Exactly like he was after Kagami told him about her and Audrey's involvement in the movie, Adrien kept spacing out throughout the school day. His dad told him that he will be modeling for Audrey this saturday. Hopefully, he will get some alone time with Audrey to ask a few questions. He thought about asking his father about him and Audrey, but he was already pushing some boundaries with father. Adrien is walking down the hall of the school when he hears screams. An akuma attack.
"Gotta go transform." As Adrien runs down the hall trying to find an empty classroom unlocked, he collides with Marinette and Alya.
"Hey girls, I'm so sorry. I gotta find my cell phone, I dropped it somewhere." Marinette and Alya stare at Adrien running off somewhere. "Don't you think it's a little weird that we are the last three people left at school?" Alya asks.
Marinette and Alya look over to Adrien running into a classroom. A flash of green light fills the room, and Cat Noir exits. Marinette and Alya were freaking out. Adrien is Chat Noir?! "Kitty?"
Alya and Marinette slowly shake off the shock. They have an akuma to deal with. They run into an empty classroom and transform. "Tikki, spots on!" "Trixx, let's pounce!"
Marinette, as Ladybug, goes off to fight the akuma with Chat, while Alya goes to one of the designated spying spots in Paris. Ever since Alya had been given her new role, Marinette and Alya went patrolling one night to seek out promising places to spy on the battle. While in position, Alya starts thinking about what just went down and the ramifications of it. Marinette likes Adrien, no doubt that's obvious. Chat Noir loves ladybug, that much is also obvious, being the Ladyblogger she picks up on that. So, they were in a love square.
Marinette is Ladybug, who both love Adrien. Adrien is Chat noir who loves Ladybug, which is Marinette.
"Omg such a pain. *she starts chuckling* How are they in a love square with themselves, when there are only 2 people in the square." Alya chuckles.
"Found out too huh?" Viperion suddenly shows up.
"Viperion? Ladybug needed you too huh? She is incredibly smart." She praises Mari.
"Yup, Marinette is an amazing person I tell you." Alya was shocked. "Wait. You know her identity?!" She almost gawked. "Yep, Chat Noir's too." The ever most curious reporter was begging to ask for more details. "Wait. How? How did you know?"
"Remember Wishmaker?" Of course, that day was absolutely crazy. "Yes, I do." She responds a bit cautiously now. "There were 2 attempts before the successful attempt. Marinette was hit…" Alya started laughing. "Haha, let me guess, Knitting Fairy!" Viperion then chuckled. "Right on the money, then Chat was hit…"
"Adrien must've been a different superhero right?"
"Actually, this was sad. He turned into himself and I quote: "When I was a kid, I always wanted to be what my parents wanted me to be." Alya wasn't expecting this, but maybe she should've. Adrien didn't have a real childhood dream. She always thought that every kid had a childhood dream. Guess she was wrong.
"That's… really sad. Oh Adrien."
Viperion had used Second Chance earlier, saving his load for Second Chance later. Ladybug had given him the miraculous because the akuma had become extremely dangerous physically harming people in the streets. The more pain it causes, it's pain increases, increasing the possibility of some people dying aiding the call of Viperion.
"Miraculous Ladybug!"
The miraculous ladybugs healed the damage of the akuma. Ladybug took back Viperion's miraculous and transformed with Rena Furtive in the sewer. Marinette suddenly stiffened and blushed as if in realization.
"I kissed Adrien twice without even knowing it."
Alya took some time to remember the two ladynoir kisses: the one during Valentine's Day and the one during the Oblivio incident. OMG, this is so painful to think about. They'll have to talk to Sunshine boy after class. Marinette and Alya talked about how She and Adrien had danced around each other for more than a year now while walking back to class. They walked into the classroom to see Lila weaving her tale of having a broken bone that the akuma caused, and that it had somehow not been fixed afterwards.
"I had a fair deal of broken ankles, best to keep it rested." Alix gave some support. "I'll carry you throughout the day and on your way back home." Kim offered. "Thank you so much Alix, Kim."
Marinette rolled her eyes and sat in her seat while Alya scowled and sat in her seat. Ever since Alya had learned Marinette was Ladybug, she connected some dots on Lila's lies and realized that Lila had lied on her blog. Since she figured that out, she took down every interview Lila had given her and covered it as a glow up procedure. She also tried to get her boyfriend Nino to disbelieve her. However Nino just brushed it off as Alya being jealous out of nothing. Alya then realized that she had just experienced what Marinette did. She then apologized again for brushing her anger as jealousy.
"I can't believe you had to handle Lila with no-one believing you like this. I can't believe I'm saying this, she might be even worse than Chloe." Relieved, Mari starts chuckling." *small chuckle* I wasn't alone Lila, Adrien also knew of her lies." Alya blinked a few times at that. He knew? How? "How did Adrien figure it out?"
"He was with Lila when Ladybug confronted him." Alya was satisfied with that. "Right. Gotcha. It's kind of romantic, you know. Star crossed lovers versus the giant liar who took control of the rest of the class." Mari playfully rolled her eyes and jabbed her in the shoulder. "Alya."
Adrien walks into the class. When he walked in, Marinette just tried to keep imagining him as Chat. Remember, he's also Chat. You can talk to Chat. You can do this. "Hey Ch- Adrien." Adrien smiled. Mari was cute when she fumbled on her words. "Hey Marinette, hey Alya."
"Anything new about the mystery?" Mari asks. Alya was confused. "Mystery? What mystery?"
Prepared, Adrien starts the story. "I found out that Kagami was involved in the movie Solitude, my favorite movie."
"Solitude? Oh yeah, that movie Adrien took you to. Wait, Kagami was involved in the movie?"
"Yep." Mari answers.
Before Adrien could continue, Lila had butted into the conversation as Chloe and Sabrina got into class. Marinette, Alya and Adrien had to resist everything to not roll their eyes at the sight of Lila.
"What are we talking about?" Mari rolled her eyes. "None of your bus-" Adrien interrupts Mari. "Actually we were talking about my favorite movie, Solitude."
Chloe's ears pick up after the name drop of the movie. Both her parents were involved in it after all.
"I love that movie too. In fact, I am great friends with the lead actress. We just went out for tea a week ago." Lila lies.
