The Next day, in Shadowmoth's lair
Gabriel is in his lair, with a magical charm in his left hand, his tablet in his right and an Akuma in front of him. He has a table and a tablet stand on the table.
"Come here little Akuma, and evilise me."
The Akuma comes to Gabriel, but the magical charm stops the Akuma and purifies it. Gabriel contacts Nathalie through the tablet
"The magical charm keeps repelling the Akuma."
Nathalie coughs "If Ladybug was able to create a magical charm to counter the Akumas, then your power should be capable of evolving too. The grimoire's clear, the only limits to the powers of the miraculous are those their holders set for them."
"Duusuu, Nooroo. Duo Metamorphosis." Shadowmoth sets the tablet and charm on the table to evilize another Akuma. Shadowmoth puts a little more energy into the Akuma.
"Reverse Morphosis." He grabs the tablet and charm again
"Akumatize me." The Akuma tries to Akumatize Gabriel but fails again.
"It's no use, Nathalie."
"Don't give up, force the powers to your will. Don't forget why you're doing this, Gabriel."
"Duusuu, Nooroo. Duo Metamorphosis." Shadowmoth puts all his energy into creating a more powerful Akuma.
"I can do this. I want it." The Akuma becomes more powerful
"Reverse Morphosis." Gabriel grabs his tablet
"Come megakuma, evilize me!" The akuma now successfully breaks through the charm's force field and Akumatizes Gabriel into the Collector.
"Finally!" The Collector yells
"You did it!" The Collector dissipates the Akuma's powers off of him.
"I can't wait to see what you make of this, Ladybug."
In the Dupain-Cheng Bakery
A blue egg shaped timer stops. Tom goes to open the oven with a dish glove. "Not with a dish glove, son. That's not how it's done." Rolland says putting an oven mitt on. He opens the oven to a glimmering Gallett. He, Toma and Sabine marvel at the galette.
They bring out the Galette and the three take a bit of the Galette. "It melts in the mouth." Rolland says floatingly. "And yet perfectly crispy." Tom comments, "It's delicious." Sabine says
"Congratulations, your first recipe you made together. Your own father and son King's Day Galette." Sabine congrats them
"The perfect alliance of tradition…" Rolland starts "And Modernity." Tom finishes. They hug while Sabine unfurls the blinds
In Marinette's room
The smell of the Galette reaches into Mari's room and up to Tikki's non-existent nose. Tikki gasps in delight and flies to Mari. "Marinette! Marinette, what's that smell?!"
Mari sleepy turns to her other side and groans "It's a galette. Made for King's Day. Every year, same day, same time whoever finds a charm in their slice gets to wear a golden paper crown. *yawn* Go back to sleep Tikki, it's too early for a Sunday."
Tikki frantically flies back and forth "I've never smelled something that's so sweet and wonderful. May I please go and try a little bit?" Tikki frantically asks.
"No Tikki, no one can see you." Mari rebutes, but this wakes up the other kwamis
"Is it breakfast time yet?" Stompp asks
"Oh I'm hungry. I'm so hungry." Baark exclaims
"Oh, I get it." Marinette sleepily gets out of bed. She changes out of her pajamas and head down to the bakery
Tom, Sabine and Rolland are preparing the boxes of the galettes while the back door opens
" *yawn* Good Morning." Marinette sleepily greets her family
"Oh, it's my baby sweetie pie." Rolland coos at Marinette
"Did my good little girl have a good night's sleep?" Tom asks
Marinette yawns "Can I please have a tiny piece of galette?" She asks
"Marinette has always loved galettes." Tom goes to cut a piece but Rolland takes it away from him.
"That's not how it's done. The tradition is first, we sell all the galettes we made and we get to enjoy the very last galette together as a family. Till then, all the galettes are for the customers." As Rolland finishes his tangent, Tikki smells the galette Rolland puts in its box.
Marinette and Tom giggle as Tom gets a tray of croissants and Mari grabs one of them. "Thanks dad." Mari starts to go back upstairs and Tikki flies out of Mari's bag.
"Where's the galette thing that's giving off that enchanting smell?" Tikki lovingly asks
"We'll have to wait until tonight for the galette, Tikki. But you can have some of this croissant while you wait." Mari compromises
Tikki gives a disapproving sound before flying in front of Marinette. "I can't wait that long, Marinette. That smell is so extraordinary. I have to taste what it is. Please, please, please!" Tikki gives her kwami doll eyes.
"Oh, alright. I'll go try and get you a piece." Mari gives in "I do wanna try dad and grandpa's new galette. Hide Tikki."
Tikki goes back into the bag while Marinette heads back to the bakery.
"Umm, I was just thinking, maybe I could help you out by handing little samples of the galette to the customers standing in the line outside. It'll help them stay patient." Mari proposes
"Great idea!" Rolland exclaims. Mari grabs a tray of sliced galette.
"It's nice to see young people still have a sense of service." Rolland appreciates Mari while she slides a few slices into her bag. She heads out
After walking a few steps, she sees Nino and Chris. "Nino, Chris. Happy King's Galette day." Nino and Chris take a sample. After another bit, she sees Alya and her sisters.
"A quartet of queens for a king's galette. Enjoy girls." The four sisters take a sample and fall in love with it.
She also sees Chloe and Sabrina in line
"What good is a King's Day without one of the original queens?" Mari asks and Chloe and Sabrina take a sample.
She also sees Adrien in line
"King's Day would not be complete without seeing my own king." Mari flirts with him
"Guess that makes you my queen." Adrien responds
The guy behind them rolls his eyes. "Get a room."
They blush and laugh, before Mari returns to her task. She gives samples to the other people in line making everyone's day. She returns to her room.
"Here you go, I brought you all some of that delicious ga-" She opens her bag to see that Tikki ate all the galette in her bag. "Uh, I must've… dropped the pieces. Sorry." The kwamis gasp in despair, but not for the reason Mari expected.
"That's not what happened." Sass exclaims.
"Tikki ate them all up." Daissi explains.
Tikki flies out of the bag in anger
"ME?! You're accusing me?!"
'Oh that's right." The other kwamis chorus
Mari giggles nervously "Uh, you must be… joking. Tikki wouldn't ever do such a thing."
"Marinette, you know how much Tikki loves to eat, but do you really understand the kwami of creation's appetite for food?" Sass questions while Tikki wide eyes and Mari looks at him confused
"It's a gourmet craving of cosmic dimensions!" Stompp yells
Sass explains more "The pastry your father and his father created together is exceptional, unique. I'm afraid it's impact on Tikki will-"
Mari interrupts him "You're exaggerating Sass, it's just a galette."
"I'm sorry to have to tell you this, but I think you don't know Tikki as well as you think you do." Sass says waringly. Tikki glares at him
"What?! Of course I know her, I can say I know her better than anyone." Mari shoots back
"Don't listen to them Marinette, it's not worth getting upset about, when it's so much easier just to go back and get galette for everybody!" She directs the last word to the other kwamis
The kwamis gasp in unison. "You're absolutely right, Tikki! So, everyone just stay here like good kwamis and Tikki and I will be back soon with some good galette for everyone! Okay?" Mari explains
The kwamis, still huddled together, nod together in agreement. Hearing the trapdoor closing, they disperse inside the room in panic.
"We're never gonna get to taste that sublime galette!" Ziggy yells
"And we'll be lucky if that's the only consequence of the Great Sweet Tooth's appetite!" Baark yells
"Barkk, since this is an emergency, I'm giving you permission to go out." Sass permits
Barkk flies outside.
On the stairs
"I'm sorry. The distribution took so long and the galette samples smelled so good." She whimpers
"Don't worry, there'll be enough for everybody! There's no need to react like they did." Mari opens the door to the bakery
Rolland closes the bakery door "That's the last customer galette. Ahh, so, shall we enjoy this last galette?" A cheerful sound of a motor horn was heard just outside the bakery. The motorcycle parks in front of the bakery with Gina on board. She then takes off her helmet.
Rolland panics, brings down the box of galette and fixes his hair. "Gina?"
"Mom?" Tom notices her. Rolland, Tom and Sabine open the door. Marinette goes to join them as well before Tikki stops her.
"Um, Marinette, what are you going to do with that... that galette?" Tikki points at the galette on the shelf
"Don't worry, Tikki. I'll put aside a piece for you and the others." She runs towards the bakery exit
"Happy birthday, Marinetta!" Gina leans on her motorcycle gift wrapped with a big red ribbon
"Mom, Marinette's last birthday was only a few months ago and you were there." Tom explains
"Oh, this year has gone by a little fast." Gina realizes
"How can anyone have their head so far up in the clouds?! A birthday's a birthday! A Galette's Day is a Galette's Day!" Rolland goes on a tangent
"Who cares? A party is a party! We put candles on the galette and Marinetta will get the present earlier, that's all. (to Marinette) Happy birthday, sweetheart! It's a beauty, isn't it? (Rolland, Tom and Sabine groan) Eighteen hundred cubic centimeters, 2V cylinders, zero to three kilometers per hour in five seconds flat!"
"Gina! We're talking about a fourteen-year-old girl!" Rolland berates her
"There's no way she's going to ride that... thing!" Tom glares
"And why not?" Gina asks
Marinette looks over to Barkk peeking behind a lamppost, pointing at Tikki who is about to get her hands on the box of galette inside the bakery.
"Nothing is too good for my little fairy?" Gina asks, confused
Marinette runs inside the bakery and snatches the box of galette from Tikki "Tikki! What are you doing?"
"I was just trying to... g-get a... sniff of this fabulous galette! Ah!" She zooms into Marinette's purse. Marinette's family enters the bakery, which sends Marinette to fumble over the box of galette she was holding.
"Ahh! Oh, there you are! (manages to catch the box, nervous) I was... just about to bring this galette to the living room! So we can eat it... as a family! Right?" Gina, Rolland, Tom and Sabine stare blankly at her.
In the Living Room
While Gina is speaking, Marinette distributes plates to the four of them, putting the plates on the coffee table. "You may not want to see it but Marinetta is no longer a little ragazza! She's a young lady and she's going to love her Nonna—"
"Nonsense! Marinette will be an adult when she's twenty-one! Until then, she's a child. Allowing her to think otherwise is crazy enough—" Rolland interrupts Gina
"I don't think I—" Marinette tries to but in
"You guys didn't come here to argue again?! I know my little girl better than anyone, and I think that huge bike is way too dangerous for her!" Tom puts in his opinion
"Hey, I'm—" Marinette tries again to but in
"You're right, son. Your mother is irresponsible and dangerous!" Rolland explains
"That's not what I said!" Tom tries to explain
"And what do you know about Marinette, Mr. Grumpy?" Gina asks Rolland
Marinette gasps, seeing Barkk and Wayzz hiding behind a lamp to let her know that Tikki is flying towards the galette on the dining table. Tikki was about to take a bite before Marinette slides on the table and the galette slips from her hands, unable to grab Tikki as well. The galette lands on her hands safely with her family finally noticing her strange behavior.
"What exactly are you doing, Marinette?" Sabine asks her
"Nothing! (titters) Don't you think it's time we ate Dad and Grandpa's delicious galette?"
Marinette sees a hungry Tikki by the corner of the ceiling, about to dive into the plate of galette she is holding
"Okay, everybody! Here you go!" Mari says
Mari places the galette on the coffee table and distributes the plates on their hands
"Come on! Yummy-yummy! Mmm, it's so good!" Mari tries to move this along
Marinette turns back to see the corner of the ceiling where Tikki was last seen but is now nowhere to be found. She shifts her head around the room anxiously to find her kwami, placing the galette back to the dining table and hides behind a stool.
"Tom is overprotective of his daughter anyway. Just like his father was with hi—" Gina starts
"That's how it's done! Parents protect their children!" Rolland interrupts
"I don't overprotect my little girl!" Tom defends himself
"Yes, you do, Tom! She's not a little girl anymore, you know?" Sabine tries to tell him Marinette, in the background, continues to catch Tikki. She climbs up the stairs.
"Agreed! Which means she can ride the bike." Gina tries to convince them
"That's not what I said!" Sabine calls back
In Marinette's room
"Tikki is not acting normal!" Marinette tells the others
"It's not as if we didn't try to warn you." Sass gives her the I told you so line
"When the Great Sweet Tooth has the munchies…" Xuppu starts
"She becomes out of control!" Ziggy finishes
"There is still one way to take control of this situation. Tikki, spots on!" Marinette tries to fix the situation
Tikki, from downstairs, gets summoned in Marinette's earrings as Marinette transforms into Ladybug.
Ladybug sighs in relief
"That was close! (her stomach grumbles) What's going on? (folds her arms around her stomach...) I'm... (...and looks at the kwamis, now possessed by Tikki's uncontrollable cravings) starving!"
"Uh oh." The other kwamis say
Back in the Living Room
"What Marinette needs is some rules of discipline!" Rolland demands
"Nonsense! What she needs is more freedom!" Gina demands
"What she needs is a dad who can protect her from everything!" Tom demands
"The person who knows best what Marinette needs is Marinette herself!" Sabine yells
Shadow Moth's lair
Shadow Moth: A family divided by a tradition that was supposed to bring them together! How terribly sad! [opens his hand to corrupt a butterfly…] Luckily, I just have the recipe to reconcile them! [...and turns it into a megakuma] Fly away, my megakuma, and once again, plunge this family into darkness!
The megakuma flies out the window, now targeted towards the Dupain-Cheng family.
Back in the Living Room
"(from his lair) Dearest Family, I am Shadow Moth. Don't worry, your magical charms won't stop you from getting your powers back." The magical charms on Sabine and Rolland's hand become corrupted.
"(from his lair) Each of you thinks they know Marinette better than the others. To help you figure this out, I'm returning your powers to all of you." The megakuma's power engulf Tom, Sabine, Rolland and Gina, transforming them into Weredad, Qilin, Bakerix and Befana, respectively.
"(from his lair) Weredad, Bakerix, Befana, and Qilin, may the strongest of you raise Marinette as they please! But in return, bring me the Miraculous of Ladybug and Cat Noir."
"I'm coming, Marinetta. (twirls her gun on her fingers) Your Befana will set you free!"
"That's not how it's done! I'll give you the discipline you need!" Baxerix tackles Befana
"I'm the only one that can protect my little girl!" Weredad calls
"Marinette! I won't let them control your life!" Qilin calls
The four of them race the stairs to Marinette's room.
In Marinette's room
Marinette hears the rumbles from below
"Quick, hide." Ladybug calls to the kwamis
The kwamis find places to hide while Ladybug heads up to the balcony
"My baby is not here!" Weredad exclaims
"She snuck out!" Bakerix points out
Qilin points to Weredad "You threatened her!"
Bakerix joins Qilin in blaming Weredad "It's your fault!"
Weredad shoot back "No, your fault!"
Befana joins in blaming Weredad "No, it's yours!"
Qilin then blames Befana "No, yours!"
"No, it's yours!" Befana shoots back
"It's yours!" Weredad says to no one in particular
The four of them continue to argue while Weredad breaks the roof of Mar's room
"Marinette!" Weredad yells
The sound traveled throughout Paris
Adrien, Alya, Nino, Sabrina and Chloe who had met together, heard the yell of Weredad. Chloe and Sabrina look towards the others expectantly. Adrien, Alya and Nino went into an alleyway to transform.
"Plagg, Claws Out."
"Trixx, Let's Pounce."
"Wayzz, Shell on."
Rena Furtive goes into her spy position while Carapace and Chat Noir join the fight.
"Give me your miraculous, Ladybug!" Bakerix yells
Bakerix continues his attempt to catch Ladybug as she constantly dodge her attacks before she jumps on him and leaps to another rooftop once again. She unconsciously takes some galette from a person
"I can't stop! This galette is so good." Ladybug says
"Galettes are not to be stolen, but eaten as a family! Your Miraculous is mine!" Bakerix
As Bakerix goes to pound Ladybug. Chat and Carapace end up on the scene. Carapace blocks Bakerix's arm.
"Good to see you guys." Ladybug sees the boys as a sight for sore eyes."
"So are you M'lady. Hey, that looks delicious, m'lady! Save me a piece?"
"No way, kitty! But thanks for the helping hand guys! I need you guys to deal with Bakerix. I've got an emergency."
"Piece of cake." Chat says
"Don't move, or you're toast!" Carapace threatens
Ladybug runs to an alleyway with the pieces of galette in her arms.
"Spots off." She de-transforms into Marinette. Tikki lands on her hands full of slices of galette, eating them ceaselessly
"Tikki! What's going on? So, Sass was right? I don't know you as well as... I thought?"
Tikki looks down "Sorry Marinette…" She looks at her with a possessed expression "but I need more!"
"AHH! (Tikki flies away) Tikki, wait! Tikki, spots—" Marinette was about to transform but Befana finds her before so
"Marinetta! My fairy!" Befana sees Mari
"Grandma!" She notices befana
Befana's two white "fairies" corner Marinette behind her
"Bravo, my angels! Thanks to you, I'm the one who found Marinetta first!"
On the streets
Carapace and Chat Noir are being chased by Bakerix, but Chat was grabbed by Weredad
"Hey! No fair, attacking from behind!" Chat whines
"I got you, dude." Carapace called. Suddenly, Bakerix attacked Carapace. This divided the heroes' attention. Rena Furtive debated going in, but Chat did something a bit silly.
Chat smiled deviously "Ladybug"
Weredad lowers his guard "Huh?" Chat breaks out of Weredad's grip
"Ha-ha! I never thought I'd fool anyone with that silly old— AHH!"
Chat and Carapace are thrown into the air by Qilin. They land on the ground and try to escape, but are surrounded by Qilin, Weredad and Bakerix
"Cataclysm!" Chat breaks the ground for them to escape.
"(from his lair) Don''t let them fool you, Chat and Carapace only saved time, Chat used Cataclysm so her will transform back. Follow them!" He takes a bite of galette. "Hmm. His Miraculous will be the charm in my galette."
Qilin, Weredad and Bakerix look down on the hole created by Cat Noir's Cataclysm. Befana flies just above them with Marinette.
"I found Marinetta! I'm the one that found her!" Befana taunts them
"Befana found my little sweetie?" Bakerix says, surprised
"She's my Marinette!" Weredad snapped at Bakerix
"Marinette doesn't belong to anyone!" Qilin had declared. The three of them leap on the roofs to chase after Befana.
"(from his lair, dropping the galette from his hands) No! Come back!"
Weredad wraps his vines on Befana's motorcycle and pulls them on the roofs.
"That broom's just like the bike, it's not for kids!" Bakerix yelled out to Befana
Qilin joined Bakerix in disapproving Befana's methods "There's no way we'll let you impose your bad habits to Marinette!"
Befana quips back "You don't know what she needs!"
Weredad buts in "I'm the only one who knows how to raise her right!" Marinette makes her escape back to the ground and finds people losing their galettes
"My galette! Where did it go?!"
"Who stole my galette?"
"That weird bug just ate my galette!"
"(shocked, gasps) Tikki?"
In the Sewers
"Plagg, Claws In." Chat transformed back into Adrien
He brings out a camembert to feed Plagg, who is laying weakly on his palm.
"Get your strength back, Plagg. We're not out of this yet!"
"How do you think Shadowmoth broke the force of the charms?" Carapace asked Adrien
"No idea. Maybe it will reveal itself after we defeat Mari's family."
"I can't imagine being Mari right now. Her whole family is akumatized, and she has to fight all of them."
"Let's comfort her after the attack. Hopefully we can figure out what happened."
Jardin des Tuileries
"Tikki! Tikki, you can't stay here! People aren't supposed to see you! Come with me!" Marinette tries to reason with her
"I'm sorry, Marinette. I just can't help myself!" She puts her hands on her face
"You've gotta try to keep it together, Tikki. My family's been re-akumatized! I need you!" Mari keeps trying to talk to Tikki.
Tikki tries to resist but fails, and so she flies to another box, containing a small piece of galette "Oh, there's only one piece left. It means if I eat it, it'll be all gone! Ohh...! I know how to get more!" Tikki grunts as she uses her power, a powerful pink aura of energy surrounding her
"Tikki, no! A kwami that uses their power without their owner always causes a disaster!" Mari recalls what Master Fu told her during Style Queen
"I'm the kwami of creation!" Tikki summons a burst of energy with a humanoid form inside, leaving Marinette in complete shock. "Lucky Charm!"
Using her power of creation, a large beam creates a ginormous ladybug-patterned galette, overshadowing the whole city of Paris.
By the Sewers
"Uh oh. Sugarcube's used her power!" Plagg says worriedly
"Sugarcube?" Nino asks
"Marinette's Kwami" Adrien says
Jardin des Tuileries
"Tikki! I'm begging you! Stop this! Control yourself!" Mari keeps trying to calm Tikki down
"But Marinette, I'm just making the biggest galette ever!" Tikki continues to use her Lucky Charm to create one giant galette, with bridges starting to crack, as well as the Montparnasse Tower.
In the Sewers
"Looks like Tikki's got a little case of the munchies again." Plagg notices
"Little"? Nino quips
"The last time was centuries ago when humans discovered chocolate. It rained chocolate mousse for eight weeks! (groans) Don't look so worried. There's a reason there's also a kwami of destruction! (winks) Come on, Adrien! Transform!"
"Plagg, claws out!" (transforms into Cat Noir)
He begins to run up on the ground and launches himself with his baton to stop the giant galette from growing much larger.
"(upon launching) Power up! (transforms into Astro Cat)" He flies into space towards the giant galette that Tikki made.
"Cataclysm!" Astro Cat activates his power and touches the giant galette, creating a giant explosion in space as he flies back to Earth
Jardin des Tuileries
The skies clear up and she becomes frustrated "Oh, no! It's okay! I'll just make another one! (uses her power for the second time) An even BIGGER ONE!"
"So, Sass was right. But... why didn't you tell me anything?" Mari questions her friend over the last year
"(cools down) I was afraid you'd think less of me... because of my cravings."
"Oh! Of course, not! I'll always like you, Tikki! Everyone has weaknesses, you know?" Mari reaches out her hand
"Let me help overcome yours, just like you're always helping me overcome mine." Tikki's stomach continues to rumble
"You can resist! I have faith in you! Look at me!" Tikki flies to hold Marinette's hand and Marinette cups her in them
"Bravo! (goes to hide behind a tree) Now, Tikki, spots on!"
The Parisian Rooftops
"No! It's yours!" Qilin yells
Weredad notices Marinette is missing "My baby! Where'd she go?"
The four villains jump back on the ground
"Marinette?" Qilin yelled
"Marinette!" Weredad yelled out
Back on the rooftops
Ladybug joins Chat Noir and Carapace
"Thanks for your help with the galette, kitty cat." Ladybug thanks Chat
"How's your kwami? Better?" Carapace asks
"Yes, it won't happen again."
"Marinette!" All the villains call out for her
The heroes jump down on the ground. The battle ensues, starting with Bakerix throwing a car at the superheroes. The three split after dodging the car as Chat Noir faces Qilin and Weredad, evading their attacks as well. Ladybug fights Befana as Carapace fights Bakerix. They then rejoin Ladybug by her side.
"We've to find out where Shadowmoth's akuma is hiding!"
Befana fires at Ladybug, Chat Noir and Carapace and the three avoid it. Ladybug grapples her yo-yo on Befana's legs, with Cat Noir knocking both Befana, as well as Bakerix. Bakerix's yeast bottle falls from his waist and Ladybug takes the opportunity to grab it with her yo-yo, breaking it, only with no akuma flying out of it.
"Nothing." Carapace points out
"Maybe this one?" Chat breaks Befana's candy box, and no akuma is yet to be seen. Befana fires back at them
"You won't stop us from giving Marinette the freedom she needs!" Befana declares. The heroes dodge her candies
"No freedom without discipline!" Bakerix argues
"She's my baby!" Weredad argues
"Marinette is old enough to know what is right for her! The only one she needs is me!" Qilin declares
"The akuma must be in an object that's the same for all four villains." Carapace guesses
"Better find it quickly!" Chat urges
"Lucky Charm! (She gets a paper crown) A... crown? Of course! The akuma's in the galette, at home! Mind distracting them?"
"Oh no! Not again!" Chat and Carapace exclaim in unison
Dupain-Cheng living room
Ladybug runs to the galette with Chat and Carapace coming close behind him. The door is being pounded by the akumas.
"We did all we could!" Chat explains
"Shell-Ter!" Carapace called
Ladybug's stomach grumbles and resists to not put the slice of galette in her mouth. She thinks of an idea and runs towards Cat Noir.
"Special delivery!" Ladybug says
"Thank you M'lady." He pulls out the charm inside the galette. "And I got the charm, I got the king. Cataclysm!" The megakuma comes out of the charm. "What in the-"
"A more powerful akuma! So that's how Shadow Moth broke the magical charms! No more evil doing for you, big butterfly!" She opens the yoyo "Time to de-evilize!" She captures the megakuma. "Gotcha" She releases the butterfly "Bye bye, little butterfly."
Dearest Family transform back into Mari's family. The three pound their fists together. "Pound It!"
"Miraculous Ladybug!" She throws the paper crown in the air and fixes all the damages caused by the villains and Tikki's craving mayhem. The magical ladybugs bring the Dupain-Cheng family safely back on the living room couch. She swipes her yo-yo open and grabs four charms for the Dupain-Cheng family and distributes it to them.
"I can't promise that these magical charms will protect you from Shadow Moth. Maybe they'll help you eat your galette in peace!"
The two heroes make their exit as they vault to the roofs, with Ladybug returning shortly after to de-transform inside her bedroom. Tikki lands on Marinette's palms.
"There you go! You finally get to taste Dad and Grandpa's famous galette!" Mari hands out a hand of crumbs
The other kwamis gather around Marinette's handful of crumbs of galette. "Woah!"
"In front of Tikki?" Sass questioned
"Go ahead! Tikki's controlling herself very well!" Marinette praises her kwami. She pats Tikki's head with her thumb
The kwamis disperse after grabbing their own pieces of galette from Marinette's hand. "I'm really sorry, Marinette. I thought I'd never have one of those craving episodes again, but the galette your family created is really an exceptional event in the culinary history of humanity!"
Mari chuckles softly "I don't blame you, Tikki. But what are we gonna do next year on Galette Day?"
"I've given it some thought! I'm sure that I can reduce my cravings if I just eat galette more often!" The two share a little laughter before Marinette gives Tikki a piece of galette.
Right outside the bakery
"Marinetta, we're really sorry. We got all into an argument about this bike…" Gina started
"Because each of us thought we knew what was right for you." Rolland continues
"But none of us thought to ask…" Tom continues
"...how you were feeling about it." Sabine finishes
"Actually, you all know me pretty well! This bike will be awesome! In a few years. However, I'd be super excited to have an electric mini scooter!"
Her family starts talking and overlapping each other. One voice was clearer than the others.
"Uh— A scooter's okay but with a helmet, right?" Tom reasons. Marinette smiles.

"Emilie, my queen, Ladybug and Cat Noir escaped me again today, but I will never give up. I will get their Miraculous. Thanks to the all powerful forces of destruction and creation, I'll destroy this world that took you from us to build a new one, where we'll never be apart again. I will succeed, Emilie. Whatever the cost."
Back at the Dupain-Cheng bakery
Gina and Rolland go back to their respective homes while Sabine and Tom head back to the living room. After some silent debate, Marinette has made an important decision. She walks up to the living residence.
"Mom, Dad. There is something that I want to tell you." She starts in her most serious voice ever
"Are you okay sweetie?" Sabine asks her daughter
"I'm okay. But, what I'm about to tell you doesn't go outside this room. Well, Alya, Nino, Adrien and Chloe know, but other than that, it doesn't go anywhere outside of this room." Tom and Sabine give each other worried looks. Worried what she was about to tell them.
"I have been keeping a secret for about a year now. Something that I haven't told until a few weeks ago." Tom and Sabine are on the couch while Mari is in the chair.
"You wanna know about my 'science project' a bit ago? It was about my secret." A few seconds of silence between them happened. "Mom, dad. I… I'm Ladybug."
Tikki flew out of Mari's bag. "I am so sorry for what I did today." Tom and Sabine were stunned. Their baby girl has been fighting villains created by Hawkmoth. It took them about 10 minutes to stop being paralyzed.
"What do you mean sorry?" Tom asked
"Well, I got a sniff of the galette, and I instantly got obsessed with it. I had eaten every last bit of the galette outside of your home. I'm sorry." Tikki apologized sadly.
"Oh. Well, it's alright. We can do it again next year." Sabine accepts the apology
"But, what are you?" Tom asks
Suddenly the doorbell dinged and Marinette went and opened it. Adrien, Alya, Nino and Chloe are there.
"Are you okay Marinette? You had to-" Adrien stops himself seeing Tom and Sabine there.
"It's okay Adrien, they know my identity. I told them. In fact they have a lot of questions, so you guys would be very helpful."
