"So are we done here yet?!" Yelled Ryoto from the top of an alter

"Who said you could talk?" Said Saiko standing next to him, putting a knife to his throat.

"Calm yourself." Said Shinso "this was all too much of a pain to have him killed now."

Ryoto had been carried to an underground cave miles away from the Clover Kingdom. Ryoto himself did not know where he was. When he had woken up he was tied down by magic metal chains to an altar on the top of a rock base and had a fleet of stairs going down it.

"You know, I didn't know you were into caves Shinso. I always took you as more of a forest kind of guy." Said Ryoto laughing

"We will now begin." Said Shinso carrying a book and a pen with ink. "Hold him down."

"Will do!" Said Saiko "but haven't you already done this? What's the point of doing it again?"

"Before I only sealed his power so that he couldn't heal or use specific powers, but now I'm going to seal it all together." Explained Shinso "such a waste. However, it is Kisho's order."

"Ah Kisho! How is he anyways?" Asked Ryoto

"You don't seem nervous at all! Shouldn't you be screaming?" Said Saiko

"No." Said Ryoto, "screaming won't do anything in this situation. I think it's better if I keep a calm mind."

"That seems very stupid." Said Shinso "did you not hear the part about losing your magic?"

"Yeah but I figured if I did lose all my powers, I'd might as well get myself some demon powers by making a deal with the cardinal devil!" Laughed Ryoto

"Oh, be quiet! You know that's just a myth." Said the woman "besides there's a difference between the demons that you can make deals with and devils that just want destruction, chaos, and multiple other desires. They taught us this in basic training."

"You should know that better than anyone, Ryoto." Said Shinso "after making a deal with a devil yourself. Then guess who paid for it?"

"Shut up." Said Ryoto with his eyes glowing red "that's not how it went and you know it."

"Oh! Didn't mean to get you angry!" Chuckled Shinso holding up the pen "so shall we get started?"

Two weeks later

After about another two weeks Ryoto was still gone and Asta was still asleep. Since Ryoto wasn't there, Kana had begun to train Yuka. Mimosa had begun to go to the Black Bulls base multiple days a week, with Noelle keeping a close eye on her. Mereoleona had been searching for Ryoto with the help from the Coral Peacocks for days on end.

Mereoleona was currently in the bath. She was in the capital taking a break on the search for Ryoto. It wasn't because she needed a break, it was because the Coral Peacocks needed rest after spending three days without much sleep.

'We still don't have the slightest idea of where he could be.' Thought Mereoleona 'we've already searched most of the forbidden realm and we've also begun to search in the common realm. There's no trace! No blood stains, no trace of mana, not anything!'

'Don't worry about him.' Said a voice

'Oh right I forgot you can read my thoughts'

'Yes I can.'

Ever since what happened in Hage Mereoleona had begun to hear a voice. The same voice that spoke to her at Hage. The flame that protected the other magic knights.

'Say, why are you searching for him so much?'

'In a way I feel responsible for what happened to him. I knocked him out so he was basically defenseless.'

'Hmm...interesting. That's not the only reason though is it?'

'What do you mean?'

'Remember I have the ability to read your mind.'

'What's your point?'

'I know that you've thought about him...in another way. Although it was just for a split second, I couldn't stop laughing!'

'Think nothing of it. It was just a random thought. I was thinking of being nicer to him.'

'Of course it was.'

'He is waaaaay too young for me.'

'So you admit it. He was right, you are old!'

'Anyways, what do you mean?' Thought Mereoleona 'for all I know he could-'

'Oh he's much closer than you might think.'

'What the hell does that mean? Do you know where he is?'

'Sorry I can't answer that question right now. We are near water which is my weakness, so I can only sense that he is close.'

'I'll just get out.'

'If you want to see him, then I don't think you should.' Said the spirit looking up

Meanwhile

Ryoto woke up to find himself in a field. He quickly stood up and attempted to activate his magic only for it not to activate. He looked nervous and in disbelief. He looked down at his arms and tried to activate his magic once more. It did nothing. His shirt was also gone for some reason he soon realized.

'What the hell is happening?' Thought Ryoto as he looked at his hands

Ryoto then used an incredibly stupid and weak move. He turned his fingers into cats that meowed.

'Well that still works.' Thought Ryoto as he turned his fingers back to normal

Ryoto then tried a variety of different magic attacks and abilities only for a handful to work and not hurt him. He noticed something else, he could feel pain a lot more now. Before, he had an ability that nullified the pain he felt throughout his body. However now, he could feel everything. He could once again feel physical pain.

"This sucks!" Said Ryoto as he healed his arm after smashing a rock and looking behind him "Well I guess I am lucky that they left me in front of the Clover Kingdom."

'Well...might as well go out for a run.' Thought Ryoto as he then felt something in his back pocket. He dug in it and found a note.

'Hey Ryoto! So you're probably wondering what happened to your power, right? Well to put it bluntly, your powers have been sealed away for now. You were too powerful as well as unpredictable at times so with a bit of guidance from Kisho, we took it upon ourselves to seal away some of your power. This is only temporary though. You can unlock your powers again by training your mana. It's as simple as that. Just use your magic enough and you'll be able to use your magic in no time. Just make sure to take it at an easy pace. If you don't, you'll end up breaking the part of your body that you're using. If you aren't using magic that involves your body, then you'll just be insanely tired. So much so that you won't be able to move your body again for a few hours. Other than that I think you'll find out a lot more about this seal on your own. Oh and side note, you'll get a surprise pretty soon! Remember my favorite number!

'Great now THAT pervert is in on it.' Thought Ryoto 'she can be a pain in the ass sometimes.'

Ryoto then went on a run around the kingdom running and climbing on top of roofs while those few who looked from their houses and the streets. He rushed onto a high roof top, using his lurk ability to pass the guards. He then sat down and looked at the view of the dark sky being lit up by the bright stars.

'Maybe I'll just sleep here.' Thought Ryoto 'let's just find a comfortable place.'

Ryoto then jumped around on the rooftops until he slipped on a loose roof tile and fell down on his back sliding down the roof.

'Maybe if I...!' Thought Ryoto turning around, as he prepared to flick his finger on the roof 'uh oh.'

Back to the present

'Three, two, one.' Said the spirit

A loud crash could then be heard from above. Mereoleona quickly got to her feet and activated her magic. A person then landed into the water. Meroeleona was about to attack whoever it was until she saw purple and blue hair stick up from under the water.

"R-Ryoto?!" Said Mereoleona going to grab the person

When she pulled up the person from the water. It was indeed Ryoto. Albeit a shirtless Ryoto, who also had short black trousers with slight tears. She placed him to the side on the floor of the bathhouse.

"What the-?" Said Mereoleona "hey are you alive?"

Mereoleona was about to slap Ryoto awake until she caught herself.

'Remember, you were going to be nice to him from now on.' Thought Mereoleona as she put her hand down and laid Ryoto down on the ground. 'Wait no screw that! This bastard paralyzed me and went off on his own!'

Mereoleona then slapped Ryoto across the face, making Ryoto wince in pain. Ryoto slowly began to open his eyes and began to come to his senses. He saw Mereoleona kneeled on the floor looking over him. Then he noticed something else, they were in the bath house and Mereoleona was...well...naked.

"Ah good you're awake." Said Mereoleona "you have a lot to explain."

"Um Mereoleona!" Yelled Ryoto, his face turning red "y-you're n-naked!"

"What about it? There's more important matters at hand." Said Mereoleona nonchalantly "Anyways, what happened? Why did you just crash through the ceiling? Where have you been? Are you okay?"

"I was going to sleep on the roof and then meet up with the Coral Peacocks in the morning." Said Ryoto covering his eyes with his hands "but then I slipped on a loose tile...then one thing led to another and I ended up crashing through the ceiling. What are the chances?"

"I see." Said Mereoleona putting a finger on her chin "but where'd they take you? Are you sure you're okay?"

"Um..I'll answer those questions..but can you please put something on?" Said Ryoto getting up with his hands still over his eyes. "It'd really help-"

Ryoto then slipped on the floor and fell on top of Mereoleona, his hand positioned near her head and the other next to her waist. Their faces inches away from one another and they could both feel each other's breathing. Mereoleona stared into his intense yellow eyes. For a split second she felt a small warm sensation around her stomach.

'What's that feeling?' Thought Mereoleona as she looked deep into his eyes

'Oh my! What a predicament!' Laughed the spirit

'Sh-Shut up!' Thought Mereoleona slightly blushing as her hand grazed his hard abs.

"I'm sorry!" Yelled Ryoto as he jumped up and turned away.

'If it helps him get the story out without it being all awkward then I guess I kinda have to.' Thought Mereoleona

After Mereoleona put on a towel, Ryoto turned around and sat down in front of her. He told her what he'd remembered.

"They put a seal on my power." Said Ryoto turning around "if you haven't noticed it by now, it's this."

Ryoto then pointed his thumb to the seal that was tattooed on his upper back, right next to his shoulder. It was in the shape of a dragon eating its own tail in a circle with a swirl in the middle.

"So really I can't do much right now." Said Ryoto "all I can really do is enhance my physical ability. I can also use some magic. Even then, when I do use either of them I end up breaking my bones, getting bruises, or just feeling really tired."

"I see. How'd you find that out?" Asked Mereleona

"I learned that the hard way." Said Ryoto scratching his head "and with my pain nullification ability gone, I'm starting to feel pain a lot more. Luckily I do have a small healing ability. It doesn't work on complete limbs but it does on smaller parts of the body."

"Is there any way to get your abilities back?"

"I think so. I think I just need to use my magic and train to get it back."

"That's good. I'll help you" Said Mereoleona, turning around and pointing her thumb behind her "by the way, my back's been killin me. You think you can do your thing?"

"Uh...I guess so." Said Ryoto putting his hands on her neck with a slight magic pulse running through his finger tips.

"So tell me, what are those spirits Kana was talking about?" Asked Meroeleona

"Right well I'm guessing Kana already told you about the basics right?"

"Yeah."

"Well to put it simply, they are spirits who will help you whenever you need them. There are two types of spirits. One of them has complete free will and acts more like a human. The other is a type of spirit that is summoned momentarily and controlled for a fee." Said Ryoto "The one I gave you is called Candy. She has the will of a human but is incredibly lazy and sleeps all the time. She would always say how good candy tastes so I decided to name her that."

"I see." Said Mereoleona "she can read my thoughts so that's a bit annoying. Other than that she's been pretty helpful."

"Oh right, I forgot. If you want to keep that from happening just press two fingers against the side of your head." said Ryoto

"Don't listen to him!" Said Candy out loud, appearing on Mereoleona's shoulder

"Why, hi there Candy." Smiled Ryoto looking at the blue flame "it seems you've already taken a form."

"If you do that then-then your head will explode!" Said Candy

"Hey Ryoto a little bit lower please." Said Mereoleona pointing down at her back with her thumb

"Yeah, Sure." Said Ryoto

"Hey, pay attention to me!"

"Yeah, yeah" Said Mereoleona tapping the side of her head making the spirit go away "Can you do the back?"

"The back? You'd need to take off your towel for tha-ah wait!" Said Ryoto putting his hands in front of his face as Mereoleona began to take the towel off.

"I don't get it. It's just skin. Why do you look so embarrassed?" Said Mereoleona "you've already seen me like this anyways so what's the point?"

"I don't really know either. I just know that it isn't right!" Said Ryoto stammering "I-I'll just get on with it. But you should probably lay down somewhere."

"Oh there's a bench by the entrance." Said Mereoleona standing up "you can do it there."

They both walked over near the entrance where there was a bench. Mereoleona put a towel over the bench and then laid down. Ryoto ran his hands up and down her wet back. He was careful when his hands went up so as to not have his hands accidentally slip and touch the side of her breast.

'Why do I feel like this?' Thought Ryoto as he touched Mereoleonas back 'my head is getting really heated and my hearts racing.'

"So how does this kingdom work?" Asked Ryoto trying to not pay attention to the situation.

"Oh yeah that's right. You aren't from around here." Said Mereoleona

Mereoleona began to explain to him how the kingdom worked. She told him about the royals, the commoners, the magic knights, and a bit of history. The two seemed to talk for hours.

"So those with power rise to the top and those that are helpless go to the bottom?" Said Ryoto "and people with power look down on other people who don't?"

'It's like what home used to be like.' Thought Ryoto

"Right. It's not pretty but it's the reality of the situation." Said Meroeleona

"Do you care about being a royal?" Asked Ryoto

"I am proud of my lineage, but I don't think of others beneath me. I don't really care about that." Said Mereoleona

"Ah I see." Said Ryoto with a smile "can I ask you something else?"

"Go ahead." Said Mereoleona

"Why are you being so nice to me? Why would you help me?" Asked Ryoto "From what I hear from other magic knights you're normally pretty scary."

'I can't be that scary.' Thought Mereoleona 'I'm just demanding.'

"I took interest in you the first time we met." Said Mereoleona "you were powerful. Enough to take down two magic knight captains and a large group of magic knights all at once, including someone with the power of a demon. For some reason I keep ending up with you too. Besides that we are both magic knights so it'd make sense that I'd want to help you."

"Right. I get it." Said Ryoto

After a while Mereoleona began to think back.

"Ryoto?" Said Mereoleona

"Yeah? " Asked Ryoto

"Sorry." Said Mereoleona quietly

"About what?" Asked Ryoto

"I knocked you out and that's what got you caught." Said Mereoleona

"It's fine. Really. If you hadn't been there to stop me, I would've probably gotten hurt worse or probably died. If anything I should be thanking you." Said Ryoto sliding his hand up her back "well I guess I'm doing that now."

'That feels really good!' Thought Mereoleona 'it feels like a warm touch wherever he touches.'

"Hey Mereoleona." Said Ryoto "we're friends right?"

"Sure." Said Mereoleona chuckling

After a while, Ryoto noticed that she'd fallen asleep. As he was about to leave, Ryoto heard footsteps coming towards the door.

"Hey Mereoleona, I'm coming in!" Said Mimosa from outside

'Oh crap! What do I do?!' Thought Ryoto 'I can't teleport or turn invisible!'

The door was then slid open. Mimosa then walked in wearing nothing but a towel. Mimosa's eyes then went wide.

"Mereoleona are you okay?!" Said Mimosa shaking Mereoleona

"Hm?" Said Mereoleona, waking up from her sleep "oh it's just you."

"You've been in here all day so I was worried about you. I came to see how you were doing." Said Mimosa "What were you doing?"

"What's it look like I was doing? I was sleeping." Said Mereoleona, "Ryoto came and massaged my back."

"Ryoto isn't here." Said Mimosa looking around "you must've dreamt it."

"No. There's proof. Just look at the-what?" Said Mereoleona as she looked over to where Ryoto crashed in. Except that there was no hole "it's fixed."

'No there's no way I could've dreamt it right?' Thought Mereoleona

Meanwhile, Ryoto was stuck to the ceiling with his eyes closed. He had jumped up there to not be seen and then realized that he could've just used his lurk ability to go past Mimosa without being seen. However, he didn't possess enough mana to do so.

"So anyways umm...Mereoleona, do you think Asta will wake up soon?" Asked Mimosa, getting into the water.

"Oh, yeah. I'm sure of it." Said Mereoleona, getting into the water and taking off her towel "with the amount of time you spend over there I'm sure he'll be fine."

"I hope so." Said Mimosa with a worried voice

'Asta's asleep? I wonder why.' Thought Ryoto 'could it be..?'

"Is that really all you came to talk to me about?" Said Mereoleona walking behind her "wow! They really are huge!"

'Gotta take her mind off it somehow.' Thought Mereoleona

Mereoleona then grabbed Mimosa's breasts, feeling them up. She grabbed the bottom of Mimosa's breast and jiggled them up and down.

"Mereoleona! Stop it!" Mimosa whined with an embarrassed tone and a blush on her face.

"Doesn't it hurt your back to carry these things?" Said Mereoleona poking Mimosas breast

"You're one to talk!" Said Mimosa turning around with a bright red face grabbing Mereoleonas breast "look at these! They aren't that small either!"

Ryoto was both bleeding from his nose and was also terrified for his life. He had covered his entire face but could still hear what they were saying and could more or less make out what they were doing.

'Well, well, well' Said a voice to Ryoto 'you're living every man's dream and nightmare at the same time!'

'Shut up!' Thought Ryoto, tapping the side of his head. 'Dammit! I can't hold on for much longer! Crap!'

"Yeah but they aren't bigger than yours!" Said Mereoleona aggressively, squeezing Mimosas breast

'I don't have a choice! I have to drop down and hold my breath under the water and hope for the best!' Thought Ryoto

Ryoto then dropped down quickly and entered the water without making a sound and held his breath. Neither of them noticed Ryoto entering the water. He then put his hand on the ground and stuck to it.

'Being trained by an assassin does have its benefits.' Thought Ryoto as he held his breath

After a few minutes Mimosa decided to ask Mereoloena something.

"So, anyways Mereoleona, how's the search for Ryoto going?" Asked Mimosa "Have you found anything yet?"

"Nothing yet. We couldn't even get a trail of his magic presence. We've searched everywhere!" Said Mereoleona exhaling "dammit. When I find him..."

"Didn't you say you were going to be nicer to him?" Said Mimosa

"Yeah." Said Mereoleona "Well, he paralyzed me and went ahead! But..."

"Hmm?" Asked Mimosa

'Is this about knocking me out?' Thought Ryoto

"I feel bad. It's my fault he got caught." Said Mereoleona clenching her fist "who knows what they're doing to him."

"Oh don't think about it too much." Said Mimosa stepping out of the water and putting on her towel "I'm sure he's just fine. He's pretty powerful, you know?"

'I guess...but...even so...' Thought Mereoleona 'would Ryoto actually want to do that kind of thing with that woman? She was pretty attractive. Who knows? Maybe he'd want to?'

"Oh and about you dreaming about him" Said Mimosa turning around "I dream about Asta sometimes too. I don't think it's anything too serious."

"I hope not." Said Mereoleona "I'm going to stay here a bit longer to think."

"Okay." Said Mimosa stepping out of the room sliding the door closed "thanks for letting me talk to you and taking my mind off things. Don't stay in there for too long."

'I wonder what Ryoto would think about me.' Thought Mereoleona, looking down at her toned stomach and muscular arms 'Maybe he likes softer...wait, what the hell am I thinking?! I don't care! He's just a kid!'

Mereoleona then thought about Ryoto being touched by the woman that took him. She felt uneasy about it. She didn't like how it felt when she thought about that.

'No! I'll find him before that happens!' Thought Mereoleona 'definitely.'

'It started as respect from when you saw him training, now you feel like this because you know him better.' Said Candy, 'this could be interesting.'

'Hey spirit! What's your name?' Thought Mereoleona 'I wanna know to tell you when to shut up.'

'Ryoto told you already! It's Candy!' Said the spirit annoyed

'But then that would mean-'

Ryoto then suddenly burst out of the water coughing and trying to breathe.

"Oh crap! How much can you two talk about?!" Said Ryoto "AH! You're naked again!"

"Ryoto?" Said Mereoleona looking at the boy "so it wasn't a dream! I knew it!"

"Yeah it wasn't." Said Ryoto turning around once again and looking at her seriously

"How much did you hear?" Asked Mereoleona

"Enough." Said Ryoto turning around and grabbing Mereoleona by the shoulders and slowly shaking her "Mereoelona it wasn't your fault. I've already told you but I'll say it again. If anything you saved me from being hurt worse. I also paralyzed you so if anything you should be angry at me."

Mereoleona simply nodded her head. She then grabbed Ryoto's shoulder and hit him lightly on the chest.

"You're right I should be angry at you." Said Mereoleona with a smirk "also stop shaking me!"

"Good. Now I'm going to head out for a bit." Said Ryoto chuckling, letting her go, and walking towards the exit.

"Hey Ryoto before you leave, can I ask you something?" Said Mereoleona

"Go ahead." Said Ryoto stretching

"Did you...do anything with that woman?" Asked Mereoleona putting her hands together

"Well yeah." Said Ryoto rubbing his neck "she teased me a bit and then touched my body. Like my abs and arms. She drooled a lot too. Not anywhere weird though."

'Damn it.' Thought Mereoleona, clenching her fist 'I'll kill the bitch!'

Mereoleona then walked out of the water and put on a towel. Ryoto blushed as he looked at her, admiring her figure. She was physically strong with strong arms and legs and a toned stomach. Ryoto then noticed something else about her that he hadn't noticed until now, she had beautiful blue eyes. Ryoto was attracted to those things. Though, Ryoto thought that it would be impolite to stare so he quickly looked away.

'Strong, smart, and has beautiful eyes? You sure are picky Ryoto.' Said a voice to Ryoto

"So where are you going?" Said Mereoleona calming down "I'll tag along."

"Oh I was going to do a few things. You don't really need to come if you don't want to." Said Ryoto

"You were going to go back to fight those guys weren't you?" Asked Mereoleona "You know, this is also a problem of this kingdom now as well."

"I wasn't going to attack." Said Ryoto "I was going to go to the Black Bulls base to try and help out Asta."

"Well it's already pretty late so you should just go in the morning." Said Mereoleona "although you should also think about going to see Dorothy. She's been worried."

"Right. I do have to go back to base first." Said Ryoto, "so I guess I'll just go back to my base."

"I think there's a spare room here if you want it." Said Mereoleona

"It's fine." Said Ryoto putting his hand to his head. "I'll just w-walk back to the ba..base"

Ryoto suddenly felt dizzy. His chest hurt and he felt pain all over his body. He then fell down unconscious. He woke up the next morning in a large room on a big bed with red covers. He was wearing an orange long sleeve with red pants. Both were made of cotton.

"W-Where am I?" Said Ryoto scratching his head

He walked out of the room still unsure of what had just happened. He walked down the hall and overheard people talking.

"Fuegoleon and Leopold, you are our only hope." Said a man

"Right." Said a Feminine voice "your sister could never get married. It's not only that she doesn't want to. It's that even if she did want to, she'd scare away almost every man. You know how eccentric your sister can be. On top of that she's reached the age where-"

"Quit talking as if I'm not here!" Yelled Mereoleona raising her fist

"Right." Said Leopold and Fuegoleon

"Oh but my little princess deserves a try, doesn't she?" Said the man "come on give her a shot. We'll bring in royals and nobles and have them meet her."

"I don't want to do that." Said Mereoleona "I'd rather sleep on a bed of nails than have to do any of that!"

Mereoleona hated it. Meeting people from other royal and noble families. All most of them did was talk about how great they were. They all looked down on commoners as if they were another species. Most of the people she'd met were self centered, only speaking of themselves and how great they were. Of course none of them were nearly as powerful as her. Yet for some reason they still looked down on her. Not one of them caught her attention. On almost every occasion she got bored or annoyed.

"Oh come on sweetie! Just once! Please? To make your parents happy?" Said the man

'Parents?' Thought Ryoto turning away 'I should get going before I cause any problems.'

"And who might you be?" Said a feminine voice behind Ryoto

'Well that was quick!' Thought Ryoto

Ryoto jumped and turned around to see a very beautiful woman. She had long brown hair and blue eyes. She was tall and had little to no wrinkles. She wore a white shirt and brown pants with red gloves. She smiled at Ryoto with a gleaming smile.

"Oh, hi I'm Ryoto. Nice to meet you." Said the boy nervously feeling the amount of mana in front of him.

"Hi I'm Hina. Pleased to meet you." Said the woman "So are you a friend of Leopold? You seem to be quite young. You must be in the Crimson Lions!"

"Oh no. I'm from the Coral Peacocks." Said Ryoto

"Oh I see." Said Hina disappointed. "So you're here...for what exactly?"

"I was just leaving." Chuckled Ryoto nervously turning around.

Hina shot fire magic at Ryoto. Ryoto jumped to the side. Electricity then surrounded his body as he was prepared for another attack. Hina then threw fire punches at Ryoto at an incredible speed. Ryoto dodged and slapped away the fists. He then dodged a punch and caught it in between his arm and rib. He hit her arm with his elbow and hit her face with the back of his hand.

Hina kicked him off and threw more flames at the boy. Ryoto jumped and ran on the wall going behind her and kicking her in the back. Hina turned around and lunged at him with another fist of flame. Ryoto kept jumping all over the walls in the hallway. He then lunged at her from the side and tackled her to the ground. Hina grabbed Ryoto by the shirt and pushed him back onto the wall. She punched him several times in the stomach and then went to hit him with a flame punch. Ryoto swept his feet underneath Hina making her fall and then kicked her onto the wall.

"I gotta say, you're skilled." Said Hina standing up

"Why'd you attack me in the first place?" Asked Ryoto putting his fists up

"I'll tell you that later. After I beat your ass!" Said Hina

"Right. We'll see how that goes." Said Ryoto gathering wind in his hand

'This hurts like hell, but I gotta keep going.' Thought Ryoto

Ryoto rushed forward and hit Hina in the stomach. The wind launched Hina back to the end of the hall where she kicked off the wall and jumped towards Ryoto. She shot flames at him from both sides. Ryoto jumped up and stuck to the roof. He then gathered pure magic into his right arm and hand. He then flicked his finger making a huge shockwave fill the hall clearing the flames. Ryoto looked down at his finger to see that it was broken.

'Damn It hurt a lot!' Thought Ryoto

"You'll have to do better than that if you want to get out of here alive." Said Hina grabbing Ryoto and punching him into the ground. "I'm only going easy on you because we're in an enclosed space. Specifically my home."

'Crap this is gonna hurt my arms! But I don't really have a choice do I?' Thought Ryoto kicking off the ground

"Well I can't really use my magic correctly at the moment so, this is going to hurt like hell. Oh well!" Said Ryoto

Ryoto then unleashed a powerful attack that surrounded his left arm in water and ice while his right was engulfed in black flames. Ryoto jumped off from the ground, leaving small craters where he jumped.

'Black flames? But that's-' Thought Hina

Hina was then punched by his left fist in the face and by his right in her stomach.

'I recognize this technique!' Thought Hina 'good thing I also know how to counter it!'

Hina then grabbed his arms and put them together, swung him over her shoulder, and kicked him back. Ryoto looked in shock as the flames evaporated the water and made a steam explosion.

"Yup! That still needs a bit of work." Said Ryoto looking at his arms that were broken and slightly burned with his knuckles bleeding. "Well that hurts."

"Hey what's with all the noise out he-Ryoto?!" Said Fuegoleon looking at the floor to see Ryoto laying there with his broken arms. He then looked over to Hina who was standing there with smoke coming from her fist.

"Ryoto's here? How's he-what the hell?!" Said Mereoleona as she went through the door to see what was going on. "Mother, what the hell is going on?"

"I thought he was an intruder!" Said Hina putting up her hands "honest!"

"She's your mother?" Asked Ryoto standing up and looking at the two "Yeah...I guess that makes sense."

'Is that where she gets being aggressive from?' Thought Ryoto

"What's wrong with your arms?" Asked Mereoleona

"What's going on out here?" Said the man walking through the door with Leopold

"It's that guy that attacked us at the top of the volcano!" Said Leopold "what're you doing here?!'

"A lot has happened." Said Ryoto waking off down the hall and raising a hand "for now I think I'm just gonna go back to base. I'll find my way out of here. See you later."

"Hey Ryoto, was it?!" Said Hina from down the hall "let me ask you a question."

"Yeah?" Said Ryoto tiredly turning his head towards her

"Who was your teacher?" Asked Hina

"My teacher...Hmm...I've had a lot of those. If you're talking about the one who taught me that move I did just now, everyone called the old man Lionheart." Said Ryoto walking off

"Impossible!" Said the man "he's been dead for a long time!"

"Well at his age I'm surprised he hasn't kicked the bucket yet." Said Ryoto waving his hand "old man is supposedly in his sixties or seventies now. Well that's what he says anyways."

'What the hell are they talking about?' Thought Leopold

Ryoto stumbled in his steps. His eyes lost focus. He put a hand on the wall so as not to fall.

'Wow that fight took a lot more out of me than I thought.' Thought Ryoto as he collapsed on the ground.

Ryoto's seal was glowing.

A/N: Sooooooo...I'm sorry about not posting as much as I said I would. Life just kinda hit me with a left turn and some of the newer chapters of the Black Clover manga made some parts of the story a bit more difficult to write. I even needed to rewrite an entire future chapter.

I've been writing in my free time so there are some chapters done. I just haven't had the time to proofread my work. This chapter itself is a bit sloppy and not everything came out like I wanted it to. I ask that you please excuse that.

Also quick reminder that this fanfic is rated M so there might be some chapters in the future that'll get hot and heavy. Just in case some of you don't really like that kinda thing, I'll label them since most of them won't really be necessary for the actual story.

Anyways, I've been trying to figure things out so that I can get back to posting regularly either every week or two to four times a month.
