Lucy is so Late.. the party already started an hour ago but she just arrived home. There was an emergency at the hospital and she was so busy that she lost track of time. She checked her phone and there were a lot of missed calls from Natsu. She quickly showered, dry her hair and arrange it in a messy bun then changed to a knee length black haltered dress and paired it with a black open toe high heel. She also did not forget her to grab her present for her husband.

She dialed Natsu's number while running to her car but he's not answering.. Maybe he's giving his speech now.. she thought.. then she drove fast to the venue.

Upon arriving she tried calling him again but still no answer, she looked for Natsu or Mira or anyone that she knew in the crowd and luckily Gray and Juvia was there.. She ran to them and asked Natsus whereabout. He told her the VIP room where Natsu is staying. She was so tired and she's panting from running.

"Juvia, can you hold this for me please? I didn't want Natsu to see this until later today." Lucy handed Juvia her present for Natsu and smiled.

"Sure. But I'm a little disappointed Lucy. How can you give your husband a small gift!?" Juvia joked.

Lucy laughed and responded "I can't think of anything else that I should give him. It's hard when your husband can afford anything!"

Before Juvia can respond, Lucy thanked Gray for telling her where to find Natsu then quickly left to find him. She's so guilty that she almost missed an important event. When she reached the room, she knocks softly then opened the door.

The scene in front of her made her knees weak and tears fell..

Lisanna is pinned on the wall and Natsu is kissing her..

Lucy wasn't able to hide her small cry and when Natsu saw her she quickly ran outside to her car. She was trembling while she looked for her keys then she heard him behind her..

"Lucy.. it's not what you think..."

"Natsu.. you don't have to explain yourself.." she turned to face him.. tears not stopping and she's trying to calm herself.. "I'm sorry I forgot my place.. I thought.. I just thought..." she tried to laugh "I'll give you your freedom husband." She was about to enter her car when she heard him say..

"Luce I don't need my freedom." he take a step towards her and continued "I need you.."

She turned around to face him, she chuckled while her arm is covering her lips and her free hand on her waist. She wiped her tears using her hand and said

"It doesn't seem like it Natsu.. Tell me.." she breath heavily "What did I do to deserve this? I tried.. I tried hard to make this work.."

Natsu frowned and interrupted her "Can you please listen to me first before you jump into conclusions Luce?"

She sighed then bit her lower lip before responding.

"Yes. I'll listen Natsu. I'll listen so we can settle this once and for all. Her presence in your life is bugging me so much so please.. Make me understand what the heck is happening? Make me understand why you are kissing her like that when you've just said that you can't even imagine touching another woman again? Explain to me.. what I saw.. is it another news that I have to.. to.. just shrug off and just believe your words?"

Natsu tried to take a step forward but Lucy raised her hand to signal him to stop and he did.

"Luce.. I just found out that everything was set up by Lisanna.. the photos and the news.. Mira just told me about it before this party started.. I was mad but I let it slide because I didn't want to ruin my day. You've made this day so special.. but just before I gave my speech I lost my phone, I didn't know where you are.. I can't call you or even check if you have any messages for me coz I fuckin' lost my phone.." Natsu frantically explained "after giving my speech, you're still not here and I'm so worried… It turns out she had my phone the whole time and I was so mad that we started to argue…"

He was cut off when his wife chuckled. "Really Natsu? You are arguing?"

Her eyes are still flooded with tears but she managed to smirked and continue. "Well, that was one heck of an argument… I'm sure both of you were enjoying it."

"Lucy… it's not…" he couldn't continue as he heard her breathe heavily and spoke in a very low voice..

"I didn't know how or when or why it happened.. it just did.. I fell in love with you.." heavy tears are falling from her eyes and she chuckled "You asked me to trust you and I did. I believed in you. I thought you wanted to keep this marriage.." she sobbed and continued "thought you wanted to keep me.."

"And I do Luce... "

She didn't give him the chance to finish his words.

"Then tell me do you still love her?" she asked.

"She's my friend Luce. She's part of my family.. Of course I love her.."

"How 'bout me Natsu? Do you love me?" She looked at him in the eyes though her vision is getting blurry because of tears.

There was a long silence. His heart wanted to say yes but for some reasons he can't say it.. Is he ready for a commitment like this? He kept asking himself.

"Did you even care for me Natsu? Do I have a place in your life? or was it all just pretends?" her voice is getting weak..

He still can't speak.. He can't think straight while looking at his devastated wife.. He took a step forward but she stepped back..

"It was so easy for you to say you love her.." she bit her lips and try to hold back her tears but it was a futile attempt, there's no sign that it will stop soon.

"I was so happy just this morning and it gave me goosebumps thinking that maybe.. maybe.. that happiness will be short-lived but I pushed aside the thought.. because I wanted it to last..." Lucy closed her eyes then hugged herself while breathing heavily. "Let's stop this Natsu. I've seen enough.. and your silence... its giving loud answers to my questions.." she whispered then got in her car and drove off.

Natsu was left there standing and unable to move. He wasn't sure anymore of what he needs to do or say. He just watched his wife drive away devastated.
