It'll be hard to update during the weekdays so I'll post as much as I can on weekends. Your reviews are making me smile. "Mrs. Natsu Dragneel, wife, Luce, I'll be waiting for you…"

Lucy's knees are trembling. She had to lean on her car for support but she was surprised when she heard the car behind her honk.

She's still in the middle of the street and now she's causing the traffic. She immediately went back into her car and started to drive.

Her mind is blank. She put her right hand on her heart then clenched her fist.

"That moron is gonna be the death of me." She thought to herself.

"You answered my questions? That's stupid. Tch." She said to herself. "You've had second thoughts about me and that's what's killing me right now…" Tears are still falling from her eyes but she's no longer sobbing. It just falls continuously and her expression turned blank. She placed her hand back to the steering wheel and drove senselessly until she reached a secluded beach.

"Oh... where am I?" she asked herself. She was driving without definite destination and this is where it led her. She saw a small inn just a few blocks from the beach, "I wonder if they offer drinks…." she thought.

She parked her car and stayed there not thinking of anything. Like she's just existing at that moment. She stayed like that for a few minutes but she was dragged back to reality when her phone rang…

She looked at it and it was her mom calling. She bit her lower lip then turned off her phone. She left the car with just the car keys in her hand. She started walking to the beach and when she reached the sand, that's only when she realized that she's still wearing high heel shoes. She took it off and left it there while she mindlessly walked to the shore. She stopped when she's just a few steps away from the ocean. She looked up and saw that there's a half-moon today.

She smiled while asking the moon "Is your other half missing too?" and continued in a low voice "You must be very lonely…"

She heaved a sigh and continued walking to clear her mind. She's tempted to go back and be with him again but she's not sure if that is the best thing to do right now… He might've done that announcement impulsively and didn't mean anything.

She's tired of being the better person every time things get bad. She wanted to value herself more because she knows that after all these years, no one else will value her more than herself. She's actually jealous of Natsu because he was brave enough to tell her that he's incomplete and can't offer himself to her yet but she, on the other hand, is claiming that she can complete him when she can't even complete herself. She's feeling so hurt and pathetic at the same time.

After wandering on the shore for quite some time, she's now feeling numb. After all the crying and her mixed emotions, it's taking a toll on her. She faced the ocean and took a few steps forward to feel the water. It was cold… just like how her husband silently stood in front of her earlier unable to respond…

She closed and her eyes and hugged herself while remembering her encounter with him the previous night:

"Yeah, it's not like I don't know any other bachelor..." again she was cut off but this time it was not because Natsu stopped her. She wasn't able to continue because Natsu chuckled while he looked down at the floor.

"What's funny?" she asked raising one eyebrow.

"You. Wife. You're funny." he looked at her eyes again and continued "You've already got the best bachelor in town and yet you wanted to settle to the ones below me?"

He was joking but it was half meant.

"Why not as long as I know where I stand in their life... If I can be their princess then..."

"Queen."

"Huh?"

"You're no princess Luce. You're a queen. My queen."

"Queen, eh?" she smirked and continue talking to herself. "Jackass. Don't say something like that if you don't mean it…"

"I meant every single word that I said, Luce."

"Stupid. Even that is a lie…" she said then realized that she just heard her husband's voice. She turned around and there he is standing behind her, both hands in his pocket.

Everyone was in shock after his announcement but he did not lose his composure and he has a plan in mind. He looked for Grey and when he found him, Grey just got off the phone.

He asked, "Where is she?"

"I just received an update that she was watching but now she's driving again, we're not sure yet where she's going…"

"Alright, don't lose her. Tell me what direction did she take? I need to see her now." Natsu said calmly.

"You still don't have your phone, right? It would be hard to reach you without it so why don't you let me drive?" Gray asked.

"Sure."

And they immediately left the venue, and Grey drove as fast as he can.

The wind blew and the cold breeze of the ocean made her shiver and sneezed.

Natsu immediately took off his coat and used it to cover his wife. She has been walking on the shore with just her small dress, she's cold but she felt his warmth when he covered her with his coat. After he put it on to her, he stepped back to give them enough space in between.

"You shouldn't be wandering around looking like that, Luce." Natsu said and smiled "even the wind will want to take you home seeing you like this."

She didn't immediately respond and just stared at him.

"What are you… how did you…" she can't finish her sentences because there's just too much that she wanted to ask… she didn't expect to see him…

"I told you before wife, I always want to know where you are. I want to keep you safe whether we're on good terms or on bad terms like today… Actually, I want to know where you are especially in this kind of situation…" he said while looking at her tired and swollen eyes.

She did not respond and just continue to stare at him while hugging herself.

"I'm here to let you know that I'll be leaving tonight. I'm not sure when I'll be coming back and you know it's because of business…" he looked at the half-moon before continuing… "You're supposed to come with me and that's supposedly when I'll show you off to the world…"

He looked at his wife again and her face is still blank which pained him but he needs to endure it. "I meant every single word Luce… I badly want to carry you now so you'll stay by my side but even a stupid and jackass person like me can understand the situation."

She stopped looking at him and bowed her head. "If you understand the situation, you would've left me alone…"

"Yeah, I perfectly understand it but don't forget that I'm still stupid and a jackass. It's not like I can leave you alone just like that…" he took a step forward, grabbed Lucy's arm, pulled her and hugged her tight, and whispered "I'm sorry, Lucy. I won't ask you to forgive me now but I hope one day… you will. I won't even oppose if you want a divorce… If that's what will make you happy…"

He gave him a light kiss on her head before letting her go.

He started walking away but stopped when she spoke.

"You can't leave me alone? You're really stupid. You can't leave me alone but you dare turn your back to me now?" She said without thinking.

"Then tell me Luce, should I stay? If you want me too, I'd gladly do it…" he responded without looking back.

There was silence. This time it was Lucy who's unsure of what to say… Does she want him to stay here with her? Will that solve everything?

After not hearing any response from Lucy, Natsu said "That's what I thought…" he breathes heavily and continued "You're not ready to give any answers yet and I respect that. It's not that I want to leave you here alone Luce, but I'm leaving you now so you can find your answers."

"How about you Natsu?" she asked.

He gave her a small laugh and responded "When I saw you drove away today… that's when I got my answers."

He waited for her response but all he hears is silence. So, this is how it felt when you don't get any response… he thought to himself then started walking away again.

Lucy just stared at him while he's retreating. When he's nowhere in sight, she faced the ocean again and sat on the sand. She can no longer control her trembling knees.

She hugged her knees and rested her forehead to her knees and tears started falling again.

"You're so cruel Natsu. Playing with my feelings like this…." She said to herself.
