Her head was torturing her. Shutting her eyes harder, she winced. She should call for Cline. The soft mattress under her fingers reminded her she was home. A good thing if her home didn't feel like a gilded cage.
The Atlas breeze was less colder today. Weiss never felt this. It was winter season. Maybe she does feel sick…
Wait. She couldn't be sick. She'll be late for rehearsals. Father will be watching. Professor Sian will rip her vocal cords. She couldn't be sick. Not now.
"Cline?" she groaned weakly, her headaches growing stronger. Cline will find medicine. She can't be late. She can't be sick. She opened her eyes.
Weiss wasn't in her room. Was she kidnapped? Her heart raced. There were twin sized beds aligned in a column. Each bedsheet was dreadfully grey. Lights were dim because it was night. She was kidnapped.
To her surprise, there were windows behind her. Large windows. Why would kidnappers want to show her off to public? Kidnappers should be more subtle to be more efficient.
The headache must've came from a drug. The Atlas breeze wasn't cold because she isn't in Atlas. She looked out the window. Outside made it seem she was in an insitute. The architecture had a strong emphasis on the rounds.
She might be in an abandoned hospital. She couldn't exactly pinpoint what part of Remnant she must be in. Just yesterday she was at Atlas. This insitute couldn't be too far from Atlas. Or she may be asleep for several days.
The insitute had working lights as evidence from the windows. Wherever she was, it must've been isolated. Despite the percieved isolation, there was something about this place that felt warm as the lights. Warmer than her room that felt like prison.
Her headache hit her again. Harder. She dropped to the floor. Like grimm she wouldn't let this stupid headache back her down. Holding on to the cold metal of the hospital bed, she raised herself up.
The metal creaked a little. She scowled to herself. This was not the time to be noisy. Warm or not, she was still kidnapped. She didn't want to develop any feelings for this place. She wanted to go home even if it was a prison, she was safe.
Faint footsteps clapped by the door. Swiftly she layed back on her bed and shut her eyes, pretending to sleep. The footsteps were nearing then she heard their hushed whispers.
"How is the girl doing Ms. Primrose?" she sounded formal, feminine, controlled. She is speaking to someone. Would a White Fang member talk like that?
"She is still having headaches and she kept mentioning winter,"
Winter. How could she forget? She should wait for Winter to arrive. Her mouth almost etched a smile until she remembered her kidnappers are nearby.
"Do you think the girl will wake up any time soon?"
"Yes, with those headaches, it wouldn't take long for her to wake up," the second voice was rougher than the first. Ironically she is already awake.
"Tomorrow students will start to arrive, I better hope she does,"
Students? She is in a school? Her mind tried to recall all the Huntsman Academies from Remnant. There are 4 academies respectively and none of them fit the architecture.
Weiss should know, she memorized them all by heart. Was this a middle school for the faunus? The headache brewed stronger as she analyzed more.
"Faragonda no spell could cure- Faragonda it's happening again,"
"Oh dear,"
Ms. Primrose was correct. She was having headaches. She was more than confused. If those women are watching over a school, why will they kidnap a Schnee? It may be a faunus school but Weiss isn't too sure. Are these women testing her?
All her thoughts seem to spiral into another void of headaches. She couldn't properly hear what they were saying. A warm hand touched her forehead.
"Faragonda, I advise we make her wake up, these headaches are getting worse,"
Weiss didn't care if it blew her cover. She wanted these headaches to be over. The women began to chant. These women must have a strange sembleance.
"She isn't waking up!" 'Ms. Primrose' said loudly. "It means she is already awake,"
Rough hands shook her shoulders. "Dear wake up," she heard Ms. Primrose said. Weiss' eyes opened a bit but not full way. Her headache was still there but as Ms. Primrose said she should wake up.
She blinked until she could see clearly. Even awake her head was throbbing. She groaned in pain.
"Dear we found you outside of Alfea and you've been sleeping for 12 hours," a tall woman in a pencil skirt says. She must be Faragonda. The other woman who wore a nurse's outfit, sitting on her bed must be Ms. Primrose. None of the women are faunus. She saw no animal features on them.
Ms. Primrose positioned her body to sit upright. "Sit up straight to ease the aching," her rough voice reminded Weiss. They don't really feel like kidnappers. They sound like they're telling the truth. Weiss was still uncertain wether to trust them or not. They can be good liars.
"Are you feeling better dear?" Faragonda asked. "No," Weiss slurred. The headache isn't getting any better. "I need medicine,"
"Don't fret, Ms. Primrose is the best doctor in Alfea," Faragonda said. Alfea must be the name of this hospital/school. Ms. Primrose placed a wet towel on her forehead.
"It will take time to stop the aching," Ms. Primrose said. Weiss was a little impatient. Can't the headache stop?
"Dear what's your name?" Faragonda started to distract Weiss from the headache. What name? They didn't kidnap her? The Schnee name is well known in Renmant unless they've been living under a rock. Everyone knew the name of the heiress, Weiss Schnee.
"Weiss Schnee, how do you not know?" she tried to keep her tone less annoyed than it came off as.
"Weiss I never heard of that name anywhere in Magix,"
"Magic doesn't exist, you're crazy!" Magic? Was she in a mental insituition of some sort? How was this mental institution even a school? Sh eunderstood sembleances, aura and dust but there is no magic.
"Are you from Earth?"
"No, I 'm from Remnant, Atlas to be more specific,"
Faaragonda had a confused look on her face. Ms. Primrose did too. "I also never heard of Remnant or Atlas," Faragonda said.
"Perhaps it is her headache," Ms. Primrose crackly voice suggested.
"I"m not crazy!" Weiss insisted. She is done playing the charade. "Remnant and Atlas exists but magic doesn't! There is dust, sembleance and aura but no magic! For all I know you are either crazy or lying! You kidnapped me!"
Her headache hit again. Faragonda looked at her worriedly. "We have magic Weiss, are you really sure you're in the right mind?"
"YES I'AM! LET ME GO!"
Faragonda and Ms. Primrose flinched at Weiss' sudden outburst. Faragonda sighed. "Weiss, we meant you no harm,"
"Girl no need to shout," Ms. Primrose snapped. Weiss found herself pouting. She is no longer bothered of the fact she was being rude to her.
"Let's not cause a fuss, we'll tackle the issue when Weiss' headaches stop," thank the gods Faragonda calmed the situation. Weiss wanted to strangle Ms. Primrose.
"I'am not crazy," she muttered to herself. She is not crazy. As if it was a reply to her stubborness, her head throbbed again.
Author's Notes: This is pre-volume 1 Weiss and mostly took place during the first season of Winx Club. I also will not include any ships except canon. I wanted to concentrate on the potential dynamics and friendships. Let me know what you think!
