Gray was leaning on the car with a cigarette in one hand and his phone in the other.

When he saw his friend approaching him, he looked behind Natsu and when he did not see Lucy he asked. "Where is princess? I thought we came here to pick her up."

Natsu also leaned on the car with his hands in his pocket. "No. Not today. I don't think I have the right to stay with her or even just stand on the same ground with her." He answered plainly.

"Tch. Now, I am wondering... how did you even become a womanizer when you can't even woo your wife." Grey teased.

"Now that you mentioned it… I never wooed anyone except for Lisanna, but that's a different story because we were so into each other that it's not even necessary."

Gray offered him a smoke but Natsu just looked at his friend's hand and shook his head.

"That won't solve my dilemma right now." He sighed. "I wonder how can I start to make things right…"

Gray stood up straight and went to the driver's seat.

"Get in," he said. "You've already made your first move, by letting the world know that you're married. Now, you just have to pursue her and be consistent in doing it."

Natsu heard him loud and clear. When both of them are in the car he responded "That's the plan… I just hope I won't mess up again…"

Gray started driving and was about to hit the gas when Natsu said "Just slow down. I saw an inn just a few blocks from where Lucy is. I want to make an arrangement with the owner in case my wife decides to stay there."

Gray gave Natsu a coy smile "and here I am worried how you'll make it up to her but it looks like your fat brain is working."

Natsu glared at Gray. "Yeah. Right. Tch. By the way, keep someone near her until we get back."

"You don't have to say, bro. That's already been arranged."

After some time, Lucy has calmed down a bit and decided to go home. She walked back to her car and picked up her shoes on the way back.

She wasn't sure if she wants to go back to Natsu's apartment or she'll go home to her parents' house. Her mind is debating... Natsu's not home so there's no harm if I stay there now but I never knew what he's thinking. He might be bluffing that he'll be leaving… If I go home, should I tell them the truth?

When she arrived in front of her car, she placed her right hand on top of her head and closed her eyes. "Ugh. This is frustrating!" She told herself then went inside her car and started to drive.

She was driving slowly and tapping her fingers in the steering wheel at the same time. She's still undecided of where to go… She's thinking about Loki but before she can even decide, she saw the small inn earlier and it made her smile seeing a big banner of beer. "I think that's what I need now…"

Upon entering the inn, it shocked her as on the outside, it looked small and old but it's a different story inside. It's already late but even at that hour, there are still many people drinking and almost all looked like tourists.

She became self-aware when people started staring at her. She bowed her head and walked to the end of the room where there's a long bar counter and a pale-skinned woman with dark purple hair is smiling at her. She seems nice. She thought. But why are they staring at me?!

Then she realized that she's not wearing any shoes and her legs and dress are full of sand. She frowned and started pulling the dress down in an attempt to cover some skin while walking. She look like a mess.

When she reached the counter, the lady who was smiling at her poured her a drink and said "It's on the house."

"Huh?" she was shocked. She looked at the drink then back to the lady.

"You look like you need one."

She slightly laughs "Are you a psychic or something?" she asked while sitting on the barstool in front of the lady then drank it. "Thank you. Yeah, I needed that."

The lady just smiled at her and continue pouring drinks for the other customers.

Lucy played with the glass and she was just lost in her own world when she heard the lady ask "I can refill that for you if you'd like?"

She was dragged back to reality and responded "I'm sorry, yes, please. And do you have a vacant room?"

Lucy looked behind her then back to the lady and said "You have so many customers… I hope you still have…."

She wasn't able to finish her sentence because the lady gave her a key and a paper bag.

"Here's the key to your room and someone bought this for you…" her smile never faded and continued "so, tell me Mrs. Dragneel, how did you mesmerize him?"

Lucy was so shocked that she almost fell on her chair.

"How did you..."

"Hey, careful. You falling from that chair is the last thing I wanna happen" The lady is now frowning "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have asked you that…" she reached out her hand "I'm the owner of this inn, Ultear Milkovich…"

Earlier that night, Ultear is just doing her same old routine every day serving customers, processing check-in and check-outs when familiar faces entered her bar/inn.

Natsu and Gray were also shocked when they saw her.

"Ultear… I didn't know that this is where your inn is located… how are you?" Natsu asked when they reached her.

"Natsu-sama." She bowed her head a bit.

"Stop the formalities. You no longer work for me or my brother…" he said while smiling at her.

She can't look at him in the eyes because she felt guilty for what happened to his brother 3 years ago.

"It's been 3 years. You don't have anything to do with what happened Ultear. So, please stop being awkward around us." Natsu said while frowning.

Ultear was head of the headmistress of the Dragneels residence before the accident and because Natsu is not involved in any way in his brother's business during that time, she's also the one who acted as Zerefs right hand and secretary.

She was also the one responsible for arranging the maintenance of Zerefs plane that day. It was not her fault but she was so guilty because she knew that the people she hired had a bad reputation but she still opted to hire them because no one wants to accept the job as it was not planned or scheduled - then the accident happened. After seeing Natsu and Mavis go through that anguish, she couldn't bear it and decided to leave… She had not contacted them since…

"But… it was because I was…" she started saying in a low voice

"If you're that guilty, then do me a favor," Natsu said with a coy smile.

Ultear glared at him and responded. "I may be feeling guilty but I'll never sleep with you Natsu."

Gray started laughing while Natsu raised one of his eyebrows.

"What the heck, Ultear" Gray said. "Just when I thought you've changed to a proper lady." And he's still laughing and it's giving him teary eyes.

Natsu smirked and said "Don't steal my line, Ultear. I will never sleep with you." then he laughed with Gray.

Ultear just looked at them in awe, well she missed this sight, then started pouring each of them a drink.

"So, what's the favor Natsu?" she asked in a serious tone and handed them the drink.

Natsu took it and responded. "My wife."

Ultear acted like she was shocked. "Your… wife?" then gave Natsu a coy smile and joked "that's not me Natsu... you've got the wrong person."

That made Gray burst into laughter again.

"Tch," Natsu said. "What am I even doing here?"

"Sorry, I just missed messing with you guys." She said while smiling.

"Well, we'd love to stay and have a drink Ultear but we still have a flight to catch…" Gray said, "so, stop making me laugh and just listen to Natsu." He was wiping his tears from laughter with his fingers.

"Ohh… I'm sorry I didn't know… So, go ahead. How can I help you or... your wife, Natsu?" she asked.

"I'm not sure if she'll even go here but just in case her feet will lead her here, I'd like to make sure that she gets a room." He said with a serious tone.

"I heard your announcement earlier today, but you didn't say her name."

"Lucy. Lucy Dragneel." He responded while looking at her eyes.

"So, you're really serious about her?" she asked while pouring Gray another drink.

"I won't be here if I'm not." He quickly responded.

"Well… if that's the case, you can leave her to me." she grinned.

"Don't tell her anything stupid Ultear," Natsu said it like a threat.

"I won't… just this and that…" then she laughed.

"No this and no that Ultear, I'm serious." Now he's smiling.

"I know. Don't be so stiff Natsu." She looked at her watch and looked back at him "I forgot to greet you… It's past your birthday but anyway, Happy birthday Natsu."

"Thank you, then I guess taking care of my wife while she stays here will be your gift for me."

"Na-ah. Pay up. You're rich, you don't need a gift from me." She said in a playful voice.

"Ugh. You're impossible. I'm just saying take care of her but I didn't say I won't pay." Natsu said while frowning and smiling at the same time.

Ultear just shrugged and went to the computer to check room availability.

"By the way, I saw that you have a shop for clothes but it's already closed," Natsu said. "I need to buy her clothes as well…"

Gray's phone rang before Natsu can finish what he's saying.

He kept silent until Gray hung up the phone.

"Natsu, we need to leave. We only have an hour left before our flight." Gray said.

Natsu nodded then turned his attention back to the lady in front of him.

"Send me the bill for her room, clothes, everything that she'll need." He said while looking into her eyes.

"How would I know if it's her? I doubt she'll use your last name…"

Gray showed her his phone. It was Lucy's picture and Juvia's.

"The blonde." Gray said and joked "She's nice. Don't eat her alive, Ultear."

She shook the hand of the lady in front of her "I'm Lucy…" she said "I guess I don't have to tell you my last name." then she smiled.

"Nope, you don't." Ultear answered without looking at her but still smiling.

"So, how did you know me and what's all this…." Lucy asked while looking at the key and the paper bag.

Ultear turned around to reached for a bottle of vodka and whiskey. Then turned back to Lucy.

"Which one would you like?" she asked while looking at the bottles in her hand.

"Anything will do..." Lucy responded while pouting.

Ultear gave her a quick laugh and said "Don't make that face…" she handed her both bottles "here drink which ever you like. And to answer your question, your husband dropped by earlier and made the arrangements for you."

Before she can even respond, Ultear walked away.

She was left there confused. There's already a lot in her mind and the least that she wants now is another puzzle to solve.

So, she decided to shrug it off. She took the key, it says V-17 and looked at the paper bag. She hesitated for a moment but decided to take it with her as well. Of course, she didn't forget her liquors.

Lucy went straight to the stairs but was taken aback when she saw a sign on the wall V-15 to V-20 then it's pointing to a door that led outside.

Her brain isn't functioning well and she can't comprehend with anything. All she knows right now is that she wants to be alone. She was staring at the door when someone suddenly said…

"V means villa. Your you get your own mini villa miss," Lucy turned her head and saw a man who has the same color of her hair and he's looking at her key. "You have to go outside, turn right and just walk straight ahead to get there."

Now, she was staring at him. "Miss, are you okay?"

He touched his face and asked, "do I have something in my face?"

Just then she realized that she's staring so she bowed and just shook her head. "Thank you." Was her only response.

Lucy started walking and followed the directions of the blonde man. But as soon as she felt the cold breeze on her face, she also felt like someone is following her. She began to feel nervous and walked a little bit faster but someone is still behind her.

When she looked back, the blonde man was following her.
