-Preface-
Greetings to everyone reading this and thank you for stopping by. I am a big fan of world-building and writing out the many things in my head, even if many times they end up fizzling out a few hours after I write them or entertain them in my head. That inevitably brought me to Dungeons and Dragons as I am sure it has done to many people before me and will to many people after me.
Why are you telling me this? you might be asking. Well, that imagination and thinking have to go somewhere, and I would rather it go to Fanfiction before I dip my toes in original fiction. And after reading quite a few crossovers I came to the age-old saying of "If you want something done the way you want it, you just have to do it yourself", and sure enough it's true for me.
Now this story will not be one of those instant gratification stories, where things are crazy from the very beginning. I prefer a slow boil where the heat turns up slowly until the frog doesn't even know it's dead. If you don't like that type of story, then it's the right time to temper your expectations or spend your time elsewhere.
This story was inspired by reading Oblivon2991, Daemius, and Dimiel's various works to some extent. However, nothing is copied or explicitly ripped from their stories.
I specifically like Oblivon2991's ability to write original characters, even if some may be a little jarring at times.
Now many people have written the tried and true method of Louise summoning someone that proceeded to steamroll the verse and make smart quips or in a way that I don't really like, force their morals and way of life on the academy, Louise, and the world in a few stories I've read. Regardless, This story is taking things in a different less-trodden direction. Louise is being transported elsewhere. More specifically, a Homebrew Dungeons and Dragons world not unlike her own. What that entails is very obvious. It will have a world with Lots of original places and characters.
Now if you are here to see Louise curb stomp another verse, well, you're in for a disappointment. Dungeons and Dragons is a very powerful verse in its own right, involving ten levels of dimensions, each containing infinite of the lower dimensions inside of one of the larger ones if that makes sense and there are gods that are on levels of each dimension that can control the lower dimensions, but you rarely will interact with any of them if at all.
I will be considering the Familiar of Zero world in a relatively unnoticed outer plane for the purposes of this story.
As a last note, the prologue will be rather short before the chapter which will be much longer.
Thank you for your time.
