Their last year of middle school was a lot quieter than the previous year, shiehow most of the group ended up together but Haru and Hayato were alone in their class. Of course there were other students but as far as he was concerned none of them matter.

Haru ended up assigned to the seat in front of him, next to the window at the back of the class. The two had the highest grades in their grade so not listening in class was a pastime for him, Haru always paid attention and took notes.

It didn't take him long to learn more about her than ever before, just sitting behind told him lots.

Like the scent of shampoo she used, strawberry had quickly become his favorite scent. How she could easily draw crowds and was always polite but never letting her guard down; which explained why she was always so exhausted once the day was over. Whenever she would say her catch phrase he learned she would jump a little, and if she was really thinking about something she would tilt her head slightly to the side and press her lips out.

She recently took to learning other languages, she currently was fluent in Japanese, English, Chinese, Korean, and French. She wanted to learn Italian which was why during study period she was currently facing him; her hair falling forwards a bit from the updo she did, lips pressed into a line, her chest pressing into her chair as she tried to get his attention.

"Ne Gokudera-san, please teach me." She asked, he knew it was a bad idea he would be able to teach her without getting distracted. Hell he didn't realize when exactly she started to distract him.

"No." He firmly said, looking away. If he had to, he would ask Reborn for more work in order to avoid this. His eyes were brought back to her face as she sighed.

"I knew you would say no." His eyes twitched, annoyed.

"Then why ask me."

He could see her frustration as she crossed her arms, lifting her chest slightly higher, distracting him again.

"Because no one else would. Tsuna-san suggested I ask you because it's your mother tongue, your sister is out of town and Reborn and Dino said their hands are full teaching everyone else. Enma's group is also out of town and for some reason shitt-p hates me." She pouted once her quiet rant finished, he was struggling to say no at this point.

"Tsuna even gave me your address so I knew where to go for lessons." Haru stated as if it was an afterthought; Hayato however was currently trying to figure out how to breathe. Tsuna not only asked her to ask him but gave her his address so he couldn't say no.

"Fine, we can go to my place tonight and practice some basic Italian." He watched as her face brightened. He knew he was gonna regret it.

"Really!" She said a little too loudly, she quickly quieted down before she continued. "Thank you Gokudera-san. I promise I will be a good student and not annoy you too much."

Hayato nodded his head, knowing he just dug himself hole. She was less and less annoying everyday, and becoming more distracting.
