Hayato had already said goodbye to Tsuna and wished him well on his date with Kyoko. As far as he knew neither told Haru about them dating yet, and he wanted to keep her as far from it as possible.
He was waiting by the lockers for her as she had classroom duties today. He ignored all the other students listening for a familiar set of steps. It didn't take long before she was making her way to him, he gave her a quick nod and then headed for the doors. She grabbed her shoes then took a few short steps to stand beside him.
"Ready." She smiled at him and he looked away walking ahead. He heard her catch herself before running forwards, it took all his will power not to turn around and catch her. He accepted she's a distraction, he will not accept these odd impulses he has around her.
The walk was quiet, which meant she was nervous or mad. He wasn't quite sure which, he pointed to the corner store near his apartment to grab dinner, he expected her to wait outside instead she came in with him. When he went to reach for the box dinner he was gonna have her hand suddenly stopped him. Her hand on his arm and all he could do was listen to his heart beat hasten, her long finger dainty in nature squeezed his arm. His eyes shifted from her fingers and made their way to her face which was scrunched up. Her eyes narrowed and lips pressed together, her nose wrinkling as she formulated her words.
"Please tell me your not having that for dinner." He couldn't help the gulp, as her face shifted from shock to determination.
"Not on my watch, where is the closet market or groceries near you." He couldn't help shrugging his shoulders, why wasn't he saying anything back. Normally he would just grab the food, fight her on it then be done with it. Instead her he was complying to what she was saying not fighting back. However the more he thought on it the more he liked the idea of a home cooked meal.
He followed her out of the store to the closest grocery store, where she bought the ingredients she needed. He wasn't gonna let her pay but she was to quick for his liking, having already paid and was out the store.
"Lead the way." She gestured as she held the bags of food, finally getting grips of his mind he did his usual tsk and walked home, the entire time feeling her eyes bore into his back. They were finally at his building and ealking up the steps to his apartment.
"Gokudera are you alright?" Came her sweet voice, he froze and looked back at her concern written on her face.
"Your old injuries aren't actting up are they." He could see the fear in her eyes but he couldn't figure out what she meant, until a flash of him in a hospital bed doing sit ups flashed through his mind.
"I'm fine, just thinking about where to start for your lessons." With that he opened his apartment and let her in. He didn't do much teaching that night, as she yelled at him for having no food in the house and instead cooked every meal for the next week for him.
