Quick guidelines to take care of Mary-Sue Pots in the best way, and to make her trust you faster.

Take her to her ballet class, you don't need to stay around if you want. The teacher and owner are well aware of her situation and they are always happy to baby sit her and Mary loves spending time there.

If she wakes up in the middle of the night due to nightmares, put on Mulan and play it on a loop. It will drive you crazy, but it will help Mary calm down and make her fall asleep once more.

Don't ask about her nightmares, she won't answer you and it will make her close herself off.

Make sure that the Mushu plushie is by her side, it's for both of your sake.

If you are a male, give her space, it takes longer for her to warm up for males.

And lastly, and this might be the most important advice you will be given. If something happens and if you hurt her in anyway, be ready to be taken down by the people she calls her siblings. She has their direct number, and they will show no mercy to anyone.

Reading through the notes written by the agent who had overseen this mission before her, a mission she still doesn't know how she has even ended up with. Looking towards the small girl sitting on the couch not far from her, the girl was hugging what she thinks is the Mushu plushie tightly towards herself.

All she wanted to do, is to call Fury and ask him what his game is here, why on earth would he place a girl under her care? He of all people should know she isn't a kid person. Out of all the agents within S.H.I.E.L.D, there must be someone better suited to babysit this girl for the next two weeks. And why wouldn't he just put her so called siblings to watch her if they are so protective over her. Something told her however that Fury has no idea of the siblings since the agent before her haven't written out any names or a way to contact them. All she had been told is that Mary would contact them if needed.

Putting down the report, Victoria Hand is trying to think of everything she has done that would lead Fury to put her on this mission. Seeing movement from the corner of her eye, Victoria sees how Mary is moving about on the couch. It being clear that she doesn't know what she should be doing, and Victoria can't blame her, they both had been put in this boat. Taking a deep breath, Victoria looks at the time and made her decision.

"How about you grab your bag, and we head down for your training?"

This question makes Mary look up, hope in her eyes. With a quick nod of her head, Mary was running out of the room to get said bag. Rising herself, Victoria quickly checks the file to memorise the address for the dance studio. Hearing Mary return, Victoria turns her head around to see Mary standing ready, holding onto a large bag. Taking that she's already ready, Victoria nods her head towards the front door to signal that so is she.

Taking the lead, Victoria opens the door, knowing with her work and that she must be extra careful when it comes to this mission, she made sure the hallway is empty before letting Mary out. The walk down to her car is a slow one and Victoria finds herself looking over her should more often than she usually would. Which is something Victoria isn't all to happy about. Reaching it and getting Mary in was at least a quick work and the studio she's training at is at least 20 minutes away.

The car ride was a silent one, as Victoria looks at her through the review mirror to see Mary playing with the dragon plushie. She seemed to be in deep thoughts, not fully knowing what she's doing at this moment. She almost looked lost, which what Victoria had read about her full case, didn't make her all to surprise. Being hurt that badly and then put together with people she doesn't know is a hard life to live buy. And with the instructions she had been given, it seems like her trust on anyone is extremely low.

And that wasn't sitting right with her, no child at that young should have such little fate in humanity. Turning her attention back to the road once more, she must blink a few times. When had she changed her opinion on taking care of the small child in the backseat? She's supposed to head for the base to have a long conversation with Fury about him rethinking all of this, now she's not all to sure that's the best thing. Taking a deep breath, she decides to just drop of Mary at the studio and then think about all of this properly and without any distractions.

Reaching the studio, she parks right outside of the door, there's no way she's taking any longer than what could be needed. Mary didn't want to waist any time either, the moment the car was turned off, she had taken of the safety belt and opened the door. Being fast on her own feet, Victoria is out of the car just as she sees Mary reaching the doors.

"Slow down a bit there."

Victoria calls out, something she quickly come to regret as she sees Mary completely freeze up, hand reaching for the doorknob. Moving towards her, being careful not to scare her to much, Victoria place herself a few steps away from Mary.

"I'm not mad, I just don't want you to run of where I can't see you if anything were to happen."

She tells Mary, hopping the young girl would understand her. There was a small head nod as an answer and Victoria opens the door. She knew the studio had been checked of as a safe place, it had however not been done by her and she had learned long ago to always double check everything herself. Having Clint and Natasha around in her base had been good training on that learning.

Mary didn't care that Victoria had to check it out for herself, because the moment the door is open for her, she enters like it's nothing. Letting out a heavy sigh, Victoria follows the young girl, only to be meet with a surprising scene. Mary was hugging an unknown woman tightly and Victoria sees the first proper smile on the girl's face. The woman lifts her head when she heard that someone entered, the smile she had have herself is gone within seconds.

Victoria can see how the woman whispers something to Mary, seeing how Mary nods her head before letting go and heading into the backroom Victoria understands she had been given an order.

"They gave her a new guardian then."

The woman speaks, no greeting or anything. She didn't even ask for a name, her arms crosses over her chest as she asked the question and eyes narrowed. For a second, the woman almost reminded Victoria of Natasha Romanoff or Melinda May, but she quickly dismissed that thought. It was good the woman is aware of everything around her, it meant Mary is safe within these walls.

"For two weeks, on my way to find out what my boss is even thinking. Thought it wouldn't be a good idea to take her with me, got a special note with her case file that this would be a safe place for her since I can't contact her siblings."

Victoria explains, feeling that now isn't the time to avoid anything. The woman is obvious sharp and if Mary can show that level of trust, then why should she not tell the truth. With luck, this woman probably knows who Mary sees as her siblings and call them. With even more luck they might just take Mary of her hands. One part of her wanted this to happen, she didn't have time to take care of a child, she had to much work to do. Another part of her had already managed to grow attached to the broken girl and wanted to do anything to make sure she's safe and sound. This is the part of herself that she must fight the hardest against in this moment.

"You haven't been told who they are?"

There was a hint of surprise in the woman's voice at this and Victoria lowers her head in defeat. This means she knows very well who the siblings are, they have just not been mention out of safety for Fury to find out. That or the agent before her wasn't sure if another agent would take over if Fury thought it was time to send Mary back into the system once more.

"Everything that was written is that if anything were to happen to her or if I were to hurt her, she has the numbers to her siblings, and they will come and take care of me."

The woman in front of her let out a snort of a laughter at that and she starts to calm down slightly.

"Well, they sure will. I'm Evgenia {Jenya} Lancaster by the way, a friend to one of Mary's siblings."

She introduces herself, holding out her hand that Victoria takes. Well, her being a friend to one of Mary's siblings would explain a lot as to why Mary is so calm and happy around here. It also explained the instant protective mode she had gone into when seeing her. It was clear she didn't want to be the one in charge of watching over Mary when something was to happen. This made Victoria worried, just who are the people calling themselves Mary's siblings if they can infect this type of fear.

If they are S.H.I.E.L.D agents, it could be any of the high ranking once. It would take to long for her to try and figure that out. And for Mary's safe and her own sanity, it's probably for the best if she doesn't know who the people are.

"Agent Victoria Hand. I only have one question for you, since this had not been put into the report properly. Do you know how many S.H.I.E.L.D agents before me Mary have been with?"

"You are her third what I know of."

So, she had have spent a longer time with the other two agents then, not just a two week stop before being moved once more like herself then. Shaking her head at this, Victoria could feel a headache forming.

"Thank you, I hope I can let Mary stay for a while when I head for the base to try and dig into what is going on?"

"Take the time you need; she will be completely fine here. And she can always use with some extra hours of training."

A small sound of complain could be heard from the door opening, making Victoria and Evgenia turn their heads towards it. Just seeing how Mary quickly pulls her head back into the room once more. Shaking her head, all Victoria can do is hope that Mary will understand as to why she's doing all of this.

"I'll come and pick you up later Mary, good luck with your training and I don't think I need to tell you to listen to your teacher."

Victoria says, louder so she's sure the young girl can hear her.

"Oh, she knows there is no playing around during training."

Evgenia ensures Victoria who smiles, good structure is always good. Nodding her head one final time, Victoria heads for her car. The faster she could get hold of Fury the faster she could get this all over with.

"HILL!"

Seeing the younger agent jump slightly in her seat, Victoria can't help but to smile. For being May's old rookie, she's quite jumpy from time to time. Maria turns around in her chair, eyes narrowed as she now looks at her and Victoria just smiles.

"Hand, please stop doing that."

She begs, making Victoria roll her eyes. It wasn't the first time she had asked this, and she should know by now that Victoria will keep doing it whenever she has the opportunity. A good agent is always on high alert after all.

"Is he in?"

She asks instead, not even bothering giving Maria any falls promises. Seeing how Maria let's out a heavy sigh at the change of the subject makes her own smile grow more.

"No, he's off on some meeting. Don't think he will be back at all today."

"Well, isn't this just perfect timing of him."

Pulling out the chair right in front of Maria's desk, she sits down on it. So much for trying to get any information about all this today.

"What happened?"

"Well, our lovely boss has given me a secret mission for two weeks and I really need to try and understand why on earth he would give me this mission when there are so many better agents for it. Even you could have done this!"

She explains, keeping as little information about what the mission is out. If Fury have told Maria about this mission, she would already know what Victoria is talking about. But if Fury is keeping this mission a secret even forms her, then Victoria doesn't want to be the one to break the silence about it. So many people have already been hurt due to this mission and she wasn't going to be cause for more deaths and wounds.

"Sounds like something he would do. Anything you think I can help you with?"

"If I had have more information about what this mission is about, I would have told you and we could have locked into it together, but sadly I have very little information myself. Which is driving me crazy."

"Ah, another one of Fury's supersecret missions I see. Well, then we are both at lost here, because you know just as well as I do that, he won't tell you anymore than you have already been told."

"Do you get a kick out of being right all the time?"

"Only when it comes to you, Clint or Natasha."

Rolling her eyes, Victoria questions herself why she's still talking to Maria in this moment. But she fully knows that there is truly little she can do. Fury had made up his mind and she had been picked. All she had to do now was to make sure she's there for Mary and to make sure she's safe and sound. Hopefully, the young girl would warm up to her a bit more after seeing her getting along well with her dance instructor.

And she had, Mary had not been as scared of her when Victoria came to pick her up later that day. The rest of the two weeks had gone by without any problems, and she had even ended up accepting the young girl using the nickname she hates. Fury had shown up at the last day to pick her away, to Victoria's surprise the girl had gone with him, head lowered and plushie tight to her body, however. Fury had simply nodded his head towards Victoria's direction before heading after Mary, making that the last time she would see the young girl.
