At the castle Luz was walking to Emily's room and saw Emily looking at a picture. "Hey Emily. What's ya doing?" Luz asked. "Just looking at a memory." Emily said in a sad tone. "Oh is today that day?" Luz asked. "Yeah the day my mom passed away." Emily said revealing the picture of her mother. Eda came in and said "Luz time for your lesson." "Not now Eda Emily needs comfort." Luz said. Eda walked over to Emily and saw the picture. "Hmm? I feel like I know that woman." Eda said.
Later Eda pulled out her yearbook and flipped to the oracle track page. "Now do any of these people look familiar to you." Eda asked. Emily pointed to a picture of a girl with light tanned skin purple eyes and pointy ears. "That one. She even has the Sam name." Emily said. "Wow." Luz said. "So Melissa is your mom? Me and her were a great pair. People called us the chaotic duo. After graduation she used my portal to get to the human world and I never saw her again." Eda said. "Wow my mom was a witch." Emily said. "Wow our family sure has its type." Luz said.
Later that night Emily was in her room and called her dad "Hey papi can you tell me more about mom." Emily said.
