The following fanfic is based on the Covenant of Primus and the Aligned Continuity books and cartoon series of Transformers. Any continuity errors should just be accepted as part of an alternate universe where it has some Transformers OC's made by me and also one of my friends and supporters on DeviantART that are added onto this fanfic. I also got help from one of my friends to write the beginning chapters of this story. With that said, enjoy~!

There were many stories of how a young Autobot became a new Prime and in earning the Matrix of Leadership, he became the leader of the Autobots who joined him in his battle to end the war between the Autobots and Decepticons. But for this, there is in the truth of an origin story of how the young Autobot became who he is to this very day. It all began so many years ago before the Great War even began. It began when the Thirteen Original Primed defeated the great evil known as Unicron the Chaos Bringer, but after the success of defeating the evil, one of the Thirteen Primes went and betrayed the remaining twelve as he destroyed Solus Prime. One of the Primes known as Quintus Prime was angered by the loss of Solus Prime, for in that, he soon called upon a warrior known as Solarguard as he not only was a skilled and strong warrior of the Autobot Alliance, but he was the conjunx-endura to one of the Primes known as Aquila Theta or to call her of her Prime name: Thetas Prime. As Solarguard and Aquila Theta both battled the traitor of the Primes known as Megatronus, they helped the remaining Original Primes to defeat him and to banish him to another dimension for good.

After the banishment of Megatronus, who became known to all including Solarguard as The Fallen, he and his conjunx-endura were now able to have peace and to carry the spark of light for many who see them as heroes of their history. As time passed by, Solarguard and Aquila Theta were able to settle down into their lives together and continue to help many Cybertronians in need, even as Aquila was expecting her firstborn child. Solarguard knew that their child will be born to become the next Prime someday with goodwill and pure light in his spark to keep the peace strong and to protect Cybertron in the future, but he also had sensed that one day...something will happen to come and take it all away. One day, Solarguard was watching over the whole city that was in the very far distance, and he was in being more silent of thought in his mind. His arms were crossed and he kept an eye on the city. Aquila was coming over to check on her husband as she saw him like this almost every day.

"Solarguard? Are you alright?" Aquila asked as she was standing beside her husband. Solarguard blinked and he looks at his wife as she had a little concern on her face. "You have been like this for a few months now, what has troubled your mind?" Solarguard replied, "I'm sorry, my dear. I'm alright...I was lost in thought and that is all." Aquila then holds his right hand with her left hand as she looks to him in having her right hand onto her swollen tank, carrying a baby sparkling. "It's just that...ever since we defeated and banished Megatronus, I have begun to sense something bad that would come unexpectedly. And for that, I do not wish to see our friends and family be suddenly gone if a tragedy is to come. That is why I wish to ask if Primus himself or any bot can help to assist us in the upcoming battles to keep our child safe." He added. Aquila could see that her husband must have had a kind of nightmare that he must've seen in his stasis sleep. She then slowly wraps her arms around her husband as she gives him his comfort. "Solarguard, I can understand what you are feeling, but you shouldn't need to worry about it, even for our baby. I promise that if something of what'll come in our path, we will be prepared for it, together and with our friends' help." Aquila Theta spoke to Solarguard, in giving him the comforting smiles that she'd give him. Solarguard then smiles a little in seeing his beloved sparkmate right for that before the two kisses and then look to Aquila's swollen tank as Solarguard kneels to place both his hand servos gently on his wife's tank. "Hello, our dear child, I know that one day, we are to meet you soon, however, we will have to keep you safe from whatever will come in our way. Your mother and I promise you that we will do our best to keep you safe and to never let you go...because we love you our dear baby." Solarguard said as he spoke to the unborn sparkling in his wife's tank. The two Autobots smile at the thought of meeting their baby in the coming days or months, and they knew to keep their promise to their little one as they both loved their baby as much as each other for any cost. One day, on the month of the baby's birth, Solarguard and the Original Primes were present in the ceremony for the newborn sparkling. They all were in Aquila's chambers as she lay on her berth bed as was holding a little Cybertronian infant in her arms. The baby's colors to show its appearance were wine red, light gray, metallic silver, cobalt blue, and cyan-blue azure.

Solarguard smiles in setting his newborn child as the baby was a boy, and a very healthy one at that. He soon slowly sits beside his wife as she looks at him. "He looks like you and he has our optics. He is very innocent and pure; our son will become a warrior someday." Aquila Theta said in a gentle smile as she then looks to her baby as the little infant looks curiously at his birth parents. Solarguard softly smiles and he gently strokes his son's right cheek in a similar smile as he also can see a bright future for him. "I agree with you in this Aquila, and for our son...I believe we shall call him...Orion Pax." He said, seeing his son smile happily when meeting his parents. "Orion Pax, that sounds like a wonderful name for him. And one day, when he is old enough he will be the greatest Autobot in the universe, with proper guidance and training from his mentors, he shall have his chosen prime name and he will help us to lead our people to peace and he will protect his closest friends who will help him into his journey." Agreed on Aquilla Theta as she also saw the future for her son to protect the Cybertronians and his future friends and family. The other Primes smile and gave their congratulations to both Solarguard and Aquila for the birth of their son, Orion Pax, and to wish them the best for his future.

However...the peace was soon to sadly come to an end for the young family as one day, an unexpected attack from alien beings known as The Quintessons came to invade Cybertron after Quintus Prime had been killed by what he created on that fateful day. The Quintesson invasion rages on as the distraught Thetas Prime or Aquila Theta in normal society and her sparkmate, Solarguard, were walking fast through Iacon, seeking refuge for their infant sparkling, Orion Pax. The baby sparkling was crying as baby Orion was trembling in fear of the fight and losses he'd seen as it made his parents grow more concerned for their son's safety. Theta's thoughts were running through her head like wildfire as Solarguard placed his hand servo on her shoulder. "Don't worry, Aquila. I know a mech who can take our son in." He said as Thetas Prime nodded. They eventually found the place of their friend and fellow Prime, Alpha Trion. Thetas looked at little Orion who is sleeping in her arms as she felt her tears coming down her faceplate. "Aquila, it'll be okay, I promise," Solarguard said as he knocked on the door while Alpha Trion opened the door, shocked to see Solarguard and Thetas Prime in front of him with their infant sparkling, Orion Pax, wrapped in a baby bundle. "Solarguard? Thetas Prime? What brings you here?" Alpha Trion asked. "We like to seek refuge for our son," Solarguard said as Thetas nodded. "Is there something going on?" the bearded Cybertronian asked. "We found out that the Quintessons had invaded Cybertron after they killed their creator," Thetas replied as Alpha Trion realized. "Quintus..." He said in remorse. "Can you please protect our son in our absence? To raise him to become what I always dreamed of?" Thetas Prime asked as Alpha Trion nodded. "Of course." He said as Thetas looked at little Orion Pax as he opened his baby blue optics, Thetas sniffled and she kissed his tiny head as she gives him to Alpha Trion.

"Aquila, the Quintessons are coming!" Solarguard called out, Thetas nodded as she kissed Orion on the head one last time before she said, "Thank you." to Alpha Trion and left him and Little Orion to catch up with her sparkmate. "Solarguard!" She called out his name as Solarguard uses his sword while slicing and dicing the Quintessons, one by one. Thetas was about to raise her sword when she saw Solarguard slashed a Quintesson in two before he got stabbed by another Quintesson. "Solarguard!" She screamed as she ran up to him while slicing the Quintesson in two. "A-Aquila," Solarguard said as Thetas Prime tried to stop the bleeding. "Don't worry, I'll fix you up and-" she said when she felt Solarguard's hand servo touch her face. "Solarguard?" she asked worriedly as her conjunx-endura smiled weakly. "I love you, Aquila, take those Quintesson freaks off of Cybertron for me." He said as he lets out his last breath before he lies dead in his sparkmate's arms. "S-Solarguard?" Thetas said as she cried for a bit before she stands up while wiping her tears away and she looked at the Quintessons coming at her. She opened her chest revealing her spark saying, "From the power of my spark, I, Thetas Prime shall light our darkest hour." Her spark began to glow as she emits a strong blast at the Quintessons, firing them out of Cybertron, Thetas then fell as she looked at Solarguard's body, she said with a weak smile. "I...love you...and our son." before she died from exhaustion.

Meanwhile, Alpha Trion witnessed Theta's sacrifice as he held back the tears when he heard a voice from behind. "Alpha Trion?" the elder bot turned to see Alchemist Prime or Maccadam. "Oh, Alchemist, something going on?" He asked as Alchemist nodded. "I've seen it as well, never seen anything like that since Solus Prime died." He said as Alpha Trion nodded. "And how're the sparklings?" he asked. "Ariel and Melinoe are sleeping fine and Dionysus and Osiris are playing," he replied as Alpha Trion nodded while he looked at Orion Pax who is sleeping in his arms. "Thetas Prime was like a sister to me, along with Solus Prime, I believe Orion has a potential within him." He said as little Orion Pax opened his eyes. As the infant child continued to cry loudly in fear and sadness, Alpha Trion hushed the baby sparkling as he gently rocked him in his arms. "Shhh. It's okay, Orion Pax. You're safe here with us. You will be okay and I promise...that you will never be alone." he promised. His comforting words soothed Orion Pax as the baby was starting to calm down after letting out his emotions of the demise of his parents. Alchemist Prime then remembered the drone-shaped locket that the late Solarguard and Thetas Prime had given him and he promised to keep it safe for that locket contained the image of baby Orion Pax and his parents. Alchemist or Maccadam gave the locket to Alpha Trion so that the sparkling will have to keep the memory of his parents alive since now they are both ones with the Allspark like many Cybertronians who have died before them.

14 years later...

Orion Pax, now a matured adult, was now at the Hall of Records as a clerk looking at the records of Cybertron when he heard a voice from behind him. "Hey, Orion." He turned around and was startled to see his girlfriend, Ariel, with some books for him. "Oh, hey Ariel." He said as he grabbed the books from her. "Still busy I see," Ariel said as Orion nodded. "Yeah, still busy." He said as Melinoe came behind Ariel. "Finding more mysteries?" She asked as Orion Pax laughed. "Something like that." He said as Ariel giggled. "Where's Dionysus and Osiris?" Orion asked. "They're at the Gladitorial Pits of Kaon," Melinoe replied. "Kaon?" Orion and Ariel asked as Melinoe nodded. "Yeah, I don't know why." She said. "Well, let's go find them," Ariel said as she and Melinoe left while Ariel turned to Orion Pax. "You coming Orion?" She asked as Orion Pax nodded. "Yeah, I'll catch up with you guys." He said as Ariel nodded and left. Orion looked at the records as he grew concerned about the inequality on Cybertron before he decided to catch up to Ariel and Melinoe.
