"what happened to Jade and Tori Cat, they're supposed to be here" asks Beck clearly upset
"you're clearly of the assumption that I did something to them so why even ask me, why not just call the cops on me, if you actually cared you'd have talked to Lane already instead of clearly accusing me of something, clearly we aren't as close of friends as you made me think Beck" says Cat as she runs off
"she seems really spooked and clearly she was more hurt by them not being here than you are Beck" says Robbie
"are you going to try and ask Cat out again this year Robbie" asks Beck
"why would I do that, don't you know she was with Tori before summer break and if I remember correctly Jade was definitely trying to get Tori's attention" says Robbie as Lane walks over with an emotionally crumbling Cat Valentine in a wheelbarrow
"could you have been any more cruel there Beck Oliver" asks Lane
"all I did was ask a question" says Beck
"actually I agree you were actually quite rude about it Beck" says Andre
"Jade had an outburst at the Heathrow airport that caused damage and as Tori was involved in the police dispute both are under house arrest there in London, and no neither of them will be allowed to even think about coming back for four years as a result of the damage Jade caused which means they will be issued online classes tailored to the timezone they're in, which also means no plays or any of the normal classes" says Lane
"man that sucks I was really hoping to do songs again with Tori this year" says Andre
"ya so was Cat, she was hoping to do a lot of music with them, in fact she'd planned her whole semester on it, anyway Robbie if you don't mind wheeling her to her classes it would be much appreciated, she's not going to want to walk around today" says Lane
"most of her classes are up those stairs, I can't use the wheelbarrow to get her up those safely" says Robbie
"feel free to carry her if you need to, she's completely non responsive right now, then at the end of the day you can take her to Trina's" says Lane as the bell rings
"everything is going to be ok Cat" says Robbie as Cat remains silent
"just wheel her to sikowits' class already, I told you she's non responsive, she's not going to answer you, you might even have go spoon feed her at lunch Robbie" says Lane as Robbie wheels Cat to class
At lunch
"how's my sisters munchkin" asks Trina walking over to have lunch with them
"not well Beck kinda made it seem like Cat is the reason Tori and Jade aren't here, like she killed them or something, as a result she hasn't said a word all day" says Robbie as he feeds Cat
"then she's not going to until Beck apologizes to her, she's in a mode her mom calls catironic, basically she's a zombie student, she will hear everything but won't be able to write anything down or say much of anything" says Trina
"sounds like Catatonia behaviour" says Andre
"basically it is just without the agitation, it's a self-preservation state that Cat's in, she will be completely unresponsive, if Beck refuses to apologize for the accusations he implied she will remain in this state and will likely be forced to flunk out of school, which is a shame because she got in to this school because of her ability to imitate others and her high IQ, if she is flunked because of Beck then we might as well ship her off to London England to be with Tori and Jade, where she stands a extremely tiny chance of being pulled out of it by them, would Beck really prefer she be flunked rather than apologize, because I'm certain her parents would sue his butt off for that, she's their pride and joy, at nine years old she secured a university scholarship in Scotland, if she remains in this state all that goes away" says Trina as Cat grabs Trina's hand and refuses to let go
"why did she just do that" asks Andre as Beck walks over
"being unresponsive doesn't mean she can't move Andre, she likely needs to pee, and me being a girl can carry her into the bathroom" says Trina as Cat tugs on Trina's arm
"does that mean yes or no" asks Robbie
"it means yes but also she saw Beck walk over, meaning she probably wazzed herself, which means I'm taking her home to change her, and she probably won't be back tomorrow" says Trina as she picks Cat up and heads to the bathroom
"why is everyone taking her so seriously, she's obviously faking" says Beck
"I highly doubt that Beck, she came back to LA already traumatized and you set her off, you need to apologize for what you said" says Robbie
"I don't believe she's that smart, there is no way, she barely passes her classes" says Beck
"are you really that ignorant Beck, what happened to you" says Andre getting angry
"Jade told me she loved Tori, that she was going to come clean, as if all the time she dated me meant nothing, we spent five freaking years together and she leaves me just like that, you'd be angry too Andre" says Beck
"but Cat doesn't deserve the hate, if you're mad at Jade be mad at Jade not Cat, you need to apologize for what you said to her Beck" says Robbie
"not today" says Beck as he walks off angrily
With Trina
"man you sure made a mess huh" says Trina as Cat just stares as Sadie walks in
"Lane says she should head home, that they can't keep her here if she's like that, he was hoping Beck would have apologized by now" says Sadie
"he needs to realize that Jade TOLD Beck she was leaving him to try and have a chance with Tori, Beck's too immature to realize he had a line-up of hot girls waiting for him and he could have had any one of them, now that they know he's this petty he has no chance with them now, if lane kicks her out without Beck apologizing there will be no Catarina returning to school, he knows that" says Trina
"Beck was surrounded by boys when I walked in here, it didn't sound like they agreed with how he handled this, given the fact that he called for my help as I walked by" says Sadie as Trina finishes wiping Cat down
"Cat keeps a spare pair of panties in her locker, do you mind going to get them" asks Trina
"I don't know her lock info" says Sadie as Cat just blankly stares
"it's her birthday, Right one turn then two turns Left" says Trina
"that's not generally how the school lock system works" says Sadie
"that's how her lock works just please do it and I'll buy you Dinner" says Trina desperately
"you don't need to tell me that twice" says Sadie as she heads to the door
"wait do you like me" asks Trina as Sadie stops at the door
"Beck's not exactly an option anymore so why not, I mean you've clearly changed, I'd like to give you a shot" says Sadie as she leaves
3 minutes later as Sadie walks back in
"what took you so long" asks Trina
"I was trying to remember what year Cat was born, Also I was enjoying the boys beating up Beck, sue me" says Sadie as Cat smiles slightly and she helps Trina dress Cat
"home bound I guess" says Trina as she picks Cat up having wrapped her in a blanket
"can I come with you, your parents are barely ever home and Being alone with someone who's Catatonic isn't exactly calming, when my little brother had a bout of it and I was left to take care of him there were moments where I'd jump a few feet in the air when he'd move even a little" says Sadie
"Let's talk to Lane about it first, I don't want you missing class" says Trina as they go talk to Lane
2 minutes later in Lane's office
"Beck do you have something to say to Cat" asks Lane
"Cat I'm sorry, I didn't mean to come off as aggressive, being with Jade is all I've ever known, not being around her made me uneasy and I shouldn't have taken it out on you" says Beck apologetically
"is Cat twitching" asks Sadie as the Anger builds in Cat
"Look at her eye's, she's very angry at him, get her out of here before he loses an eye" says Lane as Trina picks Cat up
"Can I go with Trina, Beck kinda freaks me out now, besides Trina shouldn't be alone with Cat if she's that angry" asks Sadie
"you have a point there, fine you may go but if Cat is ok to come back tomorrow then you should both return alongside her" says Lane as they leave
"wait so she really is that smart" asks Beck confused
"she has an IQ of one hundred and eighty-four, that's pretty high so yes, she acts the way she does because somebody tried to kidnap her about four to five years ago, she ended up talking his ears off about how her brother was insane which implied she was as well, he stopped the car and let her go, deeming her an extreme irritant and said as such when he was arrested, therefore she's of the belief that continuing to be irritating would keep other similar people at bay, to be quite honest it is a really good tactic, unfortunately having to maintain a false front can be very draining" says Lane
"why did she react so badly, I get I made the mistake but I don't understand what happened" asks Beck
"because you, a friend implied she did something to Tori and Jade, her other friends, she loves them both Beck, never in a million years did she expect they'd both love her, she would have been perfectly fine with just Tori, to not have them here is like constantly being stabbed, she already felt responsible because she wanted Jade on that trip but hadn't invited her because she was with you at the time her and Tori planned the trip, only for Jade to break up with you and insist on going with them, Cat certainly wasn't going to say no, as a result she feels like had she told Jade no, that she couldn't come with her and Tori, that this whole thing wouldn't have happened if she had just been happy with Tori going on that trip with her, having you accuse her, even slightly that she did something to them would break her spirit" says Lane
"how do I stop being angry at Jade for leaving me, we were together for five years" asks Beck
"believe me when I say this isn't what Jade planned, she'd always had a little crush Tori and Cat, the problem lays with the teachers constantly putting them together on group projects, it's hard to not notice small things when you're constantly put together with someone you have a crush on, when Tori and Cat were put together, often Tori's breath would catch when Cat laid a hand lightly on Tori's arm, same goes for Jade and Cat or Jade and Tori, she'd constantly notice small things, those things tend to lead the mind astray even when you don't want it to, the emotions came to a point where it hurt her to ignore them, she'd hoped to have been rejected by Tori because she knew Tori was with Cat at the time, being rejected by one meant being rejected by both, unfortunately that's not how it happened" says Lane
"how do you know how hard it is" asks Beck
"because my high school crush was Miss Francesca Guildford, the music teacher, it's actually extremely awkward that we even work in the same building, we'd dated four years in high school only for her family to disapprove of my career of choice and made her break up with me" says Lane
"that can't be easy" asks Beck
"it isn't, she's left me notes recently showing interest in trying again but every time we do it always fizzles out, at least you got a clean break Beck, Jade gave you a chance to date any of the hundreds of girls who would have killed to have a chance with you, unfortunately you made yourself look terrible by attacking Cat in the way you did, on the second day back in class no less, had she had a chance to annoy you with stories of her brother ya maybe people wouldn't think twice about you getting angry at her, Sadie has been crushing on you for years and you lost her, I could tell by the way she urgently opted to help Trina that she's headed for her heart, you lost many chances with many girls Beck and it will remain that way until you do damage control and correct for your mistakes" says Lane
"Cat's never going to trust me again is she" asks Beck
"that depends on how you correct your course, you broke the trust between you and her, it is up to you to mend that wound" says Lane
"all I can do is try right" says Beck
