"wait really how, I've never told anyone that I didn't have to" says Miley as Lilly stares blankly
"I mean all the cops in LA knew, my dad's a cop" says Tori as Jade mimics Lilly's confusion
"is that why I was never really arrested" asks Miley
"precisely, the gag was to make it seem like you were being held accountable then they'd come up with some sort of reason to let you go like a computer error or equipment fault, Velvet Starlight has to go through the same thing" says Tori
"oh my God her music is amazing, do you know who she is" asks Lilly
"that would be me Lillian, I'm Velvet Starlight, I've been working my butt off making music with my friend Andre who is the only person besides Cat who knew, unfortunately now that I'm stuck here I can't work on anything because my particular style requires me to bounce ideas off him, he's really talented and who most of my fans think Velvet is dating" says Tori
"wait so you live the same life I do, but Velvet doesn't do concerts" asks Miley
"more or less Miley, I have stage fright which is why I don't do concerts, I could barely do plays at school as it was, I may have looked solid but my brain would be on fire the entire time, constantly making me put myself fully into character so Tori aka me isn't the one playing a role but the character themselves playing as themselves, it's mental gymnastics but it was the only way I could do it" says Tori
"I didn't know there were others like me out there, living two lives" asks Miley as Lilly sits down
"there are two others in LA but I don't know their real identities I just know they're under assumed names, Naomi Silverwing and Julia Wild" says Tori
"wow I never would have guessed them as being double lifers, I heard you game Tori" says Lilly
"I dabble in it yes, why" asks Tori
"it's just there's like this amazing new game out and I was wondering if you maybe wanted to play with me" says Lilly
"why her of all people" asks Jade getting involved
"she likes meeting new people, unfortunately everyone who is from here thinks she's crazy, which to be fair isn't far from the truth but I wouldn't love her any other way" says Miley
"hey" says Lilly offended
"I don't have a problem with it Lilly, neither me or me as Velvet have any famous friends, you and Miley would be the first, Velvet despite being popular with fans but isn't with so called elites, it actually made my dad sad, he and I created Velvet Starlight together, Velvet is who I hope to be someday, confident and happy and loved by millions, it's not easy separating the two sides of me" says Tori
"believe me Tori I know how hard it can being two people, living two lives is never easy, keeping it a secret is even harder" says Miley
"if I may ask why aren't you doing concerts as Hannah anymore, it's like you killed her off" asks Jade
"it wasn't exactly my choice, I'd decided to ask Lilly out while she was in the pool one day two years ago, so my brilliant idea was to jump from my bedroom porch and land in the pool to then ask her out, turns out I timed it wrong and smashed my ankle against the pool wall, my dad was not impressed, when I told him what I had planned to do he calmed down but was still angry because math and science aren't exactly my forte and I should have known better" says Miley
"what was I gonna do say no, Miley's a big romantic, there was absolutely no way I was going to say no and mean it, I've had a crush on her since the first time I met her when she came all the way from Nashville in grade five and she was just so nervous, Oliver made jokes about it but I was entranced by her, almost right away she started calling me her California sister and it made me sad, my parents had just divorced and I was at the same time beginning to realize I had zero interest in kissing boys, then to be her best friend I tried my best to keep my feelings secret, though I'm almost certain Jackson found out" says Lilly
"yes he told me but he also knew which way I leaned Lilly, he can be a pain but when it comes to it he has my back, it's what gave me the courage to try, I can tell when he's joking most of the time, he made sure to let me know he wasn't joking, normally he wouldn't have ratted you out but you and I were already sharing a bedroom by that point so he didn't see the harm, then when you asked me out when I came home with the cast he died laughing in his room, not being mean but because it meant I could be happy" says Miley
"oh ok, did you hear about Lemonade mouth having to disband after Stella passed" asks Jade
"I was there when it happened, they were headlining for me, it was the biggest crowd they'd ever performed for, Stella really wanted to surf the crowd before I got on stage, she miscalculated and tripped, it was at that moment I came out and had to cancel the show, everyone understood why and while the insurance Lemonade mouth had covered therapy for anyone that needed it let's just say Olivia and Mo completely broke away from Charlie and Wen, they'd both grown close to Stella, her death ruined almost all sanity they had" says Miley
"wait so they were falling for Stella" asks Tori
"falling for is saying it lightly, there was nothing light about it, Charlie to this day refuses to believe Stella has actually died, he says she was to into pranks to have actually died, Wen moved to France the first chance he got, leaving Mo and Olivia to go through the pain together, slowly forming affection for one another, they came out of therapy stronger than they could have ever hoped, I may no longer do concerts or travel to meet fans but knowing they made it through that kind of trauma warms my heart" says Miley
"Charlie seemed like the go to, given he is related to Beck in some form, sad to see they react the same to certain things" says Jade
"they aren't related that much, maybe they share a grandfather or great grandfather but they couldn't be more different" says Lilly
"Stella had always been into girls, which is why she HATED having to move so much, she never had enough time to form any close relationships, had either Mo or Olivia had the strength to kiss her she might be here today" says Miley
"you can't blame them for her death Miley" says Jade upset
"I'm not Jade, however Stella doing more dangerous stunts every show was a direct result of her not having anyone, she confirmed that when she was talking to me before that show, she needed the thrill of what she referred to as the unknown feeling of true love and doing crazy stunts gave her what she imagined that thrill felt like, she'd always been seen as extreme, what people didn't see at the funeral was the fact that Mo and Olivia had pictures of them buried with Stella, it was a closed wake which is why nobody saw or knew at the funeral, Liv and Mo realized too late the opportunity they missed out on" says Miley
"and you know all of this how" asks Tori
"Stella talked to me for six days leading up to the concert, she wanted to ask them out but didn't know how to or if doing so would destroy the band she helped build, I was going to talk to Liv and Mo after that concert but as a result of the accident I never got a chance to, the last words I heard from her mic were 'I'll never forget my friends, I love you Liv and Mo', she was gone less than a minute later when her heart stopped, see the trauma to her neck wasn't bad enough for her to die or lose as much blood as she did, I think she was trampled or someone stomped on her head, the coroner described damage to her spine not caused by flying off the stage like she did, they said something like a stomping or twisting force to the neck, Mo and Liv don't know this fact, the coroner didn't have enough confidence nor support to say it was murder but I'm convinced it was, she could have lived" says Miley
"I assume you had something to do with Mo and Liv not finding out" asks Jade
"not directly but Liv lost her mom a few years prior and her dad was in jail, Mo at the time had only just lost her grandmother, you can't in good faith stack more trauma on already having lost a close friend, believe me it's tough" says Miley
"You did the right thing Miley, I don't know if I'd have the courage to keep that thought a secret, I'd have definitely told them, I can be super awkward when it comes to that kind of thing, I like being honest" says Tori
"trust me I'm probably just as awkward, it took everything I had to not tell them" says Miley
"why did you call us again, we don't generally get people begging to come over" asks Tori
"Mo and Liv said Cat's getting very depressed, doesn't think she's good enough for you two, stuff like that" says Lilly
"she's Bipolar, depression and Mania come with the gig, though being away from her especially as she goes through the last stretch of her cancer treatment has been hard, even through apparently things are looking really good cancer wise, it wasn't our choice to keep her there, her parents, mainly her mom promised she'd be present this year in her classes with no exceptions, when she learned she had cancer it was extremely hard on her, but even more so on us, legally we can't even get on a bus, our travel is that restricted, imagine Lilly was stuck in some other town here in England and you weren't allowed to call a cab or drive there or even take a bus, train or any form of travel to go see her and the only form of communication you have is video calling, imagine how hard that would be" says Tori
"wow, that would be hard, do you guys really love her that much" asks Lilly
"we can't possibly fathom just how much we love her, the issue is legality and consent from her, Jade and I were both independently worried about what would happen if we asked her out, she's not exactly the most stable person, to be quite honest we barely know her, who we consider Cat Valentine is Manic Cat or rarely Semi-depressed Cat but mostly she's Manic, we have no idea how she'd react around us when we're just as in love with her as she is us and she doesn't have an out or escape plan" says Jade
"why don't you invite her out for Christmas" asks Lilly
"we're hoping her dad can, we were accused of luring her into a relationship because she's a year younger than us, we don't want to make anyone think that's what we're doing because us being a three person couple was her plan and hope but absolutely nobody would believe us if we tried to explain that, the only reason we aren't in jail is because her dad is a lawyer and made a special trip to defend us to the police, Jade's new lawyer says we should avoid inviting her here to avoid being accused of luring her, though if she comes here on her own they can't do anything" says Tori
"I never liked how that law is enforced, all it does is bring fear, at least you're allowed to video call her but still they need to be careful" says Miley
