Shikamaru was just praying that Temari didn't overhear Ino. After all the secret was supposed to be private and confidential. Hiding from Temari for all these months was hard as it is. He did not need Ino to spoil the secret in five seconds.

"Ino! How's your team!" Shikamaru knew how much she loved to brag about them kids, so Ino wouldn't hesitate to change the subject. And the entire walk to Ame was just her bragging about her team and how easily they could become chunin.

And after hours of Ino's voice, they finally made it to Ame, and greeted by some shinobi at the gate.

"Hello, I'm Shika-..." Shikamaru reached out his hand to shake it with the Ame Shinobi, but was kindly interrupted with a handshake and pleasant smile.

"We know who you are, and your importance to our peace treaty. Welcome to Ame. Let me show you where you are staying."

The kind shinobi precisely turned around and started showing them to there inn, before letting any of them get a word out.

"I see why the call it Village hidden in the rain." Ino exclaimed as she took her purple top and slightly moved it on top of her head to cover her hair, while allowing it to still cover the rest of her body. "These rain drops are the size of golf balls." She said in a frustration knowing that her top wasn't doing the best to protect her.

"Well I think it's beautiful" Temari on the other hand was excited to let the raindrops touch her skin. Between the humid weather of Konoha and the desert of Suna, she wasn't really able to witness the beauty of an actual storm that often.

"So does the citizens" The ame shinobi chimed in, throwing a small smirk in Temari's direction. "How the rain predicted for tonight is supposed to cause record breaking floods, but you all already knew that from the report."

"We didn't-" Ino had no clue what this man was talking about, but by the fact that Shikamaru just yawned with the most calm look on his face, she knew that he knew everything.

"Yea...it's such a pain, but I'm sure with everyone getting along the train will run smoothly and on time. I'll make sure of it."

"We know, Kakashi always sends the best men for the job...but here is your inn and your key. The leader of Ame wanted nothing but the best for his guest. So please rest up and enjoy you stay. The Ame shinobi handed Shikamaru the key before dodging back out into the rain.

The four of them headed to their room and noticed this room was like no other that they stayed in.

"The TENTH FLOOR" Kankuro couldn't believe it, rarely any buildings had above ten floors and Suna hadn't even gotten the okay to start building skyscrapers such as these yet. "And three bedrooms, guess the already knew the rooming situation...and they have a mini bar-"

"KANKURO! Temari was still in awe just like her brother. But she knew that they were there for a job, and drinking would only cause problems. But she did have to admit they the bar was a nice touch. "No drinking. This is still a job."

"Not tonight-"

"Not tomorrow either" Shikamaru chimed in. "We are actually a week early but because of the heavy storm there was no way that we were ever going to make it here without the special equipment ame shinobi have, even with that a few of them have gotten hurt because of the deadly storms. So make yourself at home for a few days"

Shikamaru headed to his and Temari's obligated room where a private bathroom was hidden in the corner in order to have a much need smoke break, while the other three celebrated at the mini bar.
