Elsa sat in her window seat. Her attention shifted between the book and her lap and gazing out the window. She was pulled out of her retrieve when she heard the lock in her door click. Gerda poked her head around the door.

"Princess, your Aunt and Uncle's ship has docked in the harbor. The carriage has gone to collect them. They should be back shortly."

Elsa nodded, placed down her book on the seat, rose to her feet and quickly brushed invisible wrinkles from her dress. She shuffled forward with her head slightly down and stopped right in front of Gerda.

"Princess, you alright?"

Elsa shyly made eye contact and gave a small nod.

"As ready as I'll ever be. Is it silly that I am nervous to leave this room? I have wanted to do this for so long, but now to actually cross this threshold…"

Gerda nodded her head. It made sense. The poor girl was essentially raised within the four walls of that room. The few times she was dragged out of there it was not for positive reasons. Elsa ended up in a worse location. Gerda knew she was dragged to the dungeon on multiple occasions, but since she was barred from ever seeing her she was detained for her "transgressions" and considered "too dangerous" to be around others; she never knew how bad it really got for the poor girl down there. She would never push Elsa to talk about it, and Elsa was not willing to utter a word about what happened down there.

"Princess it is more than okay and normal for you to be nervous. To be quite honest with you I am too. This whole situation has me on edge for your sake. While I am more than happy, ecstatic that you are finally allowed out of your room for a good reason… I just don't trust some unknown variables."

Elsa nodded and gave Gerda a tight lip grin.

"I know. I'll be okay. Just keep an eye on Anna for me? I won't be able to step in and help her without making the situation worse. Just.. please?"

"I promise. Just keep your chin up. You'll do just fine."

With that the two of them moved down the hall to go and meet up with the rest of the welcoming committee.

When they made it down the front stairs and into the semi crowded front foyer it was easy for them to spot and find where the royal family was to line up and wait to welcome the visiting royals from Corona. King Agnarr stood front and center standing in such a manner to accentuate his height. To his left stood Queen Iduna who was standing straight, but somehow managed to seem caved in on herself. She stared without seeing. It was like a vacant body stood beside the King. Without making any noticeable movements Elsa's eyes quickly and subtly scanned the room and did not see a trace of Anna anywhere in the room. She must not be down here yet. Elsa then made the mistake and finally turned and made eye contact with her father. His eyes bore down into her own making her feel small and something she never thought she could feel with her powers, cold. His ice cold eyes froze and held her in his stare.

"What are you looking at, girl? Go and stand to my right. Don't you know anything? Fall into formation. The quicker we do this the sooner you don't have to be here."

Elsa's eyes immediately snapped down to the floor as she quickly slid into place to the King's right. She stood as far away as she could without being rude or "out of formation". She stood there for a few moments, her ears ringing in the silence. Her vision started to tunnel as her breathing quietly started to pick up. I will not lose it here. Ignore the feeling… stuff it down… don't feel… conceal it… don't feel.

She was broken out of her retrieve by a loud squeak of shoes sliding into the room quickly followed by a crash. Anna. With her head still tilted down, Elsa's eyes flash up and lock on Anna. She had come sliding in in pure Anna-esk fashion, but had over estimated the amount of power she needed to slide into the room and slid right into an armored statue. Elsa was sure that had left a mark or two. Though it was a coin toss on which one of the two was more damaged from the incident. If Elsa had to bet Anna was going to walk away more or less unharmed while the same could not be said of the poor statue.

"ANNA!"

Everyone in the room froze. You could hear a feather drop. It was so silent.

"Sorry! My bad… one second let me just…" Anna was caught off with a low grunt as she heaved the large statue back up, "Tada! See no harm no foul!"

"ANNA!"

"Sorry! I know I'm late, hence the slide in… but that did not go too well…"

"ANNA! GET OVER HERE!"

"Oh right, sorry!"

Anna scurried over and stumbled over her feet as her eyes locked in on Elsa. Forgetting herself she started to jog over with a huge grin.

"ELSIE!"

With that Anna slammed into Elsa's side. Elsa stood there frozen. She was scared to even breathe. Anna, what did I tell you? Have you lost your mind?

"ANNA! GET OFF OF YOUR SISTER! DO NOT TOUCH HER, TALK TO HER, OR CALL HER THAT RIDICULOUS NAME!"

The King's voice thundered in the room. Anna quickly dropped her arms from around her sister and gave her a quick and unnoticed wink. Elsa was the only one that saw and realized Anna had done all of this on purpose. What are you playing at Anna?

Just then a second voice reverberated throughout the room, but this one was much different. It rang out with a warmth, a more rounded and soft quality. It was a velvet to King Agnarr's steel.

"Well that's unnecessary… I think affection among sisters nevermind children seems more than reasonable. Be careful brother, you'll burst a vain with all that yelling. We could probably hear you all the way in Corona with you yelling like that."

All eyes in the room, royal and servant went to the new voice in the room. There in the doorway stood the King and Queen of Corona.

Hey guys! I hope you are have been doing well. Sorry for another short chapter, but I have been a little busy. I wanted to at least give you all just a little something though. I want to just say that you guys are amazing and that I really appreciate your support. I want you all to know that I will answer any and all questions you guys have. I am more than happy to answer and I will more likely than not answer back in the comment section so that you do not have to wait until the next update for an answer.

Now I have a question for all of you. The story is currently rated T, but I have a story line idea I have planned to add that is quite dark. Now I can gloss over it and make more illusions to what has happened to keep the story T or I can go into more detail and reclassify the story to M. I want your opinions on this matter since you all are the ones reading this. The up coming parts are about to get really dark in this story (yes in relation with Elsa) before things actually start to get better and lighter again. I can promise upfront that the story will end with a happy ending, the journey there though I can't make the same promise (lol sorry). Anyways you guys tell me what you think.

Thanks for reading!
