This took a little longer then planed but here it is and perfectly timed to it seems.

Riko groaned as she kicked her feet on her bed as she had her face buried in her pillow 'Idiot, idiot!' the redhead groaned in her head as she remembered to two weeks ago when the incident with the potion happened 'Great job Riko, you really manage to mess that up.'
Her internal tirade against herself was interrupted by a knock at her door "Riko, it's me!" came Chika's voice through the door.
"Come in Chika." Riko said her face still in her pillow. Riko didn't move as she heard the ginger enter the room and shut the door before walking over and sitting in the chair at her desk.
"Are you still not going to see her?" Chika asked, both knowing who she was talking about.
"How can I?" Riko groaned "Even if she wasn't mad about the kiss, she will be for what I did when I woke up." Riko said as her mind wondered to that night.
(Two weeks ago)
Riko opened her eyes only to be met with a blinding light and the redhead felt like her head had a woodpecker inside "Urgh, where am I?" Riko groaned as she rubbed her eyes as she started to remember "Oh right I was helping Yo with the potion when it exploded and…"
Suddenly everything she did under the potion's effects came flooding back to her, the kissing, the straddling, all of it, even what she was thinking about doing further if the potion hadn't knocked her out which made the redhead blush further, Riko didn't know whether to shout or whack her head against the wall.
"How am I going to explain this?" Riko muttered to herself "Ok, I just need to say it was the love potions effects and it was just that I had too much…"
"Are you really sure it was a truth potion?" Riko heard Yo asked though the door.
"Yes, Yo I'm sure, stop asking." Came Mari's reply and Riko felt all her blood run out her spine.
'She's going to hate me for this!' Riko screamed in her head panicking.
Any further thoughts were interrupted by the sounds of feet grabbing her attention, scanning around she saw her wand on the table and picked it up and stood up and moved towards the door and hid behind it and waited.
"Riko, are you awake?" Riko heard Yo say after she knocked on the door.
Riko muttered a spell once she reached the door "Power of the sprits heed my call make me fast like free fall."
"Riko, you still asleep?" Yo asked as she entered.
"Riko?" Yo said with a confused voice at Riko no being on the sofa or in sight, once she had taken a few steps into the room Riko bolted from behind the door and rushed out the office.
"Riko wait!" the redhead heard Yo shout as she ran through the door and then out the class, she didn't stop running till she reached her room at the top of the school's tower and locked the door.
Once she was in her room, she choked out a sob and grabbed fistfuls of her hair "I'm sorry Yo." Riko said as she felt tears rolling down her cheeks.
(Present time)
Since then she'd been doing her best to avoid Yo, using speed to get out of class quick and stealth spells to avoid her in the halls, it crushed her heart to do it, but she just didn't want to face the girl, the thought of her shunning her made her heart twist just as much.
'Maybe I should just face her and let her do it, she has more reason and at least then I wouldn't hate myself more for putting up this wall to.' Riko groaned in her head.
"Riko, you love her, just talk to her, she's not going to hate you." Chika sighed; this wasn't the first time the ginger had tried to get her to face the ashen girl "If you didn't want to go out with her why did you want her to try the love potion in the first place?"
"I don't know, I don't know what I was thinking." Riko groaned.
Riko hear the ginger sigh a moment before speaking "Professor Mari said she needs to see you right away, it sounded pretty urgent."
Riko let out a sigh 'Great that's all I need.' Riko groaned in her mind, she just wanted to stay in her bed and mope but if the teacher asked for her urgently, she didn't really have a choice "Fine, I'll go right there." Riko sighed setting off.
"Do you want me to come with?" Chika asked.
"No, if it's about I think it is then its better I do this alone." Riko said before walking down the stairs.
Riko walked quietly through the halls to the potions rooms where Mari's office was located 'Why did she have to be there?' Riko groaned as the memories of that night came to her again.
As she walked, she saw Tsuki and Yoshiko talking to each, the redhead moved as quick as she could so they wouldn't notice her, she'd been avoiding Yo's cousin as well as Yo herself the past two weeks, she didn't want to face Tsuki's wrath for trying to take advantage of Yo with a love potion.
'What was I even thinking, what the hell was I going to do?' Riko thought as entered another hallway feeling like she was walking to the gallows 'I got so giddy at the idea of having her kiss me I didn't even think if I should do it or not, she deserves to hate me.'
Eventually Riko reached the potions room door, she took a deep breath before knocking on the door gently "Come in!" came Mari's voice through the door.
Riko turned the handle and entered the room, Riko saw Mari smile as she walked through the door "You wanted to see me professor?" Riko said quietly, she had a feeling why she was being called into the room.
"Yes, I did." Mari said with a smile as she walked up to her "I take it you know why you're here."
"I have an idea." Riko said quietly as her shoulders shrank a little.
Mari gave the redhead a smile before holding out her hand "Before we continue, I'm going to need your wand."
"Why?"
"Because I seem to remember the last time you were here, you ran out of here faster than a whippet, I don't wish a repeat."
"That was just a panic reaction."
"Even so, just to be sure." Mari said her hand still held out.
Riko sighed and pulled her wand out of her pocket before handing it over, the blonde took the wand gently "Ok, well I think we should carry this on in my office, shall we?" Mari said gesturing to the familiar door.
'Why did it have to be in there?' Riko groaned internally as she followed Mari to the door 'The universe must be punishing me to.'
Mari stopped and opened the door to let Riko go through first, the redhead bowed her head before entering, once she was past the door she turned and saw Mari standing in the doorway the next thing she knew something ran into her and tackle her to the ground.
Riko landed on her back with something laying on top of her and a pair of arms holding her tight and a set of legs crushing her torso, as she looked down, she saw ashen grey hair resting on her chest "Riko." Came a familiar muffled voice and the redhead was sure she heard a tremble to the voice.
"Yo?" Riko shouted surprised, before she noticed that the ashen girl was trembling, Yo responded by burying her face deeper into Riko's chest and tightening her hold 'Her arms and legs are really muscular yet so soft…Wait, no, now's not the time for that.' Riko thought to herself even though she did blush at her thoughts.
"You two need to have a talk, none of this avoiding each other to the point of tears." Mari said from the doorway, as if the reinforce her point Yo let out a sob.
"Well that's my que to leave, the pair of you need to have a long talk, you can both stay here tonight as I'll be staying somewhere else tonight." Mari said with a smile as she grabbed the door handle "And don't worry Riko, I'll put your wand back in your room for you, Ciao!"
Before Riko could say anything, Mari shut the door and the redhead could hear the door locking, leaving Riko and Yo stuck inside the room, Riko's gaze was brought back to Yo who hadn't moved but her shaking was getting more prominent, then she noticed that her shirt was wet were Yo's face was located.
'Oh Yo, what have I done?' Riko mused to herself.
Riko was about to touch Yo's shoulder but withdrew her hand, guilt rising to the surface that she'd made Yo, the girl she loved cry 'Great job Riko, you really screwed this up.'
"Yo…"
"I'm not letting go!" the ashen girl shouted though her face was still muffed by Riko's shirt "You'll run again." Yo said this time sounding tiny and broken and the ashen girl squeezed Riko tighter.
'I guess I don't really have the right to ask anything of Yo right now.' Riko sighed in her head before Yo spoke again.
"Do you hate me?" Yo asked quietly.
"What no, why would you think I hate you?" Riko said surprised, that was the last thing she was expecting Yo to say.
"Because I didn't stop you," Yo said with a sniff "I know you were acting under the potion but I didn't exactly stop you, that's why I thought you ran, because I thought you hated me for not stopping you."
"Yo, I could never hate you, never."
"Then why did you run away?" Yo asked quietly.
"Because I never meant for my feelings to come out, especially like that, or to you, I panicked, I was sure you were going to hate me, especially after what I did to you, straddling you and forcing myself on you and I didn't want to see or hear you angry at me, the idea of it hurt too much, so I ran, I can't even look at you without feeling guilty and ashamed."
"Then why did you want to make the potion, one of us would have to have tired it so what was the idea then?"
"I was going to make you to try it."
"But you said you didn't want me to know how you felt, that doesn't make any sense." Yo said anger creeping into her voice "What were you going to do after I took the potion?"
"I don't know, I honestly didn't plan that far." Riko groaned "I'm sorry Yo, I don't know what I was thinking."
"Then why do it in the first place?"
"Because I couldn't take it anymore." Riko said quietly resting her head on the floor and looking up at the ceiling "Those girls I said that keep fawning over you, they were getting more persistent that day and my jealousy was reaching a boiling point and then when Mari said you needed help with the love potion in class, I just snapped I guess, I wanted a taste of the forbidden fruit I couldn't have." Riko let out a sigh as she felt a tear prick at her eye "It was a moments weakness, that I doubled down on and I know I shouldn't have done it, I'm sorry Yo, for everything and I'll understand if you hate me and never want to see me again."
Riko felt her heart breaking at the end, but she meant it, if Yo never wanted to talk to her again she'd understand and leave her alone, even if it killed her to do it.
Riko felt Yo lift her head off her chest, making Riko's heart ache at the lost contact especially as the redhead thought this was going to be the last time she would speak to the ashen girl, Yo moved so she was looking down at the redhead and Riko looked down unable to look into Yo's blue eyes, even though she wanted to, if only to get one last look at them before Yo ostracized her.
"I don't hate you Riko." Yo whispered, her voice a little rough.
Riko glanced upwards slightly "You don't?" Riko asked with a sense of trepidation.
"No, I don't." Yo said with a smile before cupping Riko's cheek making the redheads heart flutter "I love you."
Riko felt her heart skipped a beat at the words not quite able to believe her ears 'Why would someone as amazing as Yo love me of all people, she must be just trying to make me feel better.'
"You don't have to lie to make me feel better Yo, I know you don't love me." Riko sighed
"I do though."
"I see you all the time with Yoshiko or those girls that horde you, they are way better than me, smarter, funnier, prettier, why would you love me of all people when you can have the pick of any of those girls." Riko said as her heart twisted into pretzel.
"They aren't prettier, or smarter than you Riko…"
"Yes, they are, look you're not obligated to make me feel better about myself, if we stay as friends, I'm fine with that." Riko said, even though she knew it was a lie, she wanted more but it was beyond her reach.
Riko heard Yo sigh before she felt the ashen girl shift so she was sitting upright on the redhead's lap, Riko saw Yo take a tiny vile out her pocket, confused the redhead sat up slightly "What's that?"
"The potion we made, Mari told me to remake it, without it going everywhere that is."
"Why did she tell you to remake it?"
"For this situation." Yo said as she took the topper off.
"Yo, trust me having me take it isn't going to…" Riko stopped when she saw Yo put the vile to her own lips and throw her head back drinking the potion inside herself "Why would you drink yourself?" Riko said once the vile was gone from Yo's lips and the topper back on the vile.
"So you'll believe me when I say I love you Riko." Yo said with a smile as her eyes started to glaze over slightly before leaning forward and forcing Riko back down to the floor slightly.
"I really truly love you Riko, from the bottom of my heart." Yo whispered as she cupped Riko's chin forcing the redhead to look Yo in the eyes.
Riko was stunned silent 'Yo loves me, she really loves, this has to be a dream.' Riko screamed in her head before asking, "But why…?"
"Because you're so mesmerising to me, I told you before you look so graceful when your casing spells, you look like an angel and it puts me in a trance, my whole world shrinks to you and you alone, I can never take my eyes off you, even when you're not casting spells, the way you walk and smile are so enchanting they are their own kind of magic and your eyes are so perfect, they can melt my heart with but a glance."
Riko felt her mouth dry up and she was sure her heart had just exited her body stage left at Yo's words and as a final act her heart had pumped enough blood to her cheeks to turn them warmer than the sun 'Is this what Yo felt like when I was under the potion?' Riko wondered as Yo continued.
"I often think a god made you, you're so perfect."
"Yo…" Riko groaned, the redhead was sure her heart stopped right there "I can't tell if this is a dream or not."
"Let me answer that for you." Yo whispered before leaning down and claiming Riko's lips with her own.
Riko felt her brain short-circuit before her eyes drifted closed and she returned the kiss, her heart and brain melting into puddles as she wrapped her arms around Yo's waist.
She'd dreamt of kissing Yo before and since the incident, but no matter how hard her mind worked it was never as good as the real kiss, it never had the smell of the ocean that Yo had, the slight taste of salt on the ashen girl's lips, or perfect and soft touch of Yo's lips that felt like the softest clouds.
All too soon for Riko's liking the kiss ended and Yo sat up "Does that answer your question?"
Riko's voice was stuck in her throat so she merely nodded in response as she tried to catch her breath.
"Aw, you look so cute with that blush Riko." Yo smiled.
"Yo!" Riko said covering her face with embarrassment "Don't say things like that."
"Why not, it's true."
"Maybe, but its not good for my heart." Riko said rubbing her hands over her heart which she was sure was about to stall, Riko's concern for her heart was paused when Yo leaned forward and kissed her again Riko melted into the kiss her mind in a state of bliss 'This was so much better when not under the potion.'
Yo broke the kiss and Riko whined at its ending kicking her foot on the floor slightly, then Riko looked up and she thought Yo was about to throw up a second as she looked pale, the ashen girl put a hand down next to her head to steady herself and Riko could see the glazed overlook disappear "Urgh, I'm glad I only had a small amount, that potion gives a real kick when it's done." Yo groaned.
"Yeah, I felt the same to, I even threw up a little way down the corridor when I ran out the room honestly." Riko admitted, the pair giggled at the story before Riko brushed a stray hair behind Yo's ear and Riko smiled when she saw Yo blush slightly. Riko tried to think but her mind was stuck on the fact Yo was kabedoning her.
"Yo?" Riko asked quietly, nervous about what she was about to ask.
"Yes?"
"Erm…could I…kiss you again?" Riko asked quietly, the room was quiet a moment save for the fire burning in the background before Yo nodded and the pair closed the distance again sharing their first kiss they had were neither of them had the potion doing affecting them.
Riko wrapped her arms around Yo's waist, while the ashen girl cupped Riko's cheek and tried to deepen the kiss, the pair kept the kiss going till the need for air forced them apart, Yo's blue eyes met Riko's golden ones and the pair smiled at each other.
"I love you Riko." Yo whispered.
"I love you to Yo." Riko whispered, back before sighing with relief "I guess I can tell my parents to stop trying to get me a suiter now."
Riko suddenly saw Yo's eyes flash with worry and the ashen girls smile drop "Argh, I can't believe I forgot about that!"
"What, Yo what's wrong?" Riko asked confused and concerned.
"Mari said your parents were trying to pick a suiter for you and they might not be happy about this." Yo said in a panicked tone.
Riko reached up and cupped Yo's cheeks "Yo, calm down and listen to me." Riko said firmly, Yo nodded "Yes, my parents are trying to get me a suiter, but its only because of my grandparents."
"Grandparents?"
"Yes, see my cousin Maki's girlfriend Nico isn't someone that my grandparents like, they think she's too common and so they've been pressuring my parents to not let it happen with me."
"Why?"
"My grandparents are very obsessed with image, it's really annoying." Riko sighed "Don't worry, my parents don't care who I date and I'm sure they will love you, not quite as much as me though."
Yo giggled slightly before sighing "What about your Grandparents?"
"We'll sort something out." Riko smiled stroking Yo's cheeks with her thumbs "Now, I have something to ask you, will you be my girlfriend."
"Yes, I'd love to." Yo smile before leaning forward and kissing the redhead, Riko returned the kiss before undoing the top button of Yo's shirt, Yo pulled back slightly and Riko was worried she'd gone too far, but Yo smiled and leaned into kiss Riko again.
(Kanan's Room)
"Do you think they are ok?" Kanan asked as she sat on the bed.
"They'll be fine." Mari hugged the blunette from behind "They are likely doing something like this…" Mari said before Kanan felt a pair of hands on her chest "…Right now."
"I'm going to break you!" Kanan growled.
"Maybe that what I want." Mari purred in response.
"Be careful what you wish for!" Kanan said before turning around and forcing Mari back onto the bed.
