"You've reached the master of the universe. How may I help you?"

Castiel looked at his phone, making sure he typed in the correct number before putting it back to his ear. "Really, Gabriel?"

"Who is this Gabriel you speak of. Is he handsome?"

"Lucifer did tell me you wanted to talk to me, but I suppose he was wrong. Goodbye."

"No, Cassie, come back. I'm sorry. I really wanted to talk to you. It's been so long, baby bro."

"It's been two weeks," Cas sighed.

"That's too long. I need weekly updates from you."

"I don't understand."

Gabriel sighs. "You have a baby on the way. I want to know everything. How you're feeling, what are your symptoms, what candy does the pup crave, are you eating enough, if you want candy. That type of thing."

"I don't need candy, Gabe."

"Nonsense, of course, you do. I don't know why you let mom and dad convince you otherwise."

"Right...," Cas muttered into the speaker.

"What was that about?" Gabe asked.

"What do you mean?"

"You sounded weird when I mentioned mom and dad. What was that about."

"No-nothing. I don't know what you're talking about."

"Cassie, is there something you need to tell me?"

"No..."

"Okay then. I suppose I'll just have to call Lucifer then and figure everything out. Talk to you later, baby bro."

"Fine," Cas grounded out, knowing that if Gabe called Lucifer, he would be on the next flight in. Maybe he would be able to calm the beta down. "So you know Lucifer's job, right?"

"Yes, Cassie, I know he's a detective. Not much news there."

"And you know that Dean also is a detective?"

"Ah, yes, the illustrious Dean that stole your innocence from you. No, I can't say that I did."

Cas continued, ignoring his brother's antics. "Well, their current case involves our parents."

A stark silence came from over the other end of the phone. Cas pulled it away from his ear to make sure the call hadn't disconnected. It hadn't.

"Gabe, are you there?"

"I'm sorry, Cassie, I thought you said that our parents were involved in a murder investigation, but I know I had to mishear you."

"No, you heard me correctly."

"Isn't this the case that they've been working on forever? Why am I just hearing about it?"

"It never came up," Cas trying to explain.

"It never came up? This isn't something that you wait for an opening to talk about. You just pick up the phone and go, 'hey, Gabe. By the way, our parents are murderers.'"

"I'm pretty sure that you're not supposed to know."

"Then why do you know, Cassie? I've seen TV. Cops aren't supposed to talk about ongoing cases."

"Well..."

"You were hurt, weren't you," Gabe said. "You were hurt, and no one told me about it. Tell Luci that's he an asshole for keeping this away from me. I'm hopping on a plane now."

The sound on the other end was muffled as Gabe took the phone away from his mouth. "Kali! I need to go out to Kansas."

"Gabe, please don't," Cas yelled into the phone.

"Why are you going to Kansas out of nowhere?" Cas heard a soft tone coming from the phone. "What's in Kansas?"

"Cassie is. I need to go to him."

"Just because he's pregnant doesn't mean you have to be there every single step of the way. I know that you've been trying to create goody bags to send to him every week."

"But Kali, you don't understand."

"Uh-huh, hand me the phone."

"But..."

"Hello?" the female's no-nonsense voice came through the phone.

"Hi, Kali," Cas answered meekly.

Kali's voice softened as she realized that the more sensible brother was on the phone. "Hi, sweetie. Why is Gabe trying to go down there?"

"Well, he found some information out. I'm sure he'll tell you about it later. I was trying to tell him that him coming down here was pointless."

"You mean you were trying to get Gabe to do something reasonable. You should have known that it was a pointless endeavor."

"I know, but do tell him that it wouldn't help things if he showed up here."

"Alright, I'll stop him from going to the airport... for now. I'll make a decision after I hear the entire story."

"Thank you, Kali."

"No problem, sweetheart. Here's Gabe back."

Cas heard shuffling on the other end phone, with some back and forth conversation he couldn't understand before Gabe was back on the phone.

"Cassie, what do you mean I shouldn't go there?"

"You shouldn't. You are loud and impulsive. You might ruin everything."

"But that's the best part about me."

"Everything needs to stay quiet if..."

Gabe gave an annoyed sigh. "Fine, but don't think you get out of this. I'm sending you all the candy I can, and you're going to eat it."

"Gabe, I don't need..."

"And you're going to call me every day so that I know that you're okay."

"Can I text you..."

"Also, I'm going to need all the photos from your belly. Those are my demands, or I'm showing up."

Cas closed his eyes and grabbed his nose. "Okay. You can send candy, no promises that I am going to be the one to eat them. I am not going to call you every day; we can text. Lastly, I go to the doctor's next week. I'll ask for a sonogram picture just for you. Is that alright?"

"I'm still mad at you," Gabe pouted through the phone. "Am I the last to know?"

"Well..., no," Cas admitted. "Micheal doesn't know."

"Wait, I know something before Mikey? Score."

"He's the only one that still talks to our parents, you know."

"Right, because he was the only one with a stick up his ass and refused to do what he wanted with life. He let them and is still letting them ruin his life. I would feel back if he wasn't such as douche. Wait. You don't think he's involved, do you?"

"There's no evidence of that."

"If you say so, but if you find out more information, I want to know. I can't have my baby brother in trouble. You're too precious for this world."

"Gabe..."

"Well, farewell for now. Just know, I will show up if you don't keep up with my demands."

"I know you will. Bye, Gabe."

Cas hung up the phone and laid back on the bed he was sitting on.

"What was that last part of that about?" Dean asked, coming out of the bathroom room from brushing his teeth.

"Gabe threatening to show up here."

"Should we be worried?"

"Kali is trying to convince him that it's a bad idea, but he says that he will be sending lots of candy to us. We should probably hide it from Sam, so he doesn't get cavities."

"Sam doesn't really ask for candy. I'll think we'll be fine."

"He does not ask for any because Lucifer sneaks him some."

"What?" Dean asked, alarmed, wondering how much candy the pup had been eating behind their backs.

"I know he gets Sam the sugar-free candies, but still. If he gets his hands on real candy, we may never be able to stop him.

"It sounded that there was more to it."

"Gabe just wants some form of communication every day and any pictures of the pup. Also, plan to get weird phone calls from Gabe."

"Did he tell you that?" Dean asked worriedly.

"No, I just know him. He's just as protective as Lucifer. Instead of threatening to kill you, he'll just annoy you to death. See it as payback for not keeping him in the loop.

"Now, tell me more about Lucifer being sent home. He sounded a bit excited about it, honestly."

"Well, I'm sure he told you about the raid we conducted after talking to those two guys. When we went in, we found lots of omegas, and we were luckily able to get all of the players there. From phone logs, Charlie determined they didn't get a call out.

"Those that needed the medical attention are at the hospital under assumed identities. Those that didn't, we questioned at the station. We first interrogated the players in another part of the precinct before continuing to interview the omegas. And there were a lot of them.

"None of them wanted to talk to Lucifer, which didn't surprise anyone, given what they'd been through. According to Amara, they never found an operation fully intact. Usually, by the time they can get in, it's all been shut down and any evidence destroyed. She focused on reading the documents we secured, but she seemed really excited when talking to whoever was on the phone. She couldn't stop smiling."

"So, it's almost over?" Cas rushed out.

"I doubt it would be much longer," Dean responded. "It depends on what the prosecutor thinks. If this is really all the information we need, I assume the arrest warrant will be sent out soon. Just need to make sure it's airtight, so they don't get let out on a technicality. From what Donna's been telling us, they're desperate to get them away for anything and everything they can."

Cas gave a deep sigh of relief. Everything was going the way it should. He was brought out of his thoughts by his phone vibrating. He picked it up and read the text message that had come through.

Kali says that you're right. It would probably be best if I didn't show up. :(

But remember my demands! I will be waiting for any information!

Cas sighed before typing out a reply.

Good night, Gabe.
