![]() Author has written 4 stories for H2O: Just Add Water, Harry Potter, and Sherlock. Hello there! Here is some information about me! Name: Now, why would I tell you that? Age: You should never ask a lady her age! But I happen to be 19, and enjoying every minute of it! Mental Location: Somewhere between the desert of reality and the cliffs of insanity. Physical Location: School Geographical Location: classified Interests: Reading, sewing, knitting, writing, Irish Dance, Biology (specifically Cellular/Molecular and Genetics, but all Biological Sciences are cool!), playing the flute, and doing other, stufftastic, stuff. Things I can write about: Harry Potter, H2O, Switched at Birth, most Disney movies, Sailor Moon (before Stars; I've seen the season, I'm just not very comfortable with my understanding of it), Star Wars, Doctor Who (I get the premise, and have seen a few episodes, but most of my information is from my sister), Percy Jackson, Inheritance Cycle, Avengers (I'm more comfortable reading that, though), and the usual books everyone has to read in High School. I've read other things, and enjoy some fan fictions with those things, I just can't write it, because I am not so confident in my ability to know all the information. Harry and Lupin's conversation: If you got the joke and found it extremely funny, copy and paste this onto your profile! Harry: Are you really a werewolf? Lupin: Yes Harry. Harry: Are you fucking serious?! Lupin: All the time. Harry: O-o What? Lupin: what? Harry: ... “The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice-versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant." “When you’re a kid, they tell you it’s all… Grow up, get a job, get married, get a house, have a kid, and that’s it. But the truth is, the world is so much stranger than that. It’s so much darker. And so much madder. And so much better.” “The universe is big. It’s vast and complicated and ridiculous. And sometimes, very rarely, impossible things just happen and we call them miracles.” "It is a strange thing, but when you are dreading something, and would give anything to slow down time, it has a disobliging habit of speeding up." "There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so." "Great men are forged in fire. It is the privilege of lesser men to light the flame, whatever the cost.” "There is no good and evil, there is only power, and those too weak to seek it." "I don't suffer from my insanity. I enjoy every minute of it." "Pain and loss, they define us as much as happiness or love. Whether it's a world, or a relationship...everything has its time. And everything ends." "You know when sometimes you meet someone so beautiful and then you actually talk to them and five minutes later they're as dull as a brick? Then there's other people, when you meet them you think, 'Not bad. They're okay.' And then you get to know them and... and their face just sort of becomes them. Like their personality's written all over it. And they just turn into something so beautiful." "It does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live, remember that." "Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them." "Oh, what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive." "Age is foolish and forgetful when it underestimates youth." "Indifference and neglect often do much more damage than outright dislike." "Things we lose have a way of coming back to us in the end, if not always in the way we expect." [Regarding Hogwarts food] "I hope they have pudding." "If it's just you alone, you're not as much of a threat." "You're just as sane as I am." "Oh, no, I’d love to go with you as friends! Nobody’s ever asked me to a party before, as a friend! Is that why you dyed your eyebrow, for the party? Should I do mine too?" Plot holes in Harry Potter: Where did Voldemort's wand go after he tried to kill Harry? Harry obviously won that "duel", so shouldn't he be master of Voldemort's wand? Why did Severus tell Voldemort part of the prophecy? Obviously, most of the people he went to school with were just getting married, and settling in to have children, so chances were good that the prophecy applied to the child of one of his schoolmates. Why did Dumbledore allow so many incompetents to teach? I would end the subject, or rename it something else, like "Defensive Magic", if the position were really cursed. Why was Luna's mother practicing volatile magic with her in the same room? Why did no one notice all that was going on at Hogwarts? How is a magical contract binding if Harry wasn't aware his name was entered into the Goblet? How can an AK destroy a Horcrux within Harry, but not any of the others? These and other questions are good ones to contemplate on a stormy night. If I come up with reasons, I'll write them on here. 9/14/14: Updates on all my stories will take place once I get out of my writing slump. I may post one-shots for now, but I'm really just waiting until I am inspired enough to complete something. Currently on my hard drive, I have multiple Harry Potter crossovers, a couple more things from H2O, and a couple of "normal" Harry Potter stories, although many of the elements I include are really derived subconsciously from multiple sources. I have several ideas on my laptop right now; some are ideas taken from my RL combining with the things I read on here, and suddenly thought "what if this happened?" I'm hoping to finish something before posting it, now, as it seems, whenever I post something, I soon lose interest. College has started again, and with it comes new assignments. You know, plays to meet, people to hear, and lectures to see... Or something like that... So it might be a while before I update or post anything (although if I procrastinate on something to get something written, I guess it'll be sooner rather than later). Update: I am abroad for Fall '15. I may get time to write, but, like it has been for almost the entire last year, I probably won't be able to post! Rest in peace, little Stellalunette (my little loony, loopy Luna!). Miss you lots, little furball... |
