Consequence

Lelouch, Kallen, and Shirley were walking and headed back to the Kisuke's shop. When they got there, they were greeted by their group along with Kisuke, Tessai, and Yoruichi. Euphie and Naoto rushed over to them and were glad to see them alright. Euphie then grilled her brother for rushing on their own. Lelouch sighed reminded that Kallen and Shirley had already lectured him for going off on his own. Lelouch gathered with everyone in the shop and explained what occurred.

"Wait, Isshin?" Gino said.

"Yes, apparently the Soul Society had gotten reports that Shinigami assigned in Naruki City were being killed off," Lelouch said.

"So I suppose that it got so bad that they sent Isshin to investigate," Euphie assumed.

"Uh no," Lelouch said as he was a bit amused, "the thing is Isshin went on his own and check things out himself."

"Wait, you're saying he didn't get permission?" Xingke asked.

"Correct," Lelouch said, "Isshin wanted to check it out as he was concern."

"Hmm, well hopefully he didn't get reprimanded too harshly for this," Shirley said, "especially from the Captain-Commander himself."

"Can't say," Lelouch said, "although the source was a Hollow."

"A Hollow?" Urabe asked, "It must have been a real strong one if it even gave you and Isshin a hard time."

"That's the thing," Lelouch said with a frown, "this Hollow was actually created."

The others were shocked to hear what Lelouch said.

"Created?" Yoshida asked.

"Lelouch, are you certain about this?" Clovis asked.

"Yes and in fact, I saw who was behind this," Lelouch said with a frown, "five people were hiding in plain sight."

"It was Aizen, wasn't it?" Kisuke deduced.

The others were surprised again and they looked at Kisuke and then back to Lelouch who nodded.

"Yeah, Sosuke was behind this," Lelouch said with disdain, "him and his loyal followers. They even went as far to show up using the very cloaks that you created."

"Hmm, no surprised there unfortunately," Kisuke said, "I suspected as much that he was doing experiments when it came to Hollows."

"What the hell is Sosuke is trying to achieve performing experiments using Hollows?" Naoto asked.

"Don't know but that Hollow felt as though it was a Shinigami," Lelouch said, "if I was to guess, I would say that Hollow that they made was based off a Shinigami."

The others in the group were shocked and disturbed at the very idea.

"Damn," Gino said, "this guy is twisted."

"Indeed, just what is that man trying to accomplish?" Todoh asked, "Why is Kusakabe so willing to follow this man?"

The others had their thoughts and were not sure what to make of Sosuke Aizen and his goals.

"Anyway Lelouch, about Isshin…" Anya spoke, "Is it going to be alright with him knowing about us?"

"Don't worry," Lelouch assured, "Isshin won't report to them about us."

"Can you be sure about Lelouch?" Chiba asked.

"I can," Lelouch assured again with a nod, "Isshin promised not to say anything about us and I trust him on that."

"Okay, then it's fine," Euphie said with smile.

"Yep I agree," Gino said pleased.

"Then it's all right," Anya said with a nod.

"Are you all sure about this?" Asahina asked.

"It's Isshin so it will be fine," Anya said with a smile, "He is not one who breaks his promises."

"Hmm, such faith for your former subordinate," Senba said.

"I would that's how it is when it comes to members of the 10th Division," Shirley said happily.

"Yeah, I would agree," Kallen said with a smile.

Seireitei, Soul Society

In the Captain Meeting Hall within the First Division Barracks, Isshin was giving his report with the other Gotei 13 Captains including the Captain-Commander.

"…with this, that concludes the end of my report," Isshin said.

"I see," Yamamoto said, "you did go out without permission but thanks to your swift action, the deaths were kept in a minimum and the Human World didn't suffer too much damage. In other words, I will overlook your violation of the rules this time."

"Great! I mean…" Isshin responded excitedly but then composed himself and bowed to Yamamoto, "I mean thank you very much sir."

"Hah, I still think it's a big crime not succeeding in recovering the body of that mysterious Hollow," Kurotsuchi commented.

"By the way," Yamamoto said, "you only reported that something strange happened to the Hollow. Aren't you leaving something out?"

Isshin looked at Yamamoto and recalled seeing Lelouch again and meeting the Quincy girl named Masaki.

Flashback: Karakura Town, Human World

"Isshin, I must ask you to not tell them about us," Lelouch requested.

"Um may I ask why Cap-, uh I mean Lelouch," Isshin replied.

Lelouch nodded, "Things are happening behind the scene in the Soul Society and traitors within the Seireitei and..."

Flashback End

"Is there nothing else you want to report?" Yamamoto asked.

"Yes, there is nothing else," Isshin replied.

Karakura Town, Human World

Masaki was sitting in her classroom in her high school looking out of the window. Her teacher was lecturing but all Masaki could think about was the events that happened last night when she got involved in a situation with a Hollow and two Shinigami. In particular, she was thinking about one of the Shinigami that had a haori over his Shihakusho when he shielded her and when she healed him being grateful for what he did.

"I wonder if he was able to return to the Soul Society," Masaki spoke in her head, "I wonder if someone got angry at him," Masaki sighed, "I heard that his name is Isshin from that other guy. He was clearly a Shinigami as well but it seems that he in some kind of shell."

"You're actually a Quincy, aren't you," Lelouch said.

"They seem to know each other," Masaki deduced in her head, "they must be friends."

Seireitei, Soul Society

Isshin was relaxing on the veranda of the 10th Division Barracks looking at the sky and all he could think about was the Quincy girl that helped him and Lelouch.

"So it's true that there are still Quincies that are still alive," Isshin said in his head, "Masaki Kurosaki, she's the girl that saved a Shinigami like me despite being a Quincy. She's really brave. She was really something. I should have asked her more. Maybe I can meet her again and thank her properly."

"That was quite bold of you going on your own Captain," A male voice said.

"Oh Hideyasu," Isshin said as he turned to see Hideyasu.

"I heard you solve the problem that was happening in Naruki City," Hideyasu said.

"Yeah, it was quite an ordeal," Isshin said, "Oh while you're here Hideyasu," Isshin looked at Hideyasu with a grin, "I got a little souvenir for you."

"A souvenir?" Hideyasu asked, "Sir, what the hell are you doing getting something when you just got lucky of not being punished for going on your own."

"I know but trust me," Isshin said as he pulled a small stack of flashcards, "it's something from 'The Black Prince'.

Hideyasu was wide eyed and he looked at Isshin who had a serious express. Hideyasu took the flashcards and was about to look through.

"Just take them to your room," Isshin said and he grinned, "You wouldn't want someone to see it and it causes to get into a fight, oh and make sure you get Emi, Ohana, Takumi, and Saito involved. I'm sure they would want to see it as well. I know they're fans of it as well."

"Oh uh right," Hideyasu said with a nod, "good point."

Hideyasu left to head to his room and Isshin sighed and looked up in the sky.

"Now about that girl…" Isshin said.

Hideyasu was in his room and he looked over the flashcards and reading what seemed to be random words. Takumi, Ohana, Emi, and Takumi were there as well and they looked at the flashcards. They started to look at them and with the words and characters on the cards and they started to put them together.

"Here we have 'ke'" Hideyasu said.

"Sei," Saito said.

"Oh this 'Nin' here," Ohana said.

"Kai here," Emi said.

"I have san," Emi said, "and jikan."

The five members of the 10th Division started to put the pieces together and they were surprised in what they saw and it was a message from someone who was gone for years and they were filled with emotions when got who it was from.

"It really is him," Takumi said.

"They're okay," Saito said, "all of them."

"Thank goodness," Emi said happily.

Ohana closed her mouth feeling relieved.

"Captain Kenjima," Hideyasu said.

Karakura Town, Human World

School was over and Masaki was walking with her friends.

"Masaki, are you fine?" One of her friends asked, "You live in the same house as Ishida-senpai. Everyday must be exciting."

"We're cousins you know," Masaki pointed out, "there's nothing between us."

"That's true," Another of Masaki's classmates said, "even if you weren't cousins, you're not that type."

"You really get me Shiho," Masaki replied, "though I don't know why you have to make that comparison."

"How do you know?" The other classmate asked, "even if he were my cousin, I would still get horny."

"You're so dirty Kanan," Masaki replied and then she turned to Shiho, "Shiho, scold her for having such a dirty mind."

Masaki suddenly felt faint as she walked by someone. Masaki recovered and looked at the person.

"Ah I'm sorry," Masaki said.

"No, no, it's fine," The person assured, "Are you okay?"

"Uh yes I'm fine," Masaki said with a nod, "thank you."

Masaki rushed over to her friends.

"Masaki, are you okay?" Kanan asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine," Masaki said.

The person was actually Kisuke and he looked on seeing Masaki and he already knew what was happening to her when he felt the change from her.

"That girl…" A male voice said.

Someone came and stood next to him and it was Naoto.

"Is that her?" Naoto asked.

"Most likely," Kisuke said, "and from what I sensed from her, she's not doing well."

Unknown Realm

Amatsuki returned to his base and he walked.

"Quite the event that occurred yesterday," Amatsuki said and then he frowned, "unfortunately Rolo is dead and I know that Madd is still in the Seireitei. He seems to be in a lab in the Seireitei. Now the other thing, a Hollow created from a dead Shinigami and the appearance of a Quincy," Amatsuki smiled, "Now what do you plan to do Arturo Plateado?"

Amatsuki opened the door and there he was in a room with huge cylinders filled with his creations inside.

"There is much I want to examine with subjects in the Human World and back in the Soul Society," Amatsuki said, "but for now though…"

Seireitei, Soul Society

In the 10th Division Barracks, Rangiku was feeling cheery and was looking for Isshin as she was holding a stack of papers.

"Captain! Captain!" Rangiku called out, "I have to the Dango Shop for a sudden mission. Can I ask you do this?"

Rangiku saw something and it was note from Isshin and it was read, 'To Rangiku, I'm going to the Human World. Come up with some excuse to tell the Captain-Commander.'

Rangiku was shocked and was livid.

"What the hell?!" Rangiku yelled angrily.

Toshiro looked seeing Rangiku raising hell. Hideyasu, Saito, Emi, Takumi, and Ohana came back and saw Rangiku angry.

"Hey, what's going on?" Emi asked.

"Hey Toshiro, what's wrong with the lieutenant?" Takumi said.

"It seems our captain has done it again," Toshiro said.

"Huh, what is it about Captain Shiba?" Hideyasu asked.

"Just because he wasn't punished once, he now thinks he can just visit the Human World whenever the hell he wants!" Rangiku ranted, "He never really learns!" Rangiku took Isshin's note, crumbled it, and threw it, "How can he take his job so lightly?!"

"You say that…" Toshiro spoke.

The five other people were concerned and wondered why their captain went to the Human World after being there just the day before.

Karakura Town, Human World

Masaki arrived back in the Ishida Manor.

"I'm home!" Masaki said.

Ryuken was on the second floor and saw Masaki,

"Ah Masaki," Ryuken said, "welcome back."

"Masaki!" Yui called.

Masaki and Ryuken flinched at the loud voice of Yui and they turned their attention to the Ishida matriarch.

"Ah hi Aunt Yui," Masaki greeted with a smile, "I just came back."

"We need to talk," Yui said sternly.

"Huh?" Masaki replied confused.

"The other day, you saved a Shinigami and fought against a Hollow, didn't you?" Yui said.

Masaki and Ryuken were shocked.

"Uh, n-no, I have done nothing of the sort," Masaki replied.

"I have proof," Yui said upset, "you're only making yourself look worse by lying."

Ryuken was wide eyed and rushed to the side as he knew how his mother found out and he was upset.

"Why didn't you say anything?" Yui asked angrily, "Moreover, why did you go in the first place?" Yui grabbed Masaki's wrist, "Don't you find it shameful? You dare break the rule of the Quincy while being nurtured by the Ishida Family!"

Back on the second floor of the manor, Ryuken found Kanae and confronted her.

"Kanae!" Ryuken spoke loudly as he grabbed her wristed and pinned her to a wall, "Why did you tell my mother?! I told you last night that there was no issue and yet you went behind my back and did this!"

"But there was an issue!" Kanae responded, "I'm sorry Young Master but I can't ignore the problem!"

"What, what do you mean?" Ryuken asked surprised.

"Lady Masaki was wounded by that Hollow's attack!" Kanae pointed out, "If she isn't cured by the Masters with the original Quincy Procedure, then the future Quincy Blood of the Ishida Family might get spoiled."

"That's why you did this?" Ryuken asked upset, "For such a mere reason?"

"A mere reason?" Kanae replied as she shocked in how her young master responded, "Isn't that everything?" Young Master, you said it yourself that the marriage with Lady Masaki would be for the future of the Quincies!"

Ryuken couldn't believe that Kanae was willing to so far and saw the look on the young maid's face showing that she was not backing down.

"Damn it!" Ryuken said as he rushed out and got to the rail, "Wait Mother!"

Yui and Masaki responded looking at Ryuken.

"Ryu," Masaki said.

"Ryuken, what is it?" Yui asked.

"Masaki isn't responsible for this," Ryuken said, "Masaki was—"

"It's okay," Masaki interjected trying to assure him, "I'm the one that—"

Masaki didn't get to finish what she was saying because suddenly fainted and fell on the floor which surprised Ryuken and Yui.

"Masaki!" Ryuken spoke loudly as he rushed over to her.

"Masaki?" Yui spoke confused.

Ryuken got to Masaki and turned her over.

"Masaki, what's wrong?" Ryuken asked worried, "Do you feel sick?"

When Ryuken turned Masaki over, he and Yui were shocked in what they saw. What they saw was a hole forming just below Masaki's neck.

"Is this…?" Ryuken spoke.

"What is this?" Yui asked, "A Hollow hole?"

Ryuken picked up Masaki in a bridal carry and Yui was surprised in what her son was doing.

"What are you planning to do Ryuken?" Yui asked.

"Mother, do you know where Father is?" Ryuken asked.

"I don't know," Yui answered, "I'm trying to get in touch with him."

"I see," Ryuken said.

Ryuken suddenly rushed out of the manor much to his mother's shock.

"Ryuken, stop!" Yui called out as she was panicking with what her son was doing, "If you stay with that thing, you could be in danger too!" Yui rushed out of the manor and was worried, "Stop Ryuken! Come back! Come here! Please come back to me! Ryuken!"

Her calls were met with silence and she fell on the ground wondering why this was happening and couldn't understand why her son was not listening to her. Yui was scared that something would happen to her child. Meanwhile Ryuken was running carrying Masaki and a lot of things were going through his mind. He couldn't understand why something horrible was happening to Masaki. He couldn't understand why she was suffering. Ryuken questioned himself as to why he didn't stop her the night before or why he didn't join her in the fight against that black Hollow. Ryuken was such thoughts as he was scared for Masaki that a Hollow just got close to him and Masaki opening its mouth. Ryuken was shocked as he didn't noticed the Hollow's presence and how it was about to consume him and Masaki. However it the last minute, the Hollow was slashed in half. Ryuken was shocked as the Hollow was eliminated.

"Well that was close," A male voice said, "That was bad you know."

Ryuken turned and sure enough it was the Shinigami that he saw last night.

"No need to thank me," Isshin said with a grin, "I don't want to be thanked by squalid men."

"You…" Ryuken said looking at Isshin.

"Hmm, what?" Isshin said and then he noticed Masaki that Ryuken was holding and saw that his savior from last night was not looking well, "Wait, let me see her! Is she…?"

"Stop! Don't come close!" Ryuken lashed out angrily, "Masaki is… why do you think she got like this? It's because she protected you!"

Isshin was shocked to hear what Ryuken was saying.

"Even though it's against the Quincy rules," Ryuken continued, "she protected you, a Shinigami and now she's wounded. Why? Why does she have to go through this?! It's not right!"

Isshin was stunned and didn't know what to really say as he thought about the black Hollow that bit her.

"Is it because of the injury she suffered that time?" Isshin asked still reeling from what Ryuken said.

"This was made by a Hollow," Ryuken said, "What else do you think it could be? I am going to—"

"Let us please stop," A male voice interrupted.

Ryuken and Isshin were surprised and they looked and saw that it was Kisuke.

"There's no time to quarrel," Kisuke said, "You two, come with me. I will tell you the possible way to save that girl."

Meanwhile someone was walking in the air and was looking around. It was Genjuro Yoshimaru and he from the Gargantua via use of the Descorrer.

"I'm told that he's here," Genjuro said, "I will finally get my vengeance against Clovis."

Genjuro descended and made his way to the town.

Reformed Human World

Nunnally had just arrived at cavern at Kamine Island.

"I'm going to try again," Nunnally said, "because I refuse to give up," Nunnally turned to the side, "I'm surprised that you want to help in this."

Nunnally turned to the side and it was Suzaku standing next to Nunnally.

"I'm just doing what I can to help," Suzaku said, "I want to help. I don't like the idea of just doing nothing."
