I reach my hand to my forehead to try to ease the headache. I push off the bed to sit up. "I wouldn't do that if I were you." The pink haired woman said in annoyance.
"What's going on? What happened?" I ask her. Then flashes of my battle with the god roll through my mind as I grip my temples in pain.
"Take it easy!" Porlyusica demands as she pushes her healing magic in my head to ease my pain.
"The games!" I remembered.
"You've been unconscious for three days. You are in no condition to fight." She informs me.
THREE DAYS! I fight back tears. I let my team down. I let Fairy Tail down.
"Lucy! You're awake!" Lisanna says in surprise.
"Lucy!" A small weight flys into my chest. Happy is in tears as he hugs me tightly.
"Happy! Let her breathe." Lisanna scolds as she pries him off me. " Go tell Natsu she is awake."
" No Don't!" I shout as I grab him to prevent him from leaving. I wouldn't be able to bear to see the disappointment in his eyes.
"Lucy, he's been beside himself with worry." Lisanna explained. Especially when Raven Tail tried to kidnap you when you were out."
I blink. She gasps and says, "Ok so it came to light that Raven Tail has been cheating. There is a guy that can steal powers. It's why you've been out for so long. He did it to Wendy when she was healing you and tried to take you. Natsu lost his mind and practically destroyed Domus Flau in search of you. They were arrested. The magic council wants them to disband but nothing's been decided yet."
There was a knock on the door that made me freeze. I really didn't want to see my team yet. Yukino walked in and gasped. "You're awake."
I remembered I had to take her keys. I reached to my belt but panicked as I realized my keys weren't there. I looked around frantically as I began to tear up.
"If you're looking for your keys, Natsu has them." Happy said. "When Raven Tail took you, they tried to take your keys too."
I look at Yukino apologetically. " Natsu has your keys." I turn to Happy. "Can you get him?"
" Aye sir!" He speeds off ready to accomplish his task.
"You can keep them." She said in a small voice. I look at her in shock.
"You probably thought I was unconscious, I was just magically exhausted. Summoning Ophiuchus takes a lot out of me. In fact, I can't hold both of the zodiac keys at the same time without exhausting myself. But you! You summoned all twelve and the spirit king at the same time!" She explains. " I can not believe you challenged a primordial god! You are amazing."
"You what?!" Lisanna shouts in confusion.
"Couldn't you see inside the bubble?" I ask.
"It was just a massive bubble of dark energy then all of a sudden all the spirits started to hit it. Then a giant materialized out of the sky and struck it a few times with his sword. Then we saw the huge gate and then that was it." She described. "What was that gate?"
"That was the gate to Hell." Another voice rings out from the door. Lisanna stands in a protective manner in front of me. "If you want to hurt her, You will have to go through me!"
Flare puts her hands up in surrender. "I'm not going to hurt blondie. I promise."
Lisanna, still in front of me, demands, " Then what do you want?"
"I'm here to thank blondie for saving my life." She replies.
"When he said he was taking someone with him, he meant you right?" I asked but I already knew the answer. If a person doesn't fulfill a blood contract the user has to… I turn to look at Flare.
"Why did you have a contract with a Primordial god? Did you know that was his price for his power? You could have killed us!"
She looked to her feet in guilt, but I wasn't done. She needed to know what could have happened; how bad this could have gotten. "Blood contracts are dangerous, especially if you are not a celestial wizard! Having one could have so many negative consequences. You should be glad I was able to send him home. What would you have done if he hadn't accepted your sacrifice, huh?! What if he had demanded the death of the audience?! To summon him for a fucking game was stupid and reckless!"

"He wouldn't have killed the audience, the contract said sacrifice as in plural." Flare defended weakly.
I glare at her and wipe my mouth and move to stand. Yukino braces my weight as I'm still a little weak.
" Did the contract say One sacrifice or A sacrifice or Sacrifice?" I ask, putting emphasis on the words one and a. " One means exactly one. A leaves room for interpretation, and if he said sacrifice without a prefix… There is a loophole that invites him to kill anyone and everyone. And was it a sacrifice of his choosing or yours?"
She looked confused so I clarified, "If he didn't clarify an amount of sacrifices when he offered you a contract, you could have been responsible for the death of everyone here. If it was his choosing, he could have wanted the death of babies or kings, the list is limitless. He didn't have to accept us as the sacrifice. If you were trained as a celestial wizard, you know how to prevent loopholes."
" Why is that a thing?" She asked in terror. " Why would he trick me like that?"
"He's a God. Do you think he wants to be at the mercy of a mortal? No! But since he needs that mortal to cross to our plane, he'll play nice and offer power and down play what he wants in return. If you don't know how to spot loopholes, you could be stuck completing an awful task or the price is your life."
"And who's to say the sacrifice wasn't you. There are some blood contracts that double as seals so when you offer Sacrifice, it invites the spirit to trade spots and permanently reside in our world, while you take their place in the prison world. Some spirits are bad and can doom humanity." Yukino adds as I nod in agreement.
" Lucy, you shouldn't be standing!" Erza's voice interrupts. " Why are you here!" She demands as she sees Flare.
" Wait! Wait!" I say as I stand in front of her. " She's here to thank me for saving her."

"How did you save her?" Gray asks, looking at Natsu in annoyance. "Her guild cheated and caused you to lose."

She flinched and said, "It wasn't my idea. I didn't know that could happen!"
"I hope you learned from this. You… we were lucky I managed to push him back but thanks to you and your stupidity, I've made the God of darkness an enemy." I say to her, There is no way in hell a God will accept being bested by a mortal. I dry heave again as my exhausted body deflates. If Natsu wasn't holding me, I'd have fallen to the ground. He lifts me and puts me in the other bed.
Flare bows her head and mumbled, "Thanks," before leaving.
"What was that all about?" Natsu asks as I'm pulling my keys out of his pocket. I sigh in relief. They all are there.
"Lucy, I told you, you can keep them. You were right about Chaos. There is no way he'd let this go. He's gonna come for you." Yukino says as she rejects the keys I'm offering. " You saved my life. Think of it as a thank you gift." She says as she leaves.
"Lucy, how are you feeling?" Master walks in.
"Like I've been hit by a train but it will pass in a few hours. Magical depletion sucks." I replied to his question. " Hey. Guys, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to let you down."
"You got us a point." Gray says as he pats my head. "I was cheated out of my win too."
" If it weren't for you, those girls could have died right?" Lisanna points out, ignoring the " how?!" From Natsu. "Priorities. Plus they cheated. Fairy tail is in fifth place right now so don't worry about it. We can still win."
" We have to go. The next part of the games starts soon." Erza says apologetically. " I'm glad you're feeling better Lucy. Come on Natsu."
Natsu growls and tightens his grip on me.
"You guys go, I need to talk to him for a minute." I say.
" From what I hear, he's gonna need longer than a minute." Master teases as he leaves. Erza gasps and glares at us.
" We're not gonna do that here!" I shout in embarrassment.
"Now." Natsu muttered under his breath. I turn to glare at him as he smirks at me and sits in front of me on the bed.
Erza looks at us and sighs before saying to him, "You better be at the observation stands before the start of the next game!"
She and the others leave.
"Natsu?" I start. He hums his acknowledgement. " I heard you saved me after I was kidnapped when I was unconscious. Thank you."
He pressed his head against mine. " Lucy, I love you with my whole fucking soul and if I ever lost you, I'd burn the whole world to the ground for just existing when you didn't. Of course I'm gonna save you."

"...and then Gray and Juvia did the most awesome unison raid ever!" Happy says. He decided to stay with me to tell me everything I missed when I was unconscious. I was feeling much better but Porlyusica wouldn't let me leave until my magic was completely restored. It was almost sun down so I probably wouldn't be at full power until morning.
"Lucy Heartfilia?" A voice rang out as an officer of the court walked in.
"You need to come with me." He says in a demanding tone that leaves no room for argument.
I sat up to look at him, hairs on the back of my neck rising. "Why?"
"Are you resisting arrest?!" He demands in my face.
"Arrest for what?" I reply back as he grabs my arm and yanks me out of bed. His other hand reaches around his back to grab magic blocking handcuffs.
"She's weak right now! There's no need for this!" Porlyusica shouts.
" By the order of the king, Lucy Heartfilia is under arrest." He says and he places the cuffs on my wrists. Arrest for what?!
"Happy get Master!" I shout as I'm being pulled away.
"Where are we going?!" I shout at the man still pulling me. I was hoping he'd take me to see the King so I can figure out what is going on but… we walk to a door that has two people in dark robes standing in front.
"She's prettier in person." One of the robed people said as he caressed my face. Please don't be a sex cult. I chant to myself as I'm being pulled inside.
"Good evening girls." A sinister voice said as he pulled off his hood. He had a familiar scar across his nose…
"Rogue?" Yukino whispered softly, betrayal laced in her voice.
He didn't respond but he grazed her cheek with his fingertips before walking away from her. "Yukino, Lucy Heartfilia, Do you know why you're here?" We both shook our heads in denial. " It's because you both can stop our plans."
" What plans? What is this? Why were we arrested?" Yukino shot off her questions.
" You, my dear, are not being arrested. I just need you to get out of the way." He replies to her.
" So, you'll let us go when your plans are completed?" I asked skeptically.
" Her, yes. You, no." He answers as my heart sinks.
" Why not?!" I demand.
" Because I am going to kill you." He sneers.
"Why?!" I ask in terror. What did I do? Is he working for Chaos? Why does he look different? My heart pounds in terror as I contemplate using sunshine. I can't do that, I'll hurt Yukino.
"You caused the death of my mate. So, I am going to kill you." He says.
Wait? What?! If he was Rouge, whose death did I cause?
BOOM! An explosion erupted from the far right corner of the room. One of the hooded figures made a grab for me but I jumped back and kicked him in the gut. Another hooded figure equipped a cane and swung it toward me. I lifted my arms to block the hit with the cuffs wich caused them to break. My veins grew hot as they began to glow. Two hooded people ran toward me so I kicked one, and jumped to wrap my thighs around his head and dropped backwards, throwing him to the ground.
