"Of course you can stay in my realm until the end of the eclipse but..." Helios stops to place his hands on my belly. "...it won't help. These two are powerful. Their power is even more rare than dragon slayer magic. It's a lost magic called phoenix force."
" Phoenix force? What kind of magic is that?" I ask as I place my hands over his in curiosity.
"It's similar to sunshine except it's not a key to summon me like it is with you. The wielder of phoenix has the destructive power of sunshine but if trained correctly, they can control it to be able to use it at nightfall. They can absorb power from fire and sunlight." He explains, then his face contorts in concentration. "I can feel Chaos magic." He snaps his eyes to Natsu, who is glaring at him, and places his hands on Natsu's forehead and chest. "You are half demon. No wonder your children are so powerful. Why didn't you tell me your mate was a demon?"
"I'm not a demon!" Natsu says in irritation.
"I'm a God. I've been around for a long time. I recognize demon signatures. Their magic comes from my elder brother." Helios responds in equal irritation.
"I need to talk to my dad." Natsu growls as he looks at his hands in confusion.
We get back to my...our house as Natsu grabs his backpack. "Natsu?" I say hesitantly.
He flinches and turns to me. "I need to talk to my dad. He said he had something to tell me but I came straight back when he told me you were pregnant. But..I can't leave you again. Please come with me?" He whimpers, pressing his forehead to mine.
"Can we go tomorrow? We also have to tell them about their new home." I asked as I gazed outside. "It's kind of late."
Natsu and I were on the couch watching a movie with Natsu's head on my belly when a hesitant knock at the door derailed my train of thought. Natsu grumbled and stubbornly refused to move.
"Natsu, the door!" I pushed at him as he pouted, still refusing to move. I pushed him hard enough to get him off and opened it. There was Lisanna, looking crestfallen. Mira's words from earlier flow across my mind as I look at her in curiosity.
"What's up? Is everything ok?" I ask her as she flinches at my voice.
"Is Natsu here?" She asks and he growls behind me. She flinches again and says, "I need to talk to the both of you."
I invited her inside and made some tea. As I sit the tea cup down in front of her, I notice she's crying. Did my pregnancy really hurt her that much? I thought, guilt crashing in me like a tsunami. This situation really sucks for her.
"Mira told me what she told you, Lucy and she misunderstood." She says softly. "I know that Natsu means everything to you just as you do to him. I just sometimes wish he didn't." She continues, "I just… Being back on Earthland has been so hard. Everything isn't what I remember it to be and Natsu still being Natsu has been the one consistent thing that has been keeping me grounded through this whole ordeal. I'm happy he's happy with you and you have been so patient, understanding and kind through this whole situation. You would actually stop to consider what I'm feeling instead of expecting me to just move on like everyone else says I should. I have been finding it hard to adjust. "
" Lisanna, Have you talked to Mira about your struggle to adjust?" I ask her gently. " No one can help you if you don't say what's wrong."
" Mira keeps telling me to keep away from Natsu otherwise I'll push him and you away but I'm scared that if I do, I will be forgotten again."
" Lis, you were never forgotten." Natsu says after a moment. " I thought about you often, I mourned you. I, honestly, was a little lonely when you died but when I met Lucy…. I didn't forget about you, My heart and dragon just chose her. If you didn't leave, I would have broken your heart to be with Lucy anyway. I hate to say it but this way between the three of us was better."
I blink at him with a blush. I almost forgot that during the visions of me, I saw myself from his eyes when we first met. I glanced at her and she seemed to be absorbing his words.
" I didn't know what it meant when I wanted to be so close to Lucy. It was completely different than when we were together. It wasn't until I bit the bullet and asked Gajeel about it one day that I knew my dragon chose her as my mate. If you were here while I was trying to figure out what that meant, I could have driven Lucy away and destroyed our friendship beyond repair." He explained when she gazed at him in confusion. " I can put the mishap at the fishing spot behind me as long as you promise not to do it again. The only one I want to kiss is Lucy and she will be the only one I want for the rest of my life. She's carrying my children and I want to trust that you, like everyone in the guild, will love them unconditionally but if you can't do that, I don't want you near them."
She gasps as hurt flashed through her eyes. " Lucy is my friend. You are my friend. Of course I will love your children! How could you even question that?"
He gazed at me in guilt. " Because I know jealousy." He says slowly. "If Luce had a child with anyone else beside me, I don't think I could love them as much as I love her, and I hate myself for that."
She gasped again and turned to look at me. I looked down in self condemnation because I told her I wouldn't fight for him if he decided he didn't want me. I would have absolutely hated it if they got together when I was pushing him away but I would have been happy for them from a distance. He would have fought tooth and nail to be with me. He did fight to be with me. I teared up as I realized I wouldn't have fought for him like he fought for me.
"Luce?" He says as I wipe the tears from my face. "You wouldn't have fought for me because you're used to your love being pushed away. I get that Luce and I'm not mad. Please don't feel bad."
I gape at him like a fish on land. How did he know? How did he always know? He sometimes knew me better than I knew myself. "Lucy, you are an open book to me. The only time when I couldn't read you was when you were avoiding me. I don't like it when you close yourself off to me." He says as he glances at Lisanna. He knew that I pushed him away to give her a chance to be with him, of course he did.
I turn to Lisanna who looks between us with a small sad smile. "Will you still let me go fishing with you and Happy?" She asked, unsure of his answer.
He turns to her with a wide smile. "Of course Lis."
Her relief is palpable as she rises to leave. "Congratulations you two."
Natsu rubs my belly affectionately and smiles his toothy smile. "Thanks, Lis, I hope you find someone who will love you just as much as I love Lucy."
She smiles and waves as we close the door. I turned to Natsu and the desire that crashed through my body shocked me. I place my hands on his chest and push his vest off his shoulders as I place kisses across his neck.
"I love you too Natsu." I say as I run my hands down his chest as he places his hands on my hips to press me against his hardening member. I'm breathless as I realize Happy won't be back until morning. I pull Natsu toward the bed and demand, "Get naked and lay down."
"Yes ma'am." He smirks as he steps out of his pants and lays down, with his hands behind his head.

"Rainbow goddesses don't get embarrassed, they let their loyal subjects worship them." He says as he sits up and runs his hands up my arms, to my neck, tangled his fingers through my hair and planted kisses across my neck.
I moan breathlessly as I run my fingers through his hair. He kisses my cheek before pressing his lips against mine, his tongue demanding entrance and I feel him hard underneath me. "Natsu, you are the most destructive, and protective person I've ever encountered." I said to him, "You are a threat to your enemies and a protector to your allies. These babies are so lucky to have you as their father."
He smiles widely and says, " These babies are lucky you are their mom too, Luce."
I smile as I doze off. The feeling of his head on my belly as his hand ran up and down my side made me smile. "Hello, it's me, daddy. I love you just as much as I love your mommy. I can't wait to meet you guys."
