Trying to keep my breathing steady, I count four people in the room with me. Light fingers dance across my bare belly which makes me cold in terror for my children. I have to protect them. I sit up quickly and kick the person who's been touching me so hard they fly back. I leap frog off the bed to the dirty blond with fox ears and knee him in the face. I roundhouse kicked the big fish looking guy and ran out the door into the unknown.
"This place is a maze!" I muttered to myself as I ran up and down corridor after corridor looking for an exit. I hear a loud noise behind me and right when I turn, I'm assaulted with a torrent of water. I lurch out of the water in Aquarius star dress and shout, "Open! Gate of the water bearer! Aquarius!" She pushes the water back as I duck to avoid the fire explosion but I skid backwards from the impact. "Open! Gate of the Maiden, Gate of the Lion! Virgo! Leo!" Leo jumps into action and attacks the fox eared guy with his regulus and Virgo kicks the bunny eared lab coat wearing girl. A man with dark skin breathes fire toward me and I rush through it, shocking him and sending a tornado of water in his face. "Open! Gates of the Zodiac!" I feel all the zodiac spirits come to my rescue to fight the assaliants that have captured me.
"Survey the Heavens, Open the Heavens… All the stars far and wide..." I feel my magic rise and the stars twinkle as they await my commands. "Show me thy appearance With such shine."
My body glows, yellow, silver and rainbows. "Oh Tetrabiblos I am the ruler of the stars… Aspect become complete…"
I feel the heavens shift and open. " Open thy malevolent gate. Oh eighty eight stars of the heaven… Shine! Urano Metria!"
My spirits transform to their star form, my capturerers fly away. The building I'm held in disintegrates as I sway back and forth, a little weak from the spell. I glance around and begin running. I don't even know where to go, I just know I shouldn't be caught again. I came to a stop as I saw a huge ball of darkness and I turned to run the other way but stopped when I saw the fox-eared man running toward me. I took a breath and ran into the darkness. I think I ran into the mouth of the crocodile. I glance around slowly and sigh in irritation at myself. What now? "Hello again, Celestial Wizard." A familiar voice bellows in a mocking tone.
The hair on the back of my neck rises as I appraise my magic with self condemnation. I couldn't exile him again, even if I wanted to. I turn to lock eyes with red. Chaos's mischievous smile makes him seem less imposing but I know better than anyone, he's the devil. "You seem scared of me. Hmmm.. you weren't before, what has changed." He mocked in amusement. "Cat caught your tongue?" His red eyes dropped to my belly and I covered it protectively. "I can feel the combination of my magic, dragon power and my brother's sun. One most powerful during the day and one during the night."
I blink, that's new to me. "How do you know that?" I cringed at the fear I heard in my voice.
He smirks in amusement, "I can feel it. I have more experience with people and magic than my baby brother." I observe Chaos more thoroughly than before. He speaks earthland, not enochian. He's more charismatic, but I don't feel warmth from him but it's not cold either. It's dark like when you stand in a room with no light. When I allow myself to feel him, to look deep in his eyes, I see the beginning of time.
"What happens now? What do you want?" I ask softly as I caress my belly, feeling my twins and in the corner of my eyes, I see rainbow light. I look back to Chaos and he looks shocked at the rainbows or was he shocked at my question. "No one has ever asked me what I wanted before." He hums as he rubs his chin in thought. "I want to be free from my prison."
I freeze in shock and terror. "You are primordial. Can't you free yourself?" "My power scares humans so I was trapped in my own darkness. I wish to be released." He explains like he's talking to a small child. I scoff as I release he's older than anything ever so he probably feels like he is. " Does your power leak like Helios?" I ask "because if that's the case, I refuse to free you." A huge crack appears above our heads as I glare at Chaos. " Contract with me and I will slay your enemies. My brother can't protect you now. I can but my power is weakened because I am here on power that is quickly fading. When I disappear, you will be alone with your assailants." He demands.
" I refuse to free you!" I glare as he smiles a condensing smile. " "If you free me, my darkness is at your control. In return, I'll train your children that will be born with a large piece of my magic. You will need both my brother and I for your babies." I pause in consideration. He is giving me full control of his power without sacrifice? Why? Another crack appears as I glower at him. "I'm not my brother. I don't particularly enjoy isolation. Do we have a deal?" He holds out his hand. I bite my hand so I bleed and I reach for his hand, not to accept the deal but to do something more. I won't free him but… I push my power into his waiting contract and begin ripping it to stitch it with Helios's. He screams in torment as he tries to pull away from me, I scream in defiance and agony. If I mix the power of their prisons, they can be together, neither will be isolated and Chaos can be free, just not on Earthland.
"This is your deal!" I shout in pain as I feel the heat from sunshine. It shouldn't be possible but... I use my other hand to press it to the spot where Chaos's heart should reside. "Join your brother in Elysian. Be free there! Not on Earthland!" His eyes widen as he processes my words. "Deal, my power is yours." I drop to my knees as the darkness surrounding me subsides. How do I summon him? I see the fish guy and the dark skinned guy flank me as I swipe my leg to drop the fish guy and lock eyes with the other. I will not go down without a fight. I raise my hands toward both men and tendrils of darkness shoot at them. Fish guy uses a blade that's in his forearm to block but the dark skinned guy gets pierced and falls to the ground. "Tempester!" Fish guy growls as he glares at me in unfiltered hatred. "We are supposed to keep you alive to extract the power you carry but I will kill you!"
I face my palms together but don't have them touch as I summon a ball of dark energy similarly to how I use Sun Annihilation. I feel it grow as I see the rainbows slither through my veins to add to the ball so it's a dark ball with rainbow lines through it. Fish guy lunges at me as I jump back and throw the ball of energy at him. When it hits him, he explodes. A slow clap fills my ears as I spin around to see a man with a long ponytail step out of the shadows. I noticed a book under his armpit. I take a step back ready to run for it when he says, "please don't. I'd hate to hurt you and the fetuses." I freeze as I stare down this guy. " You did a number on my demons. You're powerful." He says as he looks at the damage I've caused. "Maybe you can help me." He holds out the book and I see it covered in Celestial light but I gasp at the name across it. E.N.D. "release the seal on this book, and I'll let you and your friends go free."
The magic surrounding the book crackles and swirls ominously as I stare down the ponytail guy. I'm so low on power, I couldn't break that seal, even if I wanted to but I don't want him to know that so I reach for the book. His smile deviously wide as my hands encircle around the book and I kick him as hard as I could in the balls which forces him to let go and I turn with book in hand and run toward where I hear fighting. If my friends are here, they must be fighting the enemy.
As I run, I curse myself and Chaos. How do I summon him?! "Girl, turn and push my magic through your hands." Chaos's voice rings through my skull. I do what he says and block a torrent of dark magical energy flying toward me.
"GET AWAY FROM HER!" Natsu's roars as a massive ball of fire flies over my head toward the guy. Natsu and Gray both jump in front of me as I hold the book close to my chest. "He wants the book I'm carrying" I explain looking at the guy getting to his feet.
"Why did you take his book Luce?" I roll my eyes in irritation.
"It's the book of END you dummy!" Gray glances back at me and I notice black spots cover his body and face. "END? We should destroy it then." Natsu flinches as I take a reflexive step back.
"Get outta here, Luce. Get yourself and our babies to safety." Natsu orders as he stares down the guy glaring at Gray. "I'll finish this and come find you." Flashes of Future Natsu cross my mind as I whimper in terror before turning and running away.
"There you are!" Fox eared guy's voice bounced across the empty corridor I was in. I ran at him as fast as I could, jumped to tackle him with my weight, spun to drop him to the ground and kicked him in the face hard, Then ran from his unconscious body.
I panted as I felt myself growing exhausted. I don't know how much longer I can run. I rest my back against the wall. My legs buckle and give out, sending me on the ground as I pant in weariness. I'm not far enough, I think to myself, hearing and feeling the vibrations of the battles around me.
"Get up!" I order my fatigued body. "Get up!" I glare at the book in my hands as I realize, they are demons. All of them are demons. I make a choice.
"Chaos, anyone who doesn't have human or dragon magic. Stop them! Take them!" The dark chuckle vibrates through me as I feel the darkness ooze from my magic outwards. The screams of rage and fright fill my head, making me clutch my ears in regret. I curl in a tight ball as tears stream down my face. I can't block it, I did this. Hopefully, I didn't get any of my friends killed. The power snapped back to me like a rubber band and I felt something or someone run their fingers in my hair before I lost consciousness.
I blinked and notice I was in an unfamiliar bed. I jumped up ready for a fight, but I was so tired I almost dropped to the floor but familiar, warm arms Wound around me and I sighed in relief. I'm safe. We're safe. "Where are we?" I croak, my throat dry. Natsu pulls me so I'm in his lap on the bed and forces me to recline against him.
"Sabertooth." He mutters as he rubs small circles on my belly.
I intertwine our fingers and ask, "what happened?" "All those demons were swallowed by darkness. I don't know where it came from but I followed it and found you." He says, tightening his grip on me slightly. " You scared the shit outta me, Luce."
"Is anyone..." He cuts me off, "no casualties thanks to you but Erza was hurt pretty bad. She's over there." He points to the other bed where Erza was resting. I sigh in relief and exhaustion. Natsu shifts so I can lay down and cuddles me so I'm the little spoon.
"Get some rest..." He mutters as he plays with my hair.
I feel myself dozing off.
