AN: Hey, my Rock 'N' Rollers! TU4QU0I53T4IAN6L3 is back now! It has been a year ever since I written my 'Trolls World Tour - Real Harmony Takes Lots of Voices' story. I never thought it would go so far and I can't thank any of you enough for my story. It is still my leading and popular story of all time, reaching to about 36,112 views right now!

So this here is my own take on my Trolls OC, based on I. M. Rally's and MasterClass60's TrollsTopia stories. At first, I didn't have plans to, but because of looking back on how many people like Charleston and seeing how both mentioned stories are really nice, I decide to try this out. I want to see how Bastille and Charleston are doing with their lives now and how they adjust to the post-events of the World Tour. And this is a little bit of my idea of how TrollsTopia went. Honestly, I didn't like the series that much. I saw one episode and it is good. However, it brings back some feels of 'Taste like Diabetes' and not so much on looking through deeper themes in my opinion. So here, there's going to be a twist and some realism to the town. And you probably already know what that is.

Alright! So here, we have the first part to the pilot episode 'Birds of a Feather'. I am introducing new characters which are Jazzy and Finn! I hope you enjoy this first part and the next few ones will come out soon!

Special thanks to I. M. Rally, MasterClass60, dromerosonic777 and King Halloween for helping me make this story come true and creating new characters I can't wait to show.

I don't own Trolls or TrollsTopia. I only own the plot and my OCs.

So this is the first scene I'm going to include a 'Suggested Music' section, originally made by The Sensational SpiderDom321. Here are the rules; if you see a number like [1], that's your cue to play the music. If you see a number with an 's' next to it, like [1s], that's your cue to stop the music. Some songs in this story would require to skip to certain parts of the song. To avoid confusion of which music source to find, I recommend using YouTube but the titles of the recommended songs may not be reliable.

Songs Included

[1] The Devil Swings (Instrumental) - Fandroid Music Griffinilla

[2] Silence (Cover Instrumental) [In the Style of Marshmello feat. Khalid] - Karaoke Pop Hits!

'Birds of a Feather' Part 1 - Can't Be Everybody's Friend

Symphonyville

Jazzy never imagined that all the Trolls reunited during her absence. She thought that the main tribes would always be away from each other, but when she came back to Swing Town, she found out that her fellow Swing Trolls were heading to Symphonyville. She thought that it was because they were in danger and she went along with it, feeling a bit glad that everyone was thinking productively this time.

However, she didn't know that they were going to live with the Classical Trolls. So that they wouldn't be hidden in plain sight.

This confused her a lot.

She heard the stories of the two queens that started this. One was the Pop Queen who nearly got her tribe eaten by Bergans and constantly got herself in danger when trying to find the other tribes. The other was the Rock Queen who wanted everyone to be Rock, starting with the main five tribes. Jazzy was disgusted by this hasty and brainless idea, but when the World Tour was over, Queen Poppy announced that she was going to try to keep in touch with the other tribes.

Jazzy thought that this was a joke, but she was proven wrong.

Poppy managed to find some other tribes which were K-Pop, Yodeling, Jazz, Reggaeton and some Indie or Hip Hop Trolls. She hadn't been successful since she and Branch couldn't venture out further without getting themselves in danger.

"Dumb queen," thought Jazzy to herself as she lied on her bed. "First, the Swing Mayor refuses to give me a royal position and now the Pop Queen nearly got herself into trouble. Why…sure she is trying to reach out to others, but…she doesn't have any common sense, does she?"

This wasn't the first time Jazzy would think lowly on the leaders. During her years as a mercenary and the town's expert ever since the tornado nearly wiped her tribe, she would often duel with Mayor Goodman for giving her an official role in the leader circle. To be one of the chiefs for the Swing Trolls. However, he kept refusing her offer no matter how much work she tried.

While it hadn't happened for the past months (because Jazzy was out doing her services), Jazzy still hold a grudge against her leader.

When hearing the news, she saw Poppy as little than a leader. But then…Jazzy wouldn't be in the Classical Hills if it wasn't for Poppy.

Right here with all the Swing Trolls.

Even in her room, she could hear faint Classical music. It was sweet, simple and cinematic. Jazzy had already known Classical Music before during her travels, but she chose to enjoy it instead of ignoring it.

KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK!

"Jazzy?"

KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK!

"Jazzy?"

KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK!

"Jazzy?"

The Swing Troll sighed as she went to her door and opened it. She expected it to be Charleston, but…

Timber snickered, failing to hold the voice recorder high.

Jazzy's skin turned bright red, her eye twitching.

"Jazzy?"

Timber burst into giggles as he quickly turned off the voice recorder and placed it in his pocket.

Jazzy shook her head. "Really?"

"You fell for it," said Timber.

"What? No, I didn't."

"Your face said it all."

"Ugh…by Jove, at least it's not Charleston looking forward to-"

And speak of the devil, the light brown Swing Troll appeared, her head sticking from above.

"Hi, everybody!" she said.

Before Jazzy could open her mouth, Charleston suddenly lost her grip and fell onto the floor, headfirst. [1]

"…eh, hi, Charlie," said Jazzy. "How are things going so far ever since your adventure?"

Charleston chuckled a little as she got up. "Oh, it's all good. It's been 3 months ever since the World Tour, but Poppy is still striving with TrollsTopia. It has been all good for her."

"Is she being serious when she meant she is going to try to reunite all the Trolls around the world?"

"Well…she is struggling a little. She is trying to watch over Pop Village while finding other tribes. She asked the other leaders for help, but almost all of them are busy with the changes of our newly-formed kingdom."

Jazzy huffed a little. "It's all in the hands of a young queen. Surely she would know what she is doing."

Charleston frowned, noting Jazzy's sarcasm. "Jazzy. You don't think I forgot what happened before you disappeared? Your little 'incident' with the Swing Royal Council?"

"Go to the devil, dolt. Nobody asked you bring that up."

"But if you haven't been so edgy with the leader," said Timber. "Then you would be able to help all of us. You can't just look at all leaders the same way as you do in your eyes."

"At least I know that half of the leaders are still young and not experienced enough to take on the dangers. And Poppy isn't ready to take on the big world."

Charleston sighed. "Jeepers…well, telling you now, we all know about TrollsTopia."

Jazzy nodded. Timber grunted as he leaned against the wall.

"This is the main place where all the Trolls are together and where the leaders would carry out their duties. TrollsTopia is a free place for all of the Trolls. Well, not exactly, but its services are pretty tight to welcome newcomers. And recently, Branch has been picky on who is allowed to stay."

Jazzy nodded again.

"You're a businesswoman, right, Jazzy?" said Charleston. "Well…Poppy asked me to send some help so that she can find other tribes easily."

The maroon troll nodded. "Does she need my help?"

"I think I can try to have Poppy make a deal with you. You…you can help her with finding the other tribes. Show her what else is there at the rest of the world. Covering…places no one has gone before. Poppy really needs this because since we no longer have the strings, the only thing we need is all of us together. To live in harmony."

Jazzy raised an eyebrow. "And what do I get in return?"

"Then you'll be included in the main leader circle. With all leaders from the main six tribes. As their strategist, their main representative, their…eh…"

"Ambassador?" said Timber.

"Yes! Well…whatever that means…"

Jazzy only snorted and snickered. "You're kidding, right, babe? I don't even know their traditions and benefits on a personal level."

"Well…I just feel bad for you," said Charleston, twiddling her thumbs. "And since you can't get into the Swing Royal Council because you don't have 'royalty blood', I think Poppy is more open to having new members of her leader council."

"I'm not sure about it. I might know a lot, but I still haven't touch on Pop, Rock, Funk, Techno and Country yet. Not that much on what the leaders would and need to do. I'm slowly learning with Classical, but you can't rush me into this thing."

"I know, but maybe with YOUR advice, then this can speed Poppy's search. And maybe you might enjoy TrollsTopia."

"It's either 'yes' or 'no," said Timber. "No 'maybe'. Or you're just going to stick to being a regular civilian. Unless you're willing to be a friend to the leaders and the other tribes."

"Upon my word," said Jazzy. "Your ideas are sweet, but I'm not sure if I can just…"

She trailed off when she thought about it. While she is bitter with the mayor for ignoring her ideas, she only thought lowly of the Pop Queen for her insecure methods and not on subjective reasons. So far, she felt alright with Poppy taking control of everything, but even though she got the facts, she didn't know if she should feel safe.

Jazzy didn't really like the thought of working with other people who are too young or inexperienced. She sometimes thought of the leaders as nobodies who suddenly found their crowns. And who knows how they would react if she wanted to help.

However, her close ally had become a friend of the leaders and this could make things easier for Jazzy to enter the leader circle. Maybe she might be able to keep all the Trolls safe instead of putting their lives in danger when a threat occurs. And maybe the leaders aren't what she sees them as.

Better to see the leaders up and personal instead of spying in the dark.

Jazzt groaned begrudgingly. "Ffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffine…the Chess Master will go and support them. Geez…"

Timber smiled. "I knew you were going to say 'yes'."

Charleston smirked. "Thank you."

"Just to let you know," explained Jazzy. "I don't care what will be my pay, but if Poppy does things right, then I'll be happy to help her out more and the leaders. Understand?"

Charleston and Timber nodded.

"Alright then," said Jazzy. "I'll pack some of my bags and I will go to TrollsTopia."

"Wait," said Timber. "You need suitcases just for a small errand? I thought you're capable of using minimal things when living."

"Well, TrollsTopia isn't dangerous or requires a lot of hard work. I'm basically going on holidays until I decide if I want to stay."

"Most of the buildings are homes for the residents," muttered Charleston. "So there wouldn't be that many accommodations."

"Speak for yourself, Charleston," said Jazzy smugly. "At least I have enough money to buy a luxurious room for myself."

"Well…go ahead and get what you want to bring," said Timber. [1s]

Techno Reef

Finn woke up to hear loud dubstep music. He groaned a little, sitting up from his bed. His whole body was the only source of light that illuminate the slightly dark room, glowing dark blue. He looked down at his glowing black and white arms, admiring them. He wished to go back to sleep, but it was late morning and he should be up already.

Groaning a little, he swam out of his bed and opened his curtains.

Through his window, he could see the main DJ stage and the mosh pit already alive. The several Techno Trolls jumped and danced together, making a rainbow pattern in the sea. 8-Bittowell was hosting the party, playing his loud and feisty dubstep music.

A part of Finn made him want to join in. He smiled a little, but it didn't last for long. He wished to join the party, but…being among the Techno Trolls; the main trolls of the Techno genre who are mostly seeking for a mellow, passive and chilled-out life…he doesn't fit in with that picture.

He frowned to himself. He huffed and placed on his headphones, changing them to one of his Trap songs he made. [2]

A rumbling dance ballad flow in his ears with soulful vocals and a vibrant and booming drop plays along. The overall tone sounded really smooth and mysterious, helping him to keep calm of anything bad that happens around him.

Throughout the song, he dressed himself with a black leather vest, black fingerless gloves, a black belt and his signature black mouth bandanna with a golden skull. He didn't have any plans of going out, but he wanted to feel comfortable with the things he enjoys.

As he started to make breakfast for himself, he sighed. His frown hadn't changed at all. Sure, he felt grumpy on a regular basis, but…maybe listening to that song might not be a good idea. It just made him feel a little depressed.

KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK!

"Oh, Finny!" shouted a voice from outside of his house. "Are you up today?"

Finn growled, shaking his fists. He thought that out of everyone, HE would show up. He should be at TrollsTopia. Why here already?

The midnight blue troll swam to the door and opened it.

"Why, good morning, my friend!" said Synth brightly. "How's your sleep?"

"Quiet as usual," grumbled Finn. "And for the last time, it's 'Electro Ray'. Not 'Finny'."

Synth chuckled as he swam inside the house himself. That was when Finn notice that a certain royal came along.

"Morning," said Trollex. "I'm hoping that you're in a good listening mood."

Finn sighed and bowed down. "Morning, King Trollex."

"We got something to offer to you," said Synth. "You see-"

"Not interested, mate," interrupted Finn, swimming back to his table to finish his breakfast.

Synth stayed quiet for a while.

"You're done being around in TrollsTopia after three gnarly months?" asked Finn.

"Well…not really. Just came here to let Trollex know what has been going on so far. A quick personal visit. And I'm also picking up more Trolls who are looking forward to come over!"

Finn narrowed his eyes. "What does it have to do with you crashing in my house?"

"We had a chat," explained Trollex patiently. "And we thought if you want to come and stay at TrollsTopia."

"Mate…I'm OK with other music, but dinkum, I don't blend in with the other Trolls."

"You know that you can't stay by yourself, Finn."

"Crikey! It's Electro Ray."

"C'mon, buddy," said Synth, pulling Finn in a tight hug. "You nearly wasted your entire life being alone. Having friends and being around others is not a bad thing. Maybe you might be good friends with new Trolls."

Finn rolled his eyes. "You don't need to influence me to do what you want me to do."

"Well, why don't you stay at TrollsTopia for a week? A month? A few days? See how you like it for at least 5 days? Let you explore around the town?"

The lone troll scoffed. "I rather kill myself."

Trollex glanced at Finn and back at the door the entire time. He knew that Finn wouldn't be interested in coming over to TrollsTopia, but he should probably get out more. Being with a new group of people might change him a little. There were many Techno Trolls who hadn't left Techno Reef yet – for example, Kelpivixx couldn't afford to permanently stay in TrollsTopia because he might have to leave his job – but Finn had been doing nothing but sulking around. Finn didn't have a good reason to not go.

"Finn," said Trollex, ignoring using the nickname. "Come with me. Synth, wait outside."

"Aww…" said Synth. "I'm the one who is the leader of Techno Lagoon. I'm a good mentor!"

"I said WAIT OUTSIDE, Synth," hissed Trollex firmly.

Synth sighed. "Fine."

The purple troll swam out and closed the door behind him. Making sure that he was already outside, Trollex then pulled Finn inside his bedroom and closed the door. Including the curtains. Once done, the Techno King groaned and rubbed his face.

"Why do I feel like I'm the dad of this situation?" he muttered to himself. "Like I'm the old one here…"

"But you're only three years older than me, your majesty," said Finn, crossing his arms.

"Oh, that's a lifetime in DJ years," said Trollex with a sarcastic smile. "I can feel myself growing more tired with every passing day."

He drops the smile. "Look, Finn. This isn't easy, but you can't lock yourself away anymore."

"Stop calling me 'Finn'," said Finn. "It's Electro Ray."

"Whatever you want to be called, you got to give other people a chance. I mean, you don't know who you might feel comfortable with."

"I'm already comfortable here at home. Well…it's not exactly home, but…"

Finn sighed, rubbing his head. "Would it be a good idea to go away? I mean, almost half of the Electro House has already left. I don't want a shortage of DJs here."

"It's fine," said Trollex. "I can still find other DJs. I can still run the parties. The point is you don't have to expose yourself to everything. Just join in with small socialization interactions with others and you will be more open to them in no time. At least something you find comfort in."

The midnight blue troll shook his head. "It would be easier for you. You're the young-hearted king who can adapt to anything and I'm just the only Trap Troll in Techno Reef. It makes sense why people like you are more willing to talk to others. I mean, you have to. Like you said, I don't have to expose myself to everything. I can understand why…I don't…have that many friends."

Trollex smiled a little. "Finn. You're one of the best DJs I know. You've been a good teammate of the Electro House. Yeah, you're Trap who is sarcastic and grumpy, one is Dubstep who is really blunt and gullible, one is Industrial who is really tough and mature, one is House who is gentle and nerdy, one is Future Bass who is very stylish, blah, blah, blah. Looking back at Electro House, I don't have any doubts that you can be friends with different people."

"W-What?" said Finn. "That's not it, your majesty. Some people like things that are similar to them and…I don't see how me myself can be a part of that. Being different is good, but…I don't feel good like that…"

"Look," said Trollex. "I have to admit; it gets hard when trying to negotiate with other people. But you'll get used to it being with different people. That includes being in a huge crowd of people."

"I find that really hard to believe, mate…"

"Well…you don't believe it because you don't know yet. Only believe when you do."

Finn turned away, floating around awkwardly.

"Now, I'll let Poppy know that you're going to stay at TrollsTopia for a while," said Trollex. "If you get back to me after at least 5 days, then you can still stay here. No one will bother you to keep going back." [2s]

Finn sighed. He didn't like the idea, but Trollex had a point that he didn't know what other kinds of Trolls are out there. What personalities they might have. He didn't know that and he didn't know if he actually had a shot at this.

"I'm doing this for myself," he said firmly. "Not you. Understand?"

Trollex smiled. "Sure thing, kid. Whatever you say."

And then, the door opened.

"Uh…" said Synth cheerfully. "The passengers are nearly ready to go, so are you two…?"

Finn growled, clenching his fists.

"Oh, you're not finished yet?"

"Actually, we're done," said Trollex flatly. "We just need to help Finn pack his bags."

TrollsTopia, Pop Village

"When Timber told you to 'go ahead and get what you want to bring'," said Charleston as she pulled the rope hardly. "He doesn't mean 'pack everything you have in your basement'."

Currently, the two were bringing along a large wooden cargo filled with the things Jazzy want to bring. So far, she packed more than 10 suitcases and they were too heavy to carry. So, they quickly used a large cargo to place them in. The hard thing was to push it out of the bus when they arrived. Jazzy decided to push it while Charleston pulled it at the front.

"You'll be surprised of how much I have in my room," said Jazzy with a smirk. "And I'm very organized."

"Hmm…it's just that there would be too many things for you to carry on your holiday," said Charleston.

"Just in case. Most of them are clothes for special occasions. Besides, no mugger is going to steal anything from me."

As she said that, a Rock Troll behind her snuck past them and quickly grabbed a suitcase. As soon as he landed back on the ground, Jazzy casually swung her cane and whacked the top onto the robber's head. The man let out a groan before slinking to the ground.

Charleston halt, quickly placing the bag back in the cargo.

Jazzy smirked proudly. "See?"

The two Swing Trolls made their way to the main square of Pop Village. They arrived near where the royalty pod is. They could see it hanging from the tallest branch of the tree that had the mushroom stage on it. While they couldn't see what is going on, they caught glimpses of pink hair from the window.

"So this must be where Queen Poppy is," said Jazzy. "You stay here and watch over my belongings."

"What?" said Charleston. "Hear me on this. I want to see Poppy as well."

"Can't you just wait?"

"Sorry…I really like to see Poppy again."

"Then who is going to look after my stuff?"

They looked around, hoping to see someone friendly or familiar in the crowd of several Trolls. However, they didn't know anyone in TrollsTopia, so there was little chance that anyone was willing to look after Jazzy's bags.

This led to the only option left.

Within moments, Charleston found herself grabbing onto Jazzy's long hair. The latter decided to untie her braid ponytail and stretch it. She chose to carry the cargo with her bare hands and surprisingly, she had enough strength to grab onto it. Since Charleston wasn't too strong, Jazzy had to use her hair to pull herself and her belongings up to the royalty pod balcony.

"Argh…" said Charleston, nearly falling over. "That was close!"

"Cripes," snarled Jazzy. "Stop screwing around. Just a few more seconds and then I'm up."

"I'm trying to! It's…too…heavy!"

She tightened her grip on Jazzy's hair, nearly slipping. Charleston thought she was going to pass out…and then she noticed something sparkly nearby on the balcony.

"Ooh!" chirped Charleston. "A penny!"

As her attention shifts to the penny, she immediately let go off Jazzy's hair. The red Swing Troll gulped before screaming all the way down with the cargo. Crashing onto the ground, all the bags went flying everywhere, scattering all over. Some of them crashed onto Jazzy, covering her body up. From the Trolls nearby, it nearly looked like soft bed mattresses falling from the sky and covering her body up like they were blankets.

"Wait a minute…" said Charleston, picking up the penny. "…it's just glitter."

"CHARLESTON!" roared Jazzy's voice. "WHEN I GET OUT OF THERE, I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!"

As the Trolls nearby came over to help Jazzy sort out the mess, a certain Trap Techno Troll arrived at TrollsTopia. While he could have took Synth's bus, Finn didn't feel comfortable with being around the chipper Techno Trolls. He couldn't help the fact that Synth might pull him into a hug. It took Finn a while for him to arrive at the upper surface – he didn't know the last time he has ever went out of water before. As he flew through the forest, he found himself nearly interested in the new green environment.

That changed when he saw the colorful and glittery town of Pop Village.

The whole place nearly tasted like diabetes to Finn. It nearly looked like Techno Reef, but in his opinion, Pop Village is a more cutesy and non-cool version of it. The thing that confused him was the several Trolls from different tribes.

As he made his way into the crowd, there were a few Techno Trolls who recognized him…and kept calling him 'Finn', much to his annoyance. Some Trolls from other tribes swarm around him, noticing the neon stripes on his fins that make him stick out from his species. Unsurprisingly, he immediately ran away from the crowd around him.

"Dang it," he thought. "Those guys kept following me like shrimps finding food. I think I need to cover up my tail fins to avoid attention…"

He stopped for a while, finding himself at town square.

"Wait a minute…" he thought, crossing his arms. "I haven't thought of where to stay. No way I'm living where Synth is. I…don't really know that much of the other genres after the World Tour. Where am I supposed to go exactly? Man, feeling so dry already…"

"I'm telling you, Charlie," interrupted Jazzy's voice. "If you don't get your head up, you will be the one buried in your own self-made grave."

Snapping out from his thoughts, Finn looked up to see two Swing Trolls carrying several suitcases up to the royalty pod's balcony one by one. Several Trolls watched by, apparently wanting to help out. Some of them were curious of the red Swing Troll.

Even Finn got a little interested.

One of them looked like the same troll he saw from the Rock Concert months ago. The fancy-looking girl who followed Queen Poppy the whole time. What was her name again…Charles? Channel? Charcoal? Chaoyangiformes? No wait…it's actually Charleston. Funny how she wasn't sticking around the leaders around as much.

The other one caught his eyes. The other Swing Troll was also female. She has maroon skin that appeared to be changing shade a little, red-pink eyes and long red hair messily tied in a braid ponytail. While she looked ruffled due to her fall, she iwa still wearing her black fedora, her rose that sat on her left ear, ruby necklaces, a red dress with a black tight skirt, a light brown opened vest and dark brown leggings.

Something about that maroon troll piqued his interest. In fact, it made Finn feel a sense of excitement.

He gasped a little when he felt his head going dizzy and his heart beating faster. The people around him gave him confused looks.

"Eh…"

Finn quickly hid behind a few trees before the Trolls noticed.

Finally, Jazzy and Charleston got all their bags on the balcony. Both of them panted hardly, nearly tired of the tough effort they had to make.

"Next time," said Jazzy. "Let's not take all of them at once."

"Why did you thought of that just NOW?" asked Charleston.

Jazzy's skin turned bright red as she grabbed Charleston's collar.

"Oh…it's because you dropped me down with all my bags JUST FOR A SPECK OF DUST, YOU CLUMSY OAF!"

"Eh…is everything alright there?" asked a voice.

Jazzy immediately let go of Charleston and the two turned around to face Queen Poppy.

"Yep!" said Charleston dumbly. "Me and my girl are just chilling alright."

Jazzy growled a little, her skin turning back to maroon red.

As the two Swing Trolls made their way inside the pod, Finn peeked his head out of his hiding place. The crowd had lost interest and continue going on with their daily lives. He just saw the Pop Queen there – the one who is in charge of TrollsTopia.

...maybe talking to her might be a good idea.

Finn had known Trollex for a long time, so maybe talking to Poppy wouldn't be a bad idea. However, he hated being around positive people, so he wasn't sure if he can handle Poppy's bubbly personality. He might be dragged into a hug time or dressed in all pink.

Against his worries, Finn groaned and flew up to the royalty pod. He could hear talking inside, so he didn't want to interrupt them first. He didn't feel safe to show himself. Out of option, he decided to hide against the wall near the door, his ears sticking up to hear the conversation inside.

Jazzy groaned a little as she sat down on a chair. On the other side of the table is Queen Poppy with her second-in-command Branch. She hadn't thought this through and yet she was face to face with the girl who saved all the Trolls from a wipe-out. She still had doubts about Poppy, but Charleston told her that she needed to make a good introduction.

"So you must be Jazzy," said Poppy with a smile. "I heard a lot about you from Charleston."

"Eh…likewise," said Jazzy awkwardly.

"Wait," said Branch, raising an eyebrow. "We know you?"

Jazzy chuckled a little, standing up. "Who am I? You've never heard of…"

She made a pose.

"JAZZY! The Chess Master! The Swing Bounty Hunter!"

Silence.

Branch wasn't amused. "…doesn't ring a bell."

Jazzy looked defeated. "WHAT?!"

"Cut it down, guys," said Charleston. "Jazzy is only known outside the mainland."

"Shut up," said Jazzy, sitting down. "Essh. And here, I thought the main leaders know everything."

Poppy cleared her throat. "So…eh…anyway. Charleston, you told me that you were going to get help with my search for the other tribes. Is Jazzy here to help?"

"Yeah," said Charleston. "Like I told you, Jazzy is an experienced bounty hunter, so she knows most of the outside world. She knows tribes we don't know before."

The Pop Queen nodded. "And Jazzy, I'm guessing that we have to pay you for this."

Jazzy huffed. "Oh no, no, no. Don't be mistaken. I'm just here because…Charleston kind of promised me to get me included in the main leader circle. To be TrollsTopia's strategist and federal chief and stuff like that…"

Poppy thought about it. "Well…I kind of need a few more Trolls to look after this land whenever I'm away or doing other duties. So I can say 'yes' to this."

"Do you have a resume or any forms we should see?" asked Branch. "We need to know so that we can decide if you're suitable for this task. You're not really born part of the royal bloodline."

Jazzy gritted her teeth, tapping on her cane to calm herself. "Well…I do have all the documents required. Wait…you're not going to overlook them?"

"This is TrollsTopia. Not Pop Village anymore. We talked to the leaders and changed a few things when it comes to people helping out the royal council. All cultures and traditions combined. We are the law and we are the ones who look out for what's right."

Jazzy couldn't help but nod in approval. "So you're making slow progress on building a bigger, better and stronger kingdom."

"You can be the key to make the next giant step," said Poppy. "And with your help – as long as you are around with us – then all of the Trolls can be safe."

Charleston grinned, looking at Jazzy eagerly.

The Chess Master blinked. "Well…since you put it that way. The only reward I want is to be one of you guys. To look after the Trolls properly. Unlike Mayor Goodman…"

"That's in the past," said Branch. "Focus on now. Maybe your actions might be as good as all the leaders."

Jazzy smirked a little. "Huzzah…but…it's not like I'm going to be anything good with that position…heh, heh."

Charleston chuckled a little, finding this fake mean act funny.

Branch shrugged, acknowledging the sarcasm.

Poppy smiled, standing up.

"We can get started soon," she said. "But since you just arrived, do you want to look around TrollsTopia?"

"By Jove," said Jazzy. "I think I need to try to settle in this place first. It's not like home anymore. I need to get used to this and I never been around the main tribes for a long time."

BRISTLE!

Everyone went quiet when they heard something brushing against the wall from outside.

"What was that?" said Poppy.

Aside from the faint chatter from below, it was eerily quiet.

Branch narrowed his eyes.

Finn bit his lip, staying very still. He was leaning the soft wall too much that his weight accidentally nearly pushed through the fabric. He quickly straightened himself up when he heard Poppy's voice.

"Must be a Bergan," said Branch quietly as he slowly crept to the entrance. "Or a dangerous critter…or a Snug-A-Lug…"

Jazzy narrowed her eyes, placing her arm over Charleston. If this was an intruder attack, then this one must be a stealthy guy since none of them didn't know there was one just outside. It could be anyone.

Finn placed his hands over his mouth. Maybe hiding wasn't a good idea after all. Should he just reveal himself or should he run? He couldn't fly away already without making a scene. With hesitation, Finn slowly moved his head towards the entrance…

…only for Branch to catch him by the hair from the WINDOW.

"GOTCHA!" shouted Branch.

Finn let out a girly scream as he was tossed inside the royalty pod. Onto the table.

"Wait," said Branch. "That's not a monster."

Jazzy stared at this Techno Troll that got thrown into the room. This took her by surprise; she didn't expect Poppy to have more visitors.

The appearance of this new Troll looked interesting. He has midnight blue skin, turquoise hair, eyes and mouth, and black and white stripes on his arms. On his tail fins are glowing neon lines. His choice of clothing makes him look like a Rock Troll; a black leather vest, a black mouth bandanna with a golden skull mouth, black fingerless gloves and a black belt with a golden buckle.

It is definitely a Trap Troll. She recognized those neon lines on his tail fins. To her surprise, she felt a little…enchanted by this new Trolls. She didn't know why, but this guy looked…interesting.

She didn't notice that her skin was glowing bright red again.

"Is it too hot in here?" asked Charleston dumbly.

"Oh," said Poppy. "Hi there! Nice to meet you."

Finn groaned a little, floating upwards. "Eh…sorry. I'm just in a stupid thing I got myself into. Look, I don't give two carps about this, so I'm just going to get out of your hair and be on my way."

"Hold on…you're that Trap Troll Trollex told me about."

Branch's eyes widened. "What? Another species of the Techno Tribe?"

"What?" said Charleston.

Finn sighed. "OK. OK…yeah. They call me-"

"Finn Okazaki," finished Poppy.

Finn growled. "For hell's sake! It's Electro Ray!"

Jazzy tutted. "Electro Ray? Pathetic."

Finn is taken aback by this. "Shut up, rosie."

"It's nice to see that you're going to stay here for some time," said Poppy, lifting up her hand.

Finn scoffed, ignoring the handshake. "Look. I have no intentions of coming here. I'm just here because…Trollex made me do it."

"What a coincidence…" muttered Branch.

"Don't worry," said Poppy. "As you see here, TrollsTopia has everything you need from every tribe. We are here to make sure that you feel like home and experience new cultures from every tribe. Including-"

"Not interested," said Finn, turning away.

But when he tried to leave, Poppy grabbed him by the waist using his hair.

"OK, OK!" snarled Finn. "Fine, bloody bogan."

Branch winced a little. "This is harder than the Rock Trolls."

"Why don't I show you two around TrollsTopia?" offered Poppy. "With that, I can show you everything we have and we will see if you find anything that you like. You'll get used to the new things in life now!"

"Whatever," muttered Finn, crossing his arms.

Jazzy groaned a little, noting how enthusiastic Poppy was at the moment. This was just ticking off the sign that she was going to introduce them to some Pop cultures…and she was not going to enjoy it that much.

"…sure," she said doubtfully.

Charleston grinned. "Don't worry! I'll join along!"

"Good!" said Poppy. "Now let me get myself prepared first! We're going to have a blast with this."

As she ran off to another room, Branch realized something.

"Wait!" he said, chasing after Poppy. "You're not going to shower down with those cheesy pop-up cards, aren't you?"

"But they are so cool!"

"Would you say covering their faces in glitter cool?"

The three remaining Trolls stood in their spots awkwardly.

"I like them," said Charleston. "They're funny."

As the brown Swing Troll went over to look out the window, Finn grumbled to himself as he flew around in a circle. He found himself face to face with Jazzy.

"Oh…um…"

Since he got a closer look, he never knew that Jazzy could be this intimidating. She stared at him in disgust, a look of distain on her face towards this newcomer. Probably because of what he called her. They said that she is a bounty hunter and bounty hunters are people you don't want to mess.

"So…first time being here?" asked Finn.

"Duh," said Jazzy flatly, crossing her arms. "You never saw a Swing Troll around in TrollsTopia before?"

"No…it just came to my attention. So…"

The two Trolls stared at each other. There was some sort of tension between them yet for some reason. One of them waited for the other to speak, not putting down their glare.

"So…you don't think I don't look too good because…am I wearing the same things the Rock Trolls wear?" asked Finn.

Jazzy blinked, a little put off by this naivety. She snickered.

"You want me to compliment you on your choice of Rock clothing when it looks like you never heard about other music in your life?" she sneered.

Finn frowned, turning around. "Fine then. Whatever. Just don't get your bloody vest in a bind."

"This world revolves around all music, Trap Troll," said Jazzy smugly. "If you aren't familiar with them, then don't bother."

She turned away, walking over to the restrooms.

"Go be a hermit or something."

Finn scoffed and rolled his eyes. "Shocker."

AN: In ever chapter when necessary, I will explain about the characters and any new things along the way.

Here, we have Finn 'Electro Ray' Okazaki. I would have The Kid Laroi to voice this character. The independent and cold Trap Techno Troll. He actually makes his debut in MasterClass60's story 'TrollsTopia (My Version) - Season 2'! Finn is an experimental character; at first when I created him, I thought he would be just a side character, but I didn't expect for MasterClass60 to make him a part of the main cast and Laguna's brother. This blows my mind and I loved how she describes him in her own style. It's like she nearly nails the job well done in a way I didn't expect.

It is such an awesome experience playing with this character, so I decided to try out Finn in my own way. To let you all know, in this universe, Finn is a Trap Troll (so he isn't a normal Techno Troll), does not have a bloodline connection with Laguna (hence the changed last name) and have a different personality. While his cynicism and moodiness have not be diminished in the slightest, he is more hot-tempered and more socially-awkward, taking on what would be an Adorkable personality. His last name is changes to 'Okazaki' to make his name a pun of 'fin of a shark'. I really like Finn a lot.

Jazzy the Chess Master is a character I am excited, would be voiced by Charli XCX. Me and I. M. Rally came up with this character when debating on ideas and story concepts. I decided to include Jazzy in this story since I am so excited to show this character. She will have her own story arc after the pilot. I want to depict her as the sassy, no-nonsense and impulsive anti-hero/anti-villain of the story. I'm hoping that there will be a lot of people who love her or love to hate her because she is a really interesting character to me. Not matter the thoughts of her, I just hope that there are people who take note on her role.

As you may notice, there is something...between them. How do you like their background stories so far, their introductions and interactions with the other characters? What do you think of Finn so far since this is a different version of him? Any guesses on what these two misfits will face in the pilot? Let me know in the reviews.
