Killer Queen: A Clockwork Pink

Chapter 4: Scary Monsters (And Super Creeps)

A group of kids were brutally murdered last night…

4 Boys, all around 18. A woman found their bodies hung from a series of streetlamps in the middle of the light, nooses made from their own intestines, every one of their arteries slashed, and their false ribs were impaled to their head, making them appear to all have demon like horns. It was hard to determine specifically how they died, but the cops, unsurprisingly ruled it as an obvious mass homicide.

Each body was placed in a green canvas body bag, to be sent to a morgue to be preserved, but for right now, they were sitting on the sidewalk until ambulances could arrive to pick them up. 2 officers stood around the lamp post where one of the boys were hung. They could smell the large amount of copper in the air as the blood of the scene dried into a sticky, smelly stain on the concrete floor. It was a good thing they already finished vomiting when they first arrive to the crime scene, the rotting blood, the flies. Just like the crime itself… It was disgusting. No words were exchanged between the two, both finding solidarity in the silence, reeling in their mortified grief.

Suddenly the low thud of footsteps approaching them broke their train of thought. The officers turned, alarmed but not immediately reaching for their firearms. Behind the yellow police tape stood an incredibly tall man, easily 6'5" (195 cm,) wearing a large white trench coat over a black shirt and white pants. Other than his impressive height, his most notable feature was his white hat that has a "J" and a heart pin attached to it, a glistening white, interestingly it was cut in half, and the man's hair made the transition from hat to hair almost seamless.

"Sorry to bother you Officers…" The man said in a deep, hoarse voice, almost as if he were a smoker. "I am Dr. Jotaro Kujo, and I was sent by the Speedwagon Foundation to investigate a series of murders."

The cops looked at him in awe, mostly due to his height, but also because he was from the world renowned "Speedwagon Foundation," formed by Robert EO Speedwagon all the way back in 1910.

"You kinda some private investigator doc? What you get a doctorate in?" One of the officers jokingly asked.

Jotaro only sighed before cautiously stepping over the police tape. "Good grief. I'm a Marine Biology, and before you ask, I frankly don't care if you think that 'A marine biologist' is a weird job for a private investigator."

The officers wisely stepped aside for the much bigger man. Jotaro inspected the now brown splotches of blood on the concrete, before turning his attention to the canvas body bags the lay in the middle of that street. He carefully opened one up, flinching a little bit at the carnage he is facing, but continuing on without a hitch. He ran his fingers on the tips of the deep, nerve severing cuts. They were clean, spectacularly clean, deep enough to tear through bone like clay; it was as if a knife cut through them at near blinding speed.

Jotaro looked at the torso to see it wide open, all the organs still inside of the boy, except for the small intestines, which were wrapped around the neck still. Jotaro exhaled before respectfully putting the body bag back on the corpse of the slaughtered boy.

"Are you officers familiar with the murder of Reimi Sugimoto, Sumiko Kunimido, and the disappearance of Tomei Kunimido?" Jotaro asked as he stood up, turning to the officers. (Tomei Kunimido was the name of Mr. Kunimido, the same one that Kira killed when he unlocked Killer Queen.)

The Officers went silent for a moment, before on of the Officer hesitantly opened his mouth.

"Um… The Reimi Sugimoto murder is what inspired me to becoming an officer. Her corpse was strung across the wall of the house I lived across of. Her own intestines were used to suspend her from the ground…" The Officer said before pausing, swallowing the hard lump of unsaid words in his throat, his face seemingly red from embarrassment. "Sorry…"

"It is okay… Let the Speedwagon Foundation take this major investigation from now on…"

"Why?"

Jotaro paused, before looking at his own, calloused hands.

"Because whatever committed these murders is most likely, paranormal in nature…" He said, in his deep voice.

"I recognize these boys… If you want to figure out the events leading up to their murder, go investigate the sandwich shop that is next to the Villas. We have received complaints of these boys harassing patrons and employees alike. If you want to start anywhere… start there."

Jotaro tipped his hat to the officer as a show of respect, a far cry from his youth.

"Thank you for the tip officer." Jotaro said before walking towards the location.

As the large man disappeared into the horizon, the two officer gave each other a quick, nervous glance.

"Paranormal in nature?"

"Yeah… I kind of believe him…" He officer responded before turning his gaze onto the four body bags on the street. "Because I highly doubt that whatever committed these atrocities was a human…"

Kira was staring at the contents of his fridge, or rather, the lack of contents. It's been a full 2 weeks since he went to the grocery store to restock his shelves, practically in a famine. He needed to get food, and that's exactly what he was going to do. He put on some shorts, and a black shirt that has the members of the band "Queen" plaster in front. After putting on his shirt and grabbing his keys he stepped out, and after locking his door how quickly turns around and slams face- no, nose first into something. He staggered backwards and grips at his nose, touching the inside of it to check if it was bleeding, thankfully it was not. He looked to see who or what he ran into, only to see Shinobu kneeling on the floor, both hands rubbing her forehead.

"Owie, ah- Huh?" Shinobu looks up at him, ignoring the red mark on her forehead. "Oh Kira! I'm so sorry!"

"Huh? Oh it's- it's okay…" Kira said as he continued to rub his nose. "What are you doing out this early?"

It was 6:15, the sun was barely rising, shimmering its golden rays on the quiet town, the sky emulated what it feels like to see the sun rise at the break of dawn, projecting a gradient of orange and deep blue. Shinobu only blinked at him as she rose from the ground (at least trying to) get to eye level.

"I need to buy groceries; I wasn't left with a lot in terms of food when moved in and Hayato is in desperate need to food." Shinobu explained, her hazel eyes seemed more golden as the Morioh dawn sky reflected off of her. "Where are you going?"

"I'm…" Kira wrung his hands in an attempt to hide his blush and his internal happiness that he is going to the grocery store at the same time as Shinobu. "I am also going to the grocery store…"

They stood in silence for a few seconds, Kira's internal awkwardness began to beat on his heart, pumping more blood into his blood stream. Shinobu's lips curled into a smile. "Okay! Let's go together!"

Her tone sounded genuinely happy as well, only bobbing her head to the side, indicating that she'll lead the way to the grocery store.

Shinobu inspected the items in Kira's cart as he pushed it along the aisle. She carefully picks up the carton of almond milk, her face twisting in confusion and mild distaste.

"What are you, lactose intolerant or something?" She asked the blonde man as he looked at a comically long piece of paper, his grocery checklist.

"No, I buy Almond Milk because I feel regular milk is a bit too bland. Also, if I was lactose intolerant, I wouldn't have bought coffee creamer, would I?" Kira explained, picking up a small bottle of coffee creamer.

Shinobu pursed her lips in contemplation, shrugging at the notion, but still confused on why he thinks Cow Milk was too bland. Shinobu pushed her own cart along, looking at her contents. She realized she got enough food for a family of three… The image of Kosaku's stern face popped in her mind, a blue hue emulating the sadness she felt when he left her, but soon he was replaced by the softer face of Kira, his shiny, slicked back, golden-blonde hair. She felt herself flush before turning to Kira, with a brand-new resolve. I'm going to ask if I can make him breakfast.

She turned to him, red as a turnip, opening her mouth to speak, until she saw Kira's face, staring directly in front of him, looking nervous, concerned. She looks towards the direction he's looking at to see who, or what he was staring at. At the end of the aisle stood a massive man, wearing a white trench coat and half of a white hat. He towered over Kira and Shinobu, looking down at Kira specifically, but keeping Shinobu in his peripheral vision.

"Are you Kira?" He asked Kira.

"Yes- Yes that's me…" Kira stuttered out.

"Were you at The Sandwich Shop near the Villas last night?" The man began to interrogate.

"Yes, why do you ask?" Kira began to get nervous. God I really hope this guy isn't the older brother of one of the delinquents from yesterday. If he is I am royally fucked, even with Killer Queen I am going to get my ass whooped.

"My name is Jotaro Kujo, private investigator for the Speedwagon Foundation."

Jotaro extended his hand, offering a handshake… After a few seconds of hesitation Kira shook it, but as their hands made contact it felt like electricity began bouncing between their palms. Jotaro and Kira quickly retracted their hands, and the larger man blinked before lowering his hand slowly. He sighed before putting his hand into his coat pocket.

"Where were you last night between 11PM and 3 PM?" Jotaro asked.

"Asleep, on a normal day I would never stay up past 11 PM." He said, casually and cautiously.

Jotaro stayed quiet for a second, unnerving Kira and Shinobu, as she instinctively grabbed his sleeve.

"Was yesterday not a normal day?" Jotaro questioned.

"I fell asleep earlier, 8 PM… I think." Kira blinked before shaking his head a bit, tired of Jotaro's cryptic questions. "Wait, wait, wait. What the hell is this about? You are a private investigator, right? What are you investigating, and why are you trying to interrogate me in front of my friend?"

Shinobu gave him a quick glance, blushing a bit, turning back to Jotaro. The taller, younger man face turned a but, before pulling out a small, but thick white envelope. "Yesterday, last night, 4 boys were brutally murdered. I investigated the Sandwich Shop which they frequent, and the employees claim that you two were the last people who they interacted with."

The hearts of Kira and Shinobu plummeted into a void. Kira was being accused of being involved in the deaths of these boys. Shinobu was afraid, she suddenly recoiled away from Kira, not knowing who to believe in, but Kira himself didn't notice.

"They were being loud and touching Shinobu in a way that was inappropriate. I only asked them to stop and one of them decided to provoke me even more. He just fell flat on his ass, and that's when I was escorted back to my apartment by Shinobu. And then I fell asleep. Hungry…" Kira explained everything to Jotaro, who stood across from him, the only thing separating him was Kira's shopping cart.

Jotaro squinted at him, digesting each word spoken, trying to find a shadow of a doubt in each word said. But despite Kira beginning to sweat, and shifting uncomfortably in his shoes, Jotaro couldn't find any lies in Kira's word, only letting out a sigh, or a groan, mumbling "Good grief."

"Well in any case, be careful where you tread, you have no idea about the things that happen in this quiet town…" He cryptically stated before walking past the two, slipping the envelope into Kira's right pocket as he did, tipping his hat. "Have a nice day."

Jotaro left the two, bringing the brim of his hat over his eyes. Yoshikage Kira is a stand user… I felt it, Star Platinum felt it…

Shinobu and Kira continued on with their shopping, but silently this time. Walking, in contemplation, thinking about what Jotaro had told them. Not a word was exchanged until they reached the front door, Shinobu, wanted to ask him for breakfast anyway, but the events in the grocery store sucked her will out of her heart, only turning to him as she approached her apartment door.

"Um. I'll see you later tonight?" Shinobu asked him.

He didn't turn back to face her, only facing his apartment door. Kira's excitement to eat with Shinobu faded away as the words, the implications Jotaro spoke to him rattled his mind. His heart began beating at an abnormal pace, was it fear? Or just from the sound of Shinobu's voice. Although she sounded not at all comfortable in her skin, her voice was able to calm Kira down, even if slightly. He thought about it, maybe dinner would be nice, to help him forget the event at the supermarket. "Yeah… S-Sure."

He turned to give her a reassuring smile, only for it to grow into a bigger, open toothed one when he saw her face light up. His heart burned a little from how happy she looked, even after Jotaro's confrontation, even after the taller man vaguely accused him of being a murderer, she would still smile at him…

Kira looked at himself in his bathroom mirror. He was wearing some nice black shorts, and a purple collared T-shirt. Usually for dinners he would dress up in something much fancier, but the place that Shinobu chose to eat at wasn't exactly a black-tie affair. Although he still put on some nice brown leather shoes before walking out of his apartment. Usually, he didn't really care about his air, but this time he felt a little bit self-conscious about each individual strand of hair on his head, he wanted to look as good as possible. He knocked on the door of Shinobu's apartment, fully expecting her to open it immediately. Although it did open in less than a second, the person who opened it wasn't Shinobu, but rather, her son Hayato.

Kira gave him a warm grin, however Hayato only gave him an obvious disgusted look and a groan to go along with it. Hayato turned to the inside of the apartment. "Mom! Kira is ready!"

Kira ignored the previous look that Hayato gave him and glanced inside the apartment, to find Shinobu wearing a blue shirt with a very thing white sweater over it, with some black leggings. She said her goodbye to her son before turning to Kira and walking out the door. Kira walked alongside the balcony of the apartment complex, glancing back because he felt like someone was watching him. He looked at the window of Shinobu's apartment and saw Hayato staring at him, eyes completely contracted, eyeing Kira with malicious intent. He only looked at Hayato for a second, Kira's face maintaining his neutral expression, before turning around to pay attention to where he was walking. What a strange kid… He thought to himself.

The walk to the restaurant itself wasn't that long, it was surprisingly close from their apartment, only just about 3 blocks. Kira looked up at the big sign that was plastered above them. "Trattoria Trussardi." Kira read the roman lettering on the sign, squinting a bit as he read "Trussardi." Shinobu looked at Kira, and she got closer to him, curious, and maybe a bit worried.

"Are you alright?" She asked him.

"'Trussardi…' I think I have heard of that name before…" Kira responded, keeping his eye on the lettering.

"Oh. Okay, c'mon, c'mon, c'mon! Let's go inside I am starving." She said, gripping at his sleeve near the elbow, dragging him inside.

"Buona serata! Welcome, I am your chef! Antonio Trussa-" The man with copper-brown hair and a chef's uniform paused after catching a glance of Kira, being towed in by Shinobu. "Oh! Yoshikage Kira! It is so good to see you again."

He immediately embraced the awkward Kira into a big hug, confusing the fresh hell out of Shinobu.

"Huh? Uh- Kira? Do you know him?" Shinobu asked him.

"Uh… Yeah, something like that, I met him when he cooked for everyone at my job one day a few years back…" He squeezed out, but his voice began to sound more restrain. "Trussardi! You- You're a lot stronger than you look. Trussardi my spleen…"

The Chef opened his eyes before dropping Kira, who griped at his back in pain as he caught his breath.

"I apologize…" The Italian man said bowing to Kira. Despite obviously not being Japanese, he still respects Japanese customs and spoke perfect Japanese to better comfort his customers.

"It- Its- fuck. It alright." Kira said, waving off the chef as he held his hand on his back.

"Please, take a seat!" Kira ignored the back pain and helped Shinobu sit down, before taking a seat himself.

Tonio stood happily beside them as they got settled. Shinobu glanced around the restaurant, looking for something. She turned back to the Italian man, tilting her head a little. "So… Where is the menu?"

"There is no menu!" Tonio gleamed before sticking his hands out. "May I see the palm of your hands please?"

Shinobu was taken aback for a second. No menu in a restaurant? That's odd, but I'll roll with it… She hesitantly extended the palm of her hand for Tonio to inspect, not knowing that he'll actually grab her wrist and run his fingers through each individual crevasse in her hand. His eyes were closed, and his eyes were furrowed, as if he was meticulously inspecting every pore in her palm's skin. She shot a wide-eyed glance at Kira, who was resting his arm on his hand, with his elbow propped on the table. He only twisted his wrist, gesturing with his hands that he too had no clue what the hell was going on. Soon Tonio face softened and turned his attention to Kira. Tonio gestured to Kira, indicating he would like to inspect Kira's palm this time.

Kira only sighed and raised his hand up to show him. Tonio grabbed his wrist, but as the Italian's finger brushed against Kira's hand, a sensation like a spark of static electricity. Still gripping Kira's hand Tonio quickly retracted his other hand to the side of his head, wide eyed. He blinked before shrugging a bit and going back to inspect Kira's palm. Kira stayed quiet, but his encounter with Jotaro in the Grocery Store replayed in his head. When he shook Jotaro's hand, he felt the exact same thing.

Soon Tonio finished inspecting his palm and gave them a warm smile.

"You will be having the abalone risotto and you will be having parmigiana di melanzane!" Tonio said to Shinobu and Kira respectively.

A beat.

"What-"

"Here, have some sparkling water while I make you your food." He gently places down two glasses of pristine sparkling water in front of them, before turning tail and walking back into his kitchen to prepare them their meals.

Kira and Shinobu only looked at each other, before Shinobu let out a small laugh.

"Well, this surely is getting interesting!" She said before inspecting the beverage in front of her. "What is this? This doesn't look like Sparkling Water."

"I think it's uncarbonated. Who in their right minds would drink that stuff?" Kira made a disgusted face. "Tastes like sandpaper."

"Despite being you being very quiet, you're quite dramatic." Shinobu chuckled before taking a swig of her glass of sparkling water. "Holy shit! That's really good!"

She downs the rest of her sparkling water. Kira only circled his index finger over the rim of the glass, elbow still propped onto the table, supporting his face. He didn't want to drink yet because his mind was still so focused on the shock-type feeling he felt shaking hands with Jotaro and getting his hand inspected by Tonio, wondering what it was. Suddenly he heard someone sniffling.

Kira perked up to see Shinobu was obviously crying, but instead of being red face upset, the tears coming out of her eyes were plastered on a rather confused face.

"Sh- Shinobu? Are you okay?" Kira asked, evidently worried.

"Y- Yeah. Why?" Shinobu responded through the sniffling,

"You're crying!" Kira quietly exclaimed, much to Shinobu's bewilderment.

"I am?" She touched her face, feeling the liquid trickle down her face. "Oh- I am…" She said the last part with more somberness rather than shock, or surprise.

Kira thought he was hallucinating, when he saw Shinobu's eyes seem to shrivel in on themselves into oblivion. Kira, although wide-eyed blinked a few times to figure out if he was hallucinating, but when he opened his eyes a 4th time, in an instant, Shinobu's eyes were back in their sockets, gleefully smiling, as if nothing had happened. Kira blinked a few more times, fully expecting to see Shinobu without her eyes again, but nothing happened.

Kira looked at his glass and decides to push it away gently. Shinobu eyed him and the glass before giving him a bit of a sad look.

"What's wrong?" Now it was Shinobu's turn to be worried.

"I- Um… It just that- Never mind…" Kira waved off Shinobu, not knowing how the fuck to explain what he just saw, what Shinobu was so oblivious to.

Kira and Shinobu talked as if everything were normal, waiting a bit for their food, deep down Kira knew everything wasn't normal, everything was far from normal. He shifted in his seat a little as the tall, copper haired man brought them a plate of his very own, handmade Italian food. Each ingredient was specially imported or personally grown to his standard, Tonio explained that even if a single ingredient was even 1% off his standards, he will not use it.

Tonio waved the two goodbye before retreating back into the kitchen. Kira turned to look at his dish, fried, sliced eggplant layered with cheese and tomato sauce, then baked. To completely frank, Kira had never tasted eggplant before, let alone a dish as European as this, and he would be more than willing to dig into his food, if it weren't for the fact that the entirety of the day made him feel sick to his stomach. He only picked at the food with his fork, studying its elasticity.

Shinobu however, was having the time of her life. She was digging into her rice dish with as much enthusiasm as a child digging into their Halloween candy. Blushing happily as she enjoyed the food served to her. In under 5 minutes she completely annihilated her abalone risotto, glancing over to an indifferent looking Kira, picking at his food.

"You haven't eaten anything! Your food is going to get cold!" Shinobu said wiping her face off with a napkin.

"I barely started; you just ate your food so fast you lost track of time…" Kira responded, noticing that Shinobu was staring at his food.

"Can I have a bite?" Shinobu asked, pointing her fork at his food.

"Uh… Go ahead…" Kira responded.

Shinobu immediately stabbed her fork into the fried eggplant dish and plopped it happily into her mouth, squealing with delight as Kira sat there, smiling a bit. When Shinobu is happy she becomes beautiful, incredibly beautiful. Kira cannot explain how much her smile makes him happy, he smiled at her joy until Shinobu stopped squealing.

Kira heard an audible crack coming from Shinobu's mouth, who quickly gasped and slapped her hand over her mouth, wide eyed. Kira got his face closer to Shinobu, confused.

"Are you okay, Shinobu?" He asked her.

"M- My tooth…" She choked out, before coughing a bit and spitting out a whole TOOTH into the table.

Kira inspected the tooth, only to find it was extremely yellow, with an ugly black mark on the side of it, almost as it was decayed in her mouth.

Shinobu gasped. "My bad tooth?"

"YOUR bad tooth?" Kira exclaimed, thinking that Tonio had accidentally dropped a tooth into his food. The mere thought of it sending shivers of disgust down his spine.

"That fucker was giving me problems for months! And now my gums feel…" She licked the interior of her mouth, eyes shooting open as her tongue rolled around. "It… It grew back?"

"Huh?" Kira was bewildered, standing up and walking over to Shinobu's seat and using his thumb to open her mouth in inspect. There could've been a different, less awkward approach to go about this, but Kira was so shocked that the discomfort didn't even register to him. He looked in there with what little light he had to see, looking up and down her mouth, noticing that there wasn't a rotten tooth to be seen, not a pivot in the interior of her mouth. "I'll be damned, it did grow back!"

Kira looked up to get a better look at Shinobu, she was beet red, all the way up to her ears. Kira quickly stepped backwards before hesitantly going onto all fours to grovel in silent apology.

"IT'S OKAY! It's okay…" She exclaimed, waving her hands widely in front of her.

They both sat back down, the embarrassment in the air was palpable and it could be cut with a knife. They silent for a moment before Shinobu went back to stealing food from Kira's dish, which he didn't mind since he didn't feel that hungry to begin with. As she was cowing down, she suddenly hissed and began scratching her hands, before resuming eating the parmigiana. However, her pauses to start scratching at the palm of her hand started to have less time in between intervals. Kira watched as small flakes fell off from her hand as her scratched became more and more violent.

He also stayed in silent disgust when blood began dripping out of her palms and evaporating in thin air. Not wanting to cause another awkward scene where he had to profusely apologize to her again. Suddenly, to his horror, a violent clump of dead skin particles just plopped onto the table and disappeared without a trace without trace.

I think I am going to fucking vomit. Kira thought to himself, turning a bit green before turning away.

"WOAH! ALL THE CALLOUSES FROM MY HANDS ARE GONE!" Shinobu happily squealed out.

Kira turned a bit to see Shinobu rubbing her hands on her face, soft as a baby's bottom. He turned more, and Shinobu showed him her palms, shiny, silky, smooth. Hold on… There were calloused on her hands the entire time? He recalled to when Shinobu held his hand when walking out of the Sandwich Shop, they felt soft in his hand, never registering the callouses. Is it because he was flustered from the entire situation? Or was he so touch starved that he didn't care?

Kira became unnerved, Shinobu was put in a lot of pain only to have her ailments heal… Was it to put them in a false sense of ease? So, the final act can have an extremely violent and horrifying way to die? Was Tonio the killer of those 4 boys the previous night? Did they have a bad reaction to the food? No, that's ridiculous, those boys have no concept of "healthy food." He sighed to himself until Shinobu abruptly got up gripping her thigh, teeth clenched and tears coming out of her eyes.

"It… IT HURTS!" She yelled out, writhing in agony.

She immediately pulled up her skirt, revealing that her very veiny upper thigh. The red and purple spider webs began pushing upwards out of her skin, protruding into fractals. Suddenly her skin erupted into a geyser of blood and veins, the pain was so great that Shinobu couldn't even register it as he veins literally began floating in midair.

"WHAT IN THE FUCK IS IN THIS FOOD!" Kira roared, looking at the seemingly innocent plate of half-eaten parmigiana di melanzane. Summoning Killer Queen willingly for the first time in years "KILLER QUEEN!"

Killer Queen annihilates the parmigiana di melanzane, causing it to dust away, only leaving behind 2 things, the plate that it was sitting on and what looks like a Tomato with a face, with orange goop dripping down his face, with short green arms. It looked back at Kira before shooting off, going through the door that led to the kitchen.

That is a stand! Go after it Yoshikage! Killer Queen said to Kira.

Without hesitation, without questioning the existence of other stand users, Kira sprinted towards the door, kicking it open with a magnificently loud bang. Kira looked up to see Tonio looking at him, confused, in the middle of chopping up a carrot into a big stew pot; surrounding the Italia Chef, were many more of those Tomato shaped stands, and Tonio himself was emitting a light orange aura.

It's his stand… Killer Queen said.

"Yoshikage? What ar- ACK!" Tonio was interrupted by Kira jamming his thumb into the divot in his neck, causing him to stumble backwards.

Kira dragged Tonio through another backdoor and into an alleyway where he threw the chef onto a neighboring brick wall, wanting to send a message, a warning. Tonio jumped a bit as he saw Killer Queen's materialized pink and black arm, punching the area of the wall very close to his head.

"WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY AND SHINOBU'S FUCKING FOOD! TELL ME, OR SO HELP ME GOD I WILL TEAR YOUR SPINAL CORD OUT OF YOUR BACK!" Kira roared at Tonio who was still cowering, pressing himself by the wall.

"I- If- you wil- will let me- me explain…" Tonio tried to reason with the furious Kira.

"THEN START EXPLAINING!"

Tonio gulped.

"You can see my stand, Pearl Jam, it- it heals physical ailments when I use it as an ingredient in my cooking. I can easily identify chronic sicknesses with palmistry-" Kira quirked an eyebrow. "Uh- PALM READING!"

"Okay, so, what the fuck did Shinobu explode into blood?" Kira quieted down, but there was still an inferno of hate going through his tongue.

"She was suffering from Spider Web Veins, so Pearl Jam needed to realign the veins more under the skin…" Tonio explained.

Kira calmed down a bit, his face was less red, but he was still huffing like a dog on a hot day.

"You're angry…" Tonio pointed out.

"Of course, I am angr-"

"You like her…"

Kira paused; redness was flaring on his face. He was never directly called out about it, because he never thought it was that big of a deal.

"Come… Let me show you something…"

Tonio cautiously led Kira back into the kitchen, and they both hid behind the door looking at Shinobu who was sitting alone, happily finishing Kira's parmigiana di melanzane, oblivious to the fact that Kira disappeared.

"Shinobu was suffering from dry tear ducts, a decayed tooth, spiderweb veins, and depression. Pearl J-"

"Wait, wait, wait, wait… Depression?" Kira eyed Tonio.

"Depression can be masked by any emotion, so to help her, Pearl Jam gave her a serotonin boost." Tonio explained to Kira, who was too busy staring at Shinobu's beauty. "Also, I gave her a boost in hormones."

Kira eyed shot wide open to stare at Tonio, who's face had a smirk on it. "Tonio, no-"

"Tonio yes! This will help her begin to fall in love with you…"

Kira slapped his forehead in disappointment and embarrassment, dragging it down his face until it fell off his chin, then he looked at the palm of his hand. He remembers the electrical shocks he felt when Tonio inspected his palm. He was about to ask Tonio, until he turned around to find Tonio grinning stupidly with a large block of soap in his hand.

"Tonio? Why do you have soap?" Kira deadpanned, confused.

"Intruders in my kitchen bring in bacteria from the outside, now you must scrub down my entire kitchen from top to botto-" Before Tonio could finish his sentence he found that block of soap in his mouth, and he was biting down on it. He looked to see the same pink and black arm from earlier coming out of Kira and was holding onto the soap.

"Killer Queen is my stand, and it has the ability to erase anything. Anything. So, this conversation, this interaction we had never happened… Understand."

"Noted…" Tonio tried to muffle out, putting up the "okay" sign with his hand.

Kira walked away from Tonio, approaching Shinobu with a warm face, but deep down, he was talking to the darkest part of himself.

(Killer Queen…)

Yes?

(The weird shock I felt when Tonio touched my palm… What was that?)

The Souls of Stand Users connecting with each other…
