Hey everyone!

This is a request for my tumblr friend, Bubblegumlover99, by Park Ryder.

Sorry it's so short but it's the best I can do; plus I want to see Margaret and CJ as friends again.

She loves Regular Show like I do and she's a really sweet person. Enjoy!

I don't own Regular Show or the characters.

"CJ Wait!"

After the dramatic verbal confrontation with Margaret, CJ stormed out of the arena and into the parking lot where Mordecai followed behind her.

"Just leave me alone, Mordecai!" She fumed in anger, " I wanna be alone!"

"Not until I tell you something!" He ran ahead and stopped in front of her with a stern look on his face, "Listen, I get that you are angry but just at least hear me out for one second."

CJ took a deep breath to calm down and looked at her friend but her eyes still kept that glare of betrayal in her eyes.

"Look, I get that Margaret lied to you and she shouldn't have done that but I do know she only did it so she wouldn't make you upset again and cause trouble. Plus your not exactly Miss Perfect yourself either."

"Excuse me?!" CJ turned into an angry grey again, "What is that supposed to mean?!"

Mordecai glared back and replied, "She had to lie cause the last time you two were at the same place at the same time, you went into a jealous rage that nearly killed her parents and ruined the party! Does that mean anything to you?!"

CJ stopped being angry when she realized he was right; she nearly destroyed everything and everyone in sight. And it was all because she assumed the wrong thing and went completely nuts.

"Oh man..." she moaned in sadness, "You're right Mordecai, I screwed up everything and now look what happened. What am I gonna do now? Margaret probably hates me for blowing up at her..again!"

Mordcai places a gentle arm around her shoulders and said, "Now that's not true. She feels just as bad as you do."

"Really?"

"Yeah." He nodded, "Maybe if you just go to her and talk about it, you'll see she just wants to patch things up too."

CJ thought carefully for a moment and realized her friend is right; she can't be mad at Margaret forever and they should patch things up before it's too late.

"You're right, Mordecai." She agreed, "I better work things out withMargaret right now. Thanks for talking sense into me."

"Anytime." Mordecai gives her a gentle hug, "Anytime you need help, I'll be there for you."

"Thanks again." CJ smiled before letting go, "I'll see you later, okay?"

The two friends said goodbye and CJ went home to calm down a little more until she was ready to talk to Margaret again. After several unanswered calls, CJ decided to drive to Margaret's apartment and try to apologize for what happened. One CJ has arrived, she went up to the door and was about to knock when he paused for a moment; her inner thoughts are going back and forth in her mind, making her doubt herself.

"What if she hates me? What if she'll never forgive me? What if something goes wrong?"

She shook her thoughts and told herself, "No! I can't chicken out now! If I'm gonna at least try to be friends with Margaret, I have to apologize for acting like a psycho all the time."

Gathering her courage, CJ knocked on the door three times and waited before it finally opened and Margaret appeared in the doorway.

"CJ?" The robin said in surprise, "What are you doing here at this hour?"

"Listen Margaret," CJ took a deep breath before continuing, "I wanted to say...I'm sorry for the way I acted; not just with tonight but all the times you and I have interacted. I guess I acted too jealous around you but I never should've hurt you or endanger you at all. It's alright if you don't forgive me but I wanted to make sure you know that I'm very very sorry."

While she still felt sad and humiliated from tonight's events, Margaret could tell that the girl standing before her was very honest and sincere about how she felt. She knew part of everything that's happened was her fault too and knew she couldn't deny it any longer; that and she actually wanted to be friends with CJ but everything has always gone wrong because of her own insecurities.

"It's okay, CJ, I'm not upset with you. And I guess I wasn't any better either." Margaret said as she looked away and rubbed her arm, "To he honest, it feels hard to hang out with my friends cause of I'm afraid of how they would act. Like with the party and the double date."

"Hey don't blame yourself. I guess we all acted a little jealous and lonely at least once in our lives. But what do you say we start over? Wanna be friends?"

CJ held out her hand and while Margaret hesitated for a moment, she realized she can't let her own fears keep her from having friends. With a warm smile, she gave CJ a hug.

"Friends for life." She said.

CJ was a little surprise at first but she hugged back and was happy things were finally looking up.

"Thanks a lot."

"No problem." Margaret lets go and opens the door a little more, "Would you like to come inside? I can make us some hot chocolate."

"Sure, I'd like that." CJ agreed and went inside.

They went inside and had a nice talk over hot chocolate; while they talked about regular things, they also got to know each other better.

Afterwards, they agree to do some girl days when they have the time, exchanged numbers, and cause it was so late, Margaret allowed CJ to stay the night and watch movies together.

Thankfully, they buried the hatchet and formed a new friendship, all thanks to the blue jay who knew them well.

(The End)
