Chapter Fourteen: Coming to Terms

"Hey Kira, you ready?" Johnny asked Kira from the living room area. She was straightening her short hair. For whatever reason, he didn't know. Her bedhead was super cute to him, but this was their special date.

He was honestly shocked that he won, the move Ray did with her was fairly impressive. But he wasn't gonna complain about extra time alone with her, especially since tomorrow they would all go their separate ways again.

"Yeah!" Kira called out from the bathroom. He peeked in through the crack in the door and saw her fixing up her hair. Her face was fresh and free of makeup, her skin nice and tanned from all the sun. Her hair was slightly lightened from its usual stark black, thanks to the French in her. "Sorry I'm taking so long, these plugs don't like my straightener whatsoever." She sighed and looked over at him, smiling.

He could sense that she was sad, just as he was. This would be such a bittersweet date.

"Don't think that way." She said quietly, hearing his thoughts, and their eyes connected. "We need to enjoy today."

"I know. I'm trying."

Kira stepped out of the bathroom. She was wearing yet another bikini top, because well, why not? Her top was white, making her tan stand out more, with a half-circle cut out in the middle under her breasts. There were matching white bottoms, with a golden chain across the waistband, but over those, she had jean shorts on with the button open. "So... do I look date ready?" She gave a little spin and smiled, Johnny giving her a smile in return.

"You look amazing."

Her cerulean eyes shined, and he took her hand. She slipped on some mauve-colored Birkenstock's and walked out, holding his hand. He was fairly sunburnt on his nose and cheekbones, as well as his shoulders and pecs, his skin not faring as well as hers in the sun, but it actually suited him pretty well. He had on a black wife beater-type shirt, showing off his muscles and tattoos, and some dark blue, almost navy shorts/swim trunks.

"So what exactly are we doing today?" Kira asked him, and he grinned.

"That is for me to know, and you find out when we get there me dear." He winked and she sighed. He knew she hated surprises, but this was one she'd like. "I promise you're gonna have fun, alright?" She rolled her eyes and smiled.

"Fine. As long as you're not making me sit in a spa." She giggled and they walked off the pier and headed over to where a boat was waiting for them. "What is this...?"

"Taking a boat to a special island, going ATVing, and then having lunch in the ocean." Johnny grinned at her. "Maybe even doing a bit of snorkeling." Kira clasped her hands together and smiled.

"Oh wow! That sounds so exciting!" Johnny knew it would be her perfect day, and he was right.

They took the boat out to the smaller island which was about a ten-minute boat ride and Kira squealed with excitement seeing the ATVs waiting for them near the beach. The boat pulled up to the pier and the two walked over to continue their date.

"Ready, Ki?" Johnny asked her as they climbed on the ATV and she nodded, holding onto her helmet as he sped off. She yelped excitedly, putting her arm around him as he took off and followed a trail through the forested area of the island. The forested area spit out into a beautiful beach that overlooked the ocean, where she could see the main island of Bora Bora. She leaned her head against Johnny's back, making him smile. 'Hold on tight.' He told her in his mind and she closed her eyes as he went over a huge bump, making them fly into the air.

"Aaaahh!"

"Wooo!" They both yelled out and laughed. They landed back on the ground and Johnny hit the gas again.

'I have to say, this is not what I pictured when I found out you won.' She told him and he shook his head.

'I had to make it special for my best girl.' He replied, and she sighed happily.

He got to a private beach after about five minutes of riding later, and they both climbed off of the ATV.

"We're a bit ahead of everyone else, so I think we have some time to ourselves before they all show up." He helped her take off her helmet. "Wow, you have horrible helmet hair." He laughed and she scrunched her nose at him.

"Yeah? Well so do you! I don't think I've ever seen such flat hair in my life!" She huffed and then giggled at him as he freaked out trying to fix it. They both sat on the beach and listened to the waves as they rolled by. Kira leaned back on her hands and turned her face to the sun. Johnny looked over, admiring her.

Kira could hear other ATVs coming from down by the forest and sighed. She laid back on the sand and looked over at Johnny, squinting from the sun.

"Do you ever wonder what it would be like if I had never met the BladeBreakers?"

"All the time." He continued to watch her. She sighed and closed her eyes, looking back towards the sky.

"I've been thinking about that a lot lately. What if I had just told my grandfather 'no' when he asked me? What if I had just stayed in Paris with Oliver or in Scotland with you?"

"Do you ever wish it was that way?" He asked her, and she placed her hand on the stab scar.

"When it comes to things like this... sometimes. But then again, I feel as though everything is working out the way it should. Kai wouldn't have met Luna if I didn't join the team... Lucy wouldn't have met Max..."

"You wouldn't have met Ray..." Johnny added and she looked over at him.

"Yeah..." She whispered. "Sometimes I wonder if I made a mistake by inserting myself into their lives but..." She shook her head. "Everything feels right, at the same time. I definitely would regret not knowing them..."

"I think that's your answer then, Ki." Johnny replied softly, and the rest of the couples drove up to where they stopped.

After a bit more riding around the island, they rode back to where the boat was and loaded back up on it to go snorkeling. Kira looked at him as they got suited up.

"I thought you didn't want to get in the water."

"Hey, I was promised no sharks. No sharks, I'm good." He grinned at her as he put on the mouthpiece to his snorkel gear and waddled over in his fins to the water.

"Umm... you know where sharks live, right?" She asked him, following after then put in her mouthpiece, and they both scooted off the boat and into the water.

Kira was just as amazed as last time as they swam in the water. This time around, there were so many colorful fish such as angel fish and butterfly fish. The fish danced around in the water, and Johnny grabbed Kira's hand, pulling her down deeper. There were little eels popping out of some coral and Kira saw a fairly large sea turtle swimming down below them.

'Johnny!' She called out to him, and pointed. He started to swim down towards it, and she followed. 'This is so beautiful... thank you for bringing me out here.' She wanted to cry from how beautiful it was down in the ocean, but doing so with her goggles on was a horrible idea, so she contained her emotions.

'Kira...' She saw Johnny staring behind her, and she turned to see a huge manta ray swimming towards them.

'Oh... my... God...' Kira's eyes widened, and she swam out of the way of it, and then followed slowly after it. Johnny smiled, watching her. She was an animal lover, through and through. Seeing her in awe of all of these animals just made his heart swell. They got to swim around for about thirty more minutes before it was time to head back up to the boats and head back to the small island for lunch.

The lunch was set up in small canopies in the water, so the table was raised, but the seats were in a low tide, calm area of the ocean. Kira 'cheers'ed a cocktail drink with Johnny and smiled as they both took a sip. Her hair was still slicked back from being wet, and Johnny's somehow was defying gravity and dried... upwards?

"I think this may have been the best date I've ever been on... hands down." She set her glass down and he reached across the table to squeeze her hand.

"There could be more where that came from... you know that." He raised his brow at her and she sighed. "I know, I know.. I'm sorry."

"If I could turn my feelings off for him, I would Johnny. But I can't, and you know that."

"Maybe... maybe after you guys are done with whatever BladeBreaker business you have going on... you come back to Scotland and make yourself forget. And I'll help you."

"Yeah... that didn't work out so well before. Besides... we already tried being in a relationship, remember?"

"We were kids, Kira."

"It doesn't change the fact that there was a distinct reason it didn't work." She looked at him, taking another sip of her drink and sighing. She motioned between them. "There's no privacy here. And you couldn't even wait..." Kira looked over as the waiter dropped off their seafood platter appetizer. "Thank you..." She smiled at the waiter and quietly started to munch on the items. "You cheated on me, Johnny... Because I wasn't ready." Kira looked up at him. "Don't think I forgot."

Johnny sighed, looking away as he pulled a prawn out of its' shell and munched on it. He was hoping that she forgot. Besides... it wasn't like Ray was a saint.

Kira and Johnny came back from their date and Ray looked over as they walked towards their bungalow. They didn't... look happy. Maybe that was a good sign. Ray had come out to the beach to lay on a chair and relax until they got back... honestly he just wanted to see how their date went and Oliver had come to lay next to him a bit later.

Oliver looked over at him and raised his brow, lowering his sunglasses.

"You seem to have a vested interest in everything Kira has been doing lately..." Oliver spoke to him softly. Ray half-jumped because he wasn't expecting it. "Don't think I didn't notice you almost kissing her at yoga yesterday."

Ray sighed and looked at him.

"You don't have many chances left. While I don't think she'll ever stop loving you... her capacity to accept what is happening and what you've been doing is growing more limited every day."

"I... I want to be with her." Ray answered simply, and Oliver's brows raised.

"I wasn't expecting you to be so straightforward. You've been doing a lot of that lately..." Oliver sighed and looked at him. "Then be with her. She isn't going to hurt you again. You're honestly being a fool when it comes to this."

"I'm not scared of her hurting me... I'm scared of messing things up.."

"Well, you're doing a damn good job at messing them up as it is!" Ray's eyes widened. Oliver never cursed. Oliver sighed. "I've been rooting for you two ever since I noticed how you were when you were on tour together. You two are something special, and Kira is going to close her heart to you if you're not careful. I do not want to see that happen because then you will both end up with the wrong people." Ray stared at him and then sighed and nodded.

"You're right. I need to stop being scared-"

"and show her how you feel." Oliver's brow raised and he smiled at Ray. Ray wasn't a dick like his friend Johnny was... he was just an idiot in love who didn't know what he was doing. "Do you love Kira?"

"Yes... I have for a long time. I've never met anyone like her, it's hard not to."

"Do you love... Salima?" Ray thought about it for a second but sighed, and shook his head. He hadn't even asked himself that question. But he didn't have to think long because he knew the answer.

"...no."

"Then I think we both know what you need to do."

Ray and Kira sat on the edge of the pier like they had each night for the past few days before they went to bed. It had almost become a ritual for them. Ray just enjoyed being in her company, even if they weren't talking, it reminded him of the peace that they had before their whole relationship went to... well... shit.

Kira had her fruity little drink like usual, but this night things were tenser between them than normal. He heard her silently sigh and knew she was probably thinking the same things he was.

When they got back to Japan, what would everything be like? Would they go back to barely talking? Would she and Johnny become a couple? He noticed how much closer the two had grown since Johnny had first visited for her birthday. And while he had no room to complain... it worried him.

He had already decided he was going to break up with Salima when they got back to Japan. He would have done it during their trip but... he already made a huge mistake breaking up with Kira the way he did. He didn't want to do that again and leave himself ridden with guilt to cause more issues with him and Kira.

"Well.. I guess I'm gonna go get some sleep. The flight is early and I don't wanna be exhausted. I'm gonna try to actually stay awake on the plane this time." She looked at Ray and gave him a sad smile, taking one more sip of her drink until there was nothing left but ice. She sighed and stood up, wiping off her bum. Her head felt all fuzzy and she shook it. "Ah, I think I had one too many." Ray stood as well and watched her take a step.

"Kira..." He spoke softly and she turned to look at him. The way she looked tonight... on top of all of the feelings he had reacknowledged... he couldn't help himself. He took the few steps over to her and carefully lifted her chin, looking into her beautiful, sea-blue eyes. He could see the hurt and fear that she still held deep inside them, and it hurt him deep in his soul knowing that she was still suffering.

Suffering because of him.

"Ray, what are you-" She whispered back and he pulled her face up to his, softly kissing her. She gasped and tensed up, and felt her emotion overtaking her within seconds. Kira reached her hand up, grabbing onto the back of his neck, pulling him down closer to her. He deepened the kiss, and that feeling of electricity that she had missed so much ran through her from their kiss. She moaned softly and twisted her hand into his hair from the base of his neck. She pulled away, her breaths heavy. "Ray... Salima..." Kira felt tears coming to her eyes and shook her head. "I can't..."

"I'm ending things with her as soon as I can. I should have done so weeks ago... I never meant for it to go on this long." Ray shook his head in return. "I'm so sorry..." He could see tears threatening to escape her eyes, and he clenched his own shut, pressing his forehead against hers. "Please don't cry.. it kills me when you cry.." Kira closed her eyes and sighed.

Would he break up with her though?

Kira should have resisted him. She should have kept walking when he called out her name.

Mariah was wrong. She didn't have a "power" over him. He had a power over her. Every part of her body ached for him. The kiss had given her a high, one she hadn't felt in so long.

"How can I know that you'll do that?" Kira reopened her eyes and Ray did the same. He pulled his face back from hers.

"I have no other way to prove it to you, than for it to actually happen. I just need you to trust me, Ki..." Ray whispered the last bit and she stared into his eyes. She couldn't see into his mind like she could Johnny's. She could always tell when Johnny was lying to her. She looked away, towards the ocean.

She was scared.

"Hey.." Ray rubbed the side of her face with his thumbs and recentered her gaze onto him. "I love you, Kira. I was foolish to think that anyone else could even come close to you in my heart." She felt herself shake as he spoke, and he kissed her again. "I'm so glad you asked me to come on this trip. It helped me to open my stubborn eyes. Everyone told me I was being a dumbass, and I knew that I was... but I couldn't admit it to myself."

"I love you too, Ray..." She whispered. "I never stopped." He felt himself smile and pulled her into another deep kiss. She sighed and felt her knees buckle as the electricity from him flowed through her body, straight to her core. Ray opened his eyes and looked past her as he heard a commotion coming from a little further down the short pier.

He backed them up to the edge, and whispered, "hold your breath." She looked at him confused as he grabbed her hand and jumped into the ocean, pulling her with him. Kira gasped as they came up for air, but she grabbed onto him, wrapping her legs around his waist.

"Holy shit..." She looked up at him and brushed his wet moppy hair out of his face and saw him light up with delight, then he laughed. "You couldn't have given me a warning?!"

"Sorry..." He chuckled, holding onto the edge of the pier as they bobbed in the water. "I wasn't ready for this moment to be over."

"Johnny can hear everything we're doing and saying, you know." She raised her brows, gauging his reaction, and Ray sighed.

"I kind of figured..." He looked down at her and used his pinky to brush some wet hair out of her face. "That doesn't change what I said though. I meant all of it."

"Me too..." She whispered. Kira lifted herself up, pressing herself against him. "I still feel guilty though..." He shook his head.

"Don't. Salima's been keeping her own secrets... plus she didn't feel bad about stealing me away from you." Kira frowned and looked away hearing this. Ray sighed, lifting her chin. "It doesn't make any of it better, but, I was still mad at you. None of what happened was your fault, except maybe kissing Johnny, but I needed time to process everything after hearing what really happened at the hospital." Kira pressed her lips together in a line.

"While fucking someone else... right next door to me."

"Yeah..." Ray sighed and closed his eyes. "I'm an idiot." He shook his head. "It should have never happened, and I regret every moment of it."

"I don't think you realize how much that hurt me, Ray." Kira's eyes flitted with tears again. "I could handle you dating someone else. I figured you needed time... but then you slept with her and..." Ray stayed silent, letting her speak her mind. "it felt as though I wasn't good enough for you anymore. I gave my whole self to you again after everything that happened and... you showed up a few days later with her after we had been sleeping together for I don't know... a week..." He nodded.

"I know..." He sighed. "I wanted to hurt you like you hurt me when I saw you with Johnny at the ball... but that completely backfired. I did way more damage. And I know now that it was a stupid decision..." Kira stared at him and could see the sincerity in his face.

"Hurting each other is never the way to go..." She closed her eyes and kissed him again feeling his free arm come under her ass and he squeezed her cheek. She squealed into the kiss and pressed herself closer to him. She could feel his length twitch against her own sensitive area. "I truly do love you Ray... and I really hope you're being honest. I want to believe in you..." She paused and looked back towards the bungalows, scowling. "I have to go, Johnny won't get the hell out of my head." She narrowed her eyes and he figured she was cursing Johnny in her mind, and then she looked back at Ray with a small smile. "We'll continue this back in Japan." She grabbed onto the ladder that led out of the water and pulled herself up. "Goodnight." She smiled and then hurried back to the bungalow, waving at him as he returned to his own. Kira closed the door behind herself.

"Ray's not a dumbass, you're a dumbass," Johnny called out to her from the bed. She could feel in his mood that he was annoyed and mad at her, and she sighed. "Do you think he's actually going to do it?" Johnny flipped to the next channel on the TV. Kira leaned against the wall next to the bathroom, watching him. Water droplets fell from her clothes onto the floor beneath her.

"...I don't know. But I have to have hope that he will."

"I doubt it." His legs were crossed and Johnny's top leg was shaking, which was his tell-tale sign of being irritated. "Why end things with her when you're letting him have his cake and eat it too?"

"Johnny!" Kira glared over at him and Johnny hopped off of the bed.

"Am I wrong, Kira?" He stormed over to her, putting one arm to the side of her head against the wall behind her. "Just look at you. Having to hide in the ocean so no one sees you because your ex-boyfriend has a girlfriend, yet you're still making out with him, grinding on him. You may as well have had sex with him out there!" Johnny's looked away briefly, letting out a frustrated sigh, and then looked into her eyes. "If it were me, I would have broken up with her before I even had that conversation with you. Hell, I wouldn't have even dated her." Kira could feel his rage growing every second, which made her own blood start to boil.

"It's none of your business, Johnny! I didn't even ask you!" Kira tried to turn to the bathroom and Johnny grabbed her shoulder stopping her. "Let go of me..."

"I don't want to see you get hurt from him again." She turned her head so she could see him out of the corner of her eye. "He completely broke you last time. I can't... I can't keep picking up the pieces that he leaves behind."

"Then don't. I'm not asking you to." She pulled her shoulder away, shut the bathroom door behind her and Johnny stared at the door. He growled to himself, grabbed his phone, and stormed out of the bungalow. She heard him cursing in her mind and sighed.

The next morning came too fast for everyone. Kira could hardly sleep because of everything that had happened, Kai and Luna were sucking up the remaining alone time that they had... and everyone else was just sad about the vacation being over.

Kira left her bungalow early and headed over to the BladeBreakers' bungalow before any of them were even up.

"Rough night?" Max asked coming out of his room. He saw Kira sitting at their kitchen table with her arms crossed, glaring out at the water.

"You could say that..." She murmured, and he grabbed an orange juice bottle from the fridge and sat across from her.

"Wanna talk about it?" He leaned on the table, his chin resting on his hand. She looked over at him and giggled. He had horrible bed head, but the rest of him looked fresh.

"It looks like you had a rougher night than I did." She sighed and looked away again. "Would... would you think I'm an idiot if Ray and I got back together?" She bit her lip and looked at him, seeing the surprise on his face.

"Uhhhh..." He coughed quietly and took a long drink of his juice. "I didn't even know that was an option." Max leaned forward and whispered, "Does Ray know you're considering this?"

Kira laughed and rolled her eyes. "No Max, I'm just deciding for him." He snickered and shook his head.

"I'm just messin' with you." He took another drink of juice and set it down on the table. "I don't think you're an idiot. Everyone at the house can see how miserable he is with Salima. I think even Salima knows. Their relationship dynamic is completely different than yours was."

"Can I... tell you something with there being no judgment?" Max nodded, and Kira sighed. "Umm.. Ray and I made out last night.. granted it was fueled by alcohol-"

"and emotions." Max cut in for her and she sighed.

"Yes, and feelings. I can't help but feel a wave of guilt. He says he's going to break it off with her... but Johnny told me how much of an idiot I am for trusting him to do that." She shook her head. "I don't know what to think." Max tapped his chin, looking up towards the ceiling and then back at her and smiled.

"I wouldn't take what Johnny says so seriously. He clearly doesn't like Ray, for obvious reasons. I wouldn't like Ray either if I were him. You came home to Johnny after having your heart broken. He only saw and heard your side of things, you know?" Max placed his hand on hers and smiled. "I think we all can see how much Ray loves you. Like, it's clear as day to us. I think it actually makes Kai sick." Max laughed. "Just... give him some time. Don't rush into anything." Kira nodded and shifted in her seat when she saw Ray coming out of his room.

"Understood..." She looked over as Ray smiled at her, and she gave him a small one in return. "Thank you, Max." He nodded and patted her hand standing back up.

"Want some breakfast?" Ray asked her from the fridge and she leaned back in her chair and nodded.

"Sure... thank you." She smiled as he looked at her.

At the small airport, they were all getting ready to part ways. Johnny was blatantly ignoring Kira while she was hugging and saying goodbye to the Majestics.

"I'm gonna miss you guys." She smiled at them, giving them each a hug. She worked her way down the line and then stood in front of Johnny. "Johnny, I'm going back to Japan and I don't know when I'm going to see you again..." He still didn't say anything so she pulled on his sleeve. "Johnny Alexander McGregor!" He sighed and turned towards her.

"Bye." He gave her a short, one-armed hug and she shook her head.

"I know you're mad at me, but come on." She could tell he wanted to look over but was resisting all temptation.

"We gotta go guys." Oliver frowned at the two.

'Don't do this...' Kira nagged at him in his head.

"-already running late." She heard Robert chime in as the boys were loading up on the plane.

"Fine." Kira huffed and turned back towards the BladeBreakers and crossed her arms.

'Love you...' She heard Johnny's deep voice in her head and she looked over as he walked up on the plane and she rolled her eyes.

'Love you too... regrettably.'

The BladeBreakers waited for their plane, which this time they would be flying commercial. Luckily there weren't many people flying with them, so they still had a bit of privacy.

Kira's seat was near the front and after everyone had boarded, Ray got up and sat next to her. Thankfully the one next to her was empty.

"Mind if I sit here with you?" She gave him a small smile and shook her head.

"Be my guest." He sat down next to her and lifted the armrest between them.

'Ummmm... hi, what have I been missing?' Luna texted her from behind them, and Kira blushed, turning her phone off. Kira felt the back of her chair get kicked, so she sat on her knees and turned around.

"Do you mind?!" She glared at Luna over her seat and Luna motioned to Ray, and then made an exasperated gesture. Kira mouthed to her 'I'll explain it later!' and plopped back down into her seat, leaning into Ray.

"What are you working on?" He asked her, and she turned her laptop screen towards him.

"Music. As usual." She smiled. "Wanna listen?" He nodded so she lowered the volume and played it for him.

"This reminds me of Clarity." He looked at her and she nodded.

"The anniversary of its' release is coming up so my team wanted me to release something that sounds similar." She hummed the melody of the lyrics quietly with the music, and he could feel goosebumps forming on his arms. (365 by Katy Perry and Zedd) "I think about you, all the time, 24/7, three six five." She sang the lyric and then covered her mouth and giggled. "Whoops."

"I think this may be a new hit. That melody is addicting." He bumped into her lightly with his shoulder and she smiled.

A few days went by after they had returned, Kai had them running ragged again with training, although none of them had really complained either.

They all had a major reset, and for the most part, all felt great.

Ray had been so busy with training, he hadn't had a chance to reach out to Salima, and when he wasn't training, he was accompanying Kira to her other practices since her bodyguard was out of town.

"It's soooo nice out today." Tyson came inside from out, where Kira was sitting on the floor stretching and doing yoga in the living room.

"I know, it's like we brought the weather from Bora Bora with us." She had one leg bent and the other one straight, and she was reaching holding onto her foot with one hand and had her other arm stretching over her head. "You should ask Ray if he wants to barbecue."

"Why don't you ask him? You guys have been so close since we got back. It's like you guys never leave each others' sides." Tyson sat on the floor and mimicked her stretching and winced trying to stretch like her. "Owww! How the hell are you so bendy?!" Kira giggled and stood.

"Come on Tyson, let's try something else. Let's put those newly found abs of yours to the test." Kira patted Tyson on his stomach and stretched out her shoulders before sitting back on the floor on her knees and waited for him to follow her. "Okay... just watch me and then follow my movements." Kira took a deep breath before putting her forearms on the ground and slowly lifted the lower half of her body in the air with her legs straight up.

"Holy crap! I can't do that." Tyson sighed and she turned her head to look at him.

"You gotta... at least try."

"No way man! That's not-" Ray laughed as he and Max walked into the living room with Lucy and Ray stopped mid-sentence, seeing Kira and Tyson. Kira heard them and looked over. She made eye contact with Ray and smiled.

"Can you come to hold my legs? I keep falling over on this move." Ray looked at the other two who raised their brows at him.

"Uhh.. sure." He walked over and stood back as she kicked her legs up, then he walked over keeping an eye on her pose. She slowly lowered her back leg and arched the other one.

"No way in hell I can do that!" Tyson raised his legs up, and was trying to copy her, but started to lose his balance. Ray rushed over and caught Tyson's legs, chuckling.

"We need to work on your balance too, I guess."

After she finished, Kira twisted her body back to its original position, and sat up, letting out her breath. Her face was flushed, and she smiled up at Ray. "Ty's being a big baby. Will you barbecue today? It's so beautiful out, and you haven't cooked for all of us in a while." Ray held out his hand to her to help her stand and pondered for a second.

"Pleeeeeease Ray?" Tyson whined in the background and Ray chuckled.

"Alright, fine. But only if you come shopping with me, Kira." He smiled at her with a playful glint in his eye and she watched him as he walked off with Max and Lucy. Lucy looked back at Kira and wiggled her brows, then winked.

"Guess I better go get changed so we can feed you, Tyson." Kira smirked over at him and Tyson snickered.

"Told you he'd do anything for you." She smacked him on the shoulder which made him laugh louder.

Kira hurried over to her apartment and hopped in the shower. She wanted to look cute. Cute enough where she would catch his attention, but not too over the top.

He hadn't made any advancements on her since they had come back from Bora Bora, meaning he probably hadn't talked to Salima yet.

She decided on a mauve-colored sweater that had a low cut v in the front, with a mauve, light pink, and black plaid skirt, and black velvety thigh-high boots to match. She lightly curled her short hair and did her makeup so her eyes would stand out as usual with thick black liner, lilac eyeshadow, and nude lips.

Once satisfied Kira left the house and hurried back to the BladeBreakers' house. "Hey, I'm ready to go whenever you are!" She called out.

"Okay, I'll be down in a sec!" Ray replied from his room and she sighed, feeling nervous.

"Why am I so nervous?" She sighed and heard the front door open. "Kai? Luna?" She looked in the hall and felt her heart stop. The footsteps grew closer to her, and she heard herself gulp, and nausea hit her like a train. Kira also heard steps from behind her.

"Salima?" Ray asked from the top of the stairs.

"So you are back..." Salima raised her brow and looked from Ray to Kira. "Isn't this a cute picture?" She crossed her arms over her chest and Kira bit her lip, looking over at Ray who had come down the stairs. "What? Are you guys going on a date?" Salima walked over to Ray. "Could have sworn you had a girlfriend."

"Salima-" Ray started.

"No matter." Salima smiled, cutting him off, and looked at Kira clasping her hands together. "I actually have someone I want you to meet." Salima went back to the hallway and Kira looked over at Ray and made a motion saying 'what the fuck?' silently to him and he shrugged and shook his head.

"This is my friend, Kane." Salima came back into the living room with a man around their age. He looked honestly like a mix between Ray, Johnny, and Kai. He had dark blue/black spiky hair, with similarly colored eyes. He wasn't too bad on the eyes either. She smiled and pushed Kane towards Kira, and the dark blue-haired boy blushed. "Kane's a huuuuge fan of yours, Kira. I didn't even realize it until the other day, and I figured since that booty call of yours, Johnny, left... you'd be free to more, mmmm... options."

"Uhh.. hi..." Kane said to her awkwardly, holding his hand out. Kira cleared her throat and grabbed his hand in a shake.

"Nice to meet you, Kane, I'm Kira." She gave him an equally awkward smile.

"So what're you guys up to today? Double date?" Salima tilted her head and smiled at Ray in a taunting manner.

"Sounds good..." Kira murmured looking over at Ray.

Ahhh. I love this chapter :) I know it's probably not what you all expected, and I didn't want to stop there, but I hope you guys enjoyed! I had to show why Johnny and Kira broke up and also why they would never work out beyond their hookups. Sigh. I've had the 365 song stuck in my head nonstop! Also, she didn't sing it to him, just that one lyric!

There is a lot of exciting stuff coming up soon! I can't wait for you all to read!
