Author's note.
Here's the big moment where we see the first duel of the story. Guess what archetype Moka uses? By the way, this duel will be split into two halves.
Chapter 4
Yuma vs Moka Part 1
"PUT ME DOWN!" Shouted Yuma.
"Are you sure?" Moka asked. Yuma then looked down and reconsidered.
"Actually, DON'T put me down!" Shouted Yuma.
"That's what I thought" Moka grumbled under her breath.
They soon arrived at the at the top of the fanged cliff. Moka flew in through the window and threw Yuma to the floor. He rolled across the floor for a few seconds before he smacked into a bed.
"Ugh, that, was a rough landing" groaned Yuma as he got up. As Moka landed, her arms and legs returned to normal.
"Just be grateful I didn't throw you in here while I was still flying", said Moka. "I have terrible aim when that happens. So, if I were you, I'd be grateful that I didn't have you land on the spiked fence".
"Uuuuuuuhhhh, thank, you", said Yuma. "WAIT! WHY AM I THANKING YOU?! YOU TOOK ME HOSTAGE!".
"If I had taken you hostage", said Moka. "Then why are you still able to move around?". Yuma was about to retort when he realised something; Moka was telling the truth.
"So why did you bring me here?", asked Yuma. "If ya wanted to kill me, ya would've by now". Moka walked close to him, bent down and bit him on the neck.
"OW!" Shouted Yuma. Moka suck his neck for a few seconds and then removed her fangs.
"Jesus", cursed Yuma. "You think you could at least ASK me first".
"You're blood is the best I've tasted in years", said Moka with a sly smirk. "It's just the right blend of bold, smooth, sweet and sour".
"Um, thanks, I guess" said Yuma.
"So, I think I'll keep you" said Moka.
"Keep me?" Asked Yuma.
"Well, I do need to keep a blood supply for my food", said Moka. "And since YOU are the tastiest one I've had, I've decided to keep you".
"I'm no one's snack" said Yuma.
"Like you have the power to stop me", said Moka. "I'm a Vampire, I could literally suck you dry". A red '24' then shon on her collar bone. Astral then appeared beside Yuma.
"Yuma", said Astral. "Do you see what I see?".
"Yeah", said Yuma. "She's got a number card. Okay Moka. I got an idea. How about we duel for it? I win, I go free, you win, I'll stay here forever".
"I agree to these terms", said Moka. "Let's make our way to the gardens. You head their first while I grab my deck. The entrance to the gardens is the stairs in the main entrance". Yuma walked out and took out his phone and texted Tori. They were soon in the gardens. Yuma and Moka both but their Duel Disks on and their Duel Gazers. Moka's Duel Disk had a monster card tray that resembled bat wings and her duel gazer resembled a bat.
"Augmented Reality Vision Link: established" said a computer voice.
"LET'S DUEL!"
Yuma: 4000
Moka: 4000
"I'm going first", said Yuma drawing the top card of his deck. "I place a monster facedown in defence mode and two cards facedown as well. With that, I end my turn".
"Not impressed, let ME show you how it's done", said Moka drawing the top card of her deck. "I summon, Vampire Lady in attack mode". Moka's monster was a woman with turquoise-blue skin, dark green hair tied in a bun and she wore a purple and violet dress with claws on certain parts of it.

"Now, attack his face monster" said Moka. Vampire Lady lunged forward at Yuma's facedown monster. The card then flipped over to reveal Yuma's monster.
Gogogo Golem

Attribute: Earth
Type: Rock

DEF: 1500
"Since Gogogo Golem is in defence mode", said Yuma. "Once a turn, it can protect itself from being destroyed in battle". Gogogo Golem then deflected Vampire Lady's attack.
"Very well", said Moka. "I activate the spell card, hand destruction. Now, we each toss two cards from our hand to our graveyards and draw two cards from our deck". They both send two cards to their respective graveyards before they drew the top two cards of their deck.
'This'll do nicely', thought Moka. "I play the spell card, Call of the Mummy".
"Call of the Mummy?", asked Yuma. "What does that do?".
"When I have no monsters on my field", said Moka. "I can special summon a Zombie from my hand. And guess what? This is a continuous spell".
"This is bad", said Astral. "If we want to stop her from using that spell, we got to either destroy it, or let her keep her monsters on the field".
"So, what do we do Einstein?" Asked Yuma.
"I say we play along for now" said Astral. Tori and the others then arrived at the gardens.
"Yuma!", shouted Tori. "We got your message!".
"Do not interfere" growled Moka as her eyes glowed brighter.
This cause Tori and the others to be frozen in fear.
"I, I can't move" said Tori.
"Neither can I" said Bronk.
"None of us can" said Caswel.
"What did you do to them?" Asked Yuma demandingly.
"I merely frozen them in place", said Moka. "If you want them free, you win this duel. So, for now, I'll place this card facedown and end my turn".
"Then it's my move", said Yuma drawing the top card of his deck. "I play the spell card, trade out".
"Good move", said Astral. "Thanks to Trade Out, you can return one monster from our field to our hand and special summon a monster of the same level from our hand".
"You got that right Astral", said Yuma. "So, I send Gogogo Golem to my hand, to summon Gagaga Magician from my hand". Gogogo Golem then disappeared and in it's place was a magician wearing robes that were coloured black and orange with a mask over his mouth, and chains around his body.

"Now for his special ability", said Yuma. "I call out a level between 1 and 8 and whatever I pick, my Magician's level becomes that. And I choose level 5". A light on Gagaga Magician's belt glowed.

"Next, I summon Gagaga Girl" said Yuma. His new monster was a girl with blonde hair wearing an outfit similar to Gagaga Magician's on she had a skirt, a large ribbon on her waist and carried a phone in her hand.

"You do realise that none of your monsters have enough attack points to take out my Vampire Lady, don't you?" Asked Moka.
"I'm not done yet", said Yuma. "I play the equip spell wonder wand. Thanks to this, Gagaga Girl gains an extra 500 attack points". A wand with a green crystal sphere then appeared in Gagaga Girl's free hand.
Gagaga Girl
ATK: 1000 + 500 = 1500
"Next, I activate Starlight Star Bright", said Yuma. "Thanks to this, if I have two or more monsters on the field with either the same attack or defence, I can choose one of my monsters and change all other monsters to that level. So, Gagaga Girl is now a level 5".
Gagaga Girl
Level: 3 + 2 = 5
"He's got two level 5 monsters" said Caswel.
"I hope he Xyz summons" said Cathy.
"I overlay both Gagaga Magician and Gagaga Girl", said Yuma. Both of Yuma's monsters turned into beams of purple energy and disappeared into a starry, black vortex. "With these two monsters, I build the Overlay Network. I Xyz summon! Number 61! Volcasaurus!". Yuma's new monster was a dinosaur-like creature that was multiple shades of red, yellow and orange. It had wing-like growths on it's back and it's hands were just a single claw each. On it's left peck was the number 61.

"Sweet", said Flip. "He got a Number Card out".
"Now for Volcasaurus' special ability", said Yuma. "By using an overlay unit, I can destroy one monster on your field and inflict you with damage equal to that monster's attack points. Go! Volcanic Roar!". One of the overlay units disappeared into Volcasaurus' mouth and it let loose a roar of hot lava and destroyed Vampire Lady.
"Nice try", said Moka. "But, I play my facedown card, Necro Shield. When I take damage from an effect, I can send one Zombie monster from my hand to the graveyard to negate the damage. So, I send Zombie Master to the graveyard, so my life points are safe". A shield made out of spirits protected her.
"Oh crap", said Bronk. "That's not good".
"I end my turn" said Yuma.
"Then it's my move", said Moka drawing the top card of her deck. "Thanks to my Call of the Mummy spell card, I can special summon one Zombie monster from hand. So, say Guten Abend to Vampire Fraulein, in defence mode". Her new monster was a pale skinned woman that looked to be in her twenties with red eyes and silver hair. She wore an outfit that resembled an evening gown of some sort that primary black with hints of grey, crimson and gold. She carried an umbrella that was black on the outside with a crimson inside.

"Fraulein?" Wondered Cathy.
"It's German for 'Young Lady'" said Caswel.
"Next, I summon Vampire Familiar, in attack mode" said Moka. Moka's next monster was a diamond shaped bat with a singular eye.

"What can that little thing do?" Asked Yuma.
"Nothing much, yet", said Moka. "But, first, I activate the spell card, Double Summon. Now, I can normal summon a second time this turn. So, I tribute my Familiar to summon Vampire Duke". Familiar then flew up into the air and turned into dozens of tiny bats. The bats soon came down and then they formed into a stereotypical Vampire Count.

"Aw man" said Caswel in worry.
"You can say that again", said Flip. "She's got two level 5 monsters".
"I overlay both Fraulein and Duke", said Moka performing the summon. "With these two monsters, I build the Overlay Network! I Xyz summon! Crimson Knight Vampire Bram!". Moka's new monster was pale male with pale, red eyes and turquoise, long hair. He was decked out in light purple armour with red lining and yellow teeth-like growths on it. He also wore a tattered cape and carried a threatening looking sword and shield.

'What's the big deal with summoning him?', thought Yuma. 'He's got the same strength as Volcasaurus. Unless, there must be a special ability I don't know about'.
"What's say we pep him up a bit", said Moka. "I play the equip spell, Violet Crystal. Thanks to this, a zombie monster equipped with this card gains 300 attack and defence points".
Crimson Knight Vampire Bram
ATK: 2500 + 300 = 2800
DEF: 0 + 300 = 300
"Oh no" said Tori.
"Relax", said Bronk. "Numbers can only be destroyed by other Numbers".
"Maybe so", said Moka. "But Yuma's life points are another story. BRAM! ATTACK VOLCASAURUS WITH CRIMSON SWORD SLASH!". Bram then charged forward and slashed at Volcasaurus, only it wasn't destroyed.
Yuma: 4000 - 300 = 3700
"At least Volcasaurus wasn't destroyed" said Kari.
"For now anyway" said Flip.
"I'll set a card facedown and let you take the reigns" said Moka.
"Then it's my move, I draw", said Yuma drawing the top card of his deck. "I summon Gogogo Golem in attack mode". Yuma's golem then appeared on his field.
"And when I normal summon a level 4 monster", said Yuma. "I can summon Kagetokage from my hand". Yuma's new monster was a shadow of a lizard with red eyes.

"He's got two level 4 monsters" said Tori excitedly.
"I hope he has a plan" said Caswel.
"I overlay both Gogogo Golem and Kagetokage", said Yuma performing the summo. "With these two monsters, I build the Overlay Network! I Xyz summon! Maestroke the Symphony Djinn!". Yuma's new monster was a young man with pink hair dressed in a orchestral musician attire that was primarily coloured red and white and had hints of black and gold. He had horn protruding from his hat and he carried a large fencing blade.

"What's that monster gonna do?", asked Moka. "Sing me a song?".
"No", said Yuma. "But his special ability will say other wise".
"Nice thinking", said Astral. "By using an overlay unit, you can flip one attack position monster on our opponent's field to facedown defence position". One of the overlay units around Maestroke then disappeared into his sword.
"Go! Symphonic Sleep!" Shouted Yuma. Maestroke then began to play his sword like a flute. As he did, Bram was flipped facedown.
"GRRRRRR!" Growled Moka in sheer frustration.
"Now! Maestroke! Attack!", shouted Yuma. "Flute Fence Strike!". Maestroke then frosted his sword forward and pierced the facedown monster, destroying it.
"Now, Volcasaurus!", shouted Yuma. "Attack Moka directly". Volcasaurus then released a blast of magma from it's mouth.
"Thanks, you activated my trap", said Moka. "Mirror Force. This card activates when you attack, now, every monster you have in attack mode is destroyed". Volcasaurus' attack then hit an invisible mirror. The mirror then shattered and the fragments then destroyed every monster on Yuma's field.
"His monsters are gone" said Flip.
"Thanks for the bulletin captain obvious" said Bronk.
"Face it, Yuma", said Moka. "You're out matched. You will be my servant and your friends will make wonderful sculptures in the hallway and gardens. You should know that when you fight a vampire, we ALWAYS bite back".
