Chris is a bit of a pushover, she knows this much and her entourage too.
She was not worried too much about it, because no one really took advantage of it... Until now.

Yukine Chris was lying awake in her bed, sheets covering her up to her bare chest as she was still piecing together what of the why and the how of her current predicament.

Well, to tell the truth, the answer to all questions converges into a single one; the other, equally naked body at her side, sleeping peacefully with a soft smile on her face without a care in the world.

If she had to explain how she ended up in such situation, she would have to rewind back to yesterday afternoon.

The day had been going pretty well on its own; finishing an assignment with her two cute and annoying kouhais, she was already in the area so she ended up in charge of them. And while everybody acknowledged their efforts and accomplishment of performing a Unison with anybody, no one was really willing to let them fight alone if it can be helped.

Of course, with such arrangement she is one to deal with the two, reprimanding them a bit for some stunts they had pulled in the middle of battle without warning her first was also part of supervising them. It's in cases like that she would regret Elfnein successfully analyzing the LiNKER recipe or not be paired with the eldest kouhai instead. While she can't say much about her not being as annoying in her own, cute way, adapting her fighting to her is far easier than trying to contain two reckless idiots that could make you crazy over time.

Anyway, who was better to fight alongside was not the concern. What was, is that barely after finishing reporting to the old man, everything began and went downward in an unexpected way.

Hibiki somehow bursting through the door to HQ's bridge shouting her name. Chris barely had any time to react before Hibiki closed the distance between them, seizing one of her arms before leaning her backward in a dip pose.

She had not even fully register what was happening that Hibiki suddenly kisses her in front of everybody. Chris' eyes widening at both; the bold action and the sensation of Hibiki's lips against her own. She tried to push her kouhai back at first, but Hibiki's insistence wore her out faster than she would admit and was kissing back the next moment.

Her surroundings fading away as she let herself melt into the kiss, parting her lips open to allow Hibiki access as her tongue was probing at them, their tongues meeting and wrestling against the other until they finally part away.

Chris's face more flushed than Hibiki, her brain catching up to just what happened before being thrown for another spin as Hibiki asked her a single question.

"Chris-chan, will you go out with me?"

She was certain she heard a chorus of gasp and even some squeals among the others watching them, but she could not pay attention to any of it, unable to tear her gaze away from Hibiki's eyes, it was the most serious expression she has seen her having, aside maybe when fighting, trying to do her homework and eating.

Anyway, she felt trapped, that the only answer that could leave her own lips was 'yes', that Hibiki would not accept anything else.

So she did, she said 'yes' to going out with her or whatever she was implying by it, surely hypothetically becoming her girlfriend judged by the earlier kiss.

And just like that she was swept away from her feet and carried out of HQ with Hibiki informing their unwanted public they were taking the rest of the day off to go on date.

Chris lets out a sigh as she finishes recalling her date from yesterday, it has been great, amazing even. Hibiki really was affectionate to a level she was unable to fight it and still was able to enjoy every moment of it.

She felt loved, more than she thought possible, and possibly deserved to be. Even when they fell into bed together, Hibiki having all intention to go all the way with her, and if the numerous orgasms she experienced throughout the night until passing out was any indication. She might have just struck gold by accepting.

Her musing was interrupted by her bedmates, girlfriend? Nuzzling closer to her, the hand resting on her waist trying to pull her closer.

The relaxed expression on Hibiki's face put an unconscious smile on her face as Chris used a free hand to move some strands of hair away. She has over a hundred questions to ask Hibiki about all this, but ultimately decides to let them to rest for when both would be awake and that her own body wasn't vibrating with praise for her kouhai.

With this decision made, she snuggles against the warm body of the taller girl, relishing in the fact that she was in safe hands, with someone who showed how much she loves her without telling her why and was not going to hurt her in any way, at least intentionally.

'If only I could say the same about myself, hope I don't screw up all this in the long run… or short,' Chris thought before finally falling asleep.
