It was a late afternoon when they decided to make their first raid.
Walking through the docks her eyes were gazing at every person who was working nearby. She stopped and looked at the boy beside her. He looked fine on the outside but she wondered how he was doing on the inside.
The doors opened and they were allowed inside a warehouse. As they walked through the dark entrance she grabbed his arm and stopped him. "The police!" She warned as several officers ran from their cover and surrounded the two of them.
Looking back she realized the people around them were all undercover agents, every gun was now turned on them. "Put your hands in the air and don't make any sudden moves"
She was nervous there was no way they could get out of here without a miracle of sorts. "Tundra let your mighty strength be known" he whispered, only she heard it. She could feel the cold around them. Looking down ice spread everywhere at incredibly fast speeds.
Every police officer became a living popsicle. She blinked as she looked around. No one was spared from this sudden freezing attack.
"Incredible...what did you do?" She asked as he marched forward without looking around, as if this was normal for him.
"Hey I'm talking to you!" She called out as she followed him further inside. Despite being his bodyguard she was starting to feel like it was the other way around.

Smiling in nostalgia she took an arrow from her quiver. Pulling the arrow back she waited. Standing on top of a light post in the middle of the night. No one would suspect a thing.
Two Knightmares approached the spot. Holding her arrow tightly she knew what her objective was. As one of the machines looked up it's guns turned towards her.
A powerful blow to the chest sent the machine on it's back. The second machine retracted it's tonfa. As the pilot ejected the cockpit was then shot down by the remaining Knightmare pilot.
Slowly the Knightmare drove backwards and stopped beneath the light post. It was all silent as they waited. Minutes passed by as they spotted several Knightmares guarding the supply trucks. They were heavily armed and ready for combat.
The single road was surrounded by trees on wither sides. Rows upon rows of light post were meant to facilitate the sight in the single road. Today this would be used against them.
"Ready Marcia?" asked the pilot of rather Chris.
"Of course I'm ready" she sounded very confident as her arrow was aimed at the space between the four Knightmares.
"Operation Hunting Croaks is a go" said Chris as a blue arrow flew and froze the Knightmares up ahead. Accelerating he aimed his machine gun at the enemy. From the bushes at either side of the road, samurai emerged and surrounded the two supply trucks.
Unable to back away in time, they were forced out of their vehicles. Frozen the Knightmares guarding the trucks were gunned down by the single remaining machine.
"Despite being a Glasgow this machine's performance surprises me" with their route clear the men drove the trucks through the frozen street. Collecting his wife Chris escorted his loot back to the base.

"Everything is ready we shall now free Susaku Kururugi" spoke the man dressed in black with a mask on his face. Nervous the only two people crazy enough to follow his stunt awaited on a makeshift truck. Climbing aboard he was grinning from excitement. "drive" he ordered.
VVVvvvVVV
"I've been thinking Chris...maybe it's about time we started fighting back" said Marcia as she stood in front of the Glasgow.
"You've dropped the suffix?" He wondered with a mischievous grin.
"We're no longer in Arabia...and besides you know as well as I do that your father was right" she said with the most passive tone she could afford.
The grin left Chris's face as he stared at her blankly. This was a very sensitive subject but it had to be said. "Look...you have power but unlike him you're not insane, we can make it work we only need to bring the people towards us and-"
"And then It'll be like germany all over again, you weren't there. My units were demolished one after another"
Clenching his hands into fists anger built up inside of him "for five days we struggled against an enemy that seemed to never end" shaking his head Chris could still recall the screams of his minions the blood, the smell and the pain.
"But this time we're ready, if we disable the enemy bases we can aim towards their leaders and cut their heads off." It was logical but Marcia was tired and she wanted to do something big for once in her life.
"..." Letting out a sigh Chris couldn't form any proper argument against her when she was like this. Anything he said would be thrown in his face and she would go alone against the entire army even if it meant her death.
"Give me a few hours" making his way down to his office Chris could already feel the incoming migraine.

"It's unbelievable that this guy thinks we can pull this off" muttered Ohgi as he sat on the driver's seat.
"Freeing Susaku Kururugi...that's something impossible" added the red haired pilot as she sat beside him.
"If you're having second thoughts there's still time to back out" offered Ohgi as he glanced at her.
"I can't let our leader risk his life for nothing, besides I want to see with my own eyes. See if we can really pull this off" she said with a hint of hope.
"Well I better get to my post keep your cool Kallen" said Ohgi as he walked away from the truck. "...if only we could've asked for a little bit more help" her mind wandered to the blue haired archer.
There was still time before the operation. She hadn't informed her since Ohgi said they could only trust in a small circle of people.
"Zero should be arriving soon. Keep calm Kallen"

All was quiet in the Britannian base. Their commander and several officers had left to partake in prince Clovis's memorial. It was a golden opportunity to strike.
One guard spotted an unusual sighting and focused his light on that spot. His eyes narrowed as he leaned closely.
An arrow struck his neck making him fall back and bleed to death. The second tower was occupied by a soldier who was reading a magazine. While he was distracted a samurai opened the door and climbed up the stairs as quietly a she could.
Arriving behind the guard he was beheaded. Grabbing the light post she passed her hand twice giving the signal.
Five Knightmares moved in towards the front gates, followed by a tank and several more samurai. At the very end was Chris and Marcia.
"Every soldier is moving as planned, we will head for their hangar and steal the prototype before the enemy is alerted of our presence" the massive wolf arrived and they climbed on his back.
"Alright Snow, take us to the hangar"
Taking off in a fast run the wolf maneuvered through their troops. Bombs had been set the entrances had been blocked and their supplies were being stolen all was going well.
Maybe too well...
Flares lightened the entire base blinding the attackers. "Move, move, move!" Gunfire could be heard as the enemy troops emerged from the warehouse.
"What the? Did they know of our plan?" Asked Marcia as she looked back at Chris worried. "Impossible...unless they were laying traps in case of their commander being gone. I don't imagine there being an officer with that acute level of planning"
Ignoring their troops which were being gunned down the three headed for the hangar. Melting the door Chris and his companions quickly moved inside. It was absolutely dark inside so they moved fast without wasting time.
Descending the stairs they were blinded as every light was turned on revealing an empty hangar. Soldiers filled the hangar with their guns trained on the trio.
"Crap...this was a trap from the very beginning" muttered Chris.
Smiling from his position a man dressed in white with his long green hair made into a single braid was feeling excited. "Long time no see mister Rook" he greeted with a tone of victory.
As his eyes adapted to the light Chris looked at the man and remained silent. "You must've remembered me by now, in case you haven't" stepping forward his appearance became clear. White uniform and pink eyes with dark skin.
"Who is he?" Whispered Marcia as she tried to find any openings.
"The son of rear admiral Kumar Silver..." He said with a hint of venom in his voice.
"I made it to lieutenant captain, had the prince not died I would've been a commander of my own unit" placing a hand to his lips he grinned. "The one who murdered the prince will pay tenfold when I find them"
"Now Chris hands spread apart and your mouth better be wide open" confused by these demands Marcia looked at Chris and recalled why.
'he cannot cast his chant if his mouth isn't moving!' she thought with horror as she knew something had to be done.
"You four put these restraints on him and if he shows the slightest hint of moving. Kill him"
"Yes sir" taking the chain and a gag ball they approached the three.
The sounds of battle were slowly dying out so their soldiers must've fallen.
Locking eyes with Snow, Chris knew it would understand his command. Grabbing his arms the soldiers were watching his every move. So distracted were they that they failed to notice his foot moving towards the front.
Kicking the man in front of him in the chin he pulled the other two to the floor with him. "Snow run!"
Grabbing Marcia by the back of her shirt the wolf took off for the stairs in which they had entered. "Tundra let you power be known"
With little time to form a plan Chris created a large wall of ice blocking his escape but securing Marcia's.
Surrounded and outwitted he laid on the floor with his limbs sprawled as the soldiers ran towards him.
A brutal beating commenced as the green haired man grinned in pleasure. A single soldier approached him having entered from the outside.
"Lieutenant Silver, all enemy forces have been routed as per your orders" dismissing the man with a wave of his hand he was enjoying the spectacle.

Riding on top of a car Jeremiah the leader of the most racist unit amongst Britannia, was in charge of parading the funeral of prince Clovis.
An innocent eleven had been knelt at his feet given the blame for a crime he had not committed.
"People of Britannia look at the man responsible for our prince's death" from the sides the audience were cursing the existence of the man.
"His name is Suzaku Kururugi the son of the late prime minister of japan" this fueled the peoples anger even more.
But for Jeremiah this was all a bait. He wished to lure a much bigger catch.
The parade was going off without any problems. No one had stepped in so far which made him disappointed.
Keeping a prideful look on his face Jeremiah waited. What he needed was for someone to show up anyone, if no one showed up then the culprit would have to be even smarter than he thought.
"Lord Jeremiah, Vehicle approaching from the highway"* reported a soldier over the radio. *"We let it pass as instructed but..."*
'Were there any problems?' wondered Jeremiah as he glanced at the public. *"It's the late prince Clovis car"*
"What? Never mind this guy's a joker let him through" this was much better than Jeremiah had hoped for. Holding a hand up he needed to see what this man would do.
"All forces halt"
Stopping in the middle of the road. He awaited to see what this man would have planned.
Over the distance the only sound came from the people who whispered in curiosity and the reporters who wanted to know what was going on.
Soon everyone could see it. The white car which belonged to the prince. Was being driven towards them.
Stopping just a few feet shy of a meter. "How dare you dishonor his highness transport, get off" demanded Jeremiah feeling quite offended.
The front flag of Britannia was burnt revealing a man dressed in all black. Everyone was shocked at seeing this man who stood before them in such a strange outfit.
"I am...Zero" he spoke with a neutral tone. Everyone who was turned towards watching the ceremony was now focused on this person only.
'what is he doing?' wondered Suzaku.
The guards posted around the vehicle quickly moved to the front and pointed their weapons at Zero. "Had enough zero, your little show is at an end"
Taking out his gun Jeremiah fired into the sky.
A Vtol unit which flew over head deployed four Knightmares which surrounded the man named Zero.
Outgunned and with no way out everyone was certain this would end soon. "Now, zero take off your mask" said Jeremiah.
A black gloves hand rose towards the mask. Before going higher and snapping his fingers. The back portion of the car broke apart revealing a strange device.
Shocked Jeremiah watched alarmed of what that device might be "what is that?" He asked.
"Lord Jeremiah!" Called out a very concerned soldier as she climbed out of her cockpit.
"No that's-" Suzaku one of the two who knew the truth could not speak as he was jolted by the shackles on his neck.
Jeremiah felt lost. His efforts to lure out the criminal have completely backfired, and now every person present in the parade has become a hostage.
"You...you bastard" the words failed him as he admitted the truth.
"He's taken every Britannian here hostage" he whispered in shock 'without them knowing they are hostages' these thoughts caused an impact in his choices. desperate Jeremiah aimed his weapon at the terrorist.
It might also be a bluff for all he knew. "You'll shoot me? I think you know what'll happen if you try" this was provocation and Jeremiah had no way of taking these risks safely.
"Your demands?" He asked in a very strained voice. "An exchange for Suzaku Kururugi" Zero asked.
"That's absurd" glancing back Jeremiah was curious about the relation between these two. "This man is charged with high treason for the murder of viceroy prince Clovis" focusing on the mask Jeremiah finished in a more neutral voice. "I can't hand him over"
"No, you're mistaken Jeremiah. He isn't the murderer" said Zero.
A cameraman walked into the scene filming everything from up close. "The man who killed Clovis was..." Curious Zero looked at the reporter to know who was brave enough to step into a possible danger zone. "Me" he finished as he stared at the blonde haired man.
"What?"
"it can't be!?"
"Seriously!"
The people spoke in shock unbelieving his words.
"He's gone too far, we can't escape now!" muttered a distraught Ohgi from his cover.
"It's impossible to escape now" mumbles Kallen as her body shook in fear and anger.
"For a single eleven you'll save many precious Britannian lives" it was an offer to impact Jeremiah's pride. "I don't think it's such a bad deal for you"
One man was enjoying this much more than anybody could imagine. It was the blonde haired reporter he simply loved these theatrics, no he lived for these.
'he's playing this whole thing like it's a show' he thought while grinning.
"He's mad I tell you!" Screamed Jeremiah in protest. "Disguising a truck as his highness's personal vehicle!"
"He mock us, we'll make him pay"
"Are you sure about that? Do you want people to know about Orange?" Whispers broke out amongst the crowd as they looked around.
Eye widened as Jeremiah seemed very disturbed.
"What is Orange?" Asked one of the guards behind Suzaku. "I don't know" replied the other.
Tapping the truck twice with his foot the red haired driver approached slowly. "Even if I die it'll all go public, I'm sure you don't want that to happen"
"W-what are you saying?" His voice was quavering as he talked big game.
"If so let us go with all your might, that man you hold captive as well" a small window opened in his mask as his eye shone red only he and Jeremiah could see.
"...understood" muttered Jeremiah, looking back he gazed at Suzaku in an almost bored manner. "Give them the prisoner"
"Lord Jeremiah what did you just say?"
"I said release the prisoner"
Confused the two guards looked at one another. "Should we?" Asked one while the other reached for his keys. "We should"
"Let him have him, nobody shall interfere" announced Jeremiah as he watched the prisoner.
A second Knight opened it's hatch as the pilot emerged feeling enraged. "Are you sure? Making a deal like this"
"Lord Kewell this is an order"
Soon Suzaku was allowed to walk away from his captives. Climbing down from their respective vehicles Zero and Suzaku approached one another.
Every step left him in wonder of who this man could be. "Who the hell-" a jolt ran through his neck keeping him silent. "I wouldn't expect they'd allowed you to speak"
"If they get away we'll be disgraced" said the female pilot as she entered her machine. Jeremiah opened the hatch of the machine in front of him. It was running on a simple automated program. Sitting inside he disabled the program and waited.
"Zero it's time" said the red haired girl as she stood next to the two of them.
"Then we'll talk later" taking out a switch he pressed a button and gas was released from the strange machine.
People ran in terror.
"You cowardly eleven!" Taking aim she pulled the trigger. An arm pushed her weapon out of range as Jeremiah stepped between them. "Lord Jeremiah why!"
"I told you not to interfere" said Jeremiah.
Jumping off the bridge Zero, Suzaku and this driver fell towards an awaiting black sheet. Their combined weights was enough to pull it down towards an opening in the train. "They jumped they must have accomplices"
Following after them Kewel shot a slash harken towards. Building and aimed at an old civilian Knightmare. Opening fire the pilot ejected. "Fools thought you'd escape from amidst our guards.
"Lord Kewell will you follow my order or not!?" Looking to the side Kewel could clearly see the barrel of a gun aimed at his cockpit. There was nothing he could do in this event.
"Any further action will result in punishment! Is this clear to all units" stated Jeremiah as he kept his attention on the rebellious Kewel.
"I'll say this to all units. Let them go with all your might" said Jeremiah with a tone of finality.

Being dropped near a river Marcia laid on her side. She cried as she realized her husband had been captured. It hurt to know that despite all he taught her they still couldn't defeat a single Britannian unit.
The lack of a giant furball made her look up. Snow was as anxious as she was. But they knew it was impossible to fight that many soldier alone.
"If only I hadn't push him so far...he warned me" tears ran down her face as she couldn't bear the blame.
Gazing into the dark sky the wolf was silent.

Within a dark and badly damaged building the resistance was gathered together. They spoke to one another about what happened. Disbelief was clear amongst them however what they wanted to know was if Suzaku would join their cause.
"They treated you pretty roughly" noted Zero as the two stood on the third floor of the building. "Now you know what they're like private Kururugi"
"Britannia is rotten" it was a fact which zero loved to point out. "If you want to change the world them join me"
Suzaku who had been looking over the damaged buildings turned towards Zero. "Did you...are you the one that killed prince Clovis?" He asked
"This is war"
"It is natural to take the life of an enemy commander" continued zero.
"And the poison gas? What about taking those civilians hostage?"
"Just a bluff for the exchange, as a result no one was hurt"
"Results... that's all that matter to you isn't it"
Holding his hand out Zero was very skeptical about this "Join me, the Britannia you serve is a worthless nation"
"That may be true...however" looking at the black mask Suzaku smiled. "I may be able to change it for the better"
"Change it?"
"Because I think the ends are just as worthless as the means to them" said Suzaku as he walked out of the third floor.
"Where are you going?" Asked Zero.
"My court martial begins in an hour" answered Suzaku.
"A-are you mad? The court is set up to go against you" stated Zero slightly irritated.
"Even so those are the rules...if I don't go they'll oppress the eleven's and the honorary Britannians" turning towards Zero he frowned.
"You'll die if you go back" warned zero.
"I want to bring you in but I'm sure you'll shoot me, so I'll die in court after attending"
"You're being stupid"
"a friend of mine used to say i was being stupid all the time" this sounded very nostalgic.
holding back his words Zero almost gave himself away. "i guess it's a personal fault"
With a smile Suzaku walked out on the resistance.
'that fool!' thought Zero in anger.
