Author's Note: Hello everyone, here we are with the next chapter. Please read and review generously. I hope you all enjoy it. I thank all who are following the story, who have listed the story as a favorite, and who have taken time out of their busy lives to review; trust me, it all helps.
We are now at the awaited Waterfront chapter with a hopefully, great battle scene that you all will like and I hope I do it justice. There will be a great many things that will unfold here, and Naruto's life will no longer be the same. And neither will the lives of the heroes.
Another thing I wish to also clear up. I am a big fan of the Naruto anime, and Uzumaki Naruto. However, Naruto will not be written as an overpowering God-like character. The Naruto that is written here is strong, powerful, well-trained with craftiness and the ability to do some crazy, out of the box stuff. If there is no struggle, the story gets boring to read. Without further ado, let us begin.
Chapter Nine- And so the War begins
A cloudy, yet bright day had descended on National City as men, woman, and children had all come to the Water front with some even dressed in black and blue. It was an exciting day for the people who had gathered here as the statue of Supergirl was going to be unveiled by Lena Luthor herself. It was an enormous sense of irony for the people of National City as a Luthor was going to be unveiling a statue of a Kryptonian. Perhaps there was hope yet if a Luthor and a Kryptonian could embrace and have a friendship of their own. Maybe, this one would prove to turn out better than Lex Luthor and Superman.
On a building near the waterfront was Supergirl herself watching out for the people below. She was scanning the ground, the sea, and the sky searching for threats and for that person who had thrown her life into a quandary once again. Her heart was a sea of stormy emotion unlike the people below who were positive and cheerful. Though it was an honor to be praised for her accomplishments, she could not truly enjoy this moment. The loss of Nar-El was still fresh in her mind, and this new look-alike of her lover was driving her crazy.
She was shaken out of her thoughts with the appearance of J'onn who had morphed back into his human form.
Kara sighed. "There is no sign of Bloodsport anywhere."
J'onn nodded. "Its quiet up here, and I like that. On Mars, I rarely flew like this. On Mars, I flew for battle not for pleasure or leisure. However, on Earth, things changed. When I flew for the first time here, I was in the sky enjoying the peace and serenity; the quiet. It was such a balm for my soul."
Kara looked to the sky sadly. "Well, that's not why I am here."
J'onn sighed."Please do forgive me for saying this, but you seem to be courting far too much emptiness of late. That's not you, kid."
"I have tried to be Kara Danvers for fifteen years, J'onn. I realized I am not supposed to be her. She is just a shell, a fake. I was never meant to be human."
"Yet, you have a human heart. It beats, aches, and hurts like everyone in the universe. Don't cut it out of your life Kara. If you do that, you will lose the part of you that is essential."
Kara looked at him sadly. I… cannot help people if I am broken."
J'onn shook his head. "You are not broken, my child. You are the strongest person that I know. Or have you already forgotten how you saved me?"
Kara looked up at him in surprise.
"Don't be so surprised kid. You taught me that my losses made me stronger, not weak. I got all that from Kara Danvers, not Supergirl. Kara Danvers taught me to give up vengeance, not Supergirl."
Kara wiped a tear from her eye.
"J'onn, do you ever still dream about them? Do you ever still dream about your family, you wife and children?"
This time, J'onn looked to the sky. "I dream about them every day, Kara."
She nodded at him. "The past couple of months that I dream, I dream of Nar-El and my mother. They are trying to tell me something, and I am reaching out to them, but I can never quite reach them…"
She shook her head and hardened her gaze. "We need to focus and watch the sky."
J'onn watched her with a sigh. He too dreamed of his mother and father, of his dead wife and children, and his dear brother, Malefic, who he lost to soon. If only he were still alive. Perhaps, he could make amends.

On the ground, Alexandra Danvers, Co-Director of the DEO was busy watching the area, walking among the people as she was keeping an eye out for Bloodsport. This New Year and the past couple of months had been quite interesting for her; some of it good and some of it bad.
The good part was that she was promoted and given new responsibilities and a much higher rank. The bad was losing Maggie. Alex wanted a child so badly and Maggie did not sadly. She was ruled by her own demons and her own pain. Alex thought she could move past this, but she truly could not. Alex and Maggie parted amicably, though it was a sad parting. They had spent the night together for the final time before they parted. And after that day, Alex poured everything into work trying to decipher who this lookalike of Kara's lover was.
She had run into barrier upon barrier, difficulty upon difficulty. Uzumaki Naruto was an enigma, and one that she was finding difficult to believe and understand. There was nothing known about where he was born or his parents. His current residence was even a mystery to her. The only information that she could glean was that he graduated from National City University with incredible grades and with such speed that was humanely impossible. He had acquired multiple degrees in Psychology and had trained to become a therapist.
However, while this information was interesting, it was not enough to satisfy her curiosity. She had learned that Uzumaki Naruto had served in the United States Military as an Army Medic. When she tried to dig further, she was unable to go further at every turn. Apparently, his files and records were sealed, and there was an immense amount of Red Tape surrounding this matter. Despite Winn's considerable capabilities, he was also unable to learn anymore. This matter became such a big deal as the Madam President herself had intervened and came personally to the DEO. She and J'onn had both advised her to stay out of this matter, and not poke her nose into such sensitive topics. While she was skeptical, they both told her that Uzumaki Naruto was not a threat to national security and should simply be left alone.
Though Alex had promised them she would stop looking into this matter, off the books, she had Winn investigate but to no avail. Losing Maggie had been such a stinging blow, and she needed something to keep her mind off things. Between this and her sister's sadness, it was not looking too well.
"Alex, maybe we should just let this go." Winn stated calmly.
"Winn, you don't see this as something alarming? A guy who looks like Nar-El shows up out of nowhere, and when we try to learn more about him, we keep hitting roadblocks. This cannot be a coincidence. This man, something seems fishy about him."
"I get your point, but you heard J'onn and the President. We should not be getting involved in things beyond our pay grade. The MultiVerse theory is real. Perhaps, he's another world's version of our Nar. We can think about these things later. This is a happy day, so happy thoughts."
"I know. Still, I cannot help but wonder what this all means."
Alex was shaken out of her thoughts when a young red-haired, violet-eyed child bumped into her and said sorry as she was running up ahead. She then saw a brown-haired woman approach her as she called out to her daughter.
"Ruby, Rubes, baby come over here."
"I think you owe the lady a proper apology."
"I am really sorry for bumping into you."
Alex chuckled. "Its okay, kid. It happens, no big deal."
"Can I go mom? I want to be up close?" Alex smiled as she noticed that Ruby was quite excited to get a glimpse of her sister. She was humble and honored that people thought the world of Kara.
"Okay. However, not too close that I can't see you."
"I will be close."
Alex turned to the mother. "She is a fun one."
"Thanks. I am just trying to enjoy the microsecond of peace that I have before she becomes a teenager. Bye."
"Bye."
Ruby and her mother had made it into the crowd, as Lena Luthor was ready to be introduced by the speaker of today's event.
"Ladies and gentlemen, without further ado, please welcome the CEO and chairwoman of L-CORP, Lena Luthor."
There was a nice round of applause as Lena approached the microphone.
"Thank you for all being here. Now, I know you all didn't come here to see me talk, so I am going to skip to the good stuff and then just say a few brief words. My fellow citizens of National City, the Girl of Steel."
The curtains were pulled to display a silver statue of Supergirl in her famous superhero pose, as everyone cheered and clapped even harder.
"Well, there you are." J'onn stated as he was happy to see Kara smile.
Lena then gave her small speech. "I am so honored to be presenting this statue of our very own hometown hero. I know what you all must be thinking. It must be a cold day in hell if a Luthor is praising a Kryptonian. Yet, ever since I came to this city, Supergirl has been an inspiration to me. She has been a mentor, but mostly, she has become such a dear friend; a friend that you can count on in your best and worst days."
J'onn smiled. "You know Kara, now would be a good time to go down there."
As Kara was about to do that, she felt her heart and breath stop for a moment as she was once again stilled into shock. It was Uzumaki Naruto and he was standing among the crowd laughing and cheering without a care in the world.
Time had seem to stop for her, she was not the only one who was in shock. Samantha Arias had turned around and her heart stilled as well when she saw the man she loved. He was still as handsome as the day she met him and she admired his shaggy hair from afar. She was suddenly worried as Ruby was with her. Would he notice them? What was he doing in National City? Did he discover the truth that she was pregnant? She stood in front of Ruby, hoping he could never see her.
Lena was thrilled to see that he indeed came to the unveiling. She had so wanted to talk him as he blew her a mock kiss and placed his hand on his heart and nodded at her gently, as she smiled at him.
This action did not go unnoticed by either Kara or Sam. The two of them had jealousy in their eyes seeing this tender moment unfold between them. Sam's insides were on fire. What was Lena keeping from her when she was asked to come back to the city and work at L-CORP?
Kara too had similar questions. She hated the fact that she was feeling jealous, but right now she was mad, as the concrete started to crack under her aura. What was Lena Keeping from her? Was Naruto the doctor she had been receiving therapy from? Were the two of them already in a relationship with one another? What else was Lena hiding?"
However, the three of them felt insanely jealous when a beautiful raven-haired woman approached Naruto and put an arm around his shoulder, as he did the same. The three of them were incensed and wanted to tear this woman to fucking pieces.
Naruto looked up to see Kara staring at him as he gave her a cheeky smile which made her even madder. However, she was shocked when his eyes went up in surprise and narrowed as he looked around and was staring at the woman who was speaking to Alex before. She could see the momentary flash of anger and wrath in his eyes as he was starting to approach the brown-haired woman in shock and anger as she was shocked looking at him.
"Well, he does look exactly like him."
She had no time to respond to Jon as at this very moment, all hell broke loose.

The ground cracked as an explosion had rocked the waterfront. The people had fallen into a panic as they started running for their safety. Supergirl and J'onn had made it to the ground as they surveyed the chaos calmly. She looked around for Naruto and that mysterious woman he was with, but she could not see them.
"You can look for him later. Right now, we have bigger fish to fry."
"J'onn, now I know why he stole the pressure regulator. He was never planning an aerial attack. The pressure regulator was meant for low altitude, not high; Bloodsport is underwater."
Bloodsport's submarine was indeed water as he nodded to his fellow soldier to fire another torpedo. The force of the torpedo has created another quake as people were running even harder and trying to escape the chaos.
Kara had soared into the air as she had taken point in the sky.
"I will clear the buildings in the vicinity. Alex, stay at the waterfront. Supergirl, find that submarine."

In the midst of all the chaos, Naruto had pulled Lena to safety.
Lena gave him a hug. "You came."
"Of course I did. You did ask me to come. Stay here and stay out of sight. I promise, you will be okay."
As he meant to leave, she pulled on his hand and noticed the look in her eyes. He sighed. His life was unraveling in front of him.
"I know you have questions, Lena. I know you do. You might be wondering what I am doing with Donna Troy of all people? Its complicated, and that's all I am going to say right now. I promise you, we will talk later."
Lena could say no more as he moved at inhuman speeds away from her, along with Donna Troy. Lena narrowed her eyes at this. She knew Donna from her college days, but she had no idea that Donna knew Naruto. This was truly pissing her off, but she had no time to ponder this. She hated being powerless. She wished she could help them.

Kara closed her eyes as she focused and listened for Bloodsport's heartbeat. She filtered out the sounds of screams, of cars blaring, the chaos and found what she was looking for. She blasted through the air and found his location underwater, as she hit his sub knocking the people in it to the ground.
Alex had rushed to a bridge as she looked on in alarm. "J'onn, she cannot fight well underwater."
Bloodsport had regained his bearings as he ordered his men to fire the torpedo given them to by Slade Wilson. Once detonated, the explosion would be powerful and would unleash a burst of kryptonite gas which would be enough to put Supergirl down.
"Fire the weapon."
"We are not locked on…"
"DO IT!"
Bloodsport's fellow soldier nodded as the torpedo was released.
Meanwhile on the surface, things were not improving at all. Sam was separated from her daughter as she was screaming for her daughter, while Ruby was scared looking for her mother.
"Ruby! Ruby, where are you?"
"Mom…, mom."

In the sea, Kara was close to reaching the torpedo, as Bloodsport gave the order for the torpedo to be detonated. The explosion was much more bigger than the last one, as it released a cloud of kryptonite gas, knocking Kara backward as she sank downward as she fell into unconsciousness.
Another Quake had ripped through the waterfront as everyone fell to the ground. Sam fell hard as she lost track of Ruby as if all sound was removed from the area. She regained her bearings and to her horror, she found her daughter pinned under a large metal object.
"RUBY!"
Sam had run near her daughter as her daughter screamed out for her mother's help. Sam sis her best to remove the metal over her daughter but she could not. She had never felt so powerless before in her life. Seeing her daughter's tears and her pain made Sam snap. Whether it was adrenaline, or seeing her baby in danger she gathered her strength and roared like a lioness as the metal in her hands began to creak and groan, as Ruby looked in on in awe. The metal bent in Sam's hands, as she gave a final lift, and tossed it away as she took her daughter into her arms.
Sam looked at the bent metal on the floor and wondered what this day meant for her. Could she always do something like that?"

"Supergirl…, Supergirl, can you hear me?" Alex was trying to reach out to her sister, but she was not responding at all.
"Kara…, please…"
"Kara, get up." Winn was also trying to call out to her.
Kara lay unconscious in the water, the Kryptonite gas working its way into body, leaving her weakened and exhausted. Her loved ones were concerned for her as they wondered why she was not getting up. And before she could sink to the ocean floor, a familiar voice called out to her.
"Wake up!"
Kara's eyes opened as she dug deep into her solar reserves to counteract the kryptonite in her body. Before another missile could be fired, she pushed it back into the ship, and grabbed the ship as she pushed it upward to the sky.
As soon as she emerged from the sea, carrying the sub with both her hands powerfully, the people at the Waterfront, as well as Alex, J'onn, Ruby and Sam smiled and felt relieved as they took in Kara's appearance as the Paragon of Hope and the secret Goddess of Rage.

Another explosion had rocked the waterfront before Kara could put the sub down on the ground. The statue made for her had exploded, resulting in a shower of stone and metal. And before she could find out why, she was hit by a powerful blast of Green Kryptonite energy.
Before she could fall to the ground, a blur had grabbed her and set her on to the ground, while another one had grabbed the sub mid-air and held it upward with his fist alone. It was Uzumaki Naruto himself who had helped Supergirl to safety and made sure she was okay. Kara had looked up to see Naruto and was surprised by what she saw.
In that very moment, she saw Naruto as someone different from Nar-El. Uzumaki Naruto's appearance and aura was intimidating, scary, and intoxicating. He looked like a warrior, a soldier, a fire hidden within his eyes; a power that was ancient, malevolent and mighty.
And yet, in that moment, Naruto gave her such a megawatt smile filled with such warmth that even she was taken a loop. It was so warm and inviting. It was a smile meant to ensure that everything was going to be okay. He held out his hand and gently lifted her to her feet.
"You okay?" Naruto asked her gently.
Kara gulped as she did not what to say so she simply muttered an okay.
Naruto smiled. "You know, it's such a great honor to meet the Protector of National City. Has anyone told you how strong and powerful you are?"
Kara could not believe that she was having a conversation with him. "Umm, I guess. You aren't that bad either."
Naruto chuckled. "I am not that special. I work out a lot and eat lots of fruit and vegetables."
"And lifting the submarine with one hand?"
"Oh, that's adrenaline. You know, like moms lifting cars off their babies."
This small banter was going unnoticed by nobody. The people at the Waterfront were in shock and awe that their resident therapist had abilities. J'onn and Alex were in wonder as to how this man avoided the DEO's radar for so long. There must have been an important reason as to why the President would choose to go such lengths to protect this man.
Meanwhile, Sam and Lena were smoldering right now, and people were avoiding them in horror. Even Ruby was wondering why her mom was so angry.
Both women were jealous seeing Naruto speaking to Kara like that and with such warmth and kindness. The auras that the two women were generating were causing the people around them to freak out.
Donna meanwhile was smirking seeing their jealousy. Unlike Sam and Lena, she was confident about her place in Naruto's life and knew how much he cared for her, despite past troubles and difficulties.
Before Kara could ask any more things, J'onn was on the ground clutching his head in pain. There was another Martian hovering in the air, much to his chock, one he could not recognize. He was lifted into the air before any of them could react and punched with brutality as he was blasted into a nearby building.
Before any of them could react, Naruto sensed danger as he moved Kara out of the way as another being had emerged and created a small quake with his punch. Kara was still tired from the Kryptonite as Naruto helped her to her feet.
Naruto narrowed his eyes at the cloaked being in front of him. Naruto could not see his face, but Naruto could tell he was holding some sort of ancient, powerful blade, and wearing a technologically advanced armor. Whoever this man was, he came prepared for a fight.
"It seems I finally got your attention and lured you out of hiding."
Naruto could not make out who's voice this was. "Supergirl, please evacuate the civilians out of here. I will fight this person."
Kara looked at him incredulously. "Are you kidding? I can fight him."
"Yes, you can. You are the most powerful being in this city. Your priority is to its people, not me. I will fight this motherfucker. Please, get them to safety. You need time to recover and work the Kryptonite out of your system."
Their conversation was interrupted by the masked individual in front of them.
"Aww, its always like you to protect the innocent. Have you told her about the lives you have taken?"
Naruto smiled. He was going to enjoy kicking this guy's ass. Kara was confused by that staement
"Naruto, be careful. We have no idea what he's capable of."
"I got you, Kurama. Yet, he has no idea what we are capable of."
The Masked Stranger suddenly had bolts of electricity surrounding him, as the ground cracked and little pieces of stone were floating around him. Naruto meanwhile smiled and cracked his knuckles.
"I think I can go for a workout."
The Masked Stranger then roared at him. "YOU WILL PAY FOR WHAT YOU TOOK FROM ME! ITS JUST YOU AND ME! COME ON!"

Meanwhile, J'onn was inside the building recovering as his opponent stood in front of him, as he kicked him into a wall.
"Pathetic. This is the great J'onn J'onzz? So worthless you are. You have wasted your existence living with humans, brother. You will not interfere in their fight. We have unfinished business."
J'onn looked at him in anger. "Brother? You are no brother of mine."
"Oh, how little you know."
The Martian roared as he attacked him again with a brutal array of punches and kicks. J'onn had enough as he caught his attacker's hands much to their shock. He brought both his hands down on his head and kicked him in the face, sending him crashing into another building.
Before his attacker recover, J'onn unleashed a nasty burst of heat vision, searing his skin as he screamed in pain. J'onn unleashed his anger as a multitude of broken, metal objects and stones were hovering in front of him.
"You say you are my brother? PROVE IT!"
J'onn launched the objects at his attacker as he blasted them away with his heat vision. The two of them once again traded blows as the fight was on now.

The Masked Stranger, known as Slade Wilson, otherwise known as Deathstroke the Terminator, sprang into action. He unsheathed the Godkiller and used his new found speed and plunged his sword into Naruto's heart and pushed him to the ground. Naruto smirked as his body exploded violently and Slade was pushed back hard.
Naruto used his speed to launch a brutal kick sending Slade flying as Naruto readied a shuriken. He launched it and formed hand seals multiplying the shuriken into a thousand. Slade moved out of harm's way using his new speed, but he was unprepared for the multitude of Naruto Clones that were underground as they exploded violently, knocking him backward into the remnants of the broken Supergirl statue.
Slade coughed up blood inside his suit as Naruto stared at him and gave him a cold smile as he launched a brutal Boil Release Enhanced Elbow Strike into his ribs sending, Slade crashing further into the dirt.
Kara, Sam, and Lena were in awe. Sam and Lena had no idea that Naruto could fight like that and had special powers of his own. In Kara's mind, it was proof that Naruto fought and was different compared to Nar-El. Kara then sprang into action and started moving everyone to a safer location. She was confident that Naruto had this in the bag.
Naruto decided to mock his attacker. "My, oh my, look what we have here everyone. The Ultimate example of what trash and pathetic looks like. You should never start something you cannot finish."
"I AM NOT DONE YET! EN GARDE!"
Slade's body was covered in a unique form of electricity as he brandished the Godkiller and rushed towards Naruto. Slade was pushed back as Naruto roared like a lion. A golden aura formed around him as the collective jaws of Kara, Sam, Lena, and everyone at the waterfront dropped. Naruto's body was covered in golden flames and special black markings. Bolts of electricity were surrounding his body as a pillar of light shot up in the sky, parting the clouds and creating a quake of power and energy. The aura he generated was intimidating and intoxicating.
Naruto had combined the Six Paths Sage Mode with the Lightning Release Chakra Mode Level 2. Now, the fight truly began.
The both of them disappeared in a burst of lightning as the two of them clashed, Slade's Godkiller clashing against Naruto's Black Rods. Slade was shocked and angered that his Godkiller could not disintegrate Naruto's black rods. Naruto was equally surprised as well as the Gudodama was not disintegrating his fancy blade. He smirked at that.
Shockwaves and bolts of electricity had filled the area as the two of them were clashing in the sky and in the air. Slade was doing his best to chase Naruto as explosions and broken stones and rubble quickly filled the area. Naruto then pushed Slade into a secluded open area as the two of them violently clashed again.
Naruto kicked the Godkiller out of his hands and moved backward as he launched it at him at high speeds. Slade caught it and hit him with a vicious punch making Naruto crash into a wall. Naruto was unfazed and not hurt by the blow as he smiled in happiness.
Slade rushed in with another punch, but multiple Naruto clones rushed out of the ground and exploded. He was pushed backward and kicked violently across the face, as he was launched backward again. Before he could recover, another Boil Release Enhanced strike was launched into his ribs, this one mightier and powerful as it was powered by the Six Paths Sage Mode. Slade screamed and cried out in pain, as he coughed up more blood and Naruto was unfazed.
Slade and Naruto clashed once more, as Slade pulled out his energy lance and fired bolts of energy which he easily deflected and then fired his two rods at Slade which he barely deflected with the Godkiller. Slade then rushed forward and tried to pin Naruto's hands down and received a nasty head butt in return.
Naruto mocked him. "Where's your anger, your rage?"
Slade roared in frustration as he brought his arms down on his head. Naruto casually slammed him into the dirt and kicked him away. Before Slade could react, he was hit with a mighty punch generating an enormous, mammoth-like shockwave that destroyed quite a bit of the surrounding area, sending Slade crashing into the dirt. Slade's entire body was ringing in pain and he knew his body was broken and devastated as he held his ribs and was coughinh up more blood.
Naruto approached Slade, a Rasengan forming in his mind, the size of a basketball, intent on finishing off the Masked Stranger.
"You are pathetic, but you were a good source of entertainment. Now, die."
Slade would not die, not this day. He fired a bullet at Lena Luthor which Naruto intercepted. Naruto roared in anger, but the Masked Stranger had escaped his grasp.
"You okay, Lena?"
Lena was in shock to say anything.

Meanwhile, the two Martians who were fighting in the evacuated building were bloody and bruised and exhausted as they threw everything they had at each other. The two once again charged as they fired bursts of heat vision as they were locked in a beam struggle.
J'onn and his enemy roared as the resulting explosion turned the building into ash, as people screamed again and ran for their lives. From the ashes, J'onn and his enemy emerged as they launched their final attack; a telekinetic assault.
This was a mistake as the resulting burst of pain from both clashes had resulted in J'onn falling into unconsciousness, and his enemy retreating to fight another day. Before J'onn fell into unconsciousness, J'onn realized the truth- that his attacker was indeed his long lost brother.

The chaos had ended as Naruto lamented what had happened today. His entire identity was now in the open, and his promising career as a therapist was at an end. Worse, Slade Wilson was alive and thriving, with new toys and tricks. This had to be investigated.
Naruto formed hand seals and disappeared in a cloud of smoke as Kara, Lena, Sam, Alex and the people of National City were left with new questions, as to who Uzumaki Naruto truly was.

Slade found his way back to his home, as he shed his suit and waited for his wounds to heal. If not for the suit's technological prowess, durability and defensive ability, he would have turned to paste. He was out of his league when it came to Naruto. He had no idea he could do the things that he just did.
Still, he would not be deterred.
"THIS IS NOT OVER! YOU ARE DEAD, UZUMAKI. YOU HEAR ME? DEAD!"

I hope I did well with this fight scene. Slade has temporary access to the Speed Force, although his usage of it is flawed and weak. He also has the Godkiller, and a suit that can take quite the beating. However, he was no match for Naruto as Naruto simply toyed with his food and shrugged of his blows. Naruto's god mode combined with the Lightning Release Chakra Mode gives him tremendous speed. With Earth Release lightening his body, he can fly even faster. Uzumaki Naruto is superior to Slade in every way and Slade has no chance to beat him.
Also, I hope you enjoyed the battle with J'onn J'onzz and his brother. J'onn is one of the few people who can match Kryptonians. It's a shame how he was written in Supergirl. In this story, he will be written to be more than a match for Superman and Supergirl and will hold his own against Worldkillers.
Slade recruited the services of Malefic, so we will see him again in this story.
Now, Slade is going to go after the people that Naruto cares for. If Slade cannot hurt Naruto, he will hurt his loved ones. You can bet that Slade's services will be asked for by someone with an axe to grind against Supergirl. There is exciting stuff coming up.
