Yan doesn't even know why these three people are trying.

Akane didn't even look at him as her mind is gearing up and constructing and reconstructing the array in mind, this world's rune and array formation is completely different from the Uzumaki ones she is used to, or the bastardized versions in Anime and Manga.

However, Akane find it in herself to reply, "Because as much as it would not change much if you're still stuck inside out Soul Space, at this point we can only make do, at least we should adjust so we can cultivate. Chakra can only get us so far in this world where Qi dominates, there will come a situation that Chakra alone cannot save us and like wise, qi alone cannot get us out of sticky situation."

Akane didn't need to hurry up in dismantling this seal, the possibility of it crashing down around them and killing them is high, it's a delicate work, don't know how high their cheap father is when he made this but while it's a genius work, it's frustrating as hell. As if her life depends on it.

Ironically, it truly does but that no matter how that sentence should be a perfect fit, the feeling that it's not the real reason why the other is fired up made Yan hesitate to label it.

In which, he settled with, 'Humans are weird,' Yan decided, 'I can never understand them.'

However, Yan is willing to give credit when it's due. Tomato head has no foundation of the Sealing and Array of this world her knowledge is also otherworldly, she has to learn from scratch d build up, however, the fact that she's progressing this fast even though she's studying the subject for only mere months is already astonishing.

In retrospect, Xuanyuan Wentian has the Black Jade at his disposal and could access the knowledge and secrets within to help him with this damn prison seal. Reverse engineering it without any clue but to use stock knowledge and new knowledge yet progressed so fast, now that's another thing altogether.

They are at the disadvantage given that none of the three could really unlock the Beast Jade as of now, maybe access that power, tap on it for aid on battle or subdue Spirit Beasts but that's not their style at all. With that, Yan can respect.

On a leisure note, he is quite surprised and welcomes the fact that there are no accusations, tear jerking back story monologue and spiraling down to madness happened, and that they couldn't cultivate because he's inside them and that 'This is all your fault!' kind of thing. It's a good thing he was spared from that drama ni matter how amusing it was.

Yan had a hunch that it's a bribe given the kid began to ask question only those he is willing to answer.

It's a good bribe too, damn it.

Ironically, the movie introduced to him is Naruto. The irony isn't lost to Yan given there is also a Demon inside the Protagonist, that is, Kyuubi no Kitsune, a Huli Jing as if that's not something fascinating. Huli Jing are incredibly difficult to even find, they are even more rare than Flood Dragons, given how the history of them being hunted more for their furs than being contracted.

Yan decided to settled down on a comfortable position and watched.

Meanwhile, Ye Lian watched as Huang Beiyue trained along side Dongling and Zhonglei. She can faintly hear the anime Yan is watching, though it's only a negligible faint whisper.

Huang Beiyue sent a palm strike on the opening Zhonglei gave her, causing said youth to skid back, grunted from that hit, "Technically, Yan is already heading to the path of no return, don't they all? Being a Demonic Beast while being an Otaku Shut In isn't seemed to be a bad side job"

"Whatever, as long as our Portable Grandfather is still functioning, it's good." Ye Lian sighed, in the better note, while her investigation is progressing, so is the itch in reforming the two Fiefs. Ye Lian is more business oriented between the three.

Which is how Ye Lian is in the market looking at the alchemy ingredients, her lips twitched. They are species and vegetable, they can even be used to make condiments.

The alchemy here is really thriving, there are so many pills that they had forgotten to use said ingredients for cooking. It's a waste of profit, though Ye Lian can understand because even her own calculation is leaning on selling them to alchemist or pharmacist for higher profits, but the culinary and gourmet department suffered a huge hit as a result.

There are also food pills for going on trips where they can't make food during camping. It's distasteful, it's bitter too.

Ye Lian is Filthy Rich but she knows agriculture, there was one time when she was young that her grandparents on her mother side, who owned a large scale vegetable import and export industry, she had learned from them, her Maternal Grandmother specially given the old woman's love for garden doesn't stop on just flowers.

There are lots of space in Princess Royal Mansion, demolition team (read: Beiyue, Dongling, and Zhonglei) is ready and on stand by, they just have to decide which to demolish and turn into garden first.

With that in mind, Ye Lian pays for her purchase and swept said purchase on her Space Ring, walking to the next store with an intent to buy more. There are a lot of big eaters at home (that's right Akane, I'm looking at you!), vegetables and spices take time to grow. It would be embarrassing if they ran out of ingredients in the middle of the night because someone wants to always have midnight snacks.
