4. chapter 4

Salvatore Boarding School :

On the FOOTBALL FIELD :

a man is putting down painted lines in anticipation of the upcoming flag football game between the Salvatore School Stallions and the Mystic Falls High School Timberwolves .

Meanwhile , in Henry's BEDROOM :

Henry was standing in front of his window in checkered navy trousers and a black long sleeve shirt and black shinny shoe's , with his hair combed back to perfection . he stood with his hands locked behind his back elegantly , watching silently as the jocks from Mystic Falls High School vandalized the Salvatore School's vans with spray paint . They laughed hysterically and painted white X's over the school's logo as Henry's watched , narrating in voiceover . " No legacy is so rich as honesty ." When Shakespeare wrote that , he obviously didn't know what I know about teenage boys . I mean , I know there are guys with integrity , who lead with truth ... I've just never met any of them , I myself am not one " .

" Stallions suck ! " . a jock shouted with snicker .

The jocks runned away , before a staff come to discipline them .

" Gospel truth " . Rebekah sighed in complete agreement , as all the females voiced their own approval making the men fidget in their place uncomfortably .

" seriously you guys can be so immature " . Elena huffed as she sent the smiling Tyler and Matt glares .

" we did nothing wrong Elena " . Tyler preached back innocently .

Caroline scoffed at them and reminded them , " who trashed their opponents field the night before the game ? " .

The two looked away with sheepish smiles

, Liz , carol and Alaric shoke their heads at them in disapproval but returned to watching Henry .

" I love his sense of style " . Hayley complemented him with a grin and a nod .

" why did he have to inherit Nik flare for the dramatic , could he have taken after him in anything else ? " . Kol complained with a pout .

His siblings ignored him as Finn turned to Elijah and addressed him , " I don't agree with Henry's thought , so far all I saw from him is him treating others with kindness and honesty " .

" I think he is just being hard on himself , mistrusting his judgment a little after his lapse with Mr Kirby " . Elijah answered him with a hum .

The GUIDANCE OFFICE :

where guidance counselor Emma Tig , was seated in an armchair , looking at Henry who is sitting across from her with his legs crossed elegantly , with a mixture of amusement and exasperation .

" Good job Ric , the kid is obviously in need of counseling sessions " . Caroline complemented Ric who smiled at her .

The Mikaelsons didn't look pleased but they didn't protest either .

" I see you've decided to double down on your nihilism this morning " . Emma stated calmly .

Henry reply was to gave her sarcastic look before replying in a similar tone ," I'm trying to be rich with honesty here miss Tig " .

Emma gave him another exasperated look before trying to redirect him back to their session . " Start from the beginning " .

Henry smiled charmingly at her and deflected , deliberately misunderstanding what Emma is referring to , plays dumb to try to get out of talking about Landon , " Of my short lived horrific encounters with liars ? " .

" smart mouth " . Kol sighed with a tone filled with both pride and concern .

" blessed with Nik twisted sense of humor " . Rebekah raised a finger as she pointed at her frowning brother .

Emma gave him a knowing look and refused to be played , " About your decision to perform black magic on school grounds last night " .

" how did they find out , I thought they were careful " . Jeremy asked curiously .

Henry sighed as he answers her trying to reason with her , " Maybe we could table this until I catch the guy I was trying to find by using black magic ? Because the longer that Landon Kirby is out there , the greater the chance he tells people about this school and the kind of people we have hidden behind it's gates " .

" You know there's a beacon that alerts me when someone's using magic . You knew you would be caught " . she accused him strongly .

" he planned this all along , the cheeky brat " . Klaus looked at His son with fascination and a hint of admiration .

" what !? Then Why did he go to all that trouble to conceal this from us ? " . Caroline asked him curiously .

" I still can't figure out why myself " . Klaus replied absentmindedly .

Henry smiled at her his eyes light with challenge , " After I found Landon ! But I lost the trail , and now I'm being interrogated " . he continued like he didn't hear her His tone getting heavier with criticism and sarcastic . " But go ahead . Take your time . Nothing at stake here " .

Emma who noticed that he is hiding something tried to get to the bottom of it , " Did anyone help you with the spell ? " .

Henry remained silent for a long moment watching her with cool eyes before answering her indifferently , " No . Can I go now ? " .

Emma is clearly frustrated but tried her best to remain patient with him , " henry ... You're a student . This isn't your fight " . she warned him sternly .

" you would have had better luck convincing a stone of that than Mikaelson " . Elijah sighed .

Henry chuckled amusedly and rolled his eyes before uncrossing his legs and leaning toward his counselor , " It's absolutely my fight , Emma ! Landon was inside the walls of this school because of me . He had access to the knife he stole because of me . We're at risk of exposure because of me ! And you can tell me that I'm sublimating a lifetime of survivor's remorse, or whatever it says in my file here ... " . he picked up a file folder laying on the coffee table between them before dropping it again to emphasize his point ." I'm making this my fight and once we find him , and you know that you can't stop me " . he stated confidently .

" actually none of that is his fault , its more of Ric and Josie's " . Liz Forbes stated with an apologetic smile to Alaric .

With those words , He stood up on his feet and headed toward the door without another word . Emma sighed and watched him , calling out to him one last time before he leave , " And what happens when you do ?, what will you do to Landon ? " .

Henry stopped walking , a small , frustrated smirk forming on his lips before he walked out the door , Emma watched him go with a concerned expression .

" may his soul rest in peace " . Rebekah and Kol sighed knowingly .

" what !? ... What is that supposed to mean ? " . Bonnie , Elena , Stefan , Damon and Caroline demanded warily .

" it means that Henry does not intend for Landon to return to the school alive " . Klaus explained with a frown not liking his son to get himself entangled with that boy again and at the same time understanding where he is coming from .

Salvatore Boarding School ' Ground Floor / Henry's Room ' :

Henry continued his thought in voiceover , as he walked down the hallway , where students are milling around and staring at him as he goes out of his way not to interact with anyone treating them like they are invisible , " It should be said that Shakespeare wasn't completely clueless ... " .

The scene changed to Henry's bedroom , where he quietly shut the door and kneeled down on the floor so he can pull a large book out from under his bed . The book is old looking , with a red leather binding and gold embossing that reads "SHAKESPEARE'S GREAT WORKS ,

revealing that it is one of the books his uncle Kol and aunt Davina got him for his ninth birthday , " on my ninth birthday my uncle Kol and his wife sent me a how to survive sheakspearian Manuel , both had plenty of advice about how to handle betrayal . My personal favorite ? " Think therefore on revenge and cease to weep " .

" Kol " . Finn , Klaus and Elijah cried out warningly , completely missing the part about his wife .

Henry opened the book to reveal that it wasn't Shakespeare's works at all , but is instead a Grimoire full of spells , hiding in plain sight . he flipped through the pages until he finds the spell that he's looking for and ripped the page out of the book . The page is titled MORTEM and has a sketch of a skull on it along with the incantation .

The three Mikaelson's brothers Glowered at their youngest brother balefully , he on the other hand was too busy cackling to himself to even care . " a death spell Kol !? , one of mother's as that " . Finn shouted angrily .

" it require too much power you imbecile , why even give him one ? " . Klaus Demanded from his brother roughly .

" please Nik , every witch should know one or two death spells . Henry is a Mikaelson , your son he will have a need of it someday " . Kol replied confidently , taking the wind out of his siblings .

" he really is planning to kill him " . Carol choked out breathlessly .

" let's hope that Ric can stop him before he does " . Liz prayed nervously .

Salvatore Boarding School ' Ground Floor ' :

Lizzie who dressed in a Salvatore Stallions jersey that is cinched at the waist , was walking down the stairs toward the first floor with her sister Josie , who is wearing her school uniform and looks uneasy . It is obvious by the expression on Lizzie's face that she is serious about the upcoming game .

" Let's hit the dining hall and carb-load . It's game day " . Lizzie orders her sister .

" they play sport " . Jo observed curiously , " what kind of sport do they like ? " . she asked Ayana .

Ayana smiled and answered the two curious parent's , " the girls love swimming , flag football they tried their hand on dancing , and had an extensive hand to hand combat training under Alaric tutelage , but they prefer using magic in fights " .

The mystic falls residence's smiled as they watched the twins talk .

Josie who feeling guilty about keeping her dark magic with Henry a secret and still exhausted by the previous few days' events , looked away from her sister evasively , " I'm not hungry " . she replied softly .

Lizzie stopped walking immediately and stared at Josie with a knowing and scolding expression . Josie tried to play dumb about it] but failed , " What ? " . she asked Lizzie nervously .

" oh Lizzie is into her ? " . Luke announced confidently .

The two began to walk again , but it's clear from the expression on Lizzie's face that she's not about to let this go without complaint , " Well , uh , funny thing , actually , Josette . This morning , as I was desperately trying to make this trash bag of a jersey look cute , I suddenly had the urge to purge . So , I fled to the bowl , and lo and behold , I heaved up a gallon of black goo " . Lizzie relaid with accusation in every word .

" I had episodes like that before ? " . Bonnie confessed much to her friends worry and dismay as they looked at her with horrified expressions .

" that because you pushed yourself to learn magic that you are not ready for , and you didn't have the basic understanding of how it works , and choosing to delve into black magic before anything else " . Ayana reprimanded her with a glare that made her quill .

Liv , Jo and Luke gave her disbelieving looks even Finn and Kol were shaking their head at her foolishness making her look away in shame .

" Bonnie you could have hurt yourself , why didn't you tell us ? " . Elena asked her worriedly .

" we were all busy trying to find away to take Klaus down , you have enough in your plate as it's ' . Bonnie explained sheepishly .

" I will never be too busy for you , you are my best friend . you could have told care then ... You know what we will talk about this later " . Elena decided before Returning to watch the twins .

Josie's eyes widen when she realized what this means , and Lizzie stared at her accusingly , " So , seeing as I haven't been dabbling in any illicit black magic recently , I can only imagine it was a twin sympathy hurl " . she concluded with knowing glare .

" ugh " . the three parker siblings Groaned in dismay . " hate those " .

Josie looked away with a guilty expression , confirming Lizzie's suspicions, " And here you are , denying the day's most important meal . So , fess up ...what did you do ? " . she demanded sternly .

As the twins turned the corner , they passed Penelope , who is lurking in the corner and who , based on the smirk on her face , obviously has been listening to their conversation . " Maybe you're pregnant , Lizzie ? " . she mocked the other witch with a smirk .

When Lizzie shoot Penelope a glare , she continued to mock her , " Oh , or maybe it's just how that jersey fits " .

" that's mean " . Elena and Caroline Growled angrily .

" its funny actually , you call that mean !? " . Hayley giggled at their indignant expressions .

Penelope's expression is that of feigned concern , and Josie tried her best to look unaffected by her , " Go away , evil one " . she returned with a glare .

Penelope smiled with fake sweetness at her as she answered , " Already gone " .

Before she walked away , she made eye contact with Josie , who is using all of her energy to maintain her cool , " Hot tip? Next time you burn your ex's hair off , make sure she can't rock a lob " .

" to be fair she does rock a lob " . Matt said with a sheepish shrug before turning away fearfully at his three childhood friends glares .

Jeremy , Damon , Luke and Tyler were in agreement but were to cowardly to voice it out , especially Luke who was between his two murderous looking sisters .

With that she flipped her now shorter hair over her shoulder before strutting away , much to Josie and Lizzie's displeasure . Just then , MG , who is also ready for the game , approaches the twins . " Morning ! Big game today ! " . he greeted the two cheerfully .

Lizzie immediately scowled at the sight of him as a result of his hookup with Penelope several nights ago , " Bounce , MG . If you hurry , you can catch up with the Blair Bitch and tongue chum her again " . Lizzie returned brutally .

Everyone Brusted out laughing especially ,

Damon who was snickering , " I love this girl " .

" tongue chum ? , seriously ! " . Caroline asked with a laugh .

MG , knowing that he's in the wrong here , reluctantly walked away . In a delayed reaction to Penelope's comment , Lizzie looked at Josie with an offended expression , " Did she who shall not be named just fat shamed me ? " .

" I hate those comments the most " . Liv Groaned .

" it's awful , but they actually make that ugly Jersey look cute " . Caroline cooed to the two .

Before they can discuss things further , Alaric saw them from down the hall and walked toward them with a grim expression , " Hey girls , listen ... " . he started .

Before Alaric can speak further , Josie cut him off , " Don't do it . Don't say whatever it is you're about to say , because you have " Dad face " and wherever " Dad face " goes , " daughter disappointment " always follows " . she warned him .

" that's true " . Bonnie and Caroline sighed in sympathy .

" your girls are so Witty Ric " . Jeremy complimented them with a smile .

Alaric frowned , looking even more guilty , before he cane out with it and continued , " I'm sorry . I can't make the game today " .

As predicted , both girls look crestfallen by this news and reply in quiet , sad voices , " But you're the coach ... " . Josie protested .

" And I'm QB this year " . Lizzie followed .

" I feel awful " . Ric moaned guiltily .

" well , you better have a good reason for missing our daughter's Game , or I will make you feel pain too " . Jo whispered warningly making Alaric back away warily .

Alaric sighed before explaining , " I hate it as much as you do , but I have to find Landon Kirby " .

Alaric turned to Jo who nodded in agreement and gave him a smile , " that's a good excuse " .

Josie's expression lift when she gets an idea , " Okay , so let's cancel! I mean , it's a joke anyways .. we can't use our powers , so we suck " . she suggested excitedly .

" Exactly . Which is a normal school for troubled rich kids thing to do . This annual event lets the locals see you for what they think you are . And that keeps them from asking too many questions " . Alaric reminded them calmly .

" I hate to say it but it's actually reasonable " . Caroline agreed with a pout .

" even if it's humiliating " . Klaus hummed with detest .

Lizzie still looked upset by the news that her father won't be at the game , " But they mock us " . she complained .

Alaric scoffed impatiently as he answered her , " Because they're insecure small town kids with small minds . So , just let it be ".

The mystic falls kids turned as one and gave Alaric their most venomous glares , " come on , you know that it's true " . Ric protested adamantly .

" we hate you " . was their unanimous replay .

Alaric can see that the twins are still not happy about this and tried to get them to see his point of view , " Look , girl .. with Landon running around , knowing all our secrets , we have to protect our profile now more than ever . Can I count on you guys to do to that ? " . he asked the two seriously .

The girls hesitated for a moment before nodding in agreement , and Alaric looked relieved by their promise , " All right . I love you both . We'll be back as soon as we can " .

" wait , who is we ? " . Jo asked him curiously .

" you are not taking him with you ? , please be more intelligent than that ? " . Hayley hissed .

The five Mikaelsons turned to him with warning looks making Alaric sweat .

Alaric walked away to finish getting ready to leave , and after a moment , Lizzie frowns she stopped him and asked him curiously , " Wait.. who's " we ? " .

" like mother like daughter " . Liv joked to soften the tense atmosphere .

Salvatore Boarding School ' Entrance ' :

Henry dressed in combat boots dark jeans and black long sleeved hoodie , headed toward Alaric's SUV to get ready to hit the road with a backpack , when he saw a pair of legs under the car and frowned in confusion . " Hello ... ? " . he called out calmly .

" its so unfair how good he look in casual Clothes " . liv said with a pout .

Hayley laughed and nodded in agreement , " actually what intrigue me is how familiar he look , the shape of his eyes and his cheekbones i saw those somewhere but I can't remember where " . she bit her lower lips thoughtfully trying to remember .

Klaus looked at her with a raised brow and a curious look in his eyes , Ayana gave her an enigmatic look . " he inherited all of this features from his mother , as well as the shape of his lips and hair color " . she gave her clues .

Hayley frowned thoughtfully but missed the clues entirely only Klaus who was standing beside her who looked down to examine her noticed . he noted the graceful arch of her brows , the exquisite structure of her high cheekbones and the lushness to her petal coloured cupid shaped lips . features that his son shared with the beautiful brunette shewolf beside him .

His eyes darkened with realisation and he turned to gave a pointed look to Ayana who only smirked at him , and turned pointedly to watch Henry .

He took a deep breath and tried to hold in his curiosity and fear that was churning deep inside him . he was thankful when Elijah changed the topic by glaring murderously at Alaric . " if Henry got harmed in anyway I will kill you " . he stated coldly .

Alaric paled and cursed his future self for always taking Henry with him in missions .

The person slide out from under the SUV , revealing that it is Rafael , who is dressed in jeans and a tank top and appeared to be doing mechanic work on the vehicle .

" Hey " . Rafael replied back calmly as well .

He again slide back under the SUV and continues tinkering with the undercarriage , Henry's brows left up in dislike and confusion , " What are you doing ? " . he demanded coolly .

" Adjusting the sway bar " . was Rafael answer .

" more like breaking it " . Klaus corrected with a small smirk .

Henry continued to look confused , " Was it broken ? " . he asked curiously .

Rafael slide back out from under the SUV and held up the bar , which he has just wrenched off of the vehicle . " It is now " .

Henry sighed in derision and sent him a cool glare , realizing what Rafael is doing as the young werewolf made his argument , " You're going after Landon " .

" hopefully only to capture him " . Liz prayed softly .

Henry raised his eyebrow but otherwise remains silent as Rafael continued , " If you want this car to work , I'm going with you " .

Henry who only now let his frustration show responded in a condescending tone , " You should stay out of it . He's a liar and a thief " .

Rafael scoffed as though he thinks he's being dramatic , " He took a stupid knife " .

" that knife is a dark artifacts " . Kol corrected him .

" stealing is still stealing no matter the lot and the reason " . Liz stated warningly to the young teen's .

Henry smiled as he gave him a derisive look as though he's being ignorant and nuisance , " Nothing in this school is a stupid anything , that knife was a part of a group of artifacts that was recovered from an organization that hunted supernatural's for decade's , anything they collect is deadly " .

" Now I'm worried too , I need to return that knife back to the school " . Alaric said worriedly .

Rafael looked shocked and worried for a second before he shoke his head and recovered his determination , he took a deep breath before making his argument , " Look ... He's my best friend . And you ? You seem vengeful " .

" he seems like Younger more patient Klaus in murder bath trying to hold on his temper least Lijah lecture him on control " . Kol scoffed .

" precisely " . Finn nodded in agreement

Realizing that Rafael isn't going to be swayed so easily and losing patience with him , Henry tried another tactic , " Let me show you something " .

He took a step toward him and held out his hands . Rafael , not knowing what he's trying to do , grabbed him by the wrist to stop him and looked at him with unease . Henry stared him in the eyes and nodded calmly , leading Rafael to reluctantly allow him to place the palms of his hands on either side of his face , " Close your eyes " . he ordered the taller darker boy .

Rafael does as he's told , and Henry closed his eyes as well before muttering an incantation under his breath , " Enserdi " .

Henry using his powers to show Rafael what he and Josie saw the previous night when they casted the spell to track Landon down . Landon was dozing on the bus when the knife he stole began heating up in his jacket pocket . He pulled the blade out to find that it is glowing bright red , reaching a blinding intensity as he closed his eyes . The flashback cuts to the crime scene Henry and Alaric were brought to the remains of the bus ... the bus itself has been incinerated , and the bus' patrons , with the exception of Landon , were burned to death , leaving only charred corpses .

" should he really be showing Rafael that ? , he could traumatise the boy " . Jo wondered worriedly .

" I think he should know so that he can understand why Landon is in so much trouble " . Hayley argued with a frown .

The sight of the latter part of the flashback startled Rafael so much that he jerked away from Henry and looks at him as though he's not sure what he should believe , " What the hell was that ? " . he asked him breathlessly .

" Your best friend did that to a bus full of people on Route 29 last night , and I am the only one who knows how to find him " . Henry answered him with a small cold smile .

He held out his hand and looks at him expectantly , " you should give me that , whatever it's " . he demanded .

Despite what he's just seen , Rafael stood his ground , " No " . he refused stubbornly .

" chucks " . Rebekah hissed .

" he won't like that , I wouldn't have like that answer ". Klaus stated with a sigh . " what I hate most in the world is not getting my way " .

Henry glared at him in warning , " pardon but you may want to consider that answer , I have actual magic powers " .

" And I have a long history of anger issues " . Rafael replied back heatedly .

Henry's eyes turned Amber as he whispered back threateningly , " so do I , pass it or I will break you in two " . he warned him coldly .

Klaus face lit with pride as did Kol's and Rebekah's face , they felt relived that Henry is not above using his power if pushed too .

Rafael looked at his eyes with fascination , before he could replay they were interrupted by Alaric .

Alaric who was obviously in hurry , rushed past them to put his gear in the SUV . " He can come " .

Henry turned to glare at Alaric as though he's lost his mind , " pardon ? " .

Carol sighed wistfully as she shoot Klaus envious looks .

" He knows Landon . He'll be an asset. And we need all the help we can get ... " . Alaric reasoned with him before turning to look at Rafael and ordered him , " So , fix the car and hop in " .

Rafael looked smug as he get to work repairing the SUV , and Alaric made a face at his attire , " And put a shirt on " . he ordered him .

Alaric turned to the silently fuming Henry and soothed him , " look if he made any move you don't like , knock him out " . Henry glared at Rafael feet before moving to put his Backpack on the trunk of the car .

" you just gave him an excuse to hurt him Alaric " . Elena groaned .

" actually I gave him a condition , I think that I would know my student enough to know what he will do if provoked " . Alaric shrugged off her protest .

Salvatore Boarding School " Ground Floor " :

Lizzie and Josie were wandering around the ground floor of the school , where they continued their discussion . Lizzie was pouting at the thought of Henry going on a mission with their father .

" Dad loves Henry more than us " . she complained petulantly .

" what , no " . Alaric cried out in disbelieve . " why would she think that ? " . he asked his friends worriedly .

" maybe the fact that you spend more time with him than your kids , or that you trust him too much and take him anywhere with you , chose one of this reasons " . Damon answered him with a mocking glare .

Alaric looked at him with his mouth wide open , Jo scoffed at Damon giving him a withering glare before turning to Alaric with a kind smile as she soothed his worries , " don't mind him , Lizzie is just being dramatic it run in my family " .

Alaric sighed in relive and smiled at her in thanks .

Josie rolled her eyes and tried to be the voice of reason , " You're being melodramatic , okay ? He's missing one game " . she consoled her gently .

Lizzie seems to be getting more hysterical at this response , " First a game , and then our weddings ! " . she replied hysterically .

" see , she is just being a Drama Queen " . Jo said with a fond smile as Alaric shoke his head with clear exasperation .

Lizzie's jaw dropped when she's suddenly struck by an idea , " This game is an opportunity . We can show him how seriously we are taking this by making sure that our secret stays protected out there on the field " . Lizzie proposed excitedly .

Her expression turned to serious and determined one ," Today , we will lose even more epically than we normally do " . she stated firmly .

Surprisingly , Josie seemed pleased by this reaction as she encouraged her , " Win by losing . That's the spirit ! " .

" that sound like a horrible compromise for safety and ananimity , they don't get to be themselves or use their powers freely ". Luke sighed with clear conflict .

" you always have to make compromise , it's how live works . I say they give in and use their powers sparsely if it means keeping their true nature a secret " . Hayley replied with a shrug of her shoulders , making other nod in agreement with her .

The girls continued walking through the various common rooms , where Lizzie's had on a mischievous look as she spoke to her sister , " There's someone we need to recruit to our Island of Misfit Toys . Tall , hot , and handsome... " .

Josie's smiled fell when she realized who her sister is talking about , " Rafael ? " . she asked with dread .

Alaric and Luke snarled in clear anger and disgust while liv , Jo Caroline , Bonnie and Elena giggled in excitement .

Lizzie beamed happily at her as a plan started to form in her mind , " I'm thinking tight end ... " . she started with a smirk but was cut off by someone else .

Once again , the girls have just passed Penelope , who is sitting sideways on an armchair , reading a book , she interrupted her with clear enjoyment , " I just saw him " .

The girls turned to face Penelope , scowling at their classmate as she took great pleasure in messing with them . She continued speaking with a fake nice tone , " Yeah , sorry . Raf's not gonna be at the game . He hopped the Henry Train out of town . Just like your dad " .

Penelope licked her middle fingertip and dramatically used it to turn the page in her book . Josie and Lizzie gave each other knowing looks .

" is it only me or is Penelope making it her live mission tormenting the girls " . Jo asked rhetorically her eyes glaring dagger at the witch .

" that and she has something against my Nephew " . Rebekah Growled angrily .

" Penelope has always being jealous of Lizzie's hold on Josie and how much time she took from their relationship . as well as Henry's place in Josie's heart " . Ayana explained much to the observer's amusement and chagrin .

Route 29 :

It is obvious by the panicked expression on her face that she's scared , Alaric held up his hands in a nonthreatening manner trying to calm her down . " It's okay . I...I'm not gonna hurt you " .

The woman looked back and forth between Alaric , Henry , and Rafael just as the former started to question her on what happened , " Were you on the bus ? Can you tell us what happened ? " .

He is using the death spell on the Dragon ! " . Kol pointed out with amusement .

After a moment , Henry awakened to find he was laying on the ground , the Grimoire page laying to his left and the knife laying to his right , The dragon has reverted back to her human form and was laying flat on her stomach when she suddenly began to stir . The woman remained silent and continued to beg nonverbally with her hand outstretched , and Henry , overwhelmed , lost his patience and pleaded with her , " Say something ! " .

The dragon , still on her hands and knees , turned around , her eyes glowing reddish-orange as she prepared to blast fire at Henry . but Before he can react, Alaric appeared behind Him and immediately grab the knife out of his hand , stabbing the dragon-woman in the throat with it before the flames reached full intensity . Alaric and Henry looked down at the lifeless creature in front of them , having finally slayed the dragon .

" you killed her , you killed her denying us important answer's you moron " . Klaus raged at Alaric .

" I just saved your son live " . Alaric replied shocked at his words .

" he is a werewolf , he can dodge , but you just killed our only chance at answers to why we didn't know Dragons existed for over a Millennium ? , or Why she wanted that damned knife ? " . Kol shouted at him equally as furious as his hybrid brother .

None has a retort to their accusation knowing that they do has a point the Dragon woman was more useful to them alive than dead .

Lizzie was in her room , gingerly touching the large bruise on her left eye and cheek from being punched by Dana as she looked in a compact mirror . Just then , Josie returned to her room with a bag of frozen peas and held them out as a peace offering to ice her sister's black eye . " You mad at me ? " . she asked her worriedly .

Lizzie sighed and sat down the compact before responding in a glum voice , " No . I'm mad at the world , and you just happen to be in it " .

" oh Lizzie , you should calm down a little " . Jo advised her daughter .

Josie took a deep breath and closed the door before speaking cautiously , " Well , you're about to be ... " .

" she is going to confess about the games isn't she !? " . Hayley asked in shock .

" seems like it , don't know why thought , it will only make Lizzie more mad at her " . Rebekah answered her equally as surprised and curious .

She walked until she was standing in front of Lizzie's bed , " I did a little spell at the ... I made Kaleb drop the ball " . she confessed fearfully .

" Here we go , Hope Lizzie don't blow up " . Alaric sighed wearily .

Josie sighed again before she continued , " And I totally did black magic with Henry " .

" oh my , how brave " . Klaus chuckled amusedly .

" considering the bad blood between the two she will definitely blow up " . Jo said anxiously as she wrangled her hands .

Lizzie considered what Josie has just confessed , looking clearly upset at this news before her eyes hardened , " Well , let's just call this what it is . You betrayed me " . she accessed her sister angrily .

Alaric and Jo winched in sympathy for Josie . " she is being a tad bit being Dramatic " .

Josie sat down on the bed in front of Lizzie tired and upset as she explained to her , " I was worried about disappointing Dad . So , I disappointed you instead " .

Josie held out the bag of frozen peas , and both sisters look as though they're about to cry , it was Lizzie who spoke first tearful, but prideful as she pronounced every word , " I'll forgive you if you promise not to keep secrets about doing black magic with Henry . You're my sister ... my best friend ... and he spent the last ten years making us feel like we don't matter . And I don't like feeling that way . Not from Henry , and not from girls like Dana ... Not from Dad , and not from you " .

Everyone was sad by her words even the Mikaelson's felt pity for her and were adamant on correcting Henry's on that front at least .

Josie nodded in agreement and promised her , " I promise . Okay ? I'm sorry " .

Lizzie's tone was much kinder when she finally responded , " It's okay . I mean , betrayal and all aside , you had my back today " . she said happily .

JOSIE smiled and returned softly , " And you had mine " .

The two smiled and laid down , snuggling up to one another in Lizzie's bed , " So... what are we gonna do about Dad ? " . Josie asked her worriedly .

" Aww " . The women cooed , loving the sisterly moment . Alaric and Jo beamed happily feeling proud at their daughters close bond .

" More like , what is he gonna do to us ? " . Lizzie asked her with an eye roll and nonchalant shrug .

" ground your asses until you are officially adult is one thing " . Alaric Joked half serious .

Josie couldn't help but chuckle as she grabbed the bag of frozen peas and used them to ice Lizzie's black eye .

ROUTE 29 :

Alaric was sitting on the hood of his car when Henry returned from his walk on the wood , he frowned when he saw that Alaric was all alone , " Where are they ? " . he asked him curiously .

Alaric sighed and answered him , " Gone . I found this on the windshield when I got back " . he handed him a piece of paper .

" they run off , so much for catching them and bringing them back . half of this rip was for naught " . Jeremy complained .

Klaus was Happy that Landon was not returning with henry to school , " Good riddance " . he said Happily.

" um , you do know that he is still a liability to our existence ? " . Hayley asked him pointedly .

" please who will believe his claim we are so entrenched in myth that no one will take him seriously , and those who do know the importance of keeping the supernatural a secret " . Klaus argued with , making everyone relax at his reasoning .

" still it will be better if he was back under our eyes " . Caroline said determinedly .

Henry examined It and knew it was a letter from Landon he opened to read it , the letter was narrated by Landon in a voiceover , " Dear Henry ... ROUTE 29 :

The scene changed to further down the road , where Landon and Rafael were in the middle of trying to hitchhike . Landon held out a fist with his thumb off , but the truck they're trying to flag down for a ride just drove right past them , " I have never been welcomed anywhere in my life . I'm always the extra . The mouth they didn't want to feed . If I caused trouble , I was out . When you grow up like that , you learn to protect yourself . You do what you have to to survive " .

" that so sad , can't we do anything for him and Rafael ? " . Elena asked Ayana tearfully .

" maybe we could come up with something for him " . Ayana acquiescenced .

SALVATORE BOARDING SCHOOL (JOSIE LIZZIE'S ROOM) :

The scene changed back to Josie and Lizzie's room , where Alaric walked in to find his twin daughters half asleep in Lizzie's bed . The sound of him opening the door stirred them awake , and Josie immediately bolted up to greet him , " Dad , I can explain ... " . she started .

" no need I don't think I would be in the mood or have then energy to talk after today " . Alaric assured his daughter .

Instead of demanding an explanation about the events that occurred at the game , Alaric simply sat on the bed and gave Josie and Lizzie a big hug , clearly happy that the three of them are alive and well .

" I never had a real family . And that's not to make you feel sorry for me . I'm trying to make you understand ... I lied to protect myself , and in doing so , I hurt you . And for that , I will be forever sorry " .

"Still not enough for him to be forgiven on my Book ". Klaus said imperiously .

" it's not your forgiveness he is seeking Brother " . Elijah pointed out to him with a smirk .

Henry was sitting on his desk one hand on it holding the letter open as he reread it the other hand caressing Hayley's Hayley's crescent Necklace .

" The time I spent with you the other night was one of the happiest moments in my life . I hate that I ruined it . Your school's secret is safe with me . With regret , Landon " .

At the end Caroline and liv had tears falling down their cheeks and looked to be shipping the two even harder than before .

Henry looked over at his dresser, where there are two framed pictures . The first was of when the Mikaelsons were at the safe house shortly after rescuing Klaus from Marcel's captivity , with Elijah , Freya , Kol , Klaus , and Rebekah pictured standing next to a seven year old boy that was clearly Henry holding his father hand Hayley standing behind him with her arm around his shoulder hugging him . The second was taken at the masquerade ball held at the Mikaelson Mansion in Dangerous Liaisons with Klaus , Elijah , Kol , and Rebekah pictures . The sight of both makes Henry's face crumple in pain and tears well on his eyes , making it obvious that even two years later , He was still grieving the loss of his parents .

Everyone examined the pictures curiously especially Klaus and Hayley who noticed the slight differences in appearance between herself now and on the picture , " Why am I on the family photo ? " . she asked Ayana curiously .

" you are related to Henry and you were taking care of him when this picture was taken " . Ayana explained mirthfully .

Hayley nodded and returned to examining the picture more attentively , Klaus gave her incredulous looks once he was sure she swallowed Ayana's excuse . he gave the woman a Dark look but didn't refute her adamant on not being the one to point out the true relation between her and Henry .

Elijah pointed at a figure on the picture standing beside him , ' And Who might this be ? " . he asked curiously , noting the similarities between her and Klaus and Rebekah .

His phone lit up with and the screen showed a picture of a fifteen year old Henry with Hayley and same mysterious blonde woman each hugging one side of him and the three beaming , the picture of the screen shifted to that of the blonde older woman alone and it read , ' aunt Freya ' .

" what !? " . Finn , Klaus and Elijah breathed out in shock .

" my eyes are desceving me ! " . Kol chuckled in shock .

Rebekah eyes nearly bulged from their sockets .

The odd reaction garnered the Other curiosity , and they watched the originals silently writing for a clue or an explanation .

" Ayana ! " . Finn cried out in wounded tone .

" she really is her Finn , please gibe me a little time and you will have all your answers " . she pleaded with them , they nodded begrudgingly but didn't let down on their wariness and curiosity , Finn especially seemed shaken .

SALVATORE BOARDING SCHOOL (ENTRANCE) :

Alaric was at the entrance of the school , where he was yanking on the gates to test how strong they are . After a moment , Dorian , who looked amused , approached him and asked him teasingly , " Trying to make a run for it ? " .

ALARIC chuckled and answered him , " Yeah . I just noticed the gate wasn't locking the other day " .

" you should thank your stars that no more students had run away then " . Jeremy teased trying to lighten up the atmosphere from the suffocating intensity it was in , and succeeded a little .

Dorian frowned in concern , and asked him worriedly , " You worried about people getting out ? " .

ALARIC sighed and shoke his head as he answered him seriously , " I'm worried about what might want to get in . We've gotten cozy here . Careless . I'd forgotten the world is full of nasty surprises . I don't know what the story is behind that knife , but whatever it is , I ... " he took a deep breath and released it before continuing , " Oooh . Saw something today I never thought I'd see in this lifetime . And it scared me . You know , I opened this school to protect these kids . To protect my daughters . How am I supposed to protect them from stuff that's not supposed to exist ? " . he asked Dorian clearly lost and scared .

" we all want Answer to that question ? " . Damon sighed .

Alaric and Dorian wandered away from the gates and headed back to the school , not noticing that . in on a nearby stone gargoyle , which stood silently until the last moment , had opened its eyes to reveal glowing bright red irises , revealing that the next threat may just be locked inside the gates rather than outside of them .

" oh my God , its alive " . Carol cried out terrified .

" it's inside our school " . Caroline shouted fearfully .

" another mythical monster after that Knife " . Klaus concluded with a frown .

" what are we gonna do ? , what am I gonna do ? " . Alaric cried out anxiously .

" we can only watch and see , Dr . Saltzman " . Elijah answered him with a sigh .

AN :

Here is the new chapter , I had altered some scenes and add some parts I want your input of they are too much , do you want me to stick with the script .

I had Henry call Alaric out on his hypocrisy , he had opened this school to help the supernatural I don't see him trying to help the Dragon lady , she killed some passengers but look who is his best friends and surrogate children , and he has no qualm using hope as bodyguard slash fighter and using her power . but only on his terms otherwise she is her father caught and not his student at least step a way from the dragon corpse before lecturing her would you ? .

Freya's truth came out , and she will join us next chapter . question is should I bring other faces like Marcel ? , Davina ? , Etc ... Think about it and tell me .
