It's been a while, huh? An entire month, a ton of things happen on September and I want to catch up with some things. I hope that after this, I return to my normal schedule.
Chapter 6: Eisenwald
"I'm so nervous. Why if she thinks that I'm lame? Or if I do something bad and end up looking like a fool?!"
"Calm down, miss Lucy. You're exaggerating." The two mages were at the train station, waiting for the other members of their team to arrive.
"You guys came early?" Gray arrived to the station, he had a small bag on his shoulders.
"Yes. Miss Lucy was very nervous so I decided to join her. Do you know anything about Erza?"
"Nada. But I don't think that she-"
"Everyone is here, good." Speaking of the devil, the redheaded knight also came to the station with….a massive bandwagon carrying dozens of cases.
"What's with all the luggage?!" Lucy screamed.
"I don't want to offend you, but I find your equipage a little…exaggerated. Do you really need all that stuff?"
"Yes."
"Very well, let's go. I don't want to lose the train." Lucy stared at the dragon knight walking with Erza and entering the train. Honestly, she didn't expect that such an opportunity will appear before her.
"You're the girl from yesterday…"
"My name is Lucy. Nice to meet you."
"Are you a friend of Natsu's?"
"Y-Yes. Natsu-san invited me to take part of this mission. I hope it doesn't bother you."
"At all. I hear how you singlehanded destroyed a human trafficking ring by yourself."
"That was Natsu-san."
"I'm glad to have such a strong mage in our team."
"Are actually hearing what I'm saying?"
"Let's go."
Lucy feel like a third wheel on this team. Not get her wrong, she was glad that Natsu asked to join in and she REALLY needed that money but she didn't match up with this team. Like at all! She was sure that any of them could kill a horde of monster without taking a sweat. Still, Natsu was here so she would be find.
If he was anything like Etherius, then he will be able to complete the mission spectacularly.
That being said… "Are you ok, Natsu-san?" He was wearing his full armor, helmet and all, but she can easily tell that he wasn't taking well this trip.
"I'm fine…don't worry…"
"Oh my god, you still haven't get over your travel dizziness?"
"You get dizzy by getting on trains?"
"On any vehicle, actually. I don't get how you managed to steal a boat."
"I'm not dizzy….you know that sensation you have when someone gives you something you don't like to eat? Well….that's how I feel…I overcome that weakness of me…but that doesn't mean that I enjoy travelling…"
"Seems some things never change. I have no choice, seat by my side."
"There's no need…" Natsu refused Erza's order so instead of insisting, the redheaded woman sit at his side. "What?"
*POW!*
All of the sudden, Erza punch him in the gut. It made a very strong sound but what truly surprise the blond was that Natsu was still on the same position. How durable was he?
"Why did you strike me?"
"I thought that if I knock you out, you could at least rest until we reach the next station."
"They are better ways to do it than hit me, Erza."
"...You're absolutely right. My apologizes, I allow you to-"Before she could finish her sentence, Natsu punch her on her stomach with the same or perhaps more power than hers. She spit some of her saliva meaning that it actually hurt her. Lucy was shocked but Gray looked completely terrified.
"ARE YOU NUTS?! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA OF WHAT YOU JUST DID?!"
"I punish her for what she did to me. That makes us-"An armored fist hit his helmet, almost taking it off.
"I'm sorry my hand slipped, how silly of me." She said with venom on her voice. Lucy was shivering in fear for what was going to happen on this train.
And her fears were proven right by the kick that hit Erza on the face, crushing her against the wall and leaving a crack on it.
"You must forgive me, Erza. My body has an odd condition were I made involuntary moments." Her response was a knee to his face, it was amazing how flexible she was (but her panties were visible). But she froze on her position, her knee started to bleed.
"D-Dammit…" She retrieve her knee and grab it. It looked very bad, she could have broken her knee.
"Drink this." Natsu offered a yellow flask. "Don't worry, drink it." Erza grabbed the flask and drink it. She open her eyes wide open when she don't longer feel any pain. She saw her now missing wound. "What is this?"
"It's estus. An elixir made to trade physical wounds."
"I drink potions before, no one with could match the level of quality of what you just give. Where did you get it?"
"I made it myself."
"Really?"
"Didn't know you made potions, Natsu-san."
"Well, I'm officially an apothecary."
"Waitwaitwait. You, the guy who can't think straight two words, makes potions and sell them for money?" Gray didn't believe what he just heard. "Wait, for as I know, you need a title to be an apothecary. When did you go to college?"
"I made a course. Is a techicature rather than a college title. Mostly because I only know how to made estus."
"That sounds like a rip-off."
"I made estus like no one else does. But let's get into more urgent matters: the mission."
"Indeed. Tell me, how many of you heard about Eisenwald?"
"I fought a couple of their wizards in some missions. Fucking trash, is what they are."
"Tell me about them."
"Eisenwald is a dark guild, they mostly specialize on assassination and kidnapping. One of the best for what they say. But that's unimportant, what is important is the Intel I gather from their members, is that they stole a magic device from the government. But they couldn't use them because it was seal."
"Let me guess, they want to break the seal."
"Yes…at first, I thought that they wanted to gain some unknown or forbidden magic, but then they say one name: Eligor."
"Eligor?! Are you serious?!"
"Forgive my ignorance, but who is this 'Eligor'?"
"He is the ace mage of Eisenwald, often called "The reaper""
"R-Reaper?"
"A nickname people gave him because he kept taking assassinations jobs. He is too good and truly enjoy his missions."
"UUUggghhhh….." Natsu interrupted the girl. "I-I'm going to late down a little, inform me when we reach the station…." Natsu rested his head on the seat.
"Well, some things never changes…."
"Anyways, according to the info I gather from my contacts; Eligor is now the current guild Master of Eisenwald. Gray. Lucy. Avoid him at all costs, besides his great skill with a scythe his wind magic is tremendous. An S level type wizard."
"Oh, sound like fun."
"Don't take him lightly. Other mages did and payed the consequences. Only I will engage with him."
"Fine. But I hope that you take that advice for you as well."
"Don't worry. I won't."
The train arrived to the station. The fairies left the train with all their belongings.
"What's so important that you needed help from us?"
"What those people stole was the cursed song flute: Lullaby."
"Are you…..talking about that 'Lullaby'?" Lucy exclaimed
"Have you heard about it?"
"I read it on a book…Lullaby also called 'the song of death'. Is a magic flute made by the dark wizard himself, Zeref. Accordingly to the tales, Lullaby's song can kill whoever who listen to its song….if people like them get it into their hands…"
They didn't say it but the result was quite obvious. "So, what's the plan?"
"Thankfully, they aren't able to use the flute…yet. Is a matter of time that they break the seals that contain its true power. But we're going to stop them before it happens."
"Meaning?"
"We're going to strike Eisewald at its heart."
"I really like that plan."
"Guys?" The two mages turned their heads to see the blonde mage. "Where is Natsu-san?"
*CHOOOOOOO—CHOOOOOOOOOOO-*
The same train that bring them here was leaving the station. The three of them watch how the vehicle was slowly leaving them behind.
"Guys?"
"Yes?"
"Is Natsu-san in that train?"
"Yes."
The train was already left the station. Natsu was resting alone on his cabinet. Actually, he was the only person inside that wagon. Or so he thought.
A young man appeared and sit on the seat right next to him. He was smiling at him but never actually see him.
"Oh my…I read about you on the news…to come back from the death…quite the feat. I actually quite envy you. You are the talk of the town. I bet there a ton of girls that want to talk with you. My guild doesn't have any girls…"
Natsu didn't say anything. The mage put his hand together and look the floor.
"Do you know Mirajane? I'm her fan, I have a ton of her magazine. She is very cute…I also hear that the new girl is cute. And that Erza girl, she is cute too. Too many cute girls, do you mind to share with the poor?"
He didn't receive nothing from the Dragon Slayer. "C'mon, aren't you going to say something? Or you don't believe that I deserve a girl?"
"Girls or women?"
"OH MY GOD~~~! YOU TALK~~~~~!"
"You were talking about females. So I ask you: girls or women?"
"I don't get you question, man."
"Sorry, I meant, which you prefer?"
"Are both the same?"
"Oh, no, no, no, no, no. I can assure that they are not the same. Trust me." He was talking but still laying down. "When I was a Kid, Master and the adult were always teasing us about girls. I never understand what where they saying. Don't get me wrong, I knew about sex and all that stuff. But I was never into girls. They never interested me. They call me an idiot for that but then I realized something: all the females in Fairy Tail were girls and all the men were into girls."
"It wasn't until I met a woman, a REAL WOMAN, when I realize that I wasn't into girls but into women."
"Well-"
"And when I mean a woman, I not just referring to their age or their appearance. No, is more than that. Is…is their eyes. Their attitude. I'm not a womanizer but I was with two women. Well, is too complicated to explain but let's say we have a…open relationship. I remember when I met them. They….They were special. A man is worth the woman he is with it. My good sir, I can assure that a good woman is hard to handle."
"A good woman is the one you can't truly have. The one you can't get enough, one that never let you get away with it. One that doesn't lost their pride as a woman. A woman that you cannot consume. For me, a good woman has the same worth as a good man. Someone you can entrust your life with…..yeah, they are good. Too good for me…"
"Sounds wonderful. Do you think that I can get one?"
"You still haven't answer my question. Girls or women?"
"…..At this point of my life, I grab what I get."
"Fair enough." All of the sudden, the member of Eisenwald felt something stinging his chest. He look down and saw a massive sword piercing his torso. Blood drained his mouth and spill all over his pants. "Perhaps you're worthy enough to get an angel." Natsu removed his sword from the mage, dropping dead to the floor. "Or a succubus. I don't know you, so I can't tell you what will be of you in afterlife."
He had a plan in stores but seeing that the dark guild members were inside the train, his plan will start before he predicted.
"Hehehe. I fired up."
