AN: Hey y'all, I just wanted to thank you for being patient with me while I wrote this next chapter. I am having so much fun writing and hearing everyone feedback.

Thanks for sticking with me. So, I know I've gotten a few comments about Bella killing Edward wouldn't be very 'bella' of her. I don't THINK I'll have her kill him.

SHIT FOR BRAINS (EDWARD)

Could vampires be hungover? Edward groaned softly as he sat himself up. He felt as if a train had hit him, and when on his way to the hospital the ambulance had blown up.

It was not a good feeling. He'd just propped himself up when the reality came crashing down on him once more. He'd hurt his poor Bella.

Edward fell over once more, curling into fetal position and lying motionless. He could still see her on the floor of the catwalk, still hear Alice's screams. Why did he do that?

He could vaguely make out the thoughts of his siblings and even their coven matriarch. He did his best to tune it out, wanting to be alone.

He knew that Bella had begun growing distant for some time. The light wasn't there in her voice, she stopped texting as often, stopped calling almost all together, her heart never even skipped when he smiled at her or touched her.

He could fix it, he could be different. Edwad began to rise from his fetal position as a clamoring from upstairs caught his attention. Things would be different. Once Bella was better, he could take them away from all of this. Away from him.

His lip curled in a silent snarl at the thought of him. Edward would give Bella what she wanted most finally, he could promise they would leave to Isle Esme and that they would spend her change and newborn year together just the two of them.

Yes, that would work. She'd always wanted forever with him. He'd wanted to spare her this existence but if it couldn't be avoided any longer who was he to deny her what she most wanted. He knew she still wanted forever with Edward, how could she not? She was obviously just swept up in the over-the-top attention this guy was giving her. She was trying to test him, to see how far he was willing to go.

He just hoped Bella could forgive him for obviously taking her test too far. He hadn't even given her a chance to apologize for pushing him to that point. Surely before she passed out, she realized if she hadn't let Damon defile and taint her as his memories showed, Edward would have had a much more reasonable reaction.

Snarls pulled him out of his thoughts, and he came to the steel door to look out and see who Damon had decided to wrongfully imprison next.

BELLA

In the end, Bella had been too upset to remember how to get to the basement. Damon was leading her snarling form down the stairs while the rest of the group waited upstairs. Jasper had decided to come along, for mediation purposes he'd assured Bella.

They were half way down the stairs when Bella could hear him shift his weight, and his scent hit her nostrils.

"You piece of shit!" She screamed, running to the door she could see his face at. She threw herself against it, snarling. She could feel the warmth of her venom pooling in her mouth and blackening her eyes and veins in her face. Satisfaction made her curled lips curve sideways, as Edward had stepped back from the bars, his back flat against the wall.

"How could you?! Because I was actually moving on? Because what, I was sick of waiting for you to actually prove you gave a shit about me and my opinions?!" He wouldn't look at her, and it only fed her anger. She took the short pause she was giving to let him answer as time to study him.

He was no longer the flawless Adonnis Bella has remembered, his hair was limp and matted in spots, his eyes were dark despite the bags of blood on the floor, he was still staring at her silently. He looked like an animal, His expression was one of horror, tinged with what Bella could see was realization.

He looked like shit.

Good. Bella thought to herself.

She felt Damon step to her side, her fury muting only slightly as he put a comforting hand on her back. "Eddy, you owe the lady something.."

At Damon's voice Bella watched the shell of Edward inflate. If he were an actual animal Bella was sure she would have seen the hair on the back of his neck rising.

"Edward, say something dammit!" Bella heard herself shout, her eyes now fixated on Edward. He had stalked forward, closing the small distance of the room between them. His eyes were hard as he looked between Damon and Bella; whose anger was slowly ebbing and being replaced by fear. Unbeknownst to her, Jasper had already began silently attempting to calm to storm that was beginning between the three separated by the door.

When Jasper had calmed him enough, Edward ran a hand through his matted hair to smooth it back. "Bella, Love, I understand why you did this. I know that you weren't given much of a choice in the past, but to turn to... to whatever this creature is ? Can't you see how I've hurt? See how because I love you so much i'm willing to lose you to let you live the human life you deserve?"

Bella had begun backing away, held in place be Damons hand only. "Edward, it was never about how much you've been hurting. The only thing you wanted was to have your cake and eat it to. Can't we just finally be honest about that much?"

Edward stiffened slightly, the darkness in his eyes increasing in intensity. "Bella, If you'd only listened to me when I said I wanted you home for a surprise instead of going on that wretched trip, you'd realize that I was actually going to be taking you to Isle Esme. I was going to turn you, Bella."

Guilt punched a gaping hole in her chest and she moved to step away from Damon, ignoring the hurt that cracked the emotionless mask Damon was currently wearing. How could she not have realized? what if-

"He's lying, Darlin'." Jasper drawled softly, reminding them of his presence. She frowning deeply.

"Shut the fuck up, Hale." Edward growled, to which Bella's frown only deepened.

"Edward, I'm sorry, but you had to have known that even if I'd never met Damon," She paused to flicker her eyes to Damon's frame. He was leaning against the wall, feigning disinterest. She knew she had hurt him, even if the move had been a reflex. " that we would have ended up apart."

"Isabella," Edward snapped, like a parent scolding a child. Bella flinched, stepping further away from the door. She missed the way that Damon's jaw had flexed, but noticed the great interest Jasper had taken in staring at him. "You sound ridiculous. Or do you not remember the first time I attempted to leave you?"

"That's enough," Damon stepped forward, wrapping an arm around her and pulling her to his chest. Edward had begun to growl again, the sound heightening Bella's fear.

"Don't touch her."

"Isabella," Damon spoke softly, squeezing her shoulder to draw her gaze to his and away from Edward. "We can go upstairs anytime. You don't have to do this anymore." He had reached down between them and grabbed one of her hands, rubbing soothing circles in the back of it.

Edward exploded, snarling and growling the way he had when he had held her in the vice grip.

"I said don't touch her!" He bellowed, the metal creaking under the strain of keeping Edward contained.

The lungs she didn't really need to function were shrinking, and she felt like she was back on the catwalk, the edges of her vision were ebbing to darkness. Could transitioning vampires faint? "Edward, stop." She gasped, her free hand game up to clutch at Damon's arm tightly.

Wordless shouts and snarls continued as Bella stared in horror, frozen to the spot with the same fear she'd felt before she had died. The doors were screaming beneath Edward's efforts to free himself and she wondered if the door was indeed strong enough to hold him.

Before she could find out, Damon had scooped her up and ran her up the stairs through the group of vampires that had gathered at the top of the stairs. She felt the safety of the couch under her as he sat her down and situated himself beside her. The rest of the group trickled in, till everyone was expectantly staring at Damon.

"Guess this is as good a time as any..." He mumbled under his breath, waiting till everyone had taken a seat or gotten comfortable.

Bella turned to stare at him, curious as to how her new vampirism worked.

"Newborns of Originals are... way different than you. For example, while we are strong in our newborn phases; we simply get stronger as we age. Originals; obviously, being the strongest of us all." He paused and looked to her, who nodded for him to continue. She needed to know this.

"A vampire in transition, such as Bella, has 24 hours to drink blood to finalize the transformation or they simply die like they were supposed to. Bella has this time to choo-"

"I want to finish the transition." She cut him off, nodding in agreement with herself as she spoke. Damon's gaze clouded with something for just a milisecond before he shut it off.

"Well, when I give Bella the blood bag to drink from; she will be a full vampire and will need one of these bad boys." Damon held up his right hand, showing off the daylight ring he currently was wearing. "Sunlight unfortunately affects us very stereotypically. We will burn up if we are not wearing these. I have a necklace for her I've already had blessed."

That made her smile softly. He'd already planned as far ahead as her turning?

"Why did she have such intense emotions around Edward?" Jasper asked, his arm wrapped around Alice in his lap.

"Vampirism magnifies many of the emotions that a human was feeling towards other people. She was angry with Edward; and she was terrified of him which is why when he began to get angry, she began to feel fear." Bella scooted closer to Damon, nearly in his lap, spurred by her desire to be closer to him.

"It heightens, every sense, Isabella." He swooped his head down to speak into her ear, causing her to squeak softly and swat his arm embarrassedly.

"Damon," She hissed, not missing the knowing grin each mated pair had given each other. Each pair, save for the heads of the Cullen coven.

"Well, this cross species of vampirism must affect the mating bond, there is no way that Bella had ever feared Edward in the past. They were very much in love." Carlisle spoke gently, his hands held up peacefully.

Bella had been about to protest when, to her surprise, Jasper turned and addressed their father figure. "Carlisle, you can't feel him the way I can. There is no mating bond between them. Edward needs time to calm himself. All I feel is rage and hurt. Bella was drowning in her own fear."

Carlisle fell silent at his words, a contemplating look on his face.

Bella had to speak up, she couldn't just let them sit and discuss her anymore as though she were still as helpless as the Bella of four days ago.

She pushed herself up from the couch, taking time to gather her thoughts. "I am, incredibly thankful to you all. Were it not for the Cullen family; I would have never known was a functioning family and unconditional love and support looked like. It's hard to sit here and realize that as much as I am thankful, I am angry. I was the token human. Bell Barbie. Pitiful Bella. I was considered a member of the Coven in name only."

She held up a hand to stop the protests before they could leave her mouth. "Even when time after time Edward broke his promise of turning me, and long after I had mentally given up on a future with him. I don't blame you. Sure I was considered a part of the family, but ultimately forever was only between the group of you. Bella's 50-60 years was a blip on the radar in the grand scheme of things for you."

She turned and found it incredibly hard to look at Damon suddenly, so she decided to look at his knee. "I met Damon... and sure, I was blacked out, and I ran the next morning... but coming here, learning about myself outside of your family, actually getting to know the Mikaelsons and Damon..." She bit her lip momentarily and shrugged her shoulders, turning to face the Cullens again.

"I know there's no such thing as mating between these sort of vampires... But for the first time in a long time, I have a choice. And from now until as long as Damon and I decide... I want to choose him."

.

AN: Hey! What did you think? New chapter Wednesday,

I know a lot of people thought that Bella would kill him, and it might seem too wishy washy on her feelings towards him; but the heightened emotional state of newborn original vamps is just too good of an idea to tinker with.

I doubt the Cullen's will leave, but I'm not sure what to do with Edward. Also, what did you think of his POV?

I wanted to show how easy he can rationalize his behaviors to himself, and how dangerously real he thinks that the things he thinks are.

Plus I don't want Edward to be this animal with no thought process like other stories- even if his thoughts are sort of fucked up.
