Chapter 4: Princess Zelda.
At Castle Town.
Zoro, Usopp, Robin were walking through the same places, without causing any scenes.
However, Zoro was already bored. "Yawn... This is boring..."
"For once I agree," Usopp said looking bored too. "Don't you agree Robin?"
No answer, the long-nose man turned to see the archaeologist looking the left. "What are you looking at?" He looked in the direction, there stood a building that resembled a church. "What is that?"
"I don't know, a church, but doesn't look like one, it's unlike one I'd ever seen," Robin said putting her hand under her chin.
That's when Zoro noticed a guard. "Hey, you!"
The guard turned around in question. "Huh, do you need something?"
"Can you tell anything on that church that's over there?" Zoro asked pointing ahead.
The guard turned to see what building that the green-haired man was pointing at. "Oh that, that's Temple of Time."
The three pirates were puzzled at the name. "Temple..." Zoro began.
"of..." Usopp added.
"Time..." Robin finished.
"Yeah, it's got the history, I don't know much since I just transferred here about a month ago, but I heard that the place has a hidden treasure deep in the temple," The guard explained.
"Treasure, what kind of treasure?" Usopp asked seemingly interested.
"A blad that banes evil, Master Sword," The guard replied.
That got Zoro's interest, which it would, being a swordsman himself, he had heard of legendary swords of different kinds, but this one caught his interest. "Really, can we see it?"
"Sorry, but there's a door that sealed away the legendary blade and can only be unlocked by special stones and another treasure," The guard replied shaking his head.
"What is this other treasure?" Robin asked.
"Even I don't know that, but it's also the key to these three stones I heard about," The guard explained. "Anyway, that's all I know, so good day you three."
With that guard left.
"You know..." Robin began to say as Zoro and Usopp looked at her. "I wonder if the three stones that guard spoke of, I bet it's these spiritual stones,"
"Good point, on top of that, Link was given one by that old Great Deku Tree geezer," Usopp added.
Robin nodded and continued to her theory. "Also, the one that cursed the Deku Tree, might end up cursing other places that have the other two Spiritual Stones too."
"That doesn't sound good," Usopp said shivering in fright. "Knowing him, his monsters are causing more havoc and even death."
"So what is our next step?" Robin questioned.
"I suggest since we can't find anything else here, we might as well wait outside where to draw bridge is," Zoro suggested.
"Right, Luffy and Link are sure to meet up with us later too," Robin agreed.
Just then Sanji and his group arrived where the water fountain was, Brook was wearing a cloak so that no one could see him, Franky had to wear pants for the time being, despite the protests he had.
"To think..." He paused for a moment seeing a lot of beautiful women even ones that had big breasts. "There are such pretty damsels here!"
He started to take each women's hands he could take. "Where have you girls been my life!?"
Other female bystanders were a little weirded out by the chef's womanizing behavior.
"Who is this creepazoid?"
"A pervert maybe?"
"No, he's a womanizer and pervert!"
Brook then walked up to a girl with pointy ears. "Oh my, such a lovely woman and has pointy ears too, that's something I never before."
The pointy-eared girl was a little nervous, Brook opened his mouth. "Miss, would you be kind of enough to show me your panties?"
Whack
The girl kicked the skeleton in the face. "Go away creep!"
"Ow..." Brook fell on his side with a red lump on his face.
"Pervert cook, can you think of any else besides women?" Zoro approached the chef.
"Huh?" The cook turned around enraged. "Where have you been, is Robin okay too?"
Robin just walked up to the group. "Don't worry cook, I'm fine."
Sanji was smitten by Robin's beauty as usual. "ROBIN!" He called out with pink hearts in his eyes.
Nami clapped her hands. "Excuse me, as much I like a reunion, we need to report anything that we have so far!"
"Right away Nami-san!" Sanji said in loverboy mode.
M
At the secret courtyard
Luffy and Link began to chat with Princess Zelda.
Link revealed the Spiritual Stone. "This is the stone you wanted to see." He reached into his other pocket. "Here's your Ocarina, you dropped when you ran off."
Zelda was grateful. "Thank you...and you too Luffy, you and your friends saved me."
Luffy just grinned. "It's fine, no need to make a big deal out of it."
The fairy boy began to rub his head embarrassingly. "Yeah, but, what a surprise that it turned out like this..."
Suddenly Zelda gasped quietly, looking in the direction of the small tunnel that lead the courtyard.
There stood a red-haired man with dark skin, he was tall, he looked well built too, he then bowed kindly to the princess. "Greetings Princess Zelda, I've come to see you father."
Zelda wasn't amused at the presence of this man. " Sir Ganondorf!" She huffed. "How rude of you to enter this courtyard without permission!"
"I am sorry," The dark man said with an apologetic smile. "It would be an honor to be allowed to affiliate with the rest of Hyrule."
Luffy looked at the man, he wasn't happy to see the guy either as Ganondorf continued to speak. "No country, nor princess is more beautiful."
Zelda was still uncomfortable at the man's presence. "Flattery isn't needed, step away from me!" Her voice sounded demanding.
Then a look of curiosity formed on Ganondorf's face. "By the way, the treasure that's passed down through the royal family..."
"Treasure...?" Link thought.
"I believe it's called the "Ocarina of Time" is it not, you have it, don't you?" Ganondorf finished his question.
"I don't anything of what you speak of, but I heard there were the same thing from some ruffians," Zelda replied narrowing her eyes at the man. "Acquaintances of yours, maybe?"
Ganondorf noticed the looks that Link and Luffy were giving him he knew that he didn't want to start a fight, not yet anyway, so he turned around and left.
"Who is that jerk?" Luffy wondered.
"That's Ganondorf, the leader of the Gerudo tribe, who live in the far west," Zelda explained seeing the man leave in the direction he came from.
"What does he mean by "Meeting your father"? Link asked.
"He means, that he's come to work under my father's army, he swears loyalty to him, but I ain't no fool," Zelda said her face still unconvinced by the Ganon's words. "I know that he's after the Triforce which is in this Holy Land."
Link was puzzled at this detail. "Holy Land, Triforce, what is that?" But then a thought occurred to him. "Wait, this man, he must be the one that the Great Deku Tree was talking about!"
"He killed your friend," Luffy gritted his teeth. "That bastard."
The three eventually sat down on the steps that were next to the window that Zelda was looking through. "I've been having this dream... A frightening one in which dark clouds cover Hyrule..."
"That sucks, I guess, but doesn't everyone have bad dreams?" Luffy questioned.
"Let her continue," Navy grumbled at the boy's mouth.
"Anyway, at that time a single beam of light appears, it cuts through the dark clouds and shines upon the earth," Zelda continued.
Luffy yawned, likely he was bored as usual. "There is also a figure, no, not just one, but several more, with a ship that has lion's head, each other figures stand strong with the fairy boy that had the green Spiritual stone."
"Stone?" Link wondered.
"Fairy?" Navi thought.
"A ship with a lion's head, that's the Sunny," Luffy thought, seemingly waking up for a moment.
"Ever since I first saw you guys, I knew that you all were the one," A look of slight relief appeared on Zelda's face. "The Fairy Boy and the pirates that appeared my dream."
"Huh, you know that we're pirates?" Luffy questioned in surprise.
"Yes, but don't worry, I won't tell anyone that you and your friends are," Zelda replied kindly.
"Oh, that's fine with me," Luffy said with a grin.
The look of relief that Zelda vanished and was replaced with great concern. "I am afraid, that Ganondorf is the one the represents those black clouds in my dream." Her hands trembled a bit. "I feel like his dark heart will destroy Hyrule."
"Didn't you tell your father about your dream?" Link asked.
"Yes, but my father wouldn't believe my dream was a prophecy..." Zelda replied closing her eyes sadly.
"We believe you," Link said. "The Great Deku Tree died because of that man's dark power."
Luffy who was already awake had a look of determination. "Yeah, that stupid jerk gets a good ass-kicking too." He cracked his knuckles.
"Watch your mouth!" Navi protested at the straw hat captain again.
Zelda then had a look of determination too. "We mustn't let that man get to the Triforce."
"Where is this Triforce and the Holy Land?" Link asked.
"The entrance to the holy land is in the "Temple of Time", but it is tightly sealed behind a stone wall," Zelda explained. "To open it, gather all the Spiritual Stones and place them in the Temple, this is what has been passed down."
She then took her Ocarina. "One other thing is also necessary, the treasure of the royal family, this is the "Ocarina of Time"."
Hearing this detail, Link realized what had to be done. "Then we got to get the last two Spiritual Stones, then let's go search for them!"
Luffy was interesting in this. "Yee-yah, I bet we'll kick some ass again!"
This took Zelda by surprise. "Link...Luffy?!"
"Zelda, you hold on that Ocarina, we'll find those other two stones, and come back here!" Link declared with determination.
"Yeah, as long as we can award or something, do you think your family can give my friends something too?" Luffy wondered.
"I could award with a party with food," Zelda replied.
"Then it's a deal!" Luffy said with his usual grin. "Besides being a hero is something I don't want to be."
Zelda was puzzled at the detail, but she smiled. "Anyway, we mustn't allow Triforce to fall in the hands of Ganondorf."
A short time later
Zelda had another tale to tell. "A long, long, ago, when there was no land, no seas, and no life, three gods descended from the Golden Land to the chaos that was Hyrule."
"Din the Goddess of power, with her flaming arms, she cultivated the land and shaped the red earth,"
Luffy was interested in this, which was a first. "Ooh."
"Nayru, Goddess of Wisdom... She poured her wisdom into the earth and gave the world law."
"Sounds interesting," Link thought.
"And Farore, Goddess of Courage, with her rich heart, she gave life to those who would protect that law,"
Hearing that name, suddenly struck realization to Luffy. "Farore, that name sounds familiar." He pondered.
"When their task was complete, they returned to the heavens, they left behind the Triforce of the Golden Land, which became the Sacred Realm."
"I wonder if we could see this realm," Luffy wondered.
"To protect the wish-granting Triforce from those with evil hearts... The Sages built the temple and sealed it behind the "Door of time".
"This door is huge and powerful to protect this sacred realm place," Link thought.
"Gather the three Spiritual Stones, then stand here and play the Song of Time with the Ocarina of Time and the door will open," Zelda concluded the ancient story.
"That's quite a tale," Navi commented.
"This a secret that is passed to the royal family too," Zelda said, then she remembered her mother. "My mother told me this tale, she told me never to tell anyone about it, nor about this Ocarina."
Link was a little troubled about that last detail. "Won't you get trouble for telling us though?"
Zelda just smiled. "You and your friend believed my story, and I have no doubt the rest of your group would believe me,"
The smile on the princess's face grew brighter which was shiny beautifully. "I believe in you all, Link...Luffy..."
That made Link's skip a beat. "Naah, I'm not-" He began to stammer bashful and rubbed the back of his head.
Thump
Zzzz
Luffy was asleep.
"Huh, that idiot is sleeping!?" Navi questioned in total surprise.
"Whoa, I wasn't expecting this," Link said sharing the same reaction as his fairy.
Just then their footsteps, Link turned around to see a woman. "Wah!" He jumped in surprise.
Luffy woke up. "Who are you, grandma?"
That was a bad start, Navi began to tackle the straw hat captain again comically. "Geez, keep your words yourself for once!"
"Anyway, this is Impa, my attendant, she's part of the Sheikah tribe," Zelda introduced kindly. "Hey, Impa, these are the two guys I met before, I saw their friends in my dream too."
Then the princess bowed her head. "Also, forgive Luffy's antics."
Impa just smiled, though she was a little offended by the lack of manners from the pirate captain. "It's fine, anyway, I'm the one that protects the princess, I saw everything at the Market yesterday, including that fight with those thieves."
Link realized that she was probably watching from the shadows.
"So someone was watching us," Luffy guessed, thanks to his Haki he was able to sense her.
"Both of you and your friends are courageous, I'm sure you guys can be entrusted with the princess' wishes," Impa continued.
"Honestly, you can see through anything," Zelda praised her attendant.
"By the way, would you happen to know where the other two stones are?" Link asked.
"I don't know where the spiritual stone of water is, however, I heard that the stone of fire is on Death Mountain," Impa replied. "The one that has it is the leader of the Gordo Tribe, whose name is "Darunia".
"Sounds like an interesting guy," Luffy said seemingly interested. "I wonder if his people can take a dump."
No heard his words, Link walked over to the princess. "Great, then let's go, come on Luffy!"
"Wait, Link, Luffy..." Zelda began to say.
Link just smiled at her. "My friends and I will get those stones before Ganondorf, then we'll return here."
"Yeah, we'll get Spanondork's ass too!" Luffy stated.
"It's Ganondorf, you idiot!" Navi corrected comically.
Despite the comedy routine, Zelda smiled. "Right, and, so that Ganondorf doesn't get this Ocarina, I'll also do my best."
She walked over to the fairy boy and kissed him on the cheek, this took Link was slightly astonished. "You and your friends be careful, okay?"
Link started to get dreamy. "Aaahhh, she kissed me..." In a flash, he dashed away.
"Wait for me!" Luffy called out.
As they ran through the castle hallways, they got spotted by two castle guards.
"Who are the hell are they?"
"Ruffians, catch them both!"
Just then there was a crash that sounded like glass breaking.
"AUGH!" The royal urn!"
"Hey, don't forget about me!" Navi called out following the two.
Impa using her speed was able to catch up with the two kids, she picked up Link by his shirt while dragging Luffy by his ear.
"Ow, ow, ow, cut that out, granny!" Luffy groaned.
"That's Impa to you brat!" A Hylian captain shouted.
"Don't worry, I'll take them outside," Impa said ignoring the pirate's remark.
Impa took the two to a window, in the direction was the mountain. "There you two see, that's Death Mountain, where the Goron Tribe lives."
A small smile formed the attendant's face. "We have to protect this beautiful Hyrule." Then she eyed down at the two boys. "Link, Luffy, you and the courage that you two have with your friends are needed at this time, we're counting on you all."
Link nodded and jumped out of the window. "Right, see granny!"
"Granny?" Impa wondered taken by surprise of hearing from the fairy boy now.
"Yeah, Pimpa, see ya!" Luffy said waving while jumping out of the window too.
"Pimpa," Impa questioned, realizing her name was not pronounced right.
Just as they landed, their friends were there including Sanji's group.
"Luffy!" Chopper cried out hugging his friend. "We thought we'd never see you again!"
"Hello, captain Luffy, I learned of some new songs that you guys heard, I'd sure like to learn them," Brook said taking off his cloak revealing his skeleton look.
Franky had no pants on anymore. "Thank god, I was done wearing these pants."
Impa observed the new people. "Quite the strange group." Seeing a talking skeleton was one thing since she encountered evil ones, but the one she was seeing now, wasn't evil, but good.
Zelda was flustered at seeing a man wearing no pants except his underwear, Impa noticed that too, placed her hand over the girl's eyes. "I guess pirates have different attires."
"Anyway, let's go," Impa said turning around. "Princess Zelda, come along,"
She looked down where Link was, she prayed that she'd meet him again and Luffy's other friends too.
A short time later.
Navi explained the first step of the situation, but she got interrupted by Sanji's perverted nature, especially Brook's, but both were calmed down by Nami's fist.
"Anyway, we met Princess Zelda," Luffy said. "She's really nice, so her attendant Tinda."
"It's Impa!" Navy corrected. "Link, don't go running off like when you get kissed by the princess."
Robin giggled at new detail. "Aw, that's cute."
"Geez, not any lovey-dovey stuff," Zoro grumbled.
Sanji however wasn't too thrilled, he then grabbed the fairy boy by his shirt and shook him comically. "You lucky bastard, you got kissed by a princess!?"
"Uhh...yes..." Link answered.
The chef then let go of the boy, then began to pound his fist on the ground in a kneeling position. "Damn, that's not fair, I missed meeting Princess Zelda!"
"What's his problem," Link wondered in confusion.
"Don't mind him," Usopp shrugged. "Anyway, what is our next step?"
"We go to Death Mountain to find the Goron Tribe, that's where the Spiritual Stone of Fire is," Navi answered gazing at the massive mountain.
"I had to ask," Usopp whimpered in fright.
"Death Mountain, that sounds scary," Nami added.
"Gee, I knew we would step into danger again," Chopper cried while shivering.
"Let's go, everyone, to Death Mountain!" Link proclaimed.
"Yeah!" The others roared, except for Nami, Chopper, and Usopp.
A short time later.
The group was on their way to Death Mountain, they walked over a small bridge, then they came across a hill with stair steps that lead up.
Link was humming to himself. "I wonder what Saria would say if we told her about saving Hyrule?" Navi wondered.
Link stopped but didn't seem to hear his fairy's words. "Eh, did you say something' just now?"
Robin giggled. "That boy is love."
"Oh, young love is super!" Franky cried tears of joy.
Sanji was angry. "That little bastard."
Navi began to fume with anger as she tackled the top of her partner's head. "Geez!" She tackled him again and again.
"THE ONLY THING ON YOUR MIND RIGHT NOW IS PRINCESS ZELDA!" She raged comically. "HAVE YOU FORGOTTEN ABOUT SARIA?!"
"No, it's not that like that!" Link replied while covering his head with his hands.
The fairy boy took out the ocarina that was given by his best friend, he looked at it with a smile. "Saria..."
He remembered her last words to him when he left. "Play it sometimes, and remember the forest, okay?"
Images of Mido and the rest of the Kokiri children start to appear in his head.
"I wonder how everyone else is doing lately?" He wondered as he began to play Saria's song.
Brook was astonished at the tune. "Such a melody tune, I shall play it too!"
Eventually, Link and Brook began to play Saria's song, everyone began to dance except for Zoro and Robin, they just stood and watched smiling a bit.
"This beat is super!" Franky proclaimed. "Whoa, such a super tune!"
"Yeah, it's so cool!" Luffy added excitedly dancing around.
"I wish the friends we made were here to enjoy this song," Nami thought, but she clapped to the tune with a big smile.
"The song has a making you wanna dance all day and night!" Usopp laughed while dancing to the music.
"Keep that up that tune!" Brook sang. "Wow, this tune is making my heart skip a beat to the music!" He then started to laugh. "Wait, I don't have a heart, skeleton joke!"
The group then heard footsteps coming towards them.
"What's that?" Chopper asked his ears perking up.
There was a small horse, a young one at that. "Is that a horse?"
"What is doing out here?" Robin wondered.
The horse began to approach Link, who was still playing the ocarina. "Oh, you like this Ocarina?"
The horse neighed.
"She says "Yes she does"." Chopper translated.
Link was surprised. "Wait, you can speak horse, you're awesome Chopper."
That made the reindeer do his happy dance. "Telling me how awesome I am doesn't make happy, you little jerk face."
"Huh?" The fairy boy wondered.
"Don't mind him, he's got quite an un-usual way of expressing his feelings," Nami explained with a giggle.
"Either way, she's not safe alone, maybe she can tag with us for a while," Robin suggested.
Link eventually on the female horse's back. "Yeah!" Then in a flash, the horse sped off fast. "Waah, you're fast!"
"Hey, wait for us!" Luffy called out.
"Let's go!" Usopp gestured to the others.
"No need to tell us twice!" Navi replied.
The other followed, on their journey to Death Mountain.
Now the Straw hat pirates are reunited, now they along with their friends Link and Navi with a female young horse make their way to their destination, what enemies will await them, find out next time.
Luffy: In the next chapter: Dodongo Cave Battle.
