Chapter 6: Two Great Fairies
A day before after the Straw hats along with Link celebrated with Darunia and his tribe, the Goron leader mentions a Great Fairy that's on Death Mountain.
So Link and Luffy decide to investigate while the others find a place in the village where they stay for the night.
Luffy and Link walked through the path that lead to a wall that had stones sticking out, which was good for climbing.
"Looks like, we'll have to climb up," Link said.
"I have a better idea," Luffy wrapped his arm around Link's waist with his left arm, used his other hand to grab on a small ledge that was above.
"Not again..." Navi whimpered nervously.
"Alright, hang on!" Luffy stated as he pulled himself up in flash.
"Whee!" The two boys cheered in excitement.
They eventually landed on the top.
"So, where is the Great Fairy?" Luffy wondered.
"Hold on," Navi flew towards a wall that was cracking. "This wall is about to collapse."
Link had an idea, he took out a bomb from his item bag. "Take cover!"
The bomb lit up and then exploded next to the cracked wall which made it collapse.
"A secret cave," Luffy said seemingly impressed.
"Let's go in!" Link said running in without a second thought.
"Wait for me!" Luffy called out.
The Great Fairy's Fountain.
"So cool!" Luffy shouted in amazement with star-like eyes.
Navi sweatdropped at the boy's reaction. "Geez, he's like a kid that got a cool present for his birthday."
Link walked and stopped in front of the water fountain. "Where is the Great Fairy?"
"Aw, she's nowhere in sight," Luffy groaned getting a little disappointed.
Navi noticed a strange symbol beneath Link's feet. "Wait, what is that?"
Link looked under his feet, seeing the strange symbol. "Looks like a symbol of something."
"Perhaps, it's the symbol of the Triforce," Navi guessed.
"Perhaps we can use it to call the Great Fairy," Link added. "But how can we do that though?"
Navi began to ponder, but her thoughts were interrupted by Luffy's voice. "HEY! GREAT FAIRY YOU AROUND HERE, COME OUT WHERE EVER YOU ARE!"
The Kokiri fairy shook her head due to being at earshot of Luffy's hollering and started to tackle the boy on his forehead. "Geez, can't you keep down for a minute for once!"
"How else can the Great Fairy appear if we don't call out to her?" Luffy questioned rubbing his forehead with his hand.
Link began to ponder. "Call the Great Fairy..." Then it occurred to him, he pulled out his Fairy Ocarina.
He began to play Zelda's Lullaby, which gave off a purple glow of light.
"Hah... hah... ha..." A feminine voice giggled.
Then the center of the water ripples began to appear, then out of the middle was a tall woman that came out with a delighted giggle.
She levitated in the air while lying on her side, smiling at the two boys. "So you the fairy boy, are the message of the royal family, Are you not?"
Link was astonished, the Great Fairy was so beautiful, she had a lot of skin that revealing, but the seaweed she wore covered her body, and she wore long brown boots too.
"She's so big!" Luffy exclaimed in amazement. "Do you Fairies take a dump?"
Navi tackled at the straw hat captain comically. "Luffy, don't ask an inappropriate question to a lady!"
Link just giggled a bit. "Anyway, Yes, I'm a messager of the royal family, Luffy and his friends are tagging along and helping me out."
The Great Fairy observed the straw hat boy. "My, you're quite a strange fellow, but I can tell you got a righteous heart, you be sure to take care of this boy."
Luffy just grinned. "Sure."
"Anyway, I the Great Fairy of Power shall grant you a sword technique!" The Great Fairy stated. "Receive it now!"
She blew a kiss from her lips, then magic energy descended towards Link, surrounding him a magic-like circle.
Link felt the magic flow through his body as he raised his arms. "Yeah!"
"Thanks this power, I gave you the power to use magic, but use it wisely, also the "Spin Attack" is the name of the Sword Technique that came with it, but that'll also cost some of your magic." The Great Fairy explained, then a thought occurred to her.
"Hey, boy! I just remembered my friends live across Hyrule lands, one is by the Hyrule Castle at a dead-end in the road, maybe you and your friends should check it out,"
Luffy liked that idea. "So cool, then let's go!"
"Also, when the battle makes you or your friends weary, please come to see me!" The Great Fairy said as she disappeared into the water with a laugh.
Later that Luffy and Link made their way down to the village.
At the Kokiri Forest.
Night arrived, the sound of crickets and frogs was heard, with fireflies flying around nearby small ponds.
A Saria's secret place.
The green-haired girl was playing her favorite song while sitting on a tree stump.
Her fairy was levitating next to her. "You sure have been playing that song for as long as I can remember."
Saria stopped playing for a moment. "Yeah, I even played it when Link was growing up." Then a sad smile formed on her face. "Link... I miss him... I hope he returns soon."
A memory of Link dancing with her while she played her song flowed into her head, she was practically on the verge of tears. "Link..."
"It's alright, don't be sad," Her fairy said in a comforting tone. "Link is fine, he's got those pirates with him even Navi, I'm sure they're having fun together."
A small smile replaced her frown. "Right."
Mido was in the village staying guard for the night.
"Damn..." He cursed as images of Link kept appearing in his head. "That moron, why did he leave?"
It was obvious that the Kokiri bully missed his rival, despite whatever he felt towards Link, but some of it was jealousy, especially when he hung out with Saria.
"Hey, Mido!" A voice called.
One of his friends approached him. "It's my turn stand guard, you go on and get some sleep."
"Yeah, yeah, sure," Mido grumbled and walked away back to his house.
At the Kakariko village.
The Straw hats and Link were staying at a small house that was on the other side for the night due to the party they had Darunia and his tribe.
Link was having one of his dreams, but this time was different.
He saw a different Castle covered in a large fire.
"The castle..." He murmured. "It's... burning."
The castle continued to burn as the fire grew more fierce. "It's different from Hyrule Castle." Link continued to talk in his sleep.
He began to realize he was somewhere else. "Where am I..." He then looked up in a groggy state, seeing an unknown woman carrying him away from the flaming castle. "Who is that person?"
"LINK! LINK! LINK!" The cries of the Deku Tree was heard.
"Great Deku Tree!" Link screamed abruptly waking up.
He sat up from the sleeping bag. "Huh? A dream...?" He panted heavily.
To his surprise, he saw Robin. "Robin..." He said in surprise. "I'm sorry, did I wake you?"
The Archaeologist shook her head with a smile. "No, you didn't, I just woke up to get some water." She then crouched down. "Then I saw you talking in your sleep like you were having a bad dream."
Link placed his hand on his head. "I had such stranges dreams back then, even before you guys showed up, now this was different, I dreamt that was being carried away by a woman, behind us was a castle but nothing like the Hyrule Castle."
Robin was a little surprised at hearing such dreams. "Hmm... It may be a theory, but perhaps these dreams could be somewhat of flashback, like things that you saw as a young child or baby."
Link put his hand under his chin in thought. "That's a good point I guess..." Still, that was a little puzzling.
"Anyway, let's think about that some other time, you get some sleep," Robin stood back up.
"Right," Link replied. "Oh, and Robin..."
The Archaeologist stopped and glanced at the fairy boy. "Yes?"
"Thank you, Robin, for watching me," Link smiled brightly.
The bright smile from the fairy boy made Robin's heart skip a beat, which was unlike her, never felt this way before, not even towards Sanji. "Your welcome, good night."
The next morning
The straw hats and Link packed their items, but before that Sanji went to do some early shopping, he eventually bought food and drinks that won't spoil.
Chopper was holding the bags of food and drinks on his antlers while in his Walk-Point form.
Link rode on the Reindeer's back. "This is cool!"
"So where do we go next?" Usopp asked.
"Our next step is to find the Spiritual Stone of Water..." Link answered. "Impa mentioned that before Luffy and I left."
"That's right, so let's go!" Luffy proclaimed as he ran off.
But before he could, Nami snatched him by his shirt. "Hold on!"
"What's the deal?" The straw hat captain complained coughing a bit.
"Do you guys know where the Spiritual Stone of Water is?" The Navigator asked.
"Uhhh... No, Impa didn't know that herself," Link replied.
"Crap, we should've asked Darunia about that!" Luffy cursed.
"Watch your mouth!" Navi protested.
"Anyway, it's too late, we're already down here, so perhaps we'll run into someone on the way that can tell us where the next Spiritual Stone is," Robin suggested.
"That could take days or weeks," Luffy pouted.
"Either way, it's the only option, on top of that, we'll need some milk for some food," Sanji said.
"That's right, we didn't have much money to pay for milk, so we'll have to find another source of milk," Nami said.
"That's because you spent some of it on clothes," Zoro implied.
"I know, Lon Lon Ranch!" Link stated.
"What-what Ranch?" Franky wondered in confusion.
"Lon Lon Ranch, we heard the best milk is made there," Link explained. "Luffy and his friends along with myself and Navi got a ride from the owner of that ranch."
"So, where is this ranch?" Brook asked.
"I saw it on the top of the hill that's in the center of the plains," Link replied. "It shouldn't be too far away."
"Good idea, however..." Chopper began to say. "I'm out of some medical supplies and first aid items, so I'll go shopping with the little money we have, so you guys on ahead where the gate is and wait for me there."
Chopper reverted to his small form, giving the bags that were hanging on his antlers.
"Okay, we'll see you later," Luffy waved.
Robin then took out a book. "I also manage to get a few books." She took out an ancient book of history. "A man from the house we stayed at gave these to me."
"What kind of books did the man give you?" Luffy asked curiously.
That surprised the Straw hats, some didn't know that the rubber man was interested in books. "It's about adventures, even about sages that guarded six temples, also about treasure."
"Did someone say something about treasure!?" Nami squealed with money eyes.
Then she took out a map. "Also, I got this map, it has the whole area of Hyrule Kingdom." She handed it to Nami. "So miss Navigator, I believe this would be safe in your hands."
Nami smiles brightly. "Right, I'll study as much as I can before Chopper returns."
Chopper went to the potion shop.
They had some band-aids, though they were different kinds, Chopper bought them anyway, he still had some rupees left, so he bought a few red potions. "I never saw red potions before, but they should come in handy."
At Kakariko Village's entrance.
Nami was studying the map. "Quite the areas, there's so much to see." She then spotted a familiar area. "Oh, there's Lake Hylia, with this map, we'll be able to get there in no time."
"Yeah, I hope the Sunny is okay for the time being," Franky said.
Robin was reading a book about the history of the sages and the temples. "Quite the history, who knew another world like this would have such history."
She wished she would share this with her mother and the other Archaeologists that she spent time with.
Zoro was snoring while sitting on the ground. "Zzz...zzz..."
Luffy was standing while tapping his foot. "Ah, come on Chopper," He groaned in boredom.
Burrgh
"I'm getting hungry..."
"Luffy, we just ate, about one hour ago," Nami reminded.
"Yeah, but to me, it seems like only yesterday," Luffy said placing his hands on his stomach in hunger.
"Just try to be patient," Navi said insisting on the straw hat captain.
"Wait, here, he comes!" Usopp pointed in the opposite direction they came from.
"Finally, Chopper, come on!" Luffy waved over to the reindeer.
"Right, sorry that took so long!" The reindeer doctor replied.
Chopper then transformed into his walk-point form, carrying the bags once again on his antlers, Link rode on on his back. "This is cool, you're an amazing creature, Chopper!"
Chopper turned his head away completely flattered. "Saying "I'm amazing" doesn't make me happy, you big jerk!"
Link just smiled. "Your welcome."
Eventually, the group left the Kakariko village's entranceway and went down the stairs case.
They walked over the small bridge that connected the plains.
As they walked they passed the Castle Town's entranceway.
"Do you think Princess Zelda is okay?" Link wondered in concern.
Robin placed her hand on the boy's shoulder. "I'm sure he's fine, don't worry about her, on top of that she's got her attendant looking after her too."
The fairy boy nodded as he placed his hand on the black-haired woman's, which took her by surprise.
Sanji was infuriated by what he was seeing. "Hey, you keep your hands off of her you little fairy brat!"
Brook wasn't too happy either. "Yeah, did the Deku Tree tell you shouldn't touch a lady without permission!?"
Link pulled his hand away comically. "Sorry, I was just-"
"Alright, that's enough!" Nami ordered.
"Yes, Nami-swan!" Sanji swooned in his lover boy mode.
"What do you think we should now, we still have a little time before dark," Usopp wondered.
"Before we left the cave that had the other Great Fairy, she mentioned a friend of hers lives nearby the Hyrule Castle," Link answered. "Maybe we should check it out, we still have some time left after all."
Luffy was interested. "Yeah, I almost forgot!"
A dreamy expression formed on Sanji's face. "Oh, I bet that fairy is a beautiful creature with huge knockers!"
"Yeah, I bet her panties are-"
Bonk Bonk
"That's enough you damn perverted morons!" Nami snapped as her fist had steam coming out.
The two perverted pirates had red lumps on their heads.
Eventually, Luffy had his crew stay outside and wait for them, Link came along with him.
The two boys walked through the streets, the citizens were around buying stuff from nearby shops, while kids played around with each other.
Luffy and Link eventually made it to the gate of Hyrule Castle, however, they know that they can't just ask to go inside, so they climbed the vine on a nearby cliff.
They made to the top like before, then walked cautiously over to the wall, though Luffy ran in a dash due to his lack of patience.
The two arrived at the dead-end that Great Fairy mentioned. "Aw, a stupid rock is blocking the way."
"Not only that, you're too big to fit inside," Navi added seeing the size of the hole.
"That sucks..." Luffy groaned in disappointment.
"Watch your mouth," Navi lectured.
Link took out a bomb and placed it by the rock, the three took cover as the bomb went "boom".
"I'll go inside, you wait here," Link said as he got all fours and crawled through the hole.
He entered the cave and there was the Great Fairy's Fountain, the same as the one he and Luffy visited on Death Mountain.
Link saw the Triforce symbol that was in front of the fountain. "I'll play Zelda's Lullaby again."
He took out out his Ocarina and began to play Zelda's Lullaby.
Like before the song gave off a purple glow of energy waves, then a faint feminine laugh was heard and the Great Fairy appeared out of the fountain, lying on her side.
"Welcome Link, I'm the Great Fairy of Magic, I'll give you a magic spell, please take it!"
She flipped over while floating with her legs and arms spread apart, then in the middle of her hands a red glow of light took shape, then a magic cube that had a fire-like ball inside soon was placed before Link.
The fairy boy took it into his hands. "Alright!"
"What you have now is Din's Fire, not only to attack but also to burn things!"
Link turned around and looked up at the large woman as she continued to speak. "When battle makes you weary, please come to see me soon!"
Then she began to spin around and disappeared into the water.
"Alright, now that's done, let's get Luffy and meet up with the others!" Navi stated.
A short time later.
Link told Luffy about what happened, Luffy was excited. "So cool, can you show us Pin's Fire?"
"It's Din's Fire, you moron!" Navi corrected comically.
"Sorry Link, I have to use this wisely, if I use it then my magic meter will run out in no time, be patient," Link said.
Luffy booed for a while, not wanting to wait, but he gave in anyway. "Alright, but I want to it the magic."
Eventually, the two arrived back in Castle Town, but didn't stay for long, they continued onward to the draw bridge and exited out.
They met up with the others, telling them about what happened next.
"So you guys met the Great Fairy!" Sanji cried while grabbing the two boys by their shirts.
"Nah, I wasn't able to fit in the hole, so I doubt any of us could fit inside," Luffy replied with his usual smile.
"No fair, I didn't get the chance to meet a beautiful fairy!" Sanji whined banging his fist on the ground.
Brook was in a dull state too. "I didn't get the chance to see the Fairy's panties."
Nami bonked the two on their foreheads again. "Stop with your perverted crap!"
The two perverts were knocked out with red lumps on their heads.
Robin just giggled.
"That's too bad, I bet this Great Fairy is Super!" Franky proclaimed doing his super stance.
"Anyway, let's get going, our next step is the find the Spiritual Stone of Water," Zoro reminded.
"Where is it though?" Usopp wondered.
That was a good question, neither of them didn't know.
Link looked ahead and saw the Lon Lon Ranch area. "I almost forget, we need some milk from there too!"
Sanji nodded. "Right, they're sure to have some fresh milk too."
"Perhaps, that we can see Malon again," Robin added.
"Malon, a girl, let's go!" Sanji said twirling over to the direction of the ranch.
"I hope I can see her panties!" Brook said running in his usual way.
"Wait for us!" Luffy called as he ran after his two crew members.
"Us too!" Link ran after the three next.
"Geez, running again," Zoro groaned. "Oh well, it's better than standing around all night."
However, the swordsman was running the wrong way. "Zoro, you idiot, that's the wrong way!" Chopper shouted.
"Geez, tell me before I run then!" Zoro returned to the group.
The Great Fairy of Power and Magic gave Link different powers, one a sword technique and the other a magic spell, Link could hardly wait to use his new powers, but for now, they need to get information about the third Spiritual Stone.
