Chapter 18: Zelda Returns

Link tries to get Sheik to wake up, but, the mysterious Sheikah wouldn't respond.

What was more puzzling was that Sheik had the crest of the Triforce on his hand.

"Let's get out of here!" The link suggested while carrying the unconscious Sheik.

More Gerudo showed up.

"Strong Right!" Franky launched his right fist and slammed several Gerudo in a row.

"Gust Sword!" Nami unleashed a strong gust of wind at a Gerudo.

A Gerudo came behind Link and attempted to strike him down, only, Nabooru came out of nowhere and saved the Hero of Time.

"I'll lend you my sword, kid," She smiled in a fondly way.

"Wow, who is that?" Sanji asked with a perverted smile.

"Oh my, what a lovely young woman," Brook said in awe.

"She's the Gerudo that was trapped in that armor!" Luffy exclaimed.

Yes, I was brainwashed by those two witches, anyway, I attend to help you guys out," Nabooru said swinging her Sword. "As you can tell, I'm different from the other Gerudo, I'm a robber of justice."

"Glad to know she's on our side," Nami said a little relieved.

Nabooru looked at Link and winked at him in a flirty way. "Anyway, you go on and escape, I'll meet up with you and your friends later at the Spirt Temple, if you succeed, I'll do something great for you fairy boy."

"I think she likes him," Robin giggled.

"That bastard..." Sanji and Brook grumbled in jealousy.

"Curse you Nabooru!" Kotake screeched in anger.

"Sorry old hag, you ain't going to stop us!" Franky launched his Right fist again and punched the ice witch.

Koume growled in frustration. "Damn it, get them now!"

Nabooru looked at Link and the Strawhat Pirates. "You guys go on, I'll meet up with you guys shortly!"

Link smiled and bowed his head. "Thanks, be safe!"

Nabooru giggled. "You worried about me kid, that's sweet." More Gerudo leaped at the strong female Gerudo, Nabooru was ready. "You guys, snap outta it already!"

Link and the others escaped the fortress, Epona came running towards the group.

Nami was giving a map to the Spirit Temple, after showing it to the others, they arrived back into the desert, only, taking down every monster they encountered.

Later that day, they finally arrived at the Spirit Temple.

"It's huge!" Nami exclaimed.

"It has a woman on the temple!" Sanji cried out with a lovestruck expression.

"So beautiful," Brook added completely enchanted at the statue woman.

Link and the others went into the entrance to the temple.

Sheik was placed on the floor with a pillow.

Chopper checked him out for any severe wounds. "Hmm..."

"How is he doing?" Luffy asked.

"His body is burned, but, not that serious, though I admit, Sheik has a delicate body..." The reindeer replied. "Anyone with an average body would probably have died in pain after being burned like Sheik was."

"I think we should find some water, our supplies are gone, all we got is some meat and cola," Sanji said.

"I saw an oasis outside," Navi said. "I think we should get some water from there."

Link nodded. "Right, let's go guys,"

"I'll stay here and get some supplies started, I still need to make sure Sheik's wounds are treated before he can move again," Chopper said.

The others went to the Oasis while Chopper went to get some more of his supplies.

Sheik was started to wake up. "Ouch, ouch, ouch..." He groaned. "Impa, where am I?" Then he realized his mask was uncovered, or rather he wasn't a he.

Chopper came back. "Sheik, you're awake, that's good- He stopped and paused of who he was looking at, or rather who the Sheikah was.

Link and the others arrived back soon. "Hey, Sheik, we got some water-"

"What the?" Usopp said seeing Sheik's face.

"He's not a boy!" Nami exclaimed.

"What is going on?" Franky wondered trying to make sense of the identity of Sheik.

Sanji gazed closely at the person that was called Sheik, then his face got all pervy. "A woman in a disguise, he's not a Newkama either!"

Link was stunned by what or rather, who he was seeing. "Sheik, you're a..."

Sheik realized he was found out, so he did a ninja hand pose and then the Triforce mark appeared on his left hand and a golden light shined brightly.

The light was bright that the Strawhats and Link covered their eyes with their arms.

Once the light faded away, a lovely young woman, rather a princess took Sheik's place.

"Zelda!" Luffy, Usopp, Chopper, Zoro, Nami, and Franky exclaimed jaw-droppingly.

"Zelda!" Sanji and Brook swooned in delight.

Robin was quite surprised.

Link rubbed his head in confusion. "What is going on here?"

Zelda was expecting this kind of reaction, she felt a little bad for it too. "I see you all surprised, well, I had my reasons, you see..."

"Aha!" A voice rang out.

Kotake and Koume were flying above.

"Princess Zelda is Sheik, but, no matter, let's teach them a lesson!"

"Right, Kotake!"

The two witches gathered their magic and fired their spells down.

The two magic attacks were going directly towards Zelda, Link saw this and grabbed the princess.

"I'll kick your asses, you old hags!" Luffy proclaimed angrily. "Gum-Gum Gatling!"

The witches were punched by countless punches.

"My turn, Special Attack: Firebird Star!" Usopp fired a seed that formed into a firebird and was flying towards Kotake.

Koume blocked the attack using her fire magic. "Nice try, long nose!"

The sniper shivered in fear. "Crap, that didn't hurt her."

"Considering that Koume is a fire magic user, I suppose it's natural for her not to feel much damage," Robin stated.

"Feel the wrath of my chill!" Kotake proclaimed as she unleashed her ice magic which formed into a beam of ice.

"Link, take Zelda and run, Nami, Sanji, Franky, and Brook back them up, Zoro, Chopper, and Usopp you three are with me, and we'll keep these witches busy!" Luffy ordered.

Seeing no other choice, Link along with Zelda, Nami, Sanji, Franky, and Brook ran into a hallway.

"You think you brats can defeat us?" Twinrova cackled evilly.

"We'll protect our friends, even from old hags like you two!" Luffy shouted in anger.

"You got a big mouth you little brat!" Koume snarled. "I will burn you and your friends to the bone!"

Zoro prepared to unsheath one of his Swords. "I'd like to see you try, old hags."

However, the witches disappeared. "Where'd they go?" Usopp asked.

"They disappeared!" Zoro shouted in frustration. "Where are they?"

"See ya kiddies!" Twinrova teleported on the other side and flew where Link and the other ran off.

"Chopper, sniff out Link and the others!" Luffy ordered.

"Right!"

Link and his friends continued to run deeper into the temple.

"Even so, can we defeat these witches?" Nami questioned. "Do they have a weakness?"

"I heard there's a shield that can reflect magic," Zelda answered. "Finding it is the tricky part."

Link then tripped unexpectedly. "What happened?" He looked down at his left leg and it was frozen.

Robin saw this, feeling a bit scared, as a reminder of Aokiji.

"I'm stuck too!" Nami shouted feeling both her legs frozen.

"Damn, these witches must've caught up to us!" Sanji cursed.

"How did they escape from Luffy and the others?" Franky questioned.

"The witches have the power to teleport anyway they're familiar with!" Zelda answered. "In this case, they know the room inside this temple, so, escaping them isn't going to be an option!"

"Geez, wish you would've mentioned that sooner!" Nami shouted comically.

Franky then smirked. "On the other hand, I can do this!" He blew fire from his mouth melting the ice off of Nami and Link's legs.

"Thank you, Franky!" Link said. "Let's continue further into the temple, the shield is sure to be down there!"

"Sounds like a plan, come, guys," Nami said wiping the ice off her legs.

They eventually arrived at the room where the shield was, but, it was nowhere to be found.

"The shield is gone!" Zelda exclaimed in disbelief.

"Damn, now what?" Nami cursed.

"Now where to run!" Koume cackled.

Then several Wolfos, Dinolfos, Floormaster, and Stalfos.

"I'll take you, bastards, on," Sanji charged at the monsters.

"I shall put my neck on the line too, especially for a princess," Brook took out his blade and glared at the monsters.

Nami took out her clima-tact. "I'll help you too!" She then glanced at Robin. "Robin, back up Franky!"

Koume cackled as she powered up her fire magic. "Now burn to death!" She unleashed her magic towards Link and Zelda.

Franky used his light blue cubes as a shield to block the fire magic. "Damn, this fire magic is hot!" He gritted his teeth, enduring the pain.

"Franky, be careful, you'll be burned to a crisp!" Nami screamed.

"Dos Fleur!" Robin chanted creating two arms from the Koume's back.

"Not so fast little girl!" Kotake unleashed her ice magic and froze Robin, only her head wasn't frozen.

"Robin, no!" Link screamed.

Link took out his Fairy bow and fired an arrow, but, Kouma knocked the arrow away with her hand. "That won't hurt me, kid!"

"She deflected the arrow with her bare hand!" Nami exclaimed.

"I'll turn up the heat even more!" Koume stated as her fire magic's power increased which got hotter.

"Damn, her power is increasing!" Franky cursed feeling the intense burn.

Link jumped in front of Franky, despite getting burned a bit, he still kept his guard up using the Hylian Shield.

"Link, no!" The cyborg screamed in great concern.

"How long can you use that shield to defend yourself?" Koume questioned with a creepy smile.

Just then a shield was tossed towards Link, who saw it and managed to catch it.

"Use that shield!" There was Nabooru with Luffy and the others.

"Damn, that is the shield, it's time for us to get serious!" Koume suggested.

"Right!" Kotake agreed.

The two began to fly around in a circle and then they began to mirage together and then took the form of a beautiful woman, a tall one at that, and holding two brooms.

She winked in a flirty way. "Hello there."

Sanji was swooned by the sexy appearance, but he shook his head. "No, she's two old ladies, I can't fall for that!"

"Double Dynamite Attack!" Twinrova took rose one of her brooms and unleashed her fire magic.

Link was able to absorb the fire magic using the Mirror Shield.

Twinrova used her fire magic again and again, but the Mirror Shield has absorbed the magic again, which then unleashed the fire magic and send it back, twice as powerful.

Twinrova fell on her knees in pain.

"Now is our chance, let's combine our attacks, Usopp, Luffy, Zoro, and Franky!" Link commanded

"Franky Fireball!"

"One Sword Style: Bird Dance!"

"Gum-Gum Red Hawk!"

"Special Attack: Firebird Star!"

Twinrova was hit by the combination attacks and screamed in agony.

"My turn!" Link took out Master Sword and slashed the woman from her head to her lower body.

"I ain't done, I'll freeze you all!" Twinrova used the last of her ice magic three times, but, like before Link reflected it with twice the power, making her stunned again.

Link delivered the final bow to Twinrova and made her disappear into thin air, the two witches reappeared from their combination form, then were sucked into a portal to the underworld. "We'll come back to haunt you brats!"

"Alright!" Luffy cheered.

"We took care of those old hags!" Usopp added.

A short time later.

Luffy and his group explained while they were going down further into the temple, they ran into Nabooru, who was found the Mirror Shield a while ago.

"I see, you got a shield a while ago," Link said.

"Right, sorry that I didn't give it to you sooner, I left it in my room back at the Gerudo hideout," Nabooru apologized while rubbing her head.

Link smiled. "That's ok, all that matters is that you arrived in time."

Nabooru smiled seductively and placed her hand on the fairy boy's cheek. "I see how cute and handsome you are when you smile like that."

Link's face went beet red.

"That bastard..." Sanji and Brook growled in jealousy.

Nabooru removed her hand. "Anyway, I hope to work with you and your friends... Oh, one more thing," She moved closer to Link until her mouth was close to his left ear. "I attend to make up for my little misdeed, so, later I can do something great for you."

Navi flew over towards the female Gerudo and started to throw a temper tantrum. "Hey, give Link some space, speaking of, Link and the others could've died too!"

Nabooru just hoped away innocently. "Sorry, that was my bad."

"Link, Strawhat pirates," Everyone looked at her except for Nabooru who was still being comically chased by Navi. "I'm sure you guys are wondering why I was in disguise."

The group was curious, no doubt about that, so, Zelda sat on a nearby rock.

"It was on that day seven years ago, Ganondorf betrayed my father and seized Hyrule Castle, as you remember, I was escaping with my attendant Impa."

The group did remember that.

"I thought I should entrust the Ocarina to you guys, in doing so, I thought it was our best chance... I thought Ganondorf could never enter the Sacred Realm since Ocarina was with you all..."

"That's right, but, that proved to be wrong," Robin said.

Zelda bit her lip with guilt. "Yeah, I could never expect something to happen, Link, Strawhat Pirates to be sealed away in the Sacred Realm by the legendary Master Sword." She turned her head away in shame. "Your spirits remained there and then the Triforce fell into Ganondorf's hand, also, he's got the Triforce of Power in his left hand too."

"That doesn't sound good," Nami said feeling a bit scared.

"Right, when Ganondorf realized we were sealed away, he invaded the Sacred Realm, right?" Sanji asked.

"That's correct, he became the King of Evil, thus the Sacred Realm became a world of evil... All of this is an unfortunate coincidence."

"One question though, does Impa know about your disguise?" Luffy asked.

Zelda nodded her head. "Yes, after we escaped we were able to keep hidden."

She remembered sometime after the escape, she talked to her attendant.

"However, I knew that if one of his minions or someone from the Gerudo spotted me or Impa, we would be chased, again and again, I hoped that Link and his pirate friends would return someday, so I convinced Impa to use her power to disguise me as a boy."

"Sounds like you took quite a risk, but it was worth it," Franky said seemingly impressed.

"Yes, but, still I felt bad for what happened to you guys, you were sealed away for seven long years, I can't imagine what that must've been like, if I only studied the Sacred Realm a little longer, then maybe this could've been prevented," Zelda said looking sad and guilty. "Link, Strawhat Pirates, I'm so sorry."

"Sounds dumb to me," Luffy said picking his nose.

"Hey, don't pick your nose in front of the princess!" Navi protested.

"I think what Luffy meant to say is that you don't need to feel bad," Usopp said with a smile.

Zelda looked at the pirates with a surprised look.

"He's right, you just made mistake, we all make mistakes," Nami agreed.

Brook approached the Princess. "Yeah, it is an honor to meet such a lovely princess like you, Zelda." He raised his head back. "Also, can you show me your panties?"

Nami delivered a punch on the skeleton's head. "Idiot, don't change the subject with your perverted question!"

Sanji took Zelda's hand with a lovestruck expression on his face. "I can never be mad a such a lovely princess like you!"

Bonk

"Cut that out, you idiot!" Nami shouted in annoyance.

"Zelda, don't feel bad, none of us expected we would get sealed away, so, don't get all moppy," Franky said with a grin.

"Right, so, stop feeling sorry for yourself, if you want to make up, then lend us a hand to save Hyrule," Zoro said with a serious look.

"Geez, mosshead, can you say something nice to a lady!" Sanji shouted comically.

"Anyway, we aren't mad Zelda, you don't need to feel bad, none of us knew this would happen either," Robin said with an understanding smile.

Zelda stood up and smiled. "Thank you..." She was on the verge of tears.

Link approached her. "I admit myself that I'm a little sad about not being able to see Sheik again..." That got everyone's attention.

Then a tender smile appeared on Link's face. "But, to have been able to have this adventure with you Zelda... was a pleasure..." Zelda smiled back, happy to hear that and tears fell from her eyes.

Everyone noticed the tender moment between Zelda and Link, they were getting close to each other romantically.

"I missed you..." Link said his arms raising, seemingly wanting to hug the princess.

"I missed you too..." Zelda replied shyly.

The two embraced in a hug.

"Oh! Such a romantic moment!" Franky cried in tears of joy.

Nami giggled a bit. "Yeah..."

"My eyes are bawling out tears!" Brook cried holding a handkerchief. "Wait, I don't have eyes, yo-ohohohoh!" Though, the skeleton was feeling jealous.

Chopper smiled at the scene. "Aw..."

Luffy just smiled, despite he didn't what romance was.

"Ugh... this is nice, but, save the lovey-dovey crap for later," Zoro suggested coldly.

That's when Sanji, Chopper, and Navi began to attack the green-haired Swordsman comically.

"You take that back, you moss head bastard!"

"Yeah, you moss head bastard!"

"Geez, you're such an insensitive jerk!"

"That enough, you three stop it!" Zoro demanded with shark teeth.

Robin giggled.

Zelda and Link pulled away, feeling bashful of what they had just done.

"Also, I have something that'll sure penetrate the Evil King's defenses... The power that is given to the chosen ones..."

The Hyrule Princess put her arms up. A golden light began to circle her and then a golden arrow was created and Link took it into his hands.

"Light Arrow!"

Nami was taken at the golden shine. "Gold!"

"Sorry, Nami, but, that's a weapon for Link," Usopp whispered to the navigator.

Suddenly the ground began to shake violently.

"What is going?" Franky asked startled.

"It's an earthquake!" Usopp screamed.

"Ah, we must find a desk or something!" Chopper cried out.

Zelda realized what was going on. "That rumbling... it can't be..."

Just then a pink gem appeared and trapped the princess inside.

Link attempted to break by banging his fists against it, but, it was no use.

"Let me try!" Luffy stretched out his arm. "Gum-Gum Pistol!"

The attack didn't work. "Not even a scratch!?" The Strawhat captain questioned in frustration.

"Don't bother you pathetic little fool!" A deep voice said.

"Who's that?" Zoro asked placing his hand on one of his Swords.

"Princess Zelda...you foolish traitor! I commend you for avoiding my pursuit for seven long years."

"That's Ganondorf!" Nami shouted.

"Ganondorf, you stupid jerk, let Zelda go!" Luffy demanded.

"Yeah, you let the lovely princess Zelda go!" Sanji roared out angrily.

"Neither of you pirates is in no position to give me orders, but, Zelda is mine now if you must know, I was only having the Hero and you Strawhat Pirates to keep wandering around, why you may ask, I knew that she would show her face sooner to you fools!"

"Who cares, you must let this lovely lady go!" Brook demanded equally angry.

"My only slightly mistake that I underestimated the power of the Hero of Time, no, it's not the power of this boy, it was the power of the Triforce of Courage, I admit, the power that you, Strawhat Pirates is something I never saw before, but, sadly, neither of you can defeat me!"

"What a bet!?" Luffy questioned angrily.

Zelda began to float in the air.

"Where is she going?" Chopper wondered in great concern.

"Now that I have Zelda, who has the Triforce of Wisdom, once I obtain these two, I will become the true ruler of this world!" The gem flew higher into the air and then stopped. "If you want to rescue Zelda, come to my castle, we'll settle things there!"

Zelda disappeared into thin air as Ganondorf's manically laugh was heard.

Link was angered. "Ganondorf!"

Luffy clenched his fists. "I'll kick your ass!"

Sanji gritted his teeth. "Ganondorf, you'd better not harm a hair on Zelda's head, otherwise, there will be hell to pay!"

"Let's go and rescue Zelda!" Navi proclaimed.

"Yeah!" The others roared.

At Kakariko Village.

The Hylian Captain and his army were having a discussion about Strawhat Pirates and Link's whereabouts.

"Where are they, soldier?"

A soldier saluted to the captain. "Sir, we got word from a Gerudo that they're on their way here from the Spirit Temple."

"Alright, have our men get to the Hyrule Castle's draw bridge, we'll meet them there!" The captain replied.

"Yes sir!"

Sheik's true identity is Zelda in disguise, then the Hyrule Princess explained her situation and revealed what she was doing for the past seven years, just when things were going smoothly, Zelda is trapped by a gem and is taken away to Ganondorf's castle, but, now the Hylian Captain wants to meet the group, why, find out next time.
