Chapter 19: To the Shadow Temple

The night before.

The Strawhats and Link went to the Gerudo Hideout to camp for the night.

Everyone was having dinner, Sanji was preparing the meals, though the Gerudo female soldiers made him all lovestruck, only to get a kick in the face.

Brook kept asking to see the Gerudo's panties, only to be beaten to a pulp.

Luffy was eating all kinds of meat that were given by the Gerudo's cooks. "Yum, so good!"

Link was having beef stew with a side of water and corn.

Chopper was feasting on some chocolate cake. "Yum, so good!"

The next day.

The Strawhats and Link returned to the Hyrule Fields, determined to save the princess Zelda, Nabooru decided to tag along with the Gerudo army.

"Come on, guys, we need to keep going!" Link ran despite the running he was doing back through the Gerudo Desert.

"For once, I agree, Zelda is crying for me!" Sanji proclaimed with sheer determination and his body was covered with intense fire.

"Gee, those two are full of energy," Robin giggled.

"This isn't time for amusement, we need to be on guard!" Nami yelled.

"Right, Ganondorf's monsters might be lurking in the shadows and waiting to pounce us," Usopp added with a frightened look.

"We'd be here sooner if moss head didn't take a lot the wrong directions," Navi grumbled.

Zoro sneezed unexpectedly. "Damn, is someone talking about me?"

"Either way, we're sure to be at Hyrule Town soon!" Nabooru stated. "I will make Ganondorf and his minions pay for what they did to me."

Just then a Hylian Army was approaching them.

The group abruptly stopped.

"Halt, you, Link, Strawhat Pirates!" A Captain of the Hylian army walked through and approached out of the section of the soldiers.

"Who the hell are you guys?" Luffy asked.

"That's Hylian Captain of the Hylian army, you idiot!" Navy spatted comically.

"What's your business here?" Nabooru asked.

"We're got a problem, it's Impa!" The Hylian Captain replied.

"Impa, what happened?" Link asked.

"She went to the Shadow Temple to investigate the Shadow being that escaped there a few days ago, but, she never came back, we lost complete contact with her!"

The Strawhats Pirates and Link were horrified at the news.

"She never back, isn't the temple that has the living dead?" Usopp questioned, his legs shaking in fright.

"Yes, some of our men went to the investigate, but, they never returned, whatever is the Shadow Temple must have such power to take on 20 of our men!" The Hylian Captain replied loudly.

"I suppose this means we'll be on a rescue mission?" Navi questioned.

Link wanted to save Zelda, but, rescuing her loyal attendant is also an option now. "Alright... Strawhat Pirates!"

The pirates turned to the Hero of Time. "I know this is sudden, but, Impa is in danger, so, we need to rescue her!"

"I hate to break to you, but, I was told only three people can enter the temple," The Hylian captain interrupted. "So, Link, you can take your fairy, but, you can only choose one more to accompany you."

"If that's the case," Link began to say. "Brook, I chose you."

The Skeleton musician was surprised.

He wasn't done, so, he turned to look at Franky. "Franky, you said that you had tanks and other kinds of riding machines, right?"

The cyborg grinned proudly. "You bet, I was hoping to use them!"

Link smiled. "Then you can now, Franky, can you go Lake Hylia and get those machines back here!"

Franky laughed excitedly. "I was hoping to use them again soon, you got a deal, Chopper, Usopp, and Nami, I need your help to operate them again!"

Usopp, Nami, and Chopper cheered excitedly.

"Alright, just like what we did on Fishman Island!"

"Yee-yah, commander Chopper is going to ride again!"

"What about us?" Sanji asked.

Link smiled. "Sanji, you will prepare a feast for us, not just for our group, for the entire Gerudo and Hylian Army, we'll need all our strength!"

The chef chuckled. "Making a feast for a bunch of women is my treat."

"Hey, what about us guys?" A Hylian soldier questioned a bit offended.

"If you punks waste any food, then I'll kick your asses!" Sanji growled.

"Pervert..." Some of the soldiers muttered in annoyance.

"Luffy, and Zoro, you both will stand guard, until I along with Navi and Brook return," Link said.

Luffy grinned. "Right."

Zoro just gave a "Hmph".

"Another thing, these items might help you," The Hylian captain handed over a strange purple-like lens. "Dampe's ghost had this object hidden deep in his old shed, and told us to find them in his floor."

"Interesting..." Robin said observing the two items. "How do they work?"

"The Lens of Truth can help spot monsters that are invisible and even things that aren't there." The Hylian captain explained.

Link took the lens and placed it in his bag, then he looked at the pirates. "It's settled, Franky, you will take Usopp, Nami, and Chopper to get your machines!"

The Cyborg nodded with a grin and went off to Lake Hylia.

"Luffy, Zoro, and Robin, you three will stay with the army and stand guard,"

Luffy grinned, Zoro was a little disappointed, but he went along with it, while Robin just smiled.

"Brook, let's go to the Shadow Temple!" Link stated.

"Right!" The Skeleton saluted.

A short time later.

Link and Brook arrived at the cemetery, but the entrance to the temple was on a cliff with a fence in the way.

"Great, how can we get up there?" Link groaned.

Just then little lights began to gather together and form into Zelda.

"Zelda!" Brook yelled a bit startled.

"How did you get here?" Link asked a bit relieved.

Zelda smiled and shook her head. "What you're seeing is a projection of me, I'll use my powers to transform into Sheik, and I shall teach you both the "Nocturne of Shadow"

She transformed into Sheik once again, and played the song using the harp, Link and Brook played the song.

Link and Brook mastered the Nocturne of Shadow, then both were turned into magical energy that swiftly flew into the air as Zelda's projection disappeared, but, she spoke again, "Link, Strawhat Pirates, I'll be waiting, and good luck."

The two found themselves on the cliff top, leading down a tunnel stairway.

They walked down the steps and came to a room that had several torches that surrounded a small platform. "What are these torches for?"

Link began to ponder until he saw a door up ahead. "That door..." It was locked and he looked at the torches, then a thought occurred to him.

"Brook stay back!" He took out the Din's Fire spell and stood on the circle platform and unleashed the fire wave which lit all the torches at once.

The door to the temple began to rise.

"Alright, the door is opening!" Brook cheered.

"Right, let's go!" Link nodded, he and the skeleton went inside.

The two went through a hall, then they came to the Entry Room

"A pit, that's a long way," Brook said, he looked down the pit. "My, I can't see the bottom."

"That's why it's called a "Pit"," Navi said sheepishly, looking at a weird-looking statue in the middle.

Link took out the Lens of Truth and searched around the room, then he saw the strange torches, each one was fake except for one.

"Yeah, Brook, look at this!" He handed over the Lens and the skeleton looked through.

"Oh my, those torches are fake, but, there's only that is real," The skeleton said. "Quite interesting."

Navi heard their words. "I wonder if that has any connection to what we need to do to open that door across the pit."

Link cracked his knuckles. "Only one way to find out," He put the Lens on again and pushed where the real torch was, then the bars that blocking the gate opened.

"Alright!" Link cheered.

"Yeah, how can we get across?" Navi questioned.

Link did the anime fall and then got up. "Geez, this isn't going to be easy." He used the Lens again and in the corner, he noticed the wall that was there, wasn't there. "A fake wall...?"

The fairy boy put his hand out and he didn't feel anything.

"Aah, your arm is gone!" Brook exclaimed in shock.

"Hey, don't scream like that!" Navi protested.

"The wall here, it's not real," Link said pulling his arm back.

"What the...?" Brook wondered as he put his arm out. "You're right, so, this Len can tell what walls are fake."

"Let's do in there, we might be able to find something that could help us across," Link suggested.

The three went inside.

Taunting Rooms of Illusion.

They came to a door.

"One who gains the eye of truth will be able to see what is hidden in darkness."

"What was that?" Navi asked startled at the voice.

They opened the door and went inside.

"Shadow Temple... Here is gathered Hyrule's bloody history of greed and hatred..."

"There it is again," Brook said a bit frightened.

"It must be the evil that's in this room," Navi guessed. "The curse's power is something terrifying that the kind we fought before."

They went through and found a door on the right wall.

Dungeon Map Room

Inside were zombie-like monsters.

"Whoa, be careful, those are ReDead," Navi warned quietly. "If they scream, you'll be stunned for a few seconds."

"It's time to use the Sun's Song!" Link declared as he played the Sun's Song and that stun the ReDead.

Link powered up his Spin Attack and unleashed that slashed the ReDead, thus making them fall to the ground.

Then a large treasure chest appeared, Link opened and found a map. "It's a map, this will help us get through deeper into the temple."

"Great!" Brook said.

Link observed the map, then saw there the room they just went through has a second half, so they decided to go further, and they found a fake wall.

"What is hidden in the darkness... Tricks full of ill will..."

"You can't see the way forward..."

"Creepy..." Navi said shivering in fright.

Hover Boots Room

They arrived in a dark room, with strange-looking arms that were in the center, each was separated from the other.

"Creepy hands," Brook said.

Link got a little too close to one of the creepy hands and then it grabbed him.

"Ah!" Navi and Brook screamed comically.

Just then a zombie-like creature came from the ground.

"It's a Dead Hand, it must be guarding whatever item is in here!" Navi exclaimed.

"Attacking this monster and avoiding these hands is going to be tough!" Brook pointed out.

Link got himself loose and then glanced at the skeleton. "Brook, take out as many of those hands to make me some space!"

"Right!" Brook said sheathing his sword and slashing swiftly at the hands destroying them all.

"Now, I shall use my Thrusting Technique to deal some damage to this monstrous devil, I haven't used this since two years ago," He spoke, his right arm began to thrust.

"Dawn Song" Right-Hand Strike!"

The attack launched a compressed blast of air which made broke the Dead Hand and which stun the dead beast.

"Though, this attack has gotten more powerful than ever."

"Good job, I shall finish it off!" Link charged and leaped up, slashing the Dead Head's head.

"UHHHHH!"

The Dead Head then fell on its stomach and disappeared.

"I admit this creatures are different and scary looking than Moria's zombies," Brook thought.

A large treasure chest appeared in the middle.

Link opened it and got the Hover Boots. "These must be what we need to go deeper into the temple."

"Great, let get going!" Brook cheered.

Link wore the boots and walked over the pit while holding onto Brook, they eventually made it to the other side and walked down the hallway.

Beamos Corridor.

There was Beamos in the middle.

"A Beamos, that could be troublesome," Link thought as he took out a bomb and tossed it at the one-eyed machine, and exploded.

"That does it, anything on the map?" Brook asked.

Link looked at the map. "According to the map, we need 4, there's on the left side that leads to the Scythe Shortcut Room."

The three went to the door and found a grim reaper-like statue spinning around with sharp scythes.

"This won't be easy," Navi said nervously. "We're not careful, we'll be sliced into pieces like cheese."

"They're right, but..." He looked around and saw a cell that had a small chest. "That must have a key, only thing is, how do we open the cage?"

"Holy, look at those silver rupees!" Brook exclaimed seeing the shiny rupees scattered in different parts of the room.

Link got the idea of what needs to be done. So, he went around the parts of the room, ducking when the Scythe's got closer to him.

Gathering each rupee that was on the floor and there were two more, one on a stack of logs, so he used Hookshot to get to the top and then jumped off the stack to get the last one that was close to the edge.

Link went to the nearby cell and opened the chest, getting a small key. "Got it, let's back to Beamos Corridor."

Following the map, Link used a bomb to blow up a wall to a hidden door that was locked.

Using the key to open it and they went to the next area.

Guillotine Cavern.

The hallway was shaped like an S.

Up ahead there were three Skulltulas, but, Link killed them using the Hookshot.

They jumped off an edge that head to guillotine, two of them, in the middle was Skulltula.

"We'll just have to make our timing right," Link suggested. "We'll take turns."

Link managed to under the first guillotine, then take out the Skulltula, then Brook followed, and both were safely on the other side.

They walked around a corner. "Hey!" Navi called, the two stopped to look at the fairy. "Listen, there are creatures around parts like this, they're called Wallmaster."

"That sounds scary," Brook said a little scared.

"Yeah, once they got hold of you, they'll take you to who knows where," Navi added.

"We'll just have to make hast!" Link suggested. "On the count to three, one... two... three!"

The trio ran as fast their feet could take them and they managed to get to another of the room, where they were floating platforms.

"I suppose I need the Hover Boots more than ever," Link said equipping the new boots to his feet and taking out the map. "Alright, let's see, it reads the Spikey Falling Trap Room has a key, but getting to it will be tricky."

"Then, let's go," Navi stated.

They arrived in the room, up the ceiling were spike falling traps.

"Man, getting closer in one run is risky, we need to have super speed or something," Navi said.

Link got out the Lens, seeing what can be used as a shield to stop the spike platforms from above.

He saw a hidden cubby on the right, so, he pulled it out and pushed it through to the end where the exact point is.

"Good job!" Brook praised.

Link climbed the cubby and got onto the platforms, carefully, jumping on the top and going to one of the side alcoves, there was a treasure chest and he opened it, a small key.

"Great, we got, let's get back to the big cavern!" He said.

They went to the middle of the cavern which was a little stretch of land with a single guillotine.

"That's disappointing..." Brook groaned.

Link began to ponder something, so, he took out the Lens of Truth.

Moving back and forth were two invisible platforms. "Good, I found two invisible, follow my lead!" Link jumped onto the first, while Brook followed.

They made it to the door that was on the other side, using the key to open it.

Invisible Spike Room.

There were two ReDeads, Link used the Lens of Truth to spot any traps that he would see, and there were three rows of spikes in front, two on the left and right side.

The fairy boy played the Sun's Song and stun the ReDeads, and used the Legendary Master Sword to defeat them.

Link then gathered all the Silver Rupees, using the Lens of Truth spot invisible that was hidden in darkness, after managing to get all of them, a door on the left opened.

"Good, let's see what's inside," Brook said.

First Giant Skull Room

Four Keese were flying around above, Link used the Fairy Bow to shoot them down, which he successfully did.

"Good aim," Brook praised, he then looked at the giant flaming skull. "I wonder what these are for?"

Link climbed on the set of lodges and saw two Flower Bombs.

Taking one, he tossed it inside and the skull exploded, Brook looked down to see a key. "Hey Link, a key!" He picked it up and showed it.

"Good, that should help us get through that locked door in the room we came from," Navi said.

it did, they unlocked the door and went inside, they came to a hallway with Spike Traps and fans that blew hard.

Link then equipped his Iron Boots.

Brook used his speed to pass the fans in a split second. "I made it!"

"Talk about fast" Navi said, surprised at the skeleton's speed.

Link walked slowly due to the weight of the Iron Boots, but, he made it, then from the first corner, an inch forward, a Skulltula appeared.

"Whoa, that was close!" Navi yelled startled at the sudden skull spider's appearance.

Link took out the Hookshot and killed it.

At the next corner, was a pit, and across was a fan.

Waiting at the last second, the fan stopped for a while. Seeing this was his chance, he used the Hookshot to hit the target hanging on across and beam over to the other side.

Wind Room.

Using the Lens of Truth, there was a fake wall on the left side " A hidden door is over there!" He pointed.

"That means, there's another way to go deeper into the temple!" Brook added using the Lens of Truth next.

"Let's go!" Navi stated.

Link used Re-equipped the Hover Boots, waiting for the fan on the right to start blowing, he used that to help him speed across to the other while holding onto Brook's wrist.

They made it to the door and opened it.

Gibdo Room.

"Be careful, those are Gibdos, they're like the ReDead, but, they're like mummies," Navi warned.

"Right, then, I know what to do," Link took out the Ocarina and played Sun's Song and stunned the mummy-like monsters.

Luffy and Brook sliced at the Gibdos, then the two mummies fell in defeat.

Seeing piles of dirt, Link used the bomb and blew up the piles.

There was nothing, that is until Link used the Lens of Truth, revealing an invisible chest, and he opened it, getting a small key.

They entered the locked door.

The "Boat Room"

There was a huge ominous boat, that had a skeleton statue on the front with a red cloak.

"That's a creepy boat," Brook said. "Nothing compared to the one I was aimlessly riding on."

"Yeah..." Navi agreed to feel a bit uncomfortable.

Link saw a ladder that lead to a dock, where they board the ship.

But, only the ladder was in half, so, climbing it would be tricky. "That ladder only has half, so, we'll need to do something big to reach it."

Brook then looked around, then on the left, there was a giant stone block, Link pulled it onto the path and then pushed it towards the slot that was below the ladder.

Successfully, they managed to fit into the slot and climbed up the ladder.

The two board the ship, Link noticed on the deck was the Triforce symbol and played Zelda's Lullaby.

The bells hanging on the boat began to ring, then the boat began to move forward.

"Looks like this will lead us to where it takes us," Brook said observing the tunnel.

Suddenly two Stalfos jumped from out of nowhere.

Link and Brook fought against them, colliding their blades against the skeleton warriors.

Just then they reached their destination, then the boat crashed into the dead end.

"The ship is sinking, abandon ship!" Navi stated.

Link and Brook jumped off just in time, but the two Stalfos went down with the ship.

Across from was a large pillar with the head of some kind of bird.

Link saw the bomb flowers next to the statue, forming an idea, he used the Fairy Bow to fire an arrow and blew up the base of the statue.

"Tiiiiimmmbeeeeeerrr!" Link proclaimed.

The state fell over, making a bridge.

"Good job, let's go across!" Brook cheered.

"Hold on, there's a locked door, it's obvious a key is needed," Navi interrupted.

She was right, there was a lock on the door, Link looked at the map, and saw that there was one key that was needed.

"She's right, however, the map says there's a key in the next room in the south," Link pointed to the door.

They opened it and went inside.

Invisible Maze

"This is quite a room," Brook said.

"Yeah, but, look ahead, there's Like-Like and Floormaster, be careful," Navi warned.

"No problem, we'll just go around them," Link said with a cocky smile, just then he stopped in his tracks. "Ow..."

"What was that?" Navi asked.

Brook wondered that too until a thought occurred to him. "Link, hand me the Lens of Truth!" The fairy boy handed the Lens over and the skeleton looked around. "Oh my, there are invisible walls around the area, like a maze."

"Are you sure?" Link questioned.

"Hold on, I got an idea," Brook dropped to his knees.

"Brook?" Navi questioned.

Just then a skull ghost of Brook appeared from his skeleton mouth.

"AAAAHHHH!" Link and Navi screamed completely startled at the sudden ghostly appearance of their friend.

"Relax, this is an ability of mine, I shall look around for a moment," Brook said in a ghostly tone.

He flew around the maze, going through the wall like a real ghost. "Hmm, the room that has the key we need is this one," He looked through the door and saw a strange wooden cross with chains attached to both sides. "Creepy."

Tap tap tap

"Huh?" He wondered seemingly hearing a strange sound.

Despite he could see any enemy, he can hear strange footsteps. "Sounds like an enemy is nearby, or just invisible, better to return to Link and Navi."

He returned to his body and explained the situation.

They walked cautiously through the maze, avoiding the two monsters, and made it to the room.

Link used the Lens of Truth, spotting the Floormaster. "Take this!" Link slashed the monster-like hand, but is split into three small hands, each was crawling around like spiders. "Oh no, they split into three separate hands!"

"That's just creepy!" Navi said, her body shivering.

Link knew that he couldn't use his Spin Attack and Lens of Truth powers at the same time, so he unequipped the lens and powered up his Spin Attack.

"Brook, give me a moment!" He ordered.

"Right!" Brook unsheathed his sword and distracted the three invisible hands for a second until Link's attack was powered up.

"Take this!" Link proclaimed.

He unleashed his Spin Attack at full power and destroyed the three remaining hands.

A small treasure chest appeared, Link opened it and got a small key.

"Great, let's get back to the Boat Room!"

They did, they opened the locked door using the key and went inside.

Invisible Platform Room

"Where are the floors or platform!?" Navi wondered looking around.

Link used the Lens of Truth. "Wait, there are about several invisible odd-shaped pillars that are far apart." He then equipped his feet with Hover Boots. "Brook, follow my lead!"

They went to the left cautiously, making sure not to fall, eventually, they made it to the large door leading to the monster's chamber.

"Let's do this!" Link proclaimed.

"Yeah!" Brook and Navi cheered with determination.

On the other side was a pit, they decide to jump down there.

They fell all the down, but, surprising the platform that was down there, made them bounce.

"Did we just bounce?" Brook asked surprisingly.

Link knelt and placed his hand on the strange floor. "It feels like a drum."

Brook pressed his foot hard on the floor and bounced backward. "Woah!" He fell on his butt. "That was weird."

Navi began to inspect the entire platform for a moment. "Guys, I think we're on a giant bongo drum."

Pop Pop Pop Pop

"What was that?" Navi asked.

Two giant pairs of hands began to beat on the bongo drum.

"Are those hands?" Brook questioned at the size.

Navi looked up and screamed, "Good grief, look up there!"

Attached to the ceiling above was a phantom-like beast.

Phantom Shadow Beast

BONGO BONGO

"This is the monster that must've cursed the temple!" Link exclaimed.

Brook growled. "Hey, you, what'd you do with Impa!"

The Phantom beast just made a ghostly groan as its body disappeared, the only visible things were Bongo's giant pair of hands.

"What do we do?" Brook asked.

"Lens of Truth!" A voice spoke.

"Who said that?" Link asked.

"Trust me, use the Lens of Truth to strike the eye, once you stun the pair of hands using the Fairy Bow, it'll try to ram at you and Brook, but, when it does, fire an arrow at the red-eye."

Link decided to trust the voice, using the Fairy Bow to fire arrows at the hands, which stun'em.

It worked, Bongo Bongo, then charged towards the fairy boy, but, at the moment it did, Link fired an arrow again.

Bongo Bongo collapsed on the drum, seemingly stunned.

Link unleashed a barrage of slash attacks at the monster's red-eye.

The Phantom managed to get back up and beat the drum while trying to smash the two warriors like insects.

Link was able to bounce away while Brook used his speed to avoid the attacks.

Using this chance, Link fired two arrows at the pair of hands, stunning his giant hands.

Bongo Bongo charged towards the fairy boy, but, he took out his Fairy Bow once again and fired an arrow at the phantom's red eye, making it collapse again.

"Link, let me finish off this monster, for Impa..." Brook requested as he slowly walked towards.

"Fine with me," Link approved the skeleton's request.

Brook began to hum while walking slowly to the phantom beast and he began to sheathe his sword back into its sheath.

"Song of Scratches-Blizzard Slice!" Chilling winds blew slowly as streak marks of ice appeared on the Bongo Bongo's red eye, making in a deep growl of agony.

The phantom began to shake violently in pain while beating on the giant bongo drum.

Pop Pop Pop Pop Pop

The beating from the phantom's hands began to slow down until it became a purple mass and sank into the drum and disappeared.

"I usually would give a fair warning, but, not to monsters like you," Brook whispered to the purple mass that was once the Bongo Bongo.

A circle appeared in the center of the drum.

"Let's go!" Navi stated.

Link and Brook took turns going into the blue circle, then both were teleported to the Chamber of the Sages.

In the Shadow Medallion, Impa appeared from it.

"Link, Brook of the Strawhat Pirates, I'm in your debt of what you both have done," She bowed in gratitude.

Link smiled, though he had a question. "It was no problem, but... Did you know that Princess Zelda was Sheik all this time?"

The Sheikah nodded her head. "Yes, I admit, I was concerned about her request, but, I have to say, she has become a true princess, a wise one."

Brook bowed to the attendant. "Yes, you indeed are a woman of loyalty and understanding, I admit myself, I was shocked that Sheik was Zelda in disguise, but, it was great to know that she's was helping us all this time."

Impa smiled at the skeleton. "You can rise, Brook the Musician."

The skeleton raised his head. "By the way, miss Impa, would you be kind of enough to show me your panties?"

Navi tackled the skeleton on his forehead, making the skeleton flinch. "Pervert, that's no way to ask a female Sheikah of the royal family!"

"Then show me yours, Navi the fairy," Brook suggested despite the pain that was inflicted on him.

"No way, you skeleton pervert!" Navi snapped comically, tackling the skeleton again.

Impa just chuckled a bit. "Anyway, I know of what happened to Zelda, she was kidnapped by Ganondorf."

Link's face became serious. "Yes, the moment after she revealed herself, Ganondorf snatched her away."

"Right, I shall give you this Shadow Medallion, take it respectively!" Impa stated as she put her hands out.

The Shadow Medallion fell from above right into Link's hands.

A bright light shined around the chamber, Impa's final words were heard. "Please, save the princess!"

The two found themselves back at the entrance to the Shadow Temple.

They returned to their friends even their new allies, Nabooru, the Gerudo, and Hylian Army, and explained what happened.

Franky returned with Nami, Usopp, and Chopper with the machines.

The soldiers of Hyrule were quite fascinated with the machines, except for the females.

Nabooru was eating a chickwing. "Hmm... So, Impa is the sage of the Shadow."

"Wah! I didn't get the chance to see her again!" Sanji bawled out in crocodile tears.

"Geez, we saw her about a few days ago," Zoro groaned at the cook's crying.

"Either way, now, that mission is done, we can continue on our march to Ganondorf's castle," Link said clenching his left hand.

"Right, but, we'll need to get our rest," The Hylian captain got up. "Everyone, I need your attention!"

Everyone stopped eating and looked at the captain. "Our time has come, the Dark King Ganondorf shall meet his match, but, first off, there's no doubt that his armies are going to prevent us from arriving at his castle."

Link agreed to that so he went over the Hylian Captain and saluted. "Excuse me, I have another suggestion."

The captain approved and allowed him to speak, "I'm Link, the Hero of Time, I agree that the Hylian Captain on the part of Ganondorf's army is going to attack and try anything to prevent us from approaching their king's castle."

"Right, so, some of us should stay behind and keep the enemy's front line grunts busy," Nami added. "Also, we need to decide who'll go with Link, though, I think only three should join him."

"Me, me, me!" Luffy hollered like an excited child.

"For a pirate captain, he acts like a child," A Hylian soldier whispered to another.

"That's for sure."

"I'll go," Zoro spoke. "It's been a while since I was able to get some action."

The two pirates approached Link. "Hey, we're gonna help you kick Ganondorf's ass!"

The fairy boy smiled. "Thanks, guys, but, there is still one more, any volunteers."

Nabooru approached the fairy boy. "Kid, I mean, Link, I accompany you three," She then smiled seductively at Link. "Besides, I owe you for saving me, and maybe more..."

The fairy boy's face went beet red. "Uhh... ok..."

Sanji growled. "That fairy boy bastard, getting lucky with that Gerudo!"

"She's not too shy," Usopp whispered with a sweatdrop.

Nami clapped her hands. "Anyway, we'll need a strong fighter to help out with the army."

Sanji raised his hand. "I volunteer..." His face became lovestruck with pink hearts in his eyes. "Female Gerudo, Nami dear, and Robin, I shall protect you all even if it means sacrificing my life!"

"If you're willing to sacrifice yourself, then why don't you act as a decoy?" Franky questioned.

Sanji gave the cyborg a sarcastic look. "It's lady's only offer, idiot!"

"They're lively," Nabooru giggled.

"Anyway, that settles, Sanji will stay with us," Usopp stated. "We'll provide back-up with Franky's machines, this will be a piece of cake."

"Alright, let's all get some sleep!" The Hylian Captain announced. "At the first sight of light, is our cue to prepare for the war!"

They agreed and went to sleep for the night.

At the first light of dawn

Everyone had an early breakfast, and all went to the draw bridge that connected to Castle Town.

All had sheer determination in their eyes

"Zelda, just wait, we'll save you." Link said.

"I'm gonna kick Ganondorf's ass!" Luffy shouted.

"Right, I hope to cut that bastard down," Zoro said holding one of his Swords with a bloodthirsty expression.

"You boys won't be alone," Nabooru said.

"We'll provide back-up for the army..." Sanji began to say. "I'll protect every one of these beautiful ladies!"
