Chapter 2: The Lifestream's Lullaby, Mercury's Song!:

Demiyah arrived at school a few days later after battling an evil radio show, a gym that leaves it's patrons lifeless shells, and a youma who controlled Heartless! She was glad that Venus was there. She wasn't so happy with Luna though. The feline was still acting like Caroline! She honestly hoped Sailor Pluto got the evidence soon. As Demiyah was close to asking Dana for a migraine medication due to that Realm of Darkness be damned cat! Since Mina refused to label Luna an advisor or even a familiar she wasn't allowed to enter the campus. Demiyah however was quick to label Artemis her familiar so he was allowed on campus. Familiars were special as it meant the child who bonded to said animal or spirit had magic. Demiyah saw the booths and now knew why even the Education Track students were in street clothes. It was the yearly Wellness Fair. No wonder her mother gave her and Denki more money than usual this morning. Luna was snooty and stalked up to her and asked Mina, "Who is this? This is a Ranger city so I can speak all I like." Mina said, "This is Demiyah. Education Track bound children are partnered up with mentors in their desired Track. Since I'm in the Hero Track and that's Demiyah's desired Track I'm her mentor. Meaning it's my job to teach her all about the Hero Track and help her navigate her abilities to better prepare for the course load. The Education Track expo isn't until next semester, but I still have a lot to do in terms of mentorship." Luna stiffly nodded and padded away. Demiyah giggled and said once she was out of sight. "Well done. Using something that had to with school to derail her. I actually hadn't picked my mentor yet, but if your offering..." Mina said, "Be glad to be your mentor."

The two Sailor Scouts walked around the Wellness Fair together. Eating healthy snacks and watching demonstrations of different things like medical scans and healing spells. Demiyah having healing powers was most interested in the healing magic. The pair wandered around until they ran into a girl with blue hair and equally blue eyes. At first Demiyah thought it was Aqua, but closer inspection revealed that it wasn't. The girl said, "I'm sorry is something wrong?" Demiyah replied, "At first glance you looked like a friend of mine who also had blue eyes and blue hair. She's been missing for two years next month. I'm Demiyah Oliver by the way, this is Mina Allen, and my familiar Artemis." The girl replied, "I'm Amy Anderson. The wolf pup here is Koori my familiar. Nice to meet you. As for your friend, only the Lifestream could tell you if the two of you will see each other again." Mina asked confused, "The Lifestream?" Amy said embarrassed, "When I was a little girl, my mother would sing me a song about the Csomic river known as the Lifestream. It was said to hold the knowledge of the Past, Present, and Future. That it held the Truth of What we are. What we're a part of."

Demiyah said in awe, "A magical River said to have the answers to anything and everything. Sounds incredible to me. But we don't even know where to begin looking for it." Amy chuckled, "It's only a legend. But they say everything even Legends have a base in facts somewhere."

Amy joined their group for the remainder of the fair and the trio had a lot of fun even playing games and winning a few prizes. Amy cracked her neck and said, "I have to get to the Education Support School. Why I will never understand. My grades are the best but my mom hired an 'Educational Aid' and she is insisting this school." Demiyah said, "This lady does realize you'll burn out eventually from the stress right?" Amy looked at Demiyah and said, "I really don't think she cares."

As Demiyah was walking to where Denki, Tyson, and Takuya were waiting for her at the park she heard a scream. She radioed into her parents via the Ranger Communicator and said, ~We have a situation. Need Backup ASAP!~ Quickly ducking into the alley once she was sure there were no cameras, recording devices, or unsavory people she took out her Disguise Pen. "Disguise Power! Transform me into A Lightspeed Rescue Officer!" A quick change made her look older around her parents age with brown hair and eyes very common features. She ran into the Education Support School and told the receptionist, "Someone phoned in after the scream. More Ranger personel are on their way." Sailor Venus using her Crescent Compact to look like and SPD Officer came in, Artemis padding right next to her. Followed by the Black, Purple, Silver, Green, and Oranger Dino Rangers as well as Zeo Ranger 3. Amy was almost totally drained of her energy but Demiyah was using her healing powers to restore her energy. A blue symbol glowed on her brow so Artemis performed a backflip revealing a pen, a microcomputer, and a watch. He handed the pen to Amy and said, "I promise I will explain later, but right now AMy I need you to trust me. Hold the pen in the air and say 'Mercury Power' okay." Amy was hesitant before Demiyah looked at Min and said, "Let's show the newbie how it's done. Moon Prism Power!" "Venus Power!" In two flashes of light stood Sailor Moon and Sailor Venus. Amy in amazement took the pen and said, "Mercury Power!" In a flash of blue light and a freezing rush of snow and ice Sailor Mercury was revealed. Artemis said, "This is the Mercury Data Computer. There are more in a vault hidden away, but only you are allowed to give them out." Amy or Mercury quickly scanned the monster as the Rangers were keeping it busy. Venus tripped it up with her Crescent Beam. Mercury put away her computer and Set up her own magical attack, "Mercury Bubbles Blast!" An icy fog filled the room allowing Mercury to create illusions. "Moon Tiara Magic!" One swift move of Moon's tiara and the fight was over. The Rangers called rescue services and the school was revealed as an abandoned building and the human staff under compulsion and thrall spells.

That night Mercury, Moon, and Venus met up at the roof of the School. Amy introduced herself to her teammates properly while Demiyah told them of her adventures the two previous years and how she got her powers. Amy and Mina agreed to keep their silence. Both amazed at what their young leader, and they agreed that Demiyah was leader, had experienced before joining them.

That night Luna was ranting at Xehanort, "That upstart Sailor Moon is ruining everything. Venus is becoming more independant, Mercury is active but openly refused to let me dictate things, and Moon herself is refusing to listen on principle!" Xehanort replied, "Patitence my dear wife. Before too long we will find whoever Princess Serenity is and kill her taking the Crystal. Then we can rule with our daughter as the new Princess." Luna smiled, "Yes love your right. Of course. Our daughter is ready to perform her upcoming mission in just four short years. I've been tracking the Digidestined Registry for sometime now and I almost have the way into the back door. Soon I will add our daughter to the team we know Demiyah Oliver is to lead. Once she's downtrodden and beaten down to the point she wouldn't react to rape, you will let Luxu take her and murder her in front of her friends, grandfather, and Toon family."

Sailor Pluto finished recording the conversation. "Luna you are screwed offcially. Check and mate you mangy Mauan."

Amy got dressed in her Hero Track uniform and went off to school the next morning passing her Keyboard, DJ Station, and Soundboard set up. Maybe she could start playing again. That would be fun and it would be good on her applications to medical school to have extracurriculars. She met up with Mina who she had most of her classes with. Even joining Demiyah, Tyson, Denki, and Takuya in the cafeteria for lunch. Most of the Grade School students were both jealous they got to sit with Hero Track students and in awe they were able to sit with the older students. Sailor Pluto in her civilian persona of Trista Matthews walked up to Demiyah's table and handed her a file which she quickly looked through and passed to AMy and Mina who also looked at it before letting the boys read it. All at the table were smirking. Demiyah said in Lunarian, "Wait for the first of the Rainbow Crystals to show up. Then we can bust her. This way we can gather even more evidence against her."

On the Moon Queen Serenity as a spirit watched and waited for the day she could be with her children again. She wished she could be reborn and live with her children.

On Asgard Loki felt the stirrings of magic he remembered so clearly dying in his arms as he begged for her to live. He stalked to the throne room and said, "I have felt my daughter Serena's magic flaring on Midgard. Where exactly I am unsure of. But the signature was clear as day along with Sailor Venus and Sailor Mercury's magic." Frigga asked, "In truth?" Loki said, "Aye mother. I will be going to Midgard in my mortal disguise of Lucas Fredricks. I shall endeavor to discover where the signal is coming from." Odin Allfather said, "Do so. Thor inform your mortal battle companions. As I am sure they will come accross the battles sure to follow eventually." Thor said, "At once father."

Loki landed on Earth in Reefside. He entered his home there and set his groceries on the kitchen table. He started dinner and called his law firm. Stating the long term case he had been working on had finally wrapped up and he would be back at the office the following day.

At Avengers Tower Thor told his teammates about the Sailor Scouts. Clint having been Speedy once upon a time knew who exactly he was talking about. Sending Oliver a coded message on the communicator hidden in his bow. Oliver replying that the Justice League would be in Reefside within a week. As it was believed Sailor Mars the Princess of Martian Manhunter and Miss Martian's home planet would be activated as a Sailor Scout soon.
