As the room filled with the delicious smell. Everyone quietly looked around confused as to what exactly was Pepper's plan.

Thor was currently sleeping and began muttering about pop tarts and how sweet they smell. However, he began to smell a pop tart burning just like the first time he had heated one up and jumped up.

Everyone jumped back startled because they were not expecting Thor to just wake up and shoot up. Except Pepper herself (really the woman had no sense of self preservation at times).

Thor looked in horror as Pepper herself was burning his beloved pop tarts. He tried to glare at her and intimidate her so she would stop.

Instead she stood strong against him and glared at him as she grabbed another pop tart and brought it up to the flames.

Thor jumped and every single Avenger almost ran out of the room because despite it all Thor was the god of Thunder.

Pepper continued to glare. "Where is your brother?" She said in a chilling voice. It sent shivers down everyone's spines even Thor stopped in shock and horror.

He responded carefully. "Lady of Potts I do not know where my brother is located but why are you burning the most beautiful creation ever created on this Earth?"

Pepper glared at him and continued to dangle the pop tart extremely close to the fire. While Thor literally almost had a heart attack. "He took my baby. I may know he would not inflict harm but that does not mean there is not anything I will not do to get him back."

Thor blinks a little in surprise but at the end he is not as surprised as he should be since he knows his brother is rather fond of the man "child" of spiders. However, did he really have to piss off the lady of peppers? She is one frightening woman.

Pepper raised an eyebrow. Ready to start burning another pop tart.

That caused Thor to snap out of it. He began to stamer out a response, "Lady of Potts, Lady of Peppers, please, um, leave the innocent pop tart alone, please I will give you anything. I will do anything. I beg of you."

The Avengers mouth fell open when they saw the god of thunder practically on his knees begging Pepper.

Pepper glared and stopped from burning the pop tart to Thor's relief, "so how are you going to help me get Peter back?"

Thor sighed in relief as Pepper did not burn the pop tart. While he should feel bad about the fact he was about to sell out his own brother, if it was in order to save the precious pop tarts that had done nothing wrong to deserve that mistreatment, then he would do it again and again every single time.

Pepper, extremely impatient, began to move the fire closer to the pop tart again causing Thor to snap out of his thoughts.

He spoke quickly, "I can take you to him since I know where he would be in a safe place he has. Just give me one hour to be ready and I will take you there. I have to verify he has not switched…"

Pepper glares and gives him the pop tart and nods. "1 hour no more than that. Or the rest of the pop tarts are getting burned and yes I know about your "secret hiding place". So do not test me."

Thor nodded quickly grabbing the pop tart and gently looking over it and looking back at Pepper in fear.

Pepper glared and turned around and began to stomp out of the room still enraged.

Thor, while terrified, had to admit he was impressed and looked at Tony. "Damn Pepper is an incredible woman Stark. I am kind of jealous."

Tony turned and glared in pure jealousy at Thor. As he obviously did not like the comment he had said. He was not insecure but come on Thor was a god so it was understandable he was not happy with the response that he had given.

Pepper rolled her eyes, "Relax I am so not interested in him in the slightest way. So do not even worry about that Anthony." She turns and walks away.

Tony visibly sighed in relief at that comment while everyone smirked at Tony's antics and he ended up blushing.

They all turned and followed Pepper out of the room. Still a little terrified with what Pepper had done.

As Pepper walked into her room to take a shower and get ready. She had an idea how to get Loki to comply and smiled evilly.

Tony walked in after her and saw her smile and shuddered in fear. He knew that look and was thankful she had never directed it at him. It was a terrifying look and she only used it when she was going to go and do something spectacular. He wanted to feel sorry for Loki but he took his baby so that concern went out the window immediately. He could not wait to hold his baby in his arms again.

Pepper got ready and was set to take her child back while Tony was awkwardly and fearfully watching her do as she pleased. There was a reason many businessmen were terrified of her. Even in a male dominant work area. She ruled no one could scare her and she always managed to take control.

They both walked into the living room where Thor was waiting for them, still terrified of Pepper. He quickly began to take them to Loki's protective layer since he knew that his pop tarts did not deserve to suffer.

With Loki

He smiled as he put the child in a protective crib. The little spider was too precious for words. He deserved to be happy and protected at all times. He did not want him to grow up as neither did Tony.

He knew he would probably get caught but he was not worried. He was the god of mischief. Well except for Pepper she was a terrifying woman to be honest.

He probably did not think his whole plan through though and it might bite him in the ass but he could take anyone. Well, he was worried what Pepper might do to him and he shuddered but continued looking after Peter, changing his diaper with magic.

Peter would just look up at him in full belly giggles with how the magic tickled him. He looked up adorably at Loki while smiling softly at him.

Loki sat down and began playing with his magic keeping Peter entertained until he fell asleep.

Suddenly Loki heard a noise and looked up. He got confused when he saw Thor walk in clutching his poptarts.

Loki asked, "Why are you here brother cannot you not see I am pretty comfortable at the moment?"

Thor shrugged and responded, "Why didn't you not tell me you were leaving with the spider child so I could have escaped with my precious poptarts?"

Loki rolled his eyes and sighed yeah that was a flaw of his own plan, but surely his own brother would not sell him out for poptarts right?

Thor still looked nervous clutching his poptarts and Loki narrowed his eyes. There was no way his brother had sold him out until...

Pepper walked into the room looking so furious that even the God of mischief himself flinched as soon as he personally saw her and gulped.

Loki tried to stay calm and respond, "Ah Pepper what are you doing? What an unexpected visit from you. Is there anything I can help you with?" Quietly trying to shield Peter with his own magic so he wouldn't get caught.

It was all in vain because Pepper right away caught on and the glare she cast on Loki made him wonder if he was going to die extremely quickly. He was terrified of her as much as he hated to admit.

Tony right away ignored everyone and ran to where Peter was and tried to pick him up but couldn't because of the magic that was protecting him. He turned to Pepper for help since he was a little terrified of Loki, not that he would ever admit to it.

It was pretty obvious to everyone how terrified everyone was scared of Loki except for a select few.

Pepper's glare intensified against Loki which made him wince but he tried to act as if she was not glaring at him.

Then Loki had jumped in shock because from the corner of his eye he saw Pepper take out a pair of scissors. He tried to act all tough when she began to get near him as if she was not afraid of him.

Tony in the background looked as if he was about to have another heart attack and wondered about Pepper's self preservation. It seemed like at the moment she did not have any yet she always complained about his own and Peter's. He was going to have to talk to her seriously about that.

Loki watched Pepper get closer then reach out for his hair and it dawned on him that he jumped back in shock but that did not deter her. She was a woman on a mission.

He looked at her as if she was insane, responding, "Are you crazy woman, what are you trying to do?" As he practically tried to run out of her way.

Tony winced as Loki called her crazy, he made that mistake years ago and he got a thorough tongue lashing. "Yeah that was a mistake to call her that…." He stopped as he saw Pepper's glare. "I will shut up now. Pepper please get him to take this magic off Peter…" Tony responded just wanting to hold the child.

At this moment he was nothing more than a spectator that wasn't involved in what his fiance was planning, just a man.

Pepper turned to Loki and said in a calm, deadly voice. "Take the magic off Peter right now."

Loki tried to get bravery while Thor in the background shook his head for him to give up. He really did not want to know what the Lady of Potts did.

Loki could not really get his bravery together so he signed internally and removed the magic from Peter.

As soon as the magic was removed. Tony practically face planted running to Peter and everyone shook their own head at him.

Tony grabbed Peter in his arms as he felt the familiar weight he grew to love he almost cried.

Loki smirked momentarily forgetting about Pepper and the scissors. "What's wrong with a little emotion Stark?"

Tony blushed not liking being put on the spot and turned to Pepper quickly, "Pepper can you please deal with Loki?" As he smirked at Loki when he was the betrayed look the God of Mischief had on.

Pepper turned still angry after her heart was melting with Tony's reaction. "What was the point of taking Peter? Loki Laufeyson Odinson."

Both Thor and Tony at the same moment responded, "Uh oh full name," but shut their own mouth as soon as Pepper glared at them.

Loki sighed and responded, "I wanted him to grow up protected, also to make sure Bruce did not turn back to his age. He's too cute as an infant."

Tony nodded in understanding as he also really did not want Peter to get back to teenager size. However, he knew he had to be the bigger person and have Peter live his life the way he was supposed to.

Pepper sighed calming down just a smidge, "Look, Loki I understand how you feel because I do as well however, it is not up to us. Peter deserves to live his life as he has. He will still learn the errors of the world even as much as we would love to protect him."

Loki sighed sadly, "I still want to protect him at all costs."

Pepper shook her head, "It does not work that way, Loki and if you try and take Peter again. You are going to regret it."

Loki shudders; he really does not want to know what she is capable of. Especially considering she tried to cut his precious hair. That was really mean in his mind although he does understand.

Pepper walked over to where Tony was holding Peter and she calmed down as well. They both watched as surprisingly Peter stayed asleep through the whole ordeal.

"It really is a kid thing to sleep through a whole bunch of thrashing and yelling, but suddenly wake up and cry when you simply sneeze ten feet away from them ain't it?" Tony stated as he looked straight ahead of himself in disbelief.

As soon as that was muttered an odor that was not pleasant at all began.

Pepper got a bright idea that she knew the God of Mischief would not like. Especially when Peter woke up with a cry.

Loki looked confused and worried with Pepper's smirk and reaction. He had a feeling he would not like this.

Pepper began to speak. "Loki since you really want Peter to stay a baby. You will change his diaper."

Loki began to protest not to do that but remembered his magic.

Unfortunately for him Pepper remembered that part and continued, "No you cannot use your magic." As she raises the scissors again.

Loki tries to act all tough and responds, "Fine, no problem." He gets to the child and lays him down however the odor is too strong for him. He almost throws up which he does not remember ever happening and decides he cannot do it. "Fine you win, I cannot do it."

Peter looks up innocently at him and smiles.

Loki sighs, "You are too cute but I am not changing your diaper sorry kiddo."

Pepper smirks knowing she won. "Move out of the way. Or on second thought Tony go change the diaper."

Tony sputters, "But why? Why me?"

Pepper glares at him. "Need I remind you of the protocol?"

Tony eyes widens and shakes head and quickly does it without being too dramatic like Loki was. He picks up the child ready to go home.

I am so sorry about the long wait the writers block was extremely strong and while I had a clue what I wanted to say but I had so much trouble putting into words. I am also working on the next chapter already lucky I got inspiration back. Although I am doing my last year of college and I do a lot of homework and assignments so that takes up time. But I will try to have the next chapter up soon.
