True to his word Derek was knocking on her door at noon, when she opened the door she saw the sexy smile of the love of her life in front of her. She stepped aside and said, "come in handsome, come in, I'm almost ready", he grinned as he stepped inside, closing the door behind him.
For some reason being in her apartment felt different today, as he looked around at all of the pictures he couldn't help but smile, he smiled because he could feel the love from each picture. When Penelope walked back into the room she said, "sorry to keep you waiting angel fish", Derek turned and said, "wowwwww baby girl, you look gorgeous".
She smiled and said, "thank you and might I say that you look handsome yourself", he said, "thank you" as he walked over to her and pulled her gently into his arms and claimed her lips with his. When they pulled apart he said, "do you have any idea how long I have wanted to do that"?, she winked at him and said, "probably as long as I have wanted you to do it".
Derek sighed happily and said, "I still can't believe it, I can't believe that you're mine, that you Penelope baby girl Garcia are finally mine", Penelope ran her finger up and down his chest and said, "and you are allllllll mine my sexy piece of hot chocolate" and he laughed at the new nickname as her lips found his in a passionate kiss.
When they pulled apart she said, "soooooo what's on the agenda for today"?, he said, "I was thinking a picnic in the park, how does that sound"?, she grinned up at him and said, "sounds great my love, sounds great" as she looped her arm through his and they walked across her apartment and out the front door.
It didn't take them long to arrive at the park and he got out of the truck and walked around to her side and opened her door, he then held out his hand and said, "here sweetness, let me help you". She happily slid her hand in his as she climbed out of the truck, he then reached into the back seat and grabbed the picnic basket and blanket before intertwining his free hand with hers as they made their way across the park.
Derek looked around and said, "what about here gorgeous"?, she said, "ohhhh I love it here, it's so beautiful" as she stood watching as Derek spread the blanket on the ground. He then helped her down before grabbing the basket and joining her on the beautiful blue blanket that was to be their table.
She watched as he opened the lid and sat out a plate of sandwiches, he then put out some chips, veggies, dip and fruit, she said, "handsome you are gonna spoil me". He kissed her lips gently and said, "that's the plan beautiful, that's the plan", she then watched as he pulled out a container of lemonade, she said, "ohhh and you remembered how much I love lemonade", he winked at her and said, "of course I did, I remember everything about you goddess".
Penelope smiled and said, "it's a beautiful day isn't it"?, Derek nodded his head and said, "everyday spent with you is a beautiful day baby girl", she grinned at him and said, "sweet talk will get you everywhere", he laughed and said, "good to know, good to know" as he leaned over and gently brushed his lips against hers in a sweet kiss.
They spent the next hour or so laughing, talking and eating as they enjoyed their picnic, Derek couldn't keep his eyes off of her, she was so gorgeous and that sundress was hugging every curve perfectly. He licked his lips as he took another sip of lemonade and said, "you look amazing today baby girl and I am absolutely loving that dress on you".
She said, "thanks angel fish, I'm glad that you like it", he said, "like it, baby girl I loveeeeee it and do you know why"?, she said, "uhhh no", he leaned in and said, "because it's hugging every curve sooooo perfectly and I am finding it hard to keep my hands off of you" as he leaned in and pressed his lips against hers.
Her heart was racing, she wanted him and she wanted him now, she looked into his loving eyes and said, "Derek I" and he said, "yes sweetness", she bit down on her bottom lip and said, "I want you Derek, I want you so much", he grinned and said, "how about we clean this up and then head back to my place"?, she nodded her head yes as they started working together to get the items put back into the picnic basket so that they could head back to Dereks place for dessert.
