Hypnotized By You-Ch 13
A few minutes later the family was walking into the back yard at the Rossi estate, Penelope smiled and said, "wowwwwww this place looks amazing" as she looked around at the decorations. Derek said, "momma, thank you, thank you all so much for everything you've done for us", Fran grinned and said, "you are very welcome baby boy, very welcome".
Dave said, "the reception was all Fran and your sisters, they wanted you and kitten to have the best reception possible" and Derek said, "and they have succeeded, it looks amazing" as he pulled first his mom and then his sisters into his arms for a big hug.
When he pulled away he said, "we know that the wedding was rushed but we couldn't wait to be together", he winked at his bride and said, "we have wasted so much time and we didn't want to waste any more", Hotch said, "the two of you have been destined to be together since the first day you met, I saw it. everybody saw it".
JJ said, "but you two were both so stubborn and you fought it and fought it and fought it and we are all soooooo glad that you finally pulled your heads out of your butt, be it from hypnosis or not, the fact is that you are together now and happy and that's all that matters", everybody clapped their hands and said, "here here" in unison as Derek pulled his bride into his arms and kissed her lips passionately.
The air was filled with the sounds of soft playing music and the smell of the roses in Frans garden, their was also streamers hanging all over the place and a huge banner that said, "CONGRATULATONS DEREK AND PENELOPE, WE LOVE YOU" in the center of the yard.
Derek sighed happily and said, "will you do me the honor of a dance malady"?, she slid her hand in his an said, "it would be my pleasure my love, my pleasure indeed". As the music to Destiny by Jim Brickman filled the air Penelope smiled and said, "ohhhh I love this song", he kissed the end of her nose and said, "I thought that this would be the perfect song for us to dance to for our first dance as husband and wife.
As they stood dancing he lowered his head to beside her ear and started singing to her, she closed her eyes and held on tight as she could feel his love for her in his voice. Tears of joy slid down her cheeks as he sang the entire song to her as they danced, it was only a matter of a few seconds before everybody was out beside them dancing.
After the song ended everybody headed over to the table and sat down, Fran and the girls had prepared a feast for them to enjoy, they had fixed a meal with turkey and dressing, mashed potatoes, potato salad, pasta salad, green beans, carrots, rolls, wine and for Penelope, Jack and Henry lemonade and for dessert they had their wedding cake of course and as a surprise Fran baked double chocolate brownies for her new daughter-in-law.
When the meal was over Derek and Penelope moved over to the table that held their wedding cake, it was a three tier cake and it was beautiful, absolutely beautiful and both Derek and Penelope loved it. The family watched as the first piece was cut and put on a saucer, they then watched as Derek and Penelope fed each other the first piece and then kissed the remaining icing off of each others lips.
Penelope and Derek were so happy and enjoyed their reception, everybody laughed, talked, ate and danced for several hours before the newlyweds decided it was time for them to head home. They had decided to spend their honeymoon at Dereks place, aka their home now and then they would go someplace else later, right now the only thing that mattered was they were together.
Derek and Penelope ran hand in hand toward his waiting SUV with their family tossing birdseed at them, Reid laughed and said, "congratulations guys, we love you". Derek and Penelope turned and said, "thank you, we love you alllllllll" before climbing into the SUV and pulling away from the curve.
As they disappeared out of sight Fran sighed happily and said, "they looked happy didn't they"?, Dave wrapped his arms around her and said, "that they did Bella, that they did" as they then walked over to rejoin the others to continue the party.
