It took JJ and Emily a few minutes to gather up everything that Reid would need and by the time they got back Penelope, Derek and Reid were in the back seat and ready to begin. JJ opened the door and said, "here Spence, we managed to get everything" as both she and Emily handed the items to him.
Emily looked into the back seat and said, "how are you holding up PG"?, she blew out a deep breath and said, "not good Em, not good at alllllllllllll" as another contraction hit. She squeezed Dereks hand and he counted from five and said, "and breathe baby girl, breathe", he then wiped her forehead and said, "contractions are less than a minute apart".
Reid quickly checked her and then said, "okay Garcia you are fully dilated and ready to deliver", she looked at Derek and said, "I don't think I can do this hotstuff, I really don't". He kissed her lips gently and said, "I love you baby girl and yes, yes you can do this, I know that you can and just think in a few minutes our little one will be here and you'll get to hold him or her in your arms".
Penelope smiled and said, "that does sound goodddddddddd" as she was hit with yet another contraction, Reid said, "alright Penelope I need you to pushhhhhhhhhhh". She pushed and pushed as Derek counted down from five and then Reid and Derek in unison said, "and breathe" and she blew out a deep breath and said, "I can't, I can't" as she collapsed against Dereks chest.
Reid said, "on the next contraction we'll deliver the head and then next will be the shoulders and then the rest of the baby should be easy Garcia". She looked up at Derek and he smiled and said, "I love you and you can do this baby girl, you can do this".
She only had a few seconds to think before another contraction hit her and hit her hard, Reid said, "pushhhhh Garcia, pushhhhhhh" and push she did until Derek said, "and breathe". Penelope blew out a deep breath as Reid said, "alright, alright, the head is out so next is the shoulders, remember, you can dot his Garcia, you can do this".
Penelope only had a few seconds to rest before she was hit with another contraction, Reid said, "pushhhhhh Garcia" and she pushed and pushed until she stopped when she heard the cries of their first child fill the backseat of the SUV. Derek kissed the top of her head and then her lips and said, "you did it baby girl, you did it", Penelope and Derek watched Reid as he cleaned off the baby and then cut the cord before wrapping the baby up in a blanket.
Derek said, "the baby, how is the baby"?, Reid handed Penelope the bundle and said, "congratulations, he's fine, he's perfect" and then he sat back on his heels and grinned as he watched baby boy Morgan bond with his mommy and with his daddy.
