Hypnotized By You-Ch 18
Dave stuck his head in the door and said, "since the ambulance can't get here, let's try to get kitten and the baby there ourselves, I'm sure that we can get you moving again pretty fast if we try". Hotch looked at Dave and said, "if we can manage to get to that side street, we can get rerouted and get to the hospital in a matter of a few minutes".
Reid and the others watched as Dave and Hotch walked over to the officers, they talked for a few minutes before looking over their shoulder at Reid. Hotch then motioned for Reid where to go and it didn't take long before the little family was finally headed to the hospital.
Dave pulled out his cell and dialed Frans number, he wanted to let her know that her grandson had arrived and that he and his mother was in route to the hospital. Fran was so excited, she couldn't wait to meet her new grandson, she was going to spoil him rotten of course, it was her right as his grandma to do just that.
When Derek and the others arrived at the hospital Fran was waiting for them at the ER entrance, she was all smiles as she hugged and congratulated first her son and then her daughter-in-law on the birth of their first child.
Derek grinned and said, "ma we want you to meet your grandson", Fran thought her heart was going to burst from her chest and fly away from pure happiness. She kissed him on the forehead and said, "hello there sweetheart, I'm your grandma Fran and I'm going to spoil you rotten, yes I am" as she continued to look down at the sleeping face of her grandson.
Fran, Derek, Reid and Penelope looked up to see several doctors and nurses running out with a gurney to put Penelope on, they stood back and watched as they loaded her up. Fran put her grandson back in the loving arms of his mother and they all followed Penelope and the baby inside.
Derek was allowed to go with them but Fran and Reid had to wait in the waiting room, as they sat Fran looked at him and said, "what happened to make her go into labor a couple of weeks early"?, Reid looked at her and smiled as he filled her in on what had happened at the BAU and on their way to the hospital.
When he was finished Fran hugged him and said, "thank you so much for delivering my grandson", Reid said, "I'm just glad that they are both alright, that's the important thing, right"?, and Fran nodded her head yes as they sat back and waited on the others to arrive.
It didn't take long before Dave, Hotch, Emily and JJ ran through the door of the hospital, they looked to the right and saw Fran and Reid sitting and walked over to join them. Hotch said, "any news"?, Reid shook his head and said, "nothing yet but they were both fine when they brought them inside, I'm sure they are getting them both cleaned up and getting the baby measured and weighed and then I'm sure we'll be able to see them".
Everybody sat down and grinned happily as they waited to get to see the new little family again
