Hypnotized By You-Ch 19
It wasn't long before the family got a group text from Derek letting them all know what room Penelope and the baby were in, so they all smiled as they made their way toward the elevator. As they stepped off the elevator Fran said, "Sarah and Desi are" and before she could finish that thought Sarah said, "hey ma, sorry that we're late but traffic was a bear".
Fran said, "no problem baby, we're on our way right now to see the newest addition to the family", Desi said, "I bet he's adorable isn't he"?, everybody nodded their heads yes in agreement and said ,"yes" in unison as they headed down the hall toward Penelopes room.
As they walked through the door Penelope and Derek looked up and smiled, the family gathered around them and JJ said, "how are you doing Garcie"?, she said, "good, tired but good". Fran said, "and how's my grandson doing"?, Derek said, "he's great ma, he's 19 inches long and weighs 6 lbs 7 oz" causing everybody to grin as they looked down at the sleeping tot.
Reid looked up at Penelope as she said, "thank you so much boy wonder, thank you so much for bringing this little miracle into the world for us, I don't know what we would have done without you". Derek said, "she's right pretty boy, we would have been in a world of trouble if you weren't there", Reid sighed happily and said, "I'm glad that I was there and was able to help".
Desi said, "soooooo have you guys come up with a name yet"?, Derek and Penelope looked at each other and then the family and nodded their heads yes in agreement. Derek said, "we would like you to all meet the newest member of our family Hank Spencer Morgan" and Reid smiled and said, "thank you, I'm truly honored".
Derek said, "Hank after my pops and Spencer after the best little brother anybody could ever ask for", Reid wiped away the tears that were streaming down his face as Derek pulled him into his arms and into a loving brotherly hug. Derek looked at Reid and said, "pretty boy we were hoping that you and JJ would be his Godparents", Reid smiled at JJ and she nodded her head yes and he said, "we we would love to" as Derek smiled and said, "that's great".
Penelope said, "you all mean the world to me, Derek and Hank, you always have and you always will", Derek said, "and we both know that you are gonna spoil him rotten". Sarah laughed and said, "ohhhh that's a given little brother, a solid given" causing everybody to laugh and grin as their attention then went back to the baby sleeping in his mommas arms.
Penelope looked up at Reid and said, "boy wonder, would you like to hold him"?, Reid said, "I'd love to" and he leaned down and took Hank into his arms and smiled brightly. He kissed the chubby cheeks of his nephew and said, "I'm going to help you learn the joys and wonderous love of Dr. Who" and Derek rolled his eyes as Reid started giving Hank a blow by blow of what to expect in the world of the Dr.
Over the next hour or so Derek and Penelope sat watching as everybody got a chance to hold and bond with the newest member of the family, baby Hank. Penelope yawned and laid her head down on Dereks shoulder, he kissed the top of her head and said, "I love you Mrs. Morgan", she sighed happily and said, "and I you Mr. Morgan, and I you" as she closed her eyes and soon fell asleep.
