A/N:

Thanks for the reviews and favourites everyone. First thanks Breloom, and secondly, thanks Mist33, to answer your question, some chapters will be short, others long, last chapter was very short as I only wanted to use it as a setup to justify future events and consequences. Lastly, as I said there will be many references in this story, and most of the references won't be playing any major, or even minor roles in my story, except for 3 of them. Last chapters reference was to the Yakuza franchise, this chapter won't have one, but you can expect two in the next one.

Fuutaro slowly opened his eyes and lay in the darkness of the early morning. Once his eyes got used to the darkness, he got up and checked his phone. '04:27 9 Sep.' Fuutaro then placed his phone back down on his table and began to do his morning exercises: 60 push ups, 60 crunches, 40 leg raises, and 20 pull ups. Once he finished, he jumped back up and nodded to himself. From his closet he took out his school bag and slowly sneaked through his house, making sure not to wake up Raiha. As he passed his father's room, he stopped and thought. Fuutaro realized what he had to do. He snuck into his fathers' room and loomed over him, Fuutaro took out a long, thin object, and brought it to his father's face. He made several quick slashes and smiled to himself, proudly looking at what he had done, and made it out the house, beginning his journey to school.

Isanari awoke with pain on his face, and a strange feeling. He made his way to the bathroom, turned on the lights and stared at his face with horror. On his face was a moustache drawn on with a sharpie, and on his cheeks were the words 'loser' and 'suck it'. Isanari clenched his teeth as he muttered to himself "I'll fucking kill you, asshat."

Fuutaro was already halfway to school. Suddenly, he threw his head back and laughed to himself, 'he should be awake by now' he thought to himsself. He shook his head, put on his headphones, and walked the rest of the way to Asahiyama. As he made it past the school gates, he threw off his headphones, walked to the student locker bay and put on his school shoes. Once he had finished preparations, he walked up a flight of stairs and entered his class. Flipping open his phone he checked the time again, '07:30'. Instantly, he took a seat and began writing lessons for his future students. His focus was unbreakable, he moved his pen like a knife and with every flick wrote dozens of questions. Nothing could stop him, not his classmates greeting him, not the teacher entering the room, everyone was sure not even the apocalypse could stop him in his crusade. That was until the bell rang, making him instantly put everything down.

Fuutaro made it through the day, answering every question given to the class, giving him more free time to work on the questions. Once lunch rolled around, he decided it was time for him to focus on himself. He ignored his classmates questioning him about what he was doing and made his way to the cafeteria. He ordered his usual lunch, a barbecue beef combo without the barbecue, and made his way to his usual table.

"Is he seriously still sitting alone?"

"Makes sense, guess you can't be the top student without being a loser."

Fuutaro ignored the gossiping and carried on. From the corner of his eye, he saw a delinquent preparing a spit ball.

'Eh, I'll just take it, better that than causing a fight.' Suddenly, the sound of a slam made him jump in surprise. Fuutaro turned back to see a boy with slicked back hair shouting.

"The Hell do you think you're all doing?! Can't you mind your own damn business?!" Fuutaro recognised the voice, an old friend. The boy with slicked back hair turned to the one with the bowl cut and nodded. Fuutaro continued to his table and nodded back, giving him a smile.

"Thanks, Maeda." As Fuutaro placed his tray on his table, he heard it clash with another tray. Fuutaro brought his eyes up and scanned the scene. His eyes widened from seeing a girl with beautiful, long, red hair, and eyes as blue as the ocean trying to take a seat. As the two stared at each other, her face grew shade of red brighter than her hair, and quickly she turned away.

"I'm s-sor-ry, I-I'll go find another t-table" the girl stuttered out and quickly left, leaving Fuutaro speechless. After thinking about what just happened, he shrugged to himself and sat down, pulling out a previous maths test of his and scanning it, all the while eating his meal. It was no more than a minute later after the girl left, that she came back to Fuutaro's table, looking dejected, making the ace student stare at her, waiting for her to say something.

"There's no other tables" she sighed, "can I sit here?". Fuutaro just pointed to the chair on the other side of the table and pulled his tray back enough so the girl could place her tray down. "Thank you very much." The girl placed her tray down and said her prays before digging in. Fuutaro took a look at the girl's meal and did some calculations in his head.

'A large bowl of udon for 250 yen, 3 fried shrimp for 200 yen each, miso soup for 150 yen as well as pudding for 180, making it… 1180 yen?! For lunch?!' Realising he was staring, Fuutaro quickly looked away from the girls meal and back to his test. After a few minutes, the girl finished her meal and began preparing to leave, before noticing her peer looking over a test paper.

"You've been studying this whole time? Either you're very diligent, or more likely, you must have gotten one terrible grade." Before Fuutaro could throw his attention her way, the girl had already grabbed his test out of his hands. "Let's see, Uesugi Fuutaro-Kun, with a grade of… 100?! What are you even studying for?!" Fuutaro looked at her with disappointment in his eyes.

"Even if I get perfect grades, I still have to stay on top of my studies, I can't get distracted for a single moment." He responded, seemingly cringing at what the girl was saying. He quickly stole his paper back and placed it in his bag. As he sat back down, he noticed something odd. "Hey, why aren't you wearing the school uniform? Actually, now that I think about it, I haven't seen you at all before, are you new?" Fuutaro asked.

The girls face flushed as she realised she hadn't introduced herself, "Oh, I'm sorry, I'm Itsuki Nakano, I transferred here from Kurobara because of my… less than great grades." Itsuki quickly bowed before continuing, "Now that I've seen your grades, I have to ask, could you tutor my sisters and I?" Fuutaro looked at her for a second with a gaze that Itsuki felt was piercing her, analysing every fibre of her being, before turning away.

"I've already got a lot on my hands, not to mention I've just been hired to tutor some other people, I don't have time to help someone so rude as to snatch someone's test right from their hands." Fuutaro snickered to himself before walking off, leaving the girl speechless. Despite knowing he was right, Itsuki couldn't help but hate him for speaking to someone he just met like that. She angrily packed her things and left, making her way to her class.

Fuutaro took a seat in the mostly empty class and took out the tests he was writing for his future students, passing the time until class began. As the teacher walked in, a girl familiar to Fuutaro walked in to the room. The old man silenced the class and spoke.

"This is Nakano Itsuki, she is a transferee from Kurobara, and she will be a student of our class from now on. Itsuki-San, please take a seat, there's a spare seat next to Fuutaro over there." As expected, the class erupted at the news of having a new student.

"Woah, she's cute."

"Her hair's so pretty. Do you think she dyes it?"

Everyone was excited, except for Fuutaro, who was cringing, hard, realizing he'd have to sit next to the girl he insulted for the next year. He kept his head down and let his bangs cover his eyes, hoping Itsuki would ignore him. Thankfully, she walked right past him and took her seat, not uttering a word to him.

"Settle down, settle down, you can talk to her once lesson is over, for now please focus." The teacher calmed the class and for the next hour spent the lesson teaching the class chemistry. Nothing Fuutaro hadn't seen before. Occasionally Fuutaro would glance to his right and observe Itsuki and watch her. He noticed she was mostly struggling and was spending several minutes on every question and was taking notes, but not many. Sometimes though, the girl would suddenly get filled with energy and write an answer down with a smile on her face.

Once class finished, Fuutaro quickly got up and took a quick look at Itsuki's book, seeing dozens of mistakes and poorly written notes. 'Looks like she wasn't kidding when she said she wasn't the greatest at her studies.' Fuutaro took a mental note of some of her characteristics as he had done with many others in his class and walked off, not bothering to talk to her like all his peers. He quickly made it out of school and called his father.

After the first ring, Isanari picked up and quickly spoke, "Sup, asshole, wanna say anything about what happened to my face this morning?" causing Fuutaro to laugh maniacally. After a second or so, he responded.

"Well if you had woken up earlier, that wouldn't have happened. Anyway, I'm heading to the place, I'll call you again once I finish tutoring." Hearing his words, Isanari exploded.

"EARLIER?! YOU WAKE UP AT FOUR IN THE GODDAMN MORNING, YOU WANT ME TO WAKE UP AT THAT GOD FORSAKEN HOUR?! HOW DO YOU EVEN SURVIVE WITH SO LI-" Fuutaro hung up the call and shrugged. 'He'll get over it soon.'

The boy took a walk through the streets before reaching an alleyway, at which point he undid his hair and let it flow as he ran through the backstreets, jumping the occasional fences. He was familiar with these areas, having been through there hundreds of times before. It would be faster to get to his destination with a car, but in terms of walking alone, this would allow him to skip busy streets and crosswalks, allowing him to arrive 5 minutes faster than someone who would be taking the normal route. As he was bounding across the narrow streets, something came up in his mind, something his father said.

'His daughters are moving to your school, and they need a tutor' his students are transferees. The boy suddenly stopped in his tracks and smashed his hand into a wall repeatedly. "Shit, shit, shit!" he shouted to himself. Thoughts clouded his mind 'Itsuki transferred here, and I didn't notice anyone else who was new, is she one of the students I need to tutor? After I was so rude to her, there's no way she'll let me! After all the time I spent? How am I meant to handle this?!' The boy spent a few seconds standing still, his whole body shaking because of his mistake.

'Hold on,' another thought entered his mind, 'I'm meant to be tutoring sisters, if Itsuki had any she would have been with them rather than eat lunch with me, meaning she isn't the one I'm meant to tutor!' The boy quickly calmed down and let out a deep breath. After spending another minute calming down, (and caressing his hand), he continued his journey.

After a few more minutes of running, the boy exited a backstreet and came out in front of his destination, a large apartment, 'The Pentagon'. As he came to the building he swiped the card on the entrance, causing the glass door to open. As he entered, he tied his hair back into his signature bowl cut and made it to the elevator. After a minute or so of waiting the elevator arrived and Fuutaro entered. "If I remember correctly, dad told me they're on the top floor. Must be a pretty rich family if they can afford the top floor." A minute of agonizing silence later and he was at the top of the building. After he walked out, the elevator immediately started going down to another floor. Fuutaro prepared himself and knocked on the door. He could hear a ruckus from inside as someone rushed to the door and opened it.

"Hey! What took you so long to get back home?" a girl who looked oddly familiar stepped out the door, "Huh, who are you?"

Fuutaro took a breath and explained, "I'm Uesugi Fuutaro, your father hired me, I suppose he didn't tell you about anything from your reaction." The surprise on the girls face was consumed by anger. Suddenly, the elevator dinged, and Fuutaro realised why she looked so familiar. "Ah, fuck."

The elevator doors opened and a girl almost identical to the one in front of him rushed out, and once she saw the door was open, she shouted out. "Nino! Sorry I'm late, my classmates were crowding around me! I couldn't get out!" As she made it to the door, Itsuki looked at the boy she had met just hours earlier. "Uesugi-Kun! What are you doing here?!" She screamed out.

As Itsuki screamed, 3 more girls came out the door to see what was happening. A girl with short hair chuckled, "Well, Itsuki, I didn't expect you to bring a boy home on the first day of you going to school." She went up to Itsuki and grabbed her by the shoulders, making her blush.

"N-no, it's not like that! I don't k-know w-why that asshole is here!" Itsuki's choice of words surprised all the other girls, who seemingly had never heard her talk like that before. Fuutaro was quick to try correct her.

"I did nothing but say the truth. You were the rude one, taking a test of mine straight out my hands, attempting to embarrass me." Itsuki tried to argue back, but found no words to say, knowing he said nothing but the truth. From the door, a girl wearing headphones spoke up.

"So, if Itsuki didn't invite you, why are you here?" Everyone shifted their eyes to her, and then back to Fuutaro.

"Right, I'm your new tutor." An expression of shock grew on all the girls faces.
