Chapter 1: Two Children One Destiny
In the year 41 BBY (Before Battle of Yavin) two babies were born. One is Izuku Midoriya born in Musutafu, Japan, and the other is Melissa Shield born on I-island in the Pacific Ocean. Both looked like normal babies, but their destinies are intertwined.
The two babies for some reason were always smiling. But after a couple of years, they started to act more differently. Melissa learned to suppress her emotions to avoid getting her dad and herself in trouble. Izuku on the other hand always showed his emotions on his sleeves. He showed joy and sadness, but never anger.
Once they reached the age of four all their friends have developed their quirks. But they haven't shown signs of developing one. Melissa chose to believe that this was for a reason and continued to move forward. But Izuku kept trying to use his mother and father's quirks and nothing happened. He thought it wasn't fair how he didn't get a quirk. His childhood friend Bakugo started calling him Deku and that just made his blood boil. Throughout his elementary years, he got abused by classmates and some teachers.
After his 8th birthday, he decided to run away from home. He couldn't deal with the abuse from his class and teacher anymore. He ran as far as he could until he reached a forest nearby. Once he reached a hill he channeled his anger into one scream.
That scream reverberated past the walls of Wild Space until it reached Moraband where a Sith Lord, Darth Gohl, who was meditating opened his eyes revealing a deep amber, he then looked up. He was a middle-aged man with a black mask to cover the lower half of his face and black and red robes w/ a hood to cover his head.
He got up and started walking towards a cliffside. As he was walking he spoke in a deeply modulated voice saying, "It is been a long time since the Force could break through Wild Space." Then cliffside opened up revealing a Fury Interceptor.
Once in the starfighter started to focus on the location of the expulsion of rage in Wild Space and to let it guide him to the source.
Meanwhile, Master Yoda woke up from his meditation. He had a vision of a dark shadow covering the far reaches of the Galaxy and a star chart showing coordinates in Wild Space. He walked out of the room he was in and went into another chamber where Master Met Mereel was teaching younglings. Master Met was a fair-skinned lady in her later 40's with hazel brown hair and light tan robes.
Once she noticed Master Yoda enter she dismissed the younglings. "Greetings Master Yoda what gives me the pleasure to have your presence?" Master Met asked.
"A potential youngling in Wild Space might fall into the hands of an old evil. You shall go find the youngling and return them to the temple so they can be taught how to use the Force," he replied while giving her a set of coordinates of where the youngling might be.
Master Met bowed and took her Aethersprit to orbit and entered her hyperspace ring and entered the coordinates. Once she exited hyperspace she detached the hyperspace ring and was over the Pacific Ocean. She saw an artificial island and landed on the helipad.
While Master Met was on I-island Darth Gohl was landed on the hill Izuku was on. Izuku panicked seeing the starfighter for the first time. The gangway lowered and Darth Gohl walked down looking around for a Force Sensitive presence only to see an eight-year-old boy hiding behind a tree. He then walked towards the boy slowly so he would scare him and kneeled to his level to see eye to eye.
"You are strong in the Force young one. What is your name?" he asked politely. "Izuku Midoriya sir. And what is the Force?" he said timidly. "The is an energy that is all things for people like you and me to the planet you stand on. And you can harness it. So, I will teach you how to master it." Darth Gohl offered a hand.
"But I'm quirkless I can't have power. Like the other 20% of the population. " Izuku said with his head hanging low. Darth Gohl gave a hearty laugh. "Maybe this quirk thing hinders the ability to use the Force. Because you are strong with the Force and I can help you harness it." He said out loud. Izuku perked up after hearing this. He had a chance to have power and to prove everyone wrong when they called him useless.
"I'll join you," Izuku said taking the Sith Lord's hand and following him to the ship. Darth Gohl finally explained to Izuku he will teach him the away of the Sith. A group forgot that believed in absolute power. Izuku liked the sound of that and they went into hyperspace after exiting the Earth's orbit.
Meanwhile back with Master Met, she exited the Aethersprit and closed her eyes to find the child. Once she got to the location she walked towards a group of people. "Who would I find in that building?" she asked while pointing at a laboratory. The group looked at each other before answering. "That's David Shield's lab the only people in there now are David and his daughter." one of them replied. "What business do you have with David?" another asked.
"I would like to talk to David and his daughter," she said using a Jedi Mind Trick. The group repeated the line and guided her to David's lab. Once they reached the door she used another Jedi Mind Trick to make them go away. After they were gone she knocked on the door. Seconds later David opened the door and was surprised to see someone he didn't recognize.
"Hello, My name is Jedi Master Met Mereel I was sent by Master Yoda to bring a youngling to the Jedi Temple to be trained to protect the Galaxy," she said to a confused David. "I will not take her from unless you both agree to it," she said trying to reassure him.
He finally spoke by asking, "How can you prove you say you are who are?" She replied saying, "I sense a lot of fear from you. How about we talk to your daughter. Who is listening in the hall." The using the Force opened the door letting Melissa fall. She quickly got up and apologized for eavesdropping. She then started to walk out when Master Met stopped her. She placed a bolt from the workbench on the ground and asked Melissa to give it to her without touching it.
"But that's impossible I don't have a quirk," she said disheartened. "Just try to focus on your surroundings and image the bolt rising off the ground." Master Met explained. So Melissa closed her eyes and raised her right hand out. She took a deep breath and the bolt rose and went into her hand.
When she opened her eyes she was surprised to find she did it. "What you just did was use the Force, an energy that flows through all living beings and some can control this energy, you part of that few. If you come with me I can help teach you and help protect the Galaxy."
"Like a hero?" Melissa asked on the verge of crying. "Yes, like a hero, some Jedi have been recognized as heroes to some." Master Met replied with a light smile. Melissa then looked at her dad and asked if she could go. "How will I know she will be safe if she goes with you?" he questioned. "She will be surrounded by hundreds of Jedi Knights and Masters there is nowhere safer," she replied calmly.
He looked at Melissa who is practically jumping in one spot. He signed and asked Melissa if she was sure she wanted to go. She nodded ecstatically and said she is positive she wants to go. He then looked at the Jedi Master. "She is your hands now. The next time I see her she should be alive." he threatened.
The Jedi Master bowed her head promising to keep her safe. Once he heard the promise he kneeled in front of Melissa. "I love you sweety and if want to go I won't stop you." She hugged him and promised to stay safe. Once everyone said their goodbye Melissa went with Master Met on the Aethersprit and went into orbit. Melissa was astounded by the sight of the earth from orbit. As she was looking at the Earth Mester Met locked into the Hyperspace ring and punched the coordinates for Coruscant.
