Chapter 3: Your Training Starts Now
6 Months Later
Izuku's connection to the Dark Side made him as strong as a Padawan or a weak Jedi Knight. He also reached a point in his Stealth training where he can hide from Padawans and some Jedi Knights. As for the Sith Oath, he can say it by heart as well as write it in Aurebesh.
He was currently in his chambers reciting the Sith Oath to start the day. He was wearing black and red robes from Darth Gohl the day after he arrived. After he finished the Oath Darth Gohl entered the room. Izuku went up to the Sith Lord and kneeled before him.
"Welcome Master, what can I do for you?"
"I am here to talk about your training Izuku. You have astonishingly quick compared to other force users. But, the Sith believes stagnation is death. So I will replace some of the routines you have."
Izuku was so excited to see what he will learn next from his Master. He promised himself he doubles his efforts to learn and master all he has and will learn. Then he noticed his Darth Gohl was speaking again.
"First you stop reciting the Sith Oath every day. You have already memorized it by heart. So I will teach you how to use a lightsaber. So, when you make yours you know how to use it ahead of time. You will be learning Form VII also known as Juyo. It is a highly aggressive and unpredictable lightsaber form. When you are done with your training no one can or will stop you."
Darth Gohl asked Izuku to follow him. As they were walking through the Sith Temple. Some rooms were blocked by sand and others were covered in it. Suddenly the Sith Lord stopped in front of an empty room. It was a large room with training dummies across the walls and an Obstacle Course in the middle. Some of the dummies looked more like robots with guns on them.
The Master went towards a table with a box on it. Once at the table he picked up the box. It was a sleek black box with a hexagon and what looks like a spur in the of it. He brought it up to Izuku, so the Apprentice opened it up. Inside was a technology-advanced practice sword. So he picked it up and pressed the small red button on the side. "The weapon your holding is an ancient practice blade Soth Acolytes used when training before being chosen by a Sith Lord to be their Apprentice."
Izuku was shocked. This high-tech practice blade counted as ancient. So, if this is ancient what is the current standard. He was so excited he swung it around to test it around. It felt heavier than he expected.
Darth Gohl then ignited his lightsaber and swung at Izuku. He panicked and blocked the strike. He wasn't expecting to go straight into training.
"The best way to learn how to fight is experience. You will keep that practice sword on you at all times and I will randomly attack you throughout the day. You will block any attack I give and try to counterattack."
The Sith Lord pulled away from the attack unignited the blade and put it away. Sending Izuku away so he could practice his control of the Force. As the Sith Lord said throughout the day he was attacked when lifting the boulders. For the last few hours of the day, he spent hiding his presence.
After he finished his Stealth training he went to check out the Training Hall one more time. He went up to the training dummies. He took out his Practice Sword and swung at the dummy to test the durability. The dummy didn't have a scratch on it after the strike. So he went to the other dummy, the one with a blaster, to see if it worked.
He found a button on the back of it. So out of curiosity, he pressed it and the dummy started shooting. He pressed it again and the dummy was deactivated. He figured it was for dodging and blocking practice.
He later figured it wouldn't hurt to incorporate some defensive training against ranged opponents. If he didn't it could be a weakness that can be exploited easily. So he tried to figure out his schedule from now on. He'd wake up and start his Weight Training, then move to his Stealth Training, after that spend the rest of the day blocking ranged attacks, and finally go to sleep.
Meanwhile in the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. Melissa was currently in her room meditating. She was currently reflecting on how fast 6 months passed by. She did meet some of the other Padawans, even though they don't train together.
One of the other Padawans was Anakin Skywalker. He was Padawan to Jedi Knight Obi-wan Kenobi. He was Knighted after killing a Sith Lord on Naboo. He followed a similar style of training and is only under Obi-wan Kenobi.
Both met while in the Jedi Archives studying Jedi History and Aruabesh. She found out that Anakin was studying Aruabesh because he couldn't read or write. They agreed to help each other whenever one has a question. They talked to each other when both their Masters give them a day off or in between lessons.
In 3 months they both became fluent in Aruabesh. During the time they should be learning about Aruabesh they were trading engineering information. Anakin would teach Melissa about starships and other vehicles. While Melissa taught Anakin about what she knew about support gear.
After she finished reminiscing the last 6 months she went to the Training Hall she went to practice her control of the Force. Just as she was about to leave she sees Master Met in front of the door.
"Good morning Master. What can I do for you today?"
"Good morning to you too Melissa. I've come to talk about your training and what needs to change. Follow me to the Training Hall."
Once at the Training Hall Master Met and Melissa kneeled across from each other. Next to the Jedi Master was a small box. She then picked the box and opened it to the Padawan. Inside was a bladeless high-tech sword.
"Pick it up and ignite the blade." her Master ordered. So she picked it up and it ignited into a light blue blade. It hummed as she lightly swung it around.
"This is your practice lightsaber. You will use this until you get your r crystal and make your blade. Every morning after you do your rituals you will come to this room to practice Form I with me."
"What is Form I?" Melissa asked.
Master Met took out a metal ball the size of a marble. She then placed it on a structure that looked like a tall vase with a small divot in it. She placed the marble in the divot. The rooms' windows started to darken. Suddenly Master Cin Drallig, a human male with a brown mullet, appeared. He is a Jedi Master known for practicing all of the lightsaber forms.
"The Jedi have different 8 forms when using a lightsaber. Form I is the common form used to teach Padawans basic skills when using a lightsaber. Form II is a form used to disarm opponents and to prevent disarmament. Form III is a very defensive lightsaber form. Form IV is an aggressive acrobatic form known for speedy and Force enhanced movements. Form V is a more fluid form with some variations involving a reverse grip. Form VI is a more popular combat form in the Jedi Order due to it being very balanced. Form VII on the other hand is very aggressive and unpredictable. It is the common lightsaber form of the Sith due to the channeling of negative emotions but, some Jedi during the High Republic practiced it. Finally, a hidden form, Form VIII is used to practice multiple blades. Whether from two single-bladed lightsabers or a double-bladed lightsaber."
When the program ended Master Met picked up the marble and put it in her pocket. She then ignited the saber and asked Melissa to do the same. So, for an hour they repeated basic Form I positions. After that, they talked about what can they change about Melissa's training. They decided to cut the Aruabesh practice and replace it with engineering with Anakin.
After they discussed it with Obi-wan Kenobi and got his consent. Melissa proceeded with her training. She went back to the Training Hall for her daily meditation. Once she was done, she went back to her room and went to bed. Wondering what the next day might bring.
